This is the Restaurant that you will love, if you want fresh good food and excellent service. The owners are like family, I have lived in Okeechobee for over 10 years and never had a problem there. Love, love this place. Enjoy

There were 15 us there for my aunt's 75th birthday party. The food was yummy and great. The service was AMAZING as we had only ONE waitress, Destiny, who did an excellent job of keeping our cups full and bringing out our food by herself. We will definitely return, and we'll be asking for Destiny to serve us again! The only negative was it was SO loud in there that it was hard to hear the person across the table from you.

I personally didn’t care for the food here. Atmosphere and service was good. They have good reviews, so people like it. Maybe it was the meal I had wasn’t good?

Love the Mexican dinner with chunky beef. They have the best tomato sauce.

Everything is made fresh to order. The help is nice and the service is good. I love their wet dinner which is two wet burritos (I prefer chicken, but chunky beef is good too) with rice and refried beans. It's a good price for the meal and I like to eat there. It's one of my favorite restaurants.

They were so rude. They did not even acknowledge that we were there other than to tell us we can sit wherever we wanted. After sitting for a long time without anyone coming by, we decided to leave and all the staff did was watch us walk out, still not acknowledging us. So we decided to try RIO BRAVO and I'm happy we didn't waste our money here because RIO BRAVO was sooooo good, we loved it!

Might as well go to Taco Bell. Food is just as poorly made and they might not forget CHICKEN in the CHICKEN quesadilla . Chips and warm salsa 🤢 yuck . The chips are the bagged round tostitos even.. I want REAL fried tortillas please . Authentic.. not!

Always, Exceptional. Los Cocos is A+++ all the way around. Love 👍 ❤️ it. My wife has been going to Los Cocos for the past 32 years. Never a bad experience. She introduced me 20 years ago. Been going ever since. We don't mind the hour drive. Well worth it.

The steak in burrito was as big as the burrito. Would’ve tasted better if the pieces were smaller.

They do not give you chips and salsa before your meal. You have to pay for them. Usually at the greater number of restaurants they bring you chips immediately... No charge. Salsa was almost like pizza sauce. I will not return. They need to step up their service to be in competition with the surrounding Spanish restaurants.

Worst service ever experienced. You’ll sit for nearly 20 minutes without being helped sadly. There too many other Mexican restaurants with far better service.

Tried this place for the 1st time. Fajitas were greasy and absolutely no seasoning at all. Flour tortillas were hard and a bit burnt. The salsa was nothing more than pureed tomatoes and again no seasoning plus heated up??. The help were fine but would never eat there again.

Nachos Supreme X2 and it was very 👍 good. Our order was placed at the takeout window and we were told it would be up in less than 10 minutes. From the view of the inside I didn't think it possible. Place was packed. In approximately 5 minutes we were on our way. Nachos were 😋 delicious, the service at the window was excellent, and the price was very fair. Good experience all around. I’ve lived in Okeechobee most of my life and love the food but today when I ordered our dinner over the phone the employee was not nice. Spoke to me in a belittling way and like I was inconveniencing her with my order. Today, I’m very disappointed with the service from this restaurant.

Food was delicious, staff was friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant was clean. Prices were fair. I'll be back if I'm in the area!

Had to come to Okeechobee for an errand and was told to eat at Los Cocos, by a couple of locals. I will literally go out of my way to come here whenever I’m craving Tex Mex from now on!!! The salsa was so good that we bought a pint to take home. I am leery of ground beef because it usually ends in me biting down on a piece of cartilage, and then I’m DONE. The ground beef in the wet burrito had none of the grit and was seasoned so deliciously that I saved my rice and beans to take home so I could eat more burrito! Portions are gigantic. You will not finish one of their dinners. Prices are more than fair. We will absolutely be back again, and again, and again!

There’s no doubt that this is a phenomenal restaurant. The quality of the food has remained consistent over many years. It’s the Mexican Restaurant of my dreams. I just wish it was in every town I go to! My favorite is the wet burrito plate with refried beans and rice. They also bring out chips and dip before serving the meal. A very nice place to eat. I often leave with a box to go. They give you plenty to eat, that’s for sure!

It was ok I had the fajitas they charged you for chips and salsa I've never been to a Mexican restaurant that did that.The salsa tasted almost like spaghetti sauce I didn't really care for it.They didn't have margaritas either.I probably wouldn't go back.

Ordered taco lunch and it was $8 and change and you got 1 yes that's right 1 taco and then some rice and beans. So got done total bill was over $10 highway robbery. Also stop using a microwave to reheat your food it was very dry and flavorless meat.

Food did not taste authentic. Sauce on burrito and salsa for nachos was not as it use to be tasted like a marinara/ tomato sauce. Would not revisit. Not as great as it was years ago tasted more authentic. Very disappointed was expecting food as it was years ago.

Had to stop in & try it, and I was happy we did!! Didn’t much care for the salsa they use, but the fajita quesadillas were awesome! All 4 of us enjoyed our meals very much. Clean plates! Good food and good service in a primitive atmosphere

Really liked the fact that Los Cocos cares for their customers during this pandemic by the staff wearing masks, having seating tables widely spaced, and asking customers to wear masks. Lunch was great too! Everything was fresh and staff very friendly. We will be back!

SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF AND THE VERY BEST FOOD IN TOWN!

Comfortable older style dining. Limited seating plenty of parking. Just 100’ off the f route 70. Not a fan of the chips and salsa which is served heated (warm not hot) mild or spicy seasoned. The hard shell tacos are the best I have ever had they were super light, and crunchy, my sense is they are made there. I also had the soft taco but next time only hard shell will make it to my plate. I love this place.. I have been coming here for 12 years and I will continue to come here for as long as I can. The Food is awesome, always hot and the service is always great. The place is busy all the time. I come from West Palm Beach and I know people that come from West Palm Beach and Port St Lucie. I look forward to the next time that I go there to eat lunch or dinner again. Love this Place!!!😊
