Placed a call to order . A woman answered the phone and proceeded to take my order . I was hung up on after placing order and asking for the total . Figured it was an accident , called back several times no answer. Went to Lindy's to pick up what I ordered only to be told , with an attitude by a man , that noone told him about the order and he wasn't going to make it unless I called it in ..... I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The food 2 piece dark gave me a serious colon cleanse 😩

The food was amazing.There was no where you could not find sauce on the wings,And good prices for such good food.The gizzards are soft not chewy and melts in your mouth.Definitely will be going back

Placed a call in. The lady with the twists took my call. She stated it would be 10-15 mins. I sat there waiting over 25 minutes. Asked where my food was. She talking about oh the cook must have forgot. Meanwhile she’s playing on her phone. Doesn’t write any orders down from call ins. In don’t know where the guy & lady that are normally there were. But I will not be going back. The girl behind the counter was rude & loud when I complained about my time being wasted waiting on food called in 35 minutes earlier. She just cost that place a regular customer.

Just a little too hard..but was Lindy's flavor. 04/26/24..Need cook...needs to be retrained.

The chicken is out of this world! I love both the chicken breast box and the Tenders box they have the best mashed potatoes and Gravy. The Gravy is chicken gravy yummy. You can't get better than Lindy's! We use to have 5 locations but after COVID we only have 1 or maybe 2 lol. It's a must try in this area!

I ordered a pint of livers, cooked "light and soft" and a breast to go from lindy's at Midway today and when I got home, I found that both items were so friggin' overcooed that they were burnt!!! It all tasted horrible unless you like eating charcoal briquettes!!! It's so disturbing that no one can get any good food anymore, whether they dine in or get it to go!!? Sadly, no one gives a damn!!! Lindy's will never be on my restaurant to go list ever again!!! How pathetic our work force has become!!! If you hate your job souch, hey the hell out of there and find something else to do!!!

Lindy's Chicken, a spot that used to be my favorite in Tallahassee. While I miss their Orange Ave location dearly, my experience at the Midway location was somewhat positive. Despite the delicious taste of the chicken, I found myself frustrated by the excessive wait times and the underwhelming portion sizes. The chicken wings resembled quail legs in size, and my side of fried okra consisted of only 6-8 pieces, which left much to be desired. However, amidst these disappointments, I must commend the young man working the counter. Despite being overwhelmed, he remained patient and provided impeccable customer service, which significantly improved my overall impression of the visit. While Lindy's Chicken may have room for improvement in terms of wait times and portion sizes, the exceptional customer service demonstrated by their staff is undoubtedly noteworthy.

I hadn’t been here in about a year. The food was not as good as in the past.

Overall the quality of customer service and the food (preparation/cooking) is good! But, sometimes when I order the french fries, the fries aren't cooked well-done/crispy - it's as if the fries were microwaved cooked, which isn't good at all. Again, overall it's a really good restaurant to get something to eat.

Drove 12 hours and arrived just before closing. Drive thru only as they were about to close. Food very good and service top notch. Recommend sides too.

The pork chops were not cooked long enough they were tough and my biscuit was raggery and crummy

Ordered Fried pork chop dinner. The entire meal was awful. I ordered 2 sides (pork & beans & mash potatoes). Beans were watered down NO FLAVOR. The mashed potatoes look like imitation potatoes with yellow pee gravy. The best part was the pork chop. However I came out better eating deer knuckles.

No stars. Quite possibly the worst stuff (won't call it food) i ever attempted to eat in my life. And i paid them to get it. Worse than jail food. Ended up throwing it away. Charged it to the game. Should have known based off the location, look of the lobby and 2 young Americans serving "food" unsupervised. Never. Ever ever. 4 ever ever. Again. 🤬👎🤦

Fried chicken is good pork chop sandwiches good what the place is just so dirty and nasty I was recommended by a friend to have lunch here like I said the food is okay maybe even better than average but I believe they could clean the place up Just my opinion

I ordered fried chicken and fried gizzard around 11 am. Gizzard was light color. The chicken was dark color outside and breast were very dry. I have never experienced this dark fried chicken in Lindy's. If both gizzard and chicken were dark color, I understand. But one is light color and another is dark? That does not make any sense. You know what I am talking about? Not going there AGAIN.

Overcooked in old grease gives chicken a burnt taste...this is second time out of three that this has happened...I won't be back to spend my $50 for 4 sandwiches, gizzards and kids meal. Just ruins all the good memories I have of Lindy's.

Looked on the line to order then went to order in person from the motel next store. Wanted two chicken specials. The were supposed to come with a biscuit, mashed potatoes & Cole slaw. We wanted one extra 1 extra cole slaw. When getting back to our motel to eat we found no biscuit, no mashed potatoes and we each had 2 Cole Slaws. Went back and asked for the mash & biscuit and they didn’t have any. Did not tell us they were out of the sides. The place was also not clean. Could be a good place if the stepped up and told customers the truth and cleaned up the place. They also need to do a update on their online info.

This is a terrible place to eat very disgusting and unclean. If the lobby is dirty I'm pretty sure that the kitchen is even dirtier the food was refried the wings taste very chewy definitely will never be going here again

Ordered from this establishment on Tuesday around noon and I didn’t have the best experience. We ordered a pint of liver and gizzards, 10 pc Gold Rush wings and fried okra, fries and chicken tenders. 2/5- The liver and gizzards was not pleasant at all. The little I did eat was soft and tasted like old grease 3/5: Wings- 8 of the 10 wings were fine but there were 2 that were burnt with no sauce at the bottom of the plate. 4/5: Chicken tenders meal was fine. I would recommend if you are fine with the following: The major issue was that while the place definitely wasn’t as presentable as i would expect it to look, the lack of cleanliness witnessed while waiting on a to go order I had placed 20 minutes prior that still was not ready when I arrived, blew me. I patiently waited and was glad I did because I will never eat at this establishment again. The lady at the register who was very nice I may add, was witnessed sneezing in her hands/arms and did not wash her hands afterwards 🤯. She proceeded to start scooping Coleslaw with her unwashed dirty hands. I was immediately disgusted and contemplated walking out. I’m so glad I did not get coleslaw but, couldn’t even eat my food fully thinking about the other unsanitary practices that could have occurred with my food out of my presence. Very disappointed and I really hope that the owner(s) enforce a cleaner environment. No gloves or hairnets were worn by anyone working with the food. Very disappointed in this facility and for what seems To be a black owned business, I really hope that immediate improvements are made.

Best chicken sandwich I've ever had

Great food at a great price. Their tenders are the largest around. They have fried and roasted chicken, exceptional fries, and more. Can be busy at times but it's worth it.

I saw good reviews and was recommended by hotel. I got fried gizzards and okra. The okra was ok, though a bit bland. The gizzards were terrible, bland and chewy with a strange taste. I only ate a couple and had to give up. Maybe I was unlucky and hit it on an off night, but I cannot recommend this place based on my one experience.

The 3 stars are directed towards the upper management for being out of important Menu item consistently. The item they seem to be out of everytime I call, drop by, drive to, meet someone there, etc. is Gizzards. More importantly, "Steamed Gizzards". This could easily work its way from a Critique to an advertisement due to the fact that these "Steamed Gizzards" could be added as 1 of the 7(8) deadly sins and at the same time be considered the "9th" Wonder of the World. Either way they're easily one of the Greatest Inventions of the last 3 generations in my Book. Which should help explain why I'm leaving this Bipolar review. It's not that I'm indecisive or upset it's more like a call for help. Although I may be disgruntled by my numerous interstate and intrastate trips to any of the 5 locations I'm familiar with, I will continue to make those trips without fail. Please beef up the Gizzard order??

Bought a 50 piece wing with fries...got the hot flavor and the Carolina Bold...was very delicious!!!

Think was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. That fried chicken was everything. You have to try it whenever you are in quincy or Tallahassee!!!!

I was visiting in Tallahassee for a couple of days and I was staying in hotel right next door to Lindy's restaurant. The food is really good. I ordered a 5 piece chicken tender and a large okra. And Lindy's staff is really nice thank y'all.

Food was delicious and freshly cooked.

Nice and crispy! We got lucky trying this place on a road trip. You know it's gonna be good when the drive through is full, and there are a couple of timers that smell boozey in line... Oh and it's right next to a liquor store. The chicken isn't breast just crispy and it's quality chicken! Got a whole chicken with two side pints and biscuits for $22 worth every penny!

Wow, fantastic chicken! A quarter dark was fresh out of the fryer, hot and delicious. I got french fries and cole slaw with a biscuit too. So good, though cole slaw portion was small. My special treat was fried gizzards, the first one had in a long time. A little hot sauce and they were good to go! I'm going to look for opportunities to seeing in here again.

Fantastic family cooking. The wings are incredibly small and we're overcooked one of the times that I went in, however the first time that I went in I accidentally ordered a chicken wing. Needing a chicken wing, not like a hot wing or a barbecue wing but natural chicken wing and it was probably the best chicken wing that I have ever had. Go for their actual chicken, not the stuff that you would get somewhere else.

Traveling out of state, stopped for lunch on a whim. Very glad we did. The 1/4 light was delicious, crust is crispy and the meat cooked all the way (I hate good looking fried chicken that's undercooked). There are a few tables for dining in but most of the business seemed to be carry out. The bathrooms were clean. We will try to remember the exit so we can stop again.

Stayed at the hotel next door. Had the wings with Carolina sauce. Yes ma’am. It was good. If your at the country inn and suites walk over and have a few wings.
