Fantastic fantastic ice cream shoppe! Vibe and atmosphere are on point. Friendly and happy customers and service. Melodie was our server and she was outstanding.

Only had the ice cream but servings very small for cost so expected exceptional flavors but ended dissapointed overall so will not be returning

Won’t be going back, my wife and I walk in and sat at a table. Waitress comes over and gives us a menu and says she’ll be back then she finally comes back. Ask us what she can get us to drink. We both just wanted water then she finally brings back the water. Tell us she’ll be right back. It was ice cream so we sat there waiting finally she comes back. We place our order again she tells us she’ll be right back never happened. We sat and watched 10 to 12 people walking in the door go through the ice cream line if you of them order their ice cream grab their ice cream paid for and sat down at tables while sitting there waiting eventually by somebody else tells us that , they’re making our order which was not true there for just a little bit longer to finally get frustrated and get up and leave with no service. Needless to say we will not be back. Staff was rude

What a fun surprise - $5 for a mini banana split! Two scoops is plenty! Great value.

Great ice cream parlor. The bonus is they also serve food. We haven't tried the food yet, but that is coming. They have regular specials and the food looks good. Fast service at the ice cream counter.

We were seated and forgotten. There were people all around us forgotten as well. The waitresses were just standing around talking. We just wanted ice cream so decided to just go to the counter and waited there. A girl was just standing there drinking from a cup. Another girl finally came up to us and waited on us. Took 20 minutes in an empty restaurant to get ice cream. They had plenty of help so have no idea why tables weren't being waited on. Nobody had food at thier tables. Ice cream was good but is just bluebell that you can get anywhere.

Ice cream was good. It was very crowded but service was still quick and accurate. Located on the square so it was easy to find a place to sit and enjoy.

We've had several meals at Scooples, Brownwood, and have had great food and excellent service. We like sitting at the counter so we can people-watch. The BEST is Miss Kara who is one if the very best servers and Managers. Thank you Miss Kara!!!

The only place I’d go for ice cream! Scooples is also the ultimate best spot for breakfast! Love the atmosphere, serve, and food!

We have been there 3 times in the last 3 weeks - I would rate each experience a 5. The staff is always attentive, friendly and efficient. We have had ice cream each time - and sandwiches on two of the visits. I particularly liked the rubin.

Nice cool treats while we watch the live entertainment across the street. Ice cream is pretty good. I actually prefer Kilwin's, but that's too far to travel some evenings.

This is our favorite restaurant in Brownwood Paddock Square! You have to try the peanut butter chocolate sundae.

Maybe. Looks like a good menu and probably is for most people. If you are gluten free you will have an issue as the staff does not know what GF means. Just so what the staff knows, if they read these reviews, is to not eat anything with Flour. It also means, rye, barley or wheat. As an FMK place, we (the 4 of us), were surprised that the Manager didn’t understand GF as they said that eggs are not gluten free. We all left as one of us has to follow the GF diet, no choice for her. As it would have been for breakfast/lunch, we could have worked it out as we always do with other restaurants, but we could not take a chance with staff that were not trained enough. So, no review of how the food actually tastes or on the service, on this post. Oh well, maybe another time.

Really disappointed. Stopped here for a scoop of chocolate ice cream on February (nice weather here in Florida) and waited in a long line. My scoop of ice cream was filled with ice crystals. It had the texture of ice cream that had melted and been refrozen at least once and maybe multiple times. I couldn’t eat it. I was so disappointed. Last night, I finished off some ice cream that had been buried in the bottom of my freezer for three months. It tasted far better than this stuff at Scooples.

Fun stop for ice cream after dinner, and then again for breakfast the next morning. Friendly staff and quick service

Scooples is in Brownwood in the Villages. It's on the town square. Their ice cream tastes great and they give huge quantities! We loved it!

Old Fashioned Ice Cream place. Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy Ice Cream (Blue Bunny) & it's pretty much the same thing. Wide variety of flavors, old fashioned counter with soda, root beer floats, or just regular drinks. Very good service, friendly, smiling staff. Try it! You will love it!

First time at Scopples. Very good service, not as many flavor varieties as Scoops in Ocala, but plenty to enjoy. Service quick, friendly, & smiling. Even have a 'dog size' & our Scottie loved it! Great place. We'll be back!

This is a lovely place to come and eat with plenty on offer. You can also takeaway if you wish. Does more than just ice cream but that's all we came for and it didn't disappoint. Really lovely ice cream and lots of flavours to choose from.

Would like to give them five stars, but hate when a place closes early and turns people away. We watched several people get denied service, and while it may have been close to 9, it was not 9!

Stopped for lunch and ice cream. Lunch was good (if you like pickles, the pickle was awesome and a nice bonus on the plate), but the ice cream was truly the star. Delicious flavors, huge sundaes and cones, and the whipped cream tasted like it was made fresh in-house. Espresso was good too. Service was engaging and accomodating.

Located at Brownwood Town Square so very good location when walking around the area on a hot day. Very popular & has plenty on seating inside. Golf cart parking & auto parking readily available.

My son has a dairy allergy and I was amazed over the taste of their sorbet. While on vacation we went to a couple other ice cream stores and this by far was my favorite. Very creamy vanilla ice cream and my son finished their strawberry sorbet. In laws shared their giant banana split! Definitely shareable!

Had breakfast here this morning with my wife and daughter. It wasn't busy, only a couple of tables outside and a couple inside. We were the fifth table and there were apparently three front of house staff. We were told to seat ourselves, so we sat at a booth, and the waitress/hostess came over with two menus...guess she didn't notice there were three of us. We sat for approximately five or six minutes until they figured out who was going to wait on us, and the person that gave us the menus took our drink order, but never brought our drinks to us. The server that wound up waiting on us came over and retook our drink order and we finally got our drinks. She then took our food order and we waited for about twenty minutes to get our food, watching as a table that came in after us got their order. My wife informed the server who said she'd check on the status of our order, and we finally got our food about ten minutes later. The food was edible, but not noteworthy in any way. The sausage patty that came on my plate was apparently a pre-cooked frozen patty that the kitchen just threw in the microwave to heat up. If the bacon were any thinner it would have only had one side, my wheat toast was cold and the scrambled eggs (apparently that's the only way you can get them according to the menu) were the pre-mixed liquid eggs and not actual whole eggs. They were watery and the water coming from my eggs soaked my cold toast. My wife and daughter's meals were not much better and frankly we would have been better off walking down the street to the Dunkin Donuts shop and having a much cheaper, and better, pre-processed breakfast there.

Clean, quick service....outstanding sundae!

Ice cream is great. Wish there were toppings like Reese pieces etc. and more special sundaes. The one girl we said a single scoop in a cup and she said "cone?" twice after repeatedly saying cup. Then my husband ordered a sundae with only chocolate and it came out with two flavors. They were friendly and fixed the mix up though.

I was looking fwd to eating my sundae from a bowl/ plate. It was served in a glass and that was okay! It was sooo delicious 🤤 we ordered the hot fudge and caramel sundaes! The customer service was amazing 🤩 and the place was clean which to be expected due to the location 😊 If you’re deciding, my suggestion is to visit and enjoy 😉

I just stopped in for ice cream. They have a very large selection of flavors to choose from. I choose moose tracks. It just hit the spot.

Every time we go to scooples, it is the same great experience, and the ice cream is very good. It is very nice to see so many high school students working and enjoying what they are doing. We will return.

I really can't rate the food but the ice cream was great. I also found it reasonably priced. The girl behind the counter was wonderful, sweet and friendly. Looking forward to going back.

Absolutely love bluebell ice cream. I had no clue this existed. Will be back! Oh and by the way, don't order a double scoop unless you want 6 scoops! When you order a single.. it is 3 scoops of ice cream! Huge portion!

Hand scooped ice cream with about 16 choices. I had coffee and pistachio ice cream. My other half had a multi-chocolate. And there was live music in the Village Square 🎶

It was good but the employees didn't seem very cheerful. It was a bit pricey to me but what isn't these days? It's in a high dollar area which keeps out the rift raft panhandler types

Nice breakfast place in Brownwood Square! I had a breakfast burrito and my wife eggs, bacon and toast plate. All were delicious and the service excellent! We've had there ice cream here before also delicious! A nice place with a local vibe! And the coffee is quite tasty!

We stopped in for some ice cream and coffee. Our waiter was courteous and prompt. The menu, a plethora of flavours and add-on choices. Very fun. We had a very short wait time though there were other customers being served inside and out on the patio. Great place for dessert.

Brought the grandkids for after dinner ice cream. We beat the crowd listening to the band outdoors . As we sat eating ours the line formed out the door. Perfect timing for us. It was 6:45 when we got there.

I had a very, very good malt chocolate shake at Scooples, and if I'm in that area again will be going back. The service was a little more rushed than I'd like, but I understand why (there was a concert across the road, and people were popping in pretty often to get food/ice cream).

Scooped Ice Cream Parlor is a great place for a meal and or a Cone or Sundae. The portions are huge and very tasty. Their prices are very reasonable especially for the service size. Customer service is prompt and very efficient. The restaurant is always clean. It was one of the first restaurant to open back up after the Covid-19’s.

Ice cream there is always amazing, but tonight, I tried "The Village Dog". Chili cheese dog with Cole Slaw. Two words.... DEE - LISH!!! Also, washed it down with a chocolate shake. Love this place!

Poor customer service, the young lady at the register seemed bothered with each customer. The manager was even more of a treat, instead of remaking a shake they missed up on they just scraped the top off and handed it back. If you enjoy below standard customer service and a staff that has no customer etiquette, this is your place!

The wife and I purchased sandwiches the evening of March 29th and the cost was $23.52 prior to a $4.00 tip. When I checked by account we were billed $29.52 so the server unilaterally put a $6.00 tip on our bill. Granted, this is only $2.00, but is this going on with other customers so that larger tips are unilaterally taken. Customers, you might want to keep an eye on this moving forward. There is a big difference between a 3 and a 9. Something doesn't smell right.
