It’s a great option for miami spice. The service was awesome. Outstanding waiters. The onion soup is good, the tagliatelle is magnifique and the desserts delicious!!! A must try!

Our service and food was great. Miami Spice menu. What a deal!

Fancy place, and the servers were nice. My wife and I went for Miami Spice and tried different things. The escargot were already out of their shells and in a sauce with mushrooms. The onion soup had a lot of cheese which I appreciated. Both appetizers were decent. For entrees we had the chicken paillard, and the tagliolini. The chicken dish had crushed green olives and nuts, which had an interesting flavor, but not my thing. The pasta on the other hand was phenomenal - was creamy with a truffle taste. What really shined were the desserts though. We had the creme brulee and profiteroles - Absolute must try!

My favorite spot for people watching at Bal Harbour shops. The food is not always the best (my French toast this time around was slightly burned), but the service is good and quick.

Overall not bad, service was ok, they definitely try to sell and rush the experience… food was good, I think dessert was probably the best part, I was excited to come try however did not blow my mind. Fair to say 6/10.

Enjoyed dinner at Le Zoo! The Escargot preparation was delectable as was the grilled branzino! I will definitely return!

One of my favorite French spots in Miami. The duck a l'orange is a must, the burger is great, steak frites, and the profiterole….. We dine here at least twice a month, trust me.

Love le Zoo- a regular, special occasions, weekdays, even dining solo a nicoise at the bar. The staff knows me. Consistent good service, never disappoints, value for the money- don’t change! Miami is pricing so much higher than NYC and the quality not close. Recent changes to menu, disappointing! Changing the steak frites cut, disastrous! It was the best in town (yes!) and regulars alike, taking our classic steak craving elsewhere. Bad! Don’t change a winner when your regulars are complaining!

Improve the service as nobody came to me when I sat down for over 20 minutes, as well as have knowledge about the menu. I felt that nobody was able to provide information about the menu, and why I should pick a certain item over another. I ordered a Pizza and Cesar Salad. The pizza was good, and it was tasty, but the Cesar was decent, just nothing special to it. Overall, I would my expectations is sub-par. I would not rush to go back here, but it is not the worst. The atmosphere is decent as there needs to be more seating available for people, and having more comfortable chairs for the guests, as the chairs were hard. I do like the outside area though, but the ones that spread out, good but limited.

The best onion soup and fries , they take 10 pointsout of 10 !! We ordered the steak , we gave it a 7.5, a tuna nicoisse salad an 8 and the profitero dessert , great presentation and not too sweet, we gave it an 8.

The Branzino was ok. The kids meal that we chose was the chicken fingers and french fries very salty and my daughter had a burger that was also very salty. I love coming here for breakfast so I have to say the breakfast is very nice

We came here for an early lunch on a Friday and sat on the patio. Waitress was very attentive and quick with our food. The location is very nice right by the valet stand. Patio is covered and has lots of room.

We had a great brunch at Le Zoo. Inside is terrific. Outdoors is quieter where you can hear each other talk. Nice to have both options. We will be back for sure. I love crème brûlée 🍮

I used to love this place it was excellent food, but I have a feeling the standard has decreases a lot. I had a salmon and my grown up son steak and frites and it was mediocre, salmon was dry and a ridiculous portion and steak was also dry and poorly presented… Defínetly something has changed here. Also it’s strange that restaurant was kind of empty on a Saturday everning compared with how packed it was in the past,

Nice atmosphere at the entrance to the Bal Harbor shop... Busy restaurant. I found few options on the menu. Service is average. At the entrance, reception treats you very badly. We ordered truffled pizza and smoked salmon toast. The pizza was tasty but the toast was average. Price is fair!

Wish I could give 6 stars! I go every time I am in Miami Beach. It feels like I'm on vacation when there. And every time, it's superlative.

My friend and I had a wonderful time eating dinner at Le Zoo. Our three course meal started off with unlimited choices of bread, then came the cucumber soup, Rateatoullie and créeme brûlée! All at once we had a wonderful French dining experience. Thank you to our wait staff and the chef for everything.

In a city, such as diverse as South Florida, I would have never expected to have the experience that I had at Le Zoo!! From the moment we sat down the service was subpar. We had to wait for water. Wait for our silverware. Wait to be served with bread. We had to ask the bus boys to assist us with things we needed for our table. After waiting an hour for our food, we asked our server about our entrées and his reply was ‘I don’t have any control over the kitchen’. I then proceeded to talk to the manager who just brushed me off or acknowledge my concern. He didn’t even come to our table to continue to hear or address our concerns about our delayed food. He eventually sent over a subordinate to come and try and smooth the table and situation over which was unsuccessful. The manager blatantly ignored our concerns however he rushed to help another table with less Melanated individuals with water and additional services. He even brought out their food in a much more timely manner than our table while we still awaited our food. Eventually, the food came, and it was cold, and it was not even good. So I was really upset at the poor quality of food, the absolute despicable service, and the unjust amount of time we had to wait. The manager eventually came to our table to clear it, but it was more of an attempt to push us out the door. It was the worst experience I have ever had all my life. I am not swift to pull the race card however it was evident in our experience at Le Zoo. I don’t recommend it for any persons of a darker melanin because we were clearly discriminated against being the only table of people of color in that establishment at that time. Stay away people of dark or medium melanin. Your money nor business is NOT welcome there!!!

Great food ,Great service and awesome managers and workers

Had to send a steak back due to it being way too rare and once I got it back it was still the same amount of rare just deeper into the cut. Service was amazing and the general vibe was too but can’t recommend overpriced food that either isn’t made to your order or just bland and dry.

We recently dined at Le Zoo, a French brasserie nestled in the upscale locale of Bal Harbour, near Miami. This area is renowned for its high-end shops, designer boutiques, and a variety of restaurants. It’s not uncommon to spot celebrities and other high-profile figures frequenting the Bal Harbour shops. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of dining at several restaurants in this area. On this occasion, we chose to visit this French-Mediterranean establishment for dinner. We opted to sit on the patio, despite the interior of the restaurant being quite beautiful. The outdoor seating offered a cozy ambiance with views of palm trees. The restaurant boasted a wide selection of oysters and caviars. However, we decided on sauteed foie gras, and onion soup gratinee for our appetizers. The foie gras, although small in portion, was delectable, especially when paired with marmalade. The french onion soup was also superb. For our main course, we ordered steak frites, grilled salmon, duck l’orange, and butter noodles for our grandson. The butter noodles, which were essentially spaghetti, were served in a small portion and were quite buttery, which our grandson did not particularly enjoy. The orange duck, on the other hand, was quite flavorful. The steak frites and grilled salmon with citrus tabbouleh were also very tasty. For dessert, we indulged in vanilla bean creme brulee and profiteroles with ice cream. As someone who is well-acquainted with the authentic taste of creme brulee, I must say, this creme brulee was genuinely true to its original flavor. Profiteroles were also delightful, but they were a bit heavy for me. Another noteworthy aspect of our dining experience was the availability of mosquito repellent upon request. This thoughtful gesture significantly contributed to our overall satisfaction as customers.

Always satisfied whether it’s lunch or dinner, inside or out. The food is consistent, which is important to me.

Enjoyed a very nice lunch today had the salmon on brioche bun, tuna tartare and a creme brulee. Very nice service staff was very friendly will definitely be back thank you.

This is one of my fav places to dine when visiting Miami and Bal Harbor. Fantastic ambiance, amazing cocktails, and wonderful service. Ask for Sabrina to be your server. She will help you navigate the best dining options on the menu.

Food is always great but this is not the first time this happens. 4 of us tonight, at around 7 and Manager tells u they will be 2 hrs wait if no reservation was done prior. Open table was closed for the day. Carpaccio had a line of people was packed and as we waited, had dinner, some of the tables at Le Zoo never filled even. Few of the tables in the back were closed for business, front had plenty of tables too. Their loss

Management completely sucks. Have 7 open tables and they have no idea how to manage a restaurant on March 9, 2024 for dinner at 7:15pm walking 😂. Saying to a walking customer that they are too busy and everything is booked and you see at least 7 tables empty is a shame. Guess what - Carpaccio across is full and still seating.

This is definitely not our first time here but, the first time a HOST shooed me away as he was calling my partner over for our reservation. As he would only discuss our … seating arrangements … with him. Idk if that’s an insult to my age or my partners mindlessness but, you’re a dang host at a restaurant. My partners the one with money, I’m the one who complains when he doesn’t tip enough. Choose who you address rudely, wisely. Eggs Benedict is good but, not Michelin star.

Almost every place in Miami has mandatory tips. It was a relief to see this place doesn't even though I typically tip 30%+ anyways Tried chill cucumber soup, salmon, mussels with fries, egg truffle white pizza. All perfect Gabriela did a great job

Food and interior is good , I use to come foyer before . But hostess rusian girl doesn’t know anything about her job , was looking at us like we came to her own apartment and asked for the breakfast. We came Feb 5 at 3 pm and left to another place because we didn’t like how she treated us

I had such a terrible experience at Le Sou yesterday that I would never return. My reservation was for 9:30 PM, but they didn't seat us until 9:40 PM. After ordering, when all the dishes arrived at our table, one of my friends received a piece of meat that was half the size compared to the other meat cuts. When we called the manager to see if they could redo it or something, we were told that the chef had already left the restaurant and they couldn't cook any more food. I responded, saying that we were never given a last call or notified that we couldn't order more food. What if we wanted to order more? The general manager replied, "What do you want me to do? Cook it myself?" Then he just turned around and left. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in the culinary world and in hospitality. We were left without an answer, abandoned at the table, and they simply didn't charge us for the dish. This is in very poor taste and represents horrible customer service. I would never go back to that restaurant. And to clarify, we were treated like tourists even though I've lived in this city for over 14 years and have been to that mall a million times. I've never seen this type of treatment towards a customer before.

Quality French Bistro with great food and ambiance Unfortunately, the lunch host has quite an attitude, and although we had a reservation requeting not to sit across from each other she was adamant that we be seated at a small bistro table thaat had inadequate room for our food, wine, etc. What a shame one person can ruin a meal.

Recently dined at Le Zoo with my family, and the food was truly tasty. Unfortunately, the restroom had an unpleasant smell that shocked all of us. The absence of an air freshener was disappointing, and it detracted from the overall experience. Despite the delicious food, the unpleasant restroom situation left a mark. It's crucial for them to address this issue for a better overall dining experience for customers.

Cancelled by online booking the morning of the reservation. Called and the only excuse they had is that they’re overbooked. Even at the time of writing this, their online booking still has table available. Either take down the online system or learn to honor it. Absolutely unprofessional and ruined my plans

I've been here to eat a couple of times. Oysters are good but pricey. I can't say I've had their oysters since they've removed their happy hour offering though. Crab and Avocado salad are really nice. A bit on the small side for what it is. Burger also pretty good. Ordered it without pickles and it still came out with them on it. I just picked it off, but it would've been nice to get it as I ordered. If you sit outside, you're most likely facing the parking lot. Inside design is nice. The waiter didn't refill my water until it was empty for some time. Overall, I still quite like it. It's not the first place I'd return to in Bal Harbour Shops. Would like to see them bring back their Happy Hour offerings.

The best onion soup and burger in town. Love this place because for some weird reason its never packed so you can normally count on getting a table as a walk in (unlike the other places in Bal Harbor where you’re more likely to spot a UFO than get a table without a reservation on a weekend)

Food was not good at all! Overcrowded and the General Manager was just standing around like a deer in headlights. He was going in circles. Do not get the salmon. Our server was outstanding. Overall not worth it. Will not be returning and I will be telling my coworkers to avoid this place.

It’s a very likely place located in the mall however, the inside of the restaurant is beautiful. My fish was cooked perfectly and the service was great. I find the carpaccio was a bit bland but it was still good. The scallops, however, were one of the best scallops I’ve had.

Christmas lunch. We absolutely love this restaurant- Stephen Starr has the magic touch. Our server was Hayley -she is an incredibility wonderful server & made our experience the best From the salmon tartare to my fave warmed shrimp/avocado to the cremant & my fiancé’s Bloody Mary (2 of them) and chicken, we were thrilled. Everyone working so hard on Christmas too.

We came for years but today , the food was not good , salmon was overcooked , the St Tropez salad was like it was prepared long time in advance ( very bad !) the bread was not good as well !Very bad experience for a Christmas lunch

This is just an amazing place to eat and enjoy life. Spectacular menu with fresh tasting food in a comfortable outside seating. Our server Diego was just excellent, very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations.

First it is very strange for French restaurant not to have topical French items like duck But apart from that Food was terrible I ordered American hamburger and it came in two small patties that ware so overcooked I couldn’t even cut it After apologizing they brought new ones that were completely tasteless and disgusting French fries were saggy and uneatable Couldn’t eat that So it vent back My wife hade salmon that came on the bed of undercooked rice and uneatable Will not recommend Stay away

Wonderful Sunday brunch, great service, ambiance and food

Best steak frites I have had in a long time. Great to see hanger steak (onglet) on a menu. It was properly cooked. My real praise, however, is for their frites (French fries to you Yanks!). Triple cooked, crisp, perfect.

Lugar de categoría. Productos frescos con precios acordes a la calidad que ofrecen. Es conveniente hacer reservas ya que, principalmente por la noche, es muy común ver un gran flujo de comensales. La atención es cordial pero por momentos se llega a transmitir la tensión de tan alta demanda y eso puede afectar la eficiencia en la misma.

Had a delightful experience at Le Zoo! The service was impeccable, though the cocktails were a bit bland for my taste. The sautéed foie gras and tagliolini were absolutely delicious. The profiterole was a perfect ending – crisp exterior, ice cream filling, and decadent hot dark chocolate.

Great to have french bistro in bal harbor shops, so close to home - we’ve ordered beef tartar, onion soup, mussels and the steak frites. The onion soup was by far my favorite, it made me remind of a winter holiday we took in Paris. Way to go!

Unfortunately the food was not good, we ordered Escargots and they weren’t even in the shell (lack of flavor, freshness). The “fresh” baguette tasted stale and was cold. The turkey sandwich barely had turkey or avocado the pasta and meet just regular a shame we spend time there

Early lunch on a Saturday. Got there before it filled up, had a reservation. Service was fantastic and reminded me of Paris. Decor too for that matter. Steak tartatere was on point but had it's own distinctive twist, Bolognese was some of the best I've had, and wine reasonable. Very convenient to St Regis, would visit again.

I feel like the Michelin guide tricked me. Why on earth did they mention this place? We ordered a wine that happened to be out of stock. In order to find out that it was out of stock and finally get the bottle we requested as a replacement, we were already on to the meal. We waited several minutes before eating, but had to either wait for the wine and eat cold food, or just go ahead without wine. We asked the waitress where it was, and she blamed her manager. We were offered and then requested bread, and it didn't come until after we were done with appetizers. It was then awkwardly taken away from the table less than 5 minutes after it was brought to the table. The snails in a butter mushroom sauce were mostly mushrooms and few snails. The fois gras had very little fois gras... like, 2 bites. It was mostly cooked fruits. The coq au vin seemed as if the chicken had been butchered with a hammer rather than a knife, because the bones were cut at strange angles and had very jagged edges. The mussels had a bit of sand in some of them, but were otherwise okay. The upside: It has a nice French bistro vibe, and there are a lot of pretty people with fashionable shoes eating here. None of the staff dropped anything on me while serving, although they nearly did, twice.

The first impression is what counts, and this is not the exception: when showed to the high stand tables, I immediately noticed the dirty and abundant stains on the pillows that cover these ones. I even turned them over to check for more cleanliness but it was not the case. For sure, they were the “home” for many bugs as I left the place with several hives and bites in my legs. The food was really average and the service was so slow we needed to address another waiter. So disappointed. Never to come back again.

When I am in Miami , I try to come, I like the service, la salade niçoise, les moules frites, les pâtes à la bolognaise, et plus. It does looks like the bistro I am used to in small French town.

Very good food. You can eat inside with air c as always more noisy or outside. The food is French. Now the have put a few tables in the middle of the mall very nice Moule et frite is a very good option

Renee was an amazing server & bartender who was extremely attentive & caring! The manager RAY, on the other hand… The reason my friends & I will not be going back! Extremely rude, obnoxious & didn’t care about my friend getting sick after the overdose of chemicals in the bathroom! He literally told her “I don’t plan to do anything about this so if you want me to call the paramedics let me know” & walked away. After spending $400+ for 2 people, he could’ve found more compassion but he didn’t. I will go to Makoto & Aba from now on instead.

Although the food is absolutely delicious, some people might not like that Le Zoo can take 1 1/2 - 2 hours. It was crowded and the service was really slow. We don’t necessarily recommend it, but if you are fine waiting for your food this can probably suit you. Overall, great food, slow service, but the theming was fit perfectly into it’s European style.

Everything is perfect! The food is amazing. The ambient is perfect. I recommend 100%. We ordered pizza, branzino and profiteroles.

It was horrible. Worst food I ever had in Miami. Completely disappointing. French onion soup was burnt, mushroom fettuccine was dripping with oil. Foie Gras was paired with a really odd sauce that didn't go well. I will give one star only for the server who was nice and the ambience is good.

How you prefer your steak…. well done.. At the end arrived burned. Paid the check and the waitress asked also for the tip. Of course I said no.

The food was genuinely good, the wine was a disgrace, a trully awful Pinot Noir, young, no character. A cheap wine in taste, a classic wine in the price. Completely out of tone with the restaurant. We opted outside, since inside the restaurant is delightful, but too cold. Outside we sat at a relatively small table, right by the local vane Ferrari alley, so it was noisy and weird. The food did make it up for the noise and bad wine. Will I return? Yes, but with a jacket and gloves inside or noise canceling phones if outside.

My first time having escargot! It was ok, the stock/ broth that the escargot was in was pretty good. The truffle pasta was my favorite part of the meal. That was delicious!

Horrendous behaviour from the head chef after we complained that our children’s food came out long after the adult food. Real shame as the manager and waiting staff were great.

A fine dining food experience in an luxurious place. The truffle pasta is excellent.

I love this place, and I don't love many. Even an out-of-it server can barely ruin it. It is a combination of elegance in atmosphere and food choice (it is really French) and an auto show of luxury autos, brought to you by the rich folks who use the shopping center valet service. Rolls, Bentley, Ferrari, even an occasional Lambo, they are all there. And for all the fancy stuff, prices can be most reasonable. Don't be intimidated by the location, it is a genuine Florida treat. And one doesn't need to use the valet. Parking behind the mall is not inconvenient, and is reasonable.

Great place to relax over a coffee and a burger.
