We where down in Ocala area saw this on. Google went and tried it. It was great. Wish they had one of these in Jacksonville Florida. We loved it.

Great food, great service! We got the Magueyes fajitas, delicious! We highly recommend this place. Food was ready in 15 minutes!

The food is very flavorful. And the portions are plentiful. I had the White Enchiladas, very delicious. My spouse had Enchilada Supreme and he said they were some of the best we have had. This happened to be our second time here. Our first time was a year or two ago and we remembered that the food and service here was A+. The restaurant itself was nice and clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. I highly recommend.

Service is very unfriendly with no social skills. There was no willingness to listen to what we wanted to order, make sure it’s spelled out on menu. One dinner was served but had to wait on second order, which was served incorrectly without cheese sauce. Beef tasted burnt, not good. Siverware bent and plates chipped…just not going back and cannot recommend…

Great Mexican food with lots of choices, great service, reasonably priced, and fun atmosphere! I highly recommend eating here!

Enjoyed wonderful delicious Mexican food with my wife and another couple. Excellent service! Mariachi singers were professional and very entertaining. Beautiful musicians with great harmony together. We all had a blast! Highly recommend Thursdays with the added entertainment provided. Beautiful atmosphere with Mexican decor. Kid friendly! Free parking! Handicapped accessible!

On May 23, 2024, we had the pleasure of returning to your fine restaurant for dinner. As usual the food was authentic, the service was very good, and the location conveniently located close to our home with plenty of free parking. Our greatest surprise came when we saw your four outstanding Mariachi singers entertain us. What a treat! We will be back Thursday, May 30th. The singers wore beautiful matching outfits and asked each party what song they might sing. Their voices in harmony soothed our souls! The command of each instrument was excellent. It had been a while since we had the pleasure of hearing such a wonderful performance of Mariachi music, and we enjoyed every minute of it! We are spreading the word to everyone that we know. Count on seeing us return on Thursdays as often as our budget will allow. God Bless Your Management for providing this uplifting experience.

I live in central FL for 6-7 months of the year. When we want Mexican food we go to Los Magueyes. It is as close as you can get to our southern neighbors best food. GO!

Good tex-mexican food. The quality of food has improved dramatically. One of the best mexican foods in the villages slash wildwood. Portions are above average for most mexican restaurants. Prices are fair for the food. Liquor prices are average. Service is good.

A group of us went there for Cinco de Mayo food was great service was excellent even with the restaurant being at full capacity food came out fast.

Beef burritos was cold to luke warm

We had a great experience here!! It was a busy Saturday evening, but our waiter didn't rush us and was very attentive. Our food was nothing short of amazing!! The rice bowl with chicken and the steak fajita burrito when both delicious!! We'll definitely eat here again the next time we are in Wildwood

This place is good, it was an enjoyable meal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great portion sizes and big menu. I don't know if I would recommend it as there are better Mexican restaurants nearby but if someone asked if I wanted to get together and eat here I would say yes. My only complaint was that I ordered fajitas, which was a huge portion, and it only came with 3 tortillas. Once I ate those 3 tortillas and still had food remaining I asked for more tortillas. The waiter brought me 3 more and I was able to fill 2 of them with the rest of the food I had. But when I got my bill I saw I was charged $1.99 for the 3 extra tortillas. This is the first time I've ever been charged for extra tortillas at a Mexican restaurant. I could understand if maybe I didn't eat them or asked in advance, but I ate them and needed them to finish the food I ordered.

This is the authentic Mexican restaurant we have been searching for since we moved here. The food was real Mexican cuisine tasting fantastic with fast friendly service and a real authentic atmosphere. Very fair pricing as well.

I really enjoyed the food here. Alot for your money. The menu has many choices. I think if you have any dietary restrictions you could definitely find something to eat here for sure. So many options to choose from. What I really loved about this place is the atmosphere. The details of the chairs, tables, walls and booths are gorgeous. Bright beautiful images encase the place bringing a feeling of being in an authentic Mexican restaurant. Recommend visiting here. One of the best places I've visited for Mexican food. Service was exceptional. The margaritas are so so good.

Has been a great restaurant up until tonight. My son in law just went in to get chips and cheese dip and was charged twice. He paid the first time and then asked for a drink and then they came out with a new ticket that had the same cheese dip and chips with a drink. He said he already paid and the guy said he didn’t pay my son in law pulled out his change from where he paid and they said we will call the cops if you don’t pay. Not wanting to waste any more time he just paid again. He paid nearly $80 for chips dip and a drink.

I love getting the Molcajete cus it has all kinds of different meats in 1 bowl and taste so good but I've noticed lately that the bowl/lava bowl is shallow and not deep anymore but the price is still $20.99 😢 please bring back the deeper lava rock bowls or just lower your price on this bowl. Thank you

Best Mexican food EVER! OMG, DELICIOUS! So much food. The salsa and, of course, queso..... I couldn't stop eating. The. Best. I. Have. Ever. Had. Asked my husband to just order two plates with his meal. I was already stuffed. He didn't look enthusiastic about sharing. Until the mountain of food came out. It was a MOUNTAIN of the best food EVER! Shrimp, pork, beef, a cactus, green peppers, and a big fat jalapeno. I've always wanted to try a cactus. DELICIOUS.

This place has fallen off. The meat doesn't have much flavor anymore. The staff are good but they need to bring back the flavor.

Stopped by for lunch. I had the Speedy Gonzalas and Margarita. The tables, chairs and decorations in this place are outstanding.

Love this place. Great atmosphere. Larger than it looks. Food is great. Huge portions. Stay on the lunch menu for perfect sizes. If you get a dinner plate for lunch, you will need a siesta in about an hour.

Taco soggy in the bottom side. Ground beef no flavor, Beef burrito looks like an enchilada which tasted bland, and the refried beans are a joke. Looks like they mixed with red sauce. Chile rellano definitely no taste of Mexico.

We have eaten at this restaurant multiple times and as usual the food was delicious. Our party had Carnitas, a Super burrito, enchiladas, fajitas and Vallarta pollo con crema all of which we highly recommend. The wait to be seated was short but Dinner service was slow. There is plenty of parking.

Stopped here on the way back north to Gainesville as I was in the mood for something much better than the highway fast food junk . Great friendly staffed, well decorated Mexican restaurant with complementary chips and salsa . The fajitas and margaritas tasted great !

Great Mexican food and atmosphere

For the wife and I, this is our favorite place. We can count restaurants we have gone to more than once on one hand here in this area. There are two dishes I jump back and forth on, the first is the shredded beef Chimichangas the second is the Tacos Carne Asada. Either with two of their homemade Tamales. The wife gets the Bistec Vallarta... Every time. I guess when you love something you stay with it. We go once a month. We have for the last 8 years. We have had many of the servers several times and even though we know them by sight, we like to think they remember us as well. They probably do because I specialize my order with their real hot sauce for the chips, lime and cilantro with my Carne Tacos and shredded cheese on the side. We are going tonight... So maybe you will see us there. We ride the motorcycle up there and usually sit in the same spot each time. Get this food if you can....

I used to own a Mex. Restaurant. I recently moved here & of the 3 I have tried, this one was the best. Casa Agave a good second. Mi Ranchito, no way.

I was impressed with this small establishment! It's very cool looking inside with beautiful Mexican decor. The food was delicious, and the customer service was awesome! My husband had the chicken, onion, and cheese quesadilla, and I had the white queso enchiladas (chicken & shredded beef). Super Yummy! 😋

The food service and atmosphere were excellent for an authentic Mexican experience. Our server was warm and friendly, attentive and brought out hotter sauce for my husband. The food came in an appropriate amount of time, was hot delicious and nice sized portions. The margaritas were awesome. Don’t be thrown off by the strip mall appearance. The inside is just charming! We will be back when in town again.

We have had lunch here on two separate occasions a week apart and both were wonderful. The food is made fresh so expect a short wait after ordering but you will receive a bowl of warm tortilla chips and mild salsa to hold you over. The service is very good and attentive as it’s the food. I have tried the tacos, all three flavors and the lunch fajitas. It is very popular with a working man. The restaurant is beautifully finished in hand-painted art. We look forward to returning.

Not the best Mexican restaurant around. Pico de Gallo tomatoes had turned bad, chicken fajitas were almost tasteless and the dinner combo was smothered in red sauce, so neither the taco nor the quesadilla could be picked up.

The food was terrible. The bathroom dirty toilet was gross. Would not go back. The servers were nice, but that's not enough. I wouldn't try it again if it was free.

The only thing I liked here was the guacamole. The ground beef always tastes weird, kinda off. Don't think I'll try again.

Los Magueyes is an amazing place, and I want to give a big shoutout to chino and Donald! The entire team here is incredibly friendly and attentive. I first visited just two weeks ago, and I'm already here for the third time. I absolutely love it!!!

First time here, the food came out on very hot plates so be careful touching the plate. Loved the decor and great prices.

The food is a solid 2.5/5, when it comes out within 5 minutes of ordering, dry, overcooked to where you see the edge of your beans on the dish warped into the dish it self, that's never a good sign. The steak "slices" on your tacos are more like ground beef, and even taste like that with how overcooked and dry they were. So why 3/5? They're extremely friendly, food isn't overly priced and rather on the cheaper side. It's some what clean until you enter the bathroom, which was a bit run down and didn't replace the paper towels in the dispenser. Just left a massive roll on the counter, but that's better than nothing. Looking for something better than Taco bell? Definitely this place, looking for a satisfactory mind blowing Mexican dish? Not here unfortunately. Very family friendly though!

Best Mexican food I ever have I will recommend

The food was perfect. 👈 Delicious and full of flavor. As a non Hispanic person that has eaten at many Florida restaurants that claim to be Mexican. This one hits the top! Service was slow but that was okay. The Restaurant was themed nice and not over the top. Some dust in places but not that bad. The water tasted well and the wait staff was very nice and respectful.

Food is so delicious. Love this place.
