My jam! My small town hidden gem! Went again today Sept 23, 2024 and same great experience!

Fabulous; a must try when in Punta Gorda. We sat at the bar and Chuck was the bar tender, he was very attentive and made great drinks. The food was delicious, I had the fried chicken and my wife had the steak and fries salad. Both were amazing. Leroy’s has something for everyone. Given them a try, you will be glad you did.

Tossing 4.7 ⭐️. Wife and I came specifically for salad. Not because they have amazing salad options but they did have unique ones and I'm really encouraging my wife to have more healthy choices. I had the Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese salad with Blacked Chicken - You better shut up!!!! I don't like beets but took a chance and I'm glad I did. Three roasted beets tasted nothing like beets. The blackened chicken was tender, moist and really good. The roasted shallot dressing was amazing and I had to ask for more. My wife had the Spinach Citrus salad with Blackened Chicken and that one was very refreshing and was well put together. This place is known for their banana pudding so we'll be coming back to try that and other 'not so healthy' options 👍🏽😁. By the way, the service was great.

We stopped in to this excellent local type place. the seafood gumbo and the press burger. the pork belly buns appetizer all excellent. the bartender was awesome. made the place fun and we will be returning.

Today, I had the crab egg roll and the fried egg hamburger. Both outstanding. There is a lot of food between the two dishes. Maleah was my waitress. Very pleasant, had great recommendations, and very attentive. Thank you for a great meal.

Service sucked. Food was not worth 23 dollars for a chicken caeser or cajun burger.

Catfish dinner consisted of just fish and fries with tea, where was the hush puppies and Cole slaw or baked beans. Expensive for what was presented.

Great place for dinner! Had the largest steak they offer. So tender and delicious 😋 Service was amazing. We will be back!

This place is really nice . I like the new orleans old school vibe with the live music . They played every genre if music country ,Blues, Everything. American Jones was the live band . My wife ordered the crab roll and I had the whole fried chicken which was so much . We had the Mac cheese , collards , mash and gravy. I went when they only had about 30mins to close and the food was still fresh and good . The waitress Kelsey was so great 👍 We had the huckleberry lemonade also another cocktail too and they were both so good . Couldn't even taste the alchol in the huckleberry berry but I felt it lol so be careful or not lol. Definitely will eat here everytime I'm down here for work or visiting. Thank you to the wonderful Staff for taking care of us and making our dinner experience great we really needed it . Next time I'm going to try the oxtail and roasted bone marrow .

Husband and I stopped in for lunch, and they blew us away again! All the food was so delicious! The bartender took great care of us, made me a perfect Paloma. I had sides and my husband had the fried egg burger. We were so impressed with the flavors of the food, the prompt and friendly service, and the overall atmosphere of this place! Mac and chz was so good!

Great place, full of locals. The lunch specials are a great value. Meatloaf is good, so is the pork sandwich.

Ask for Stax! He made the experience AMAZING! The food, service and atmosphere are phenomenal! We loved the deviled eggs and the blackened shrimp Po’Boy sandwich hit the spot! Stax was real and had high energy keeping the vibe light and the food recommended was so right! We will definitely be coming from Naples to visit again, thank you for a great lunch.

Food was so good and the service was excellent. The waitstaff’s worked very hard (quick and friendly) to make the experience superb.

Nice atmosphere and service, but the food is not worth the money.

Spicy krab roll was bomb. Bartender Chris was a really cool dude, fun time overall. Only thing I didn’t love was the prices seemed to be a tad over market value for most things on the menu, compared to other establishments. Will be back

Rachel was an excellent waitress. Tea served in a wide-mouth jar. Bbq pork sandwich was very good; pork piled high. Loved the old Florida decor. Would definitely go again.

Old florida feel with amazing food

Loved the menu (pictures and descriptions). Seafood gumbo was outstanding. Orange blossom beer and coconut chocolate porter were delicious. Nevermind burger was ok.

Just stumbled upon this place on a Sunday afternoon, great Southern music with Zach Regan, great vibe/atmosphere, and highly satisfying food.

best food in punta gorda for sure. the steak and eggs on the breakfast menu is actually maybe one of my top 5 steaks I've ever had (i eat a lot of steak). you can also tell that the eggs are high quality by the rich flavor. they even have good orange juice. the smashed burger is also one of thr best burgers out there. please never sacrifice this quality like most restaurants end up doing.

Loved the Brunch of Shrimp & Grits w/eggs as it was the BOMB! They had a really good singer/music for entertainment & ambience is really relaxing & good vibes:)

I've never had a single night out here and found something on the menu I didn't like. It's all delicious, proper southern comfort food, with a few dishes that add a little modern twist. Drink menu is extensive too, and there's something for everybody. Lastly, never had a bad experience with service either. Always on top of it and super friendly. Definitely recommended.

Leroy's catered a wedding for us this year, who even knew they did this? Well they do and their wedding food was AMAZING. Best wedding buffet anyone has ever had. Raving reviews all night long. Lee is a super cool guy, down to earth and helpful. When he says he's got it and will have everything you need for the buffet and bar, he means business! Excited to have met him and have his business as a future contact for more catering!

Our waitress and the manager were extremely attentive and courteous. Wonderful experience and would certainly recommend!

Good vibes no matter what time of the day

First time was the last time. Food was way over priced and way under cooked. I ordered a burger medium and daughter order a burger medium well. Took a bite out of burger and it was rare. Daughters was less cooked than mine. Fries were luke warm at best. On the other hand wife did like the meatloaf and other daughter liked the salad.

Leroy's is the best down home cooking restaurant anywhere. They have very creative choices. Every thing I've ever had has been delicious. You can even stop in for a quick lunch or hang out and enjoy the terrific atmosphere. You have to stop in for a Bloody Mary too. So good!

This is a really awesome place to visit. Food was fantastic. I had the burger with goat cheese and tomato marmalade. Never had anything like it and it did not disappoint. Our party had a bloody Mary and said it was really great and almost too pretty to drink

Fantastic food and fantastic service in a great casual family environment. We had the fried shrimp and oyster with pork belly po boys. The black eyed peas were AMAZINIG! Best I have ever had. Can not wait to get back and try the shrimp and grits and other soulful delights,, maybe next weekend'!!! 😊

Great food for my first time and the live band was amazing. Definitely get the brussel sprouts on your next visit.

The food was ok but they wouldn’t even give us a menu. They wanted to force use to use their app. Then the waiter was so loud and intrusive it really pissed me off. He would walk up to the table and talk loudly over me every time. The last time he I did it I kept raising my voice because I hate being interrupted AND HE RAISED HIS VOICE!

My daughter treated me to an early Mother's Day lunch. It was our first time at Leroys aa she is new to Punta Gorda. We had the burger with the coffee sauce and it was the best taste and I don't even like coffee. The fried green tomatoes were delish as was the banana pudding for dessert. Our waitperson was very friendly, efficient, and helped us decide our choices. We will return again. Loved the atmosphere and food.

This is a hidden gem. Do not be fooled by the outside. Went there for steak but decided to try oxtail for the first time. It was fantastic. The table also had fried chicken and filets. All exceptional. Our server was Stax and super engaging.

Great food, service, and music. We had the bone marrow for an appetizer which was great and it was my first time having it! Fried chicken and waffles were delicious and so were the buffalo bone in chicken wings!

Super impressed!! The food was so flavorful! They have an expansive selection of local draft beer, delicious options, a really cool menu that was on a tablet but still felt old school somehow?! It was awesome. I got an order of sides and my husband got the chicken and waffles. The black beans and collards were actually to die for! We were both very pleased with our food and service from Chuck at the bar. He was friendly and engaging, offered us samples of draft beer so we could order what we loved. We will definitely be back and tell our friends to visit as well!

Very nice place to go for Southern Food, being from Georgia it brings back memories of good food.

We visited for brunch on a Sunday and when we went to put our name in the hostess literally shouted at us and cut us off mid-sentence screaming that she needed to seat people first. Wow, what a welcome. After waiting a half hour we sat down and it was clear the wait staff was totally overwhelmed by the full restaurant. Not sure if they were having staffing issues or what but I don't blame the staff. The good news was the food was good, hopefully they can correct staffing issues to handle what I'd guess is a normal crowd on a Sunday in season.

The waiter was excellent.The wings were awesome, tasted.Great great flavor and the banana pudding was also five stars

Great BBQ sandwich, amazing deviled eggs with candied bacon. My friend had the meatloaf and it was really good as well. Service was too notch.

We had a party of 10 and despite being busy we got a table immediately. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was great. The live band playing the blues was fantastic. The kids thought it was too loud but who cares what kids think. I had the New York strip with corn bread and Mac n cheese. It was delicious. My wife had the meatloaf which was also delicious. Our part of the bill for two adults and two teens was $120. Little expensive but that's anywhere these days. Over all I highly recommend Leroy's!

Finally got around to coming here thanks to another place not sticking to their advertised hours of operation. Oh well, their loss is Leroy's gain! This place was truly IT for us. The food was great, service was on point and the ambiance was perfect. Definitely a place we will be coming back to! While the lunch menu was a bit limited looking thru the entire menu left us wanting to return sooner rather than later. Everything here was good, both lunch dishes and the drinks! One of the few places that makes a great Old Fashioned. Props to the bartender and the entire staff! Keep doing what your doing!

Took my mother here for lunch, and we really enjoyed it. Our server was great. He was very upbeat and attentive. I ordered the steak and fries salad because I was intrigued, and I was not disappointed. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly, and the fries on top were a nice touch. My mother had the local catch, which was Mahi. The fried green tomatoes are why I come here, soo good, you must try them. Overall good portions for the price.

Leroy's has been a staple for many years here now. Don't expect to walk in and sit down immediately, in season. This place is PACKED during prime hours. Get a smokey old fashioned... sit outside and people watch while you wait for a table. The food has always been great.... burgers, pulled pork, fried chicken, bone marrow. We even had a blackened snapper one visit that was delicious.... and I'm picky with my fish from restaurants since I catch my own and cook them fresh! Great live music here some nights as well. Definitely stop in if you haven't already!

This place was the BOMB!! From the extensive southern menu dishes, the atmosphere, the service and the food, everything was perfect. We sat outside in their nice outdoor space and our server Staxx gave us some great food recommendations. We had a jumbalaya, gumbo and fried oyster and pork Po'boy. 100% Recommended this place!!

I ordered the fried chicken and it was left in the fryer until the crust tasted burnt the wings were almost inedible and the mashed potatoes and gravy were very salty the only ok part were the collared greens. I wouldn't recommend this, it is way over priced for the quality.

Loved the live music and Fun energy in this local establishment. The BBQ pork nachos were incredible! Will definitely stop back if we are ever in the area again. We were just passing through on this Thursday evening and fortunately were able to walk right in at 8:15 pm.

Crab cakes were not great and too expensive. Dinner bill was $120 for two entrees and 4 glasses of wine. Live music stopped all conversation and had to shout out order to waitress. Not impressed with this place.

Great little place in a good location. I had the fried chicken and mashed potatoes. A great tasting dinner. The chicken was juicy and the potatoes great. House salad was good because of the dressing. The deviled eggs were good as well. My server was Katie. She had a great attitude and had a smile every time she came to my table. Thank you.

There is no soul in this soul food. I do not believe Leroy is from the South because this food gives Southern food a bad name. $80 delivery. No utensils. No condiments. even though requested. fried chicken was soggy. Tasted absolutely awful. Baked mac and cheese was not baked. Kraft mac n cheese in a box is better. Awful. Would never eat here again or recommend.

This place is absolutely a MUST if you're in the area. Great food, fun atmosphere. Chuck was so attentive and he is the perfect example of southern hospitality. Pictured shrimp and grits, fried chicken with mashed potatoes and greens. Not pictured, the fried green tomatoes. Because we ate them all! We were just leaving after dinner and they were starting live music. The local regulars were friendly and it was a great time. I hope to visit again. It's a down town area, plan on parking and walking a few feet to get in! It is worth it!

This is an absolute "go to" when we are in the area. The food is outstanding and the portions are generous. Parking is ample and convenient.

Could not decide between the Shrimp and Grits or the Cajun Pasta, so my wife and I shared both. Our friend ordered the chicken and waffles. Everything was sooooo good. Loved the stone-ground grits and the Tasso gravy. And the service was great too!

This time, the food was "eh". We've eaten there lots before, so it must've just been an off day. Only 1 girl doing hostesses and waiting tables for a while so they must've been short staffed. No big deal, we'll be back.

While on vacation with my 12 year old daughter we stopped in for lunch. We are both extremely picky eaters but thought this menu sounded doable. Well it was beyond doable. It was absolutely delicious. Service was above and beyond fantastic. Our server, Staxx, was so fun and friendly. Would gladly eat here again.
