We called before going to the place and they told us that there was service until 9, we arrived half an hour before the place and they told us no, that they could only sell us takeaway, very bad attention because we drove 40 minutes to get to this place so that they come out with that.

The meal takes around 40 minutes, the prices are high for the quality of the food. In certain dishes the plate is poorly proportioned and not to mention the high tip they charge you. I don't recommend it at all.

Que rico! Very large menu, and I want to go back soon to try more of their choices.

Everything was excellent and very delicious, I loved the corn arepa with super cheese, the staff was very friendly and attentive, the place was clean as well as the bathrooms, recommended

Good food but they charged me 20% tip without notifying me. I know that on the menu there is a note that says: "Tip will be charged for consumption over 80" but my bill was less than that.

Terrible service. The waiters do not pay adequate attention and bring you the food they want and after that they charge you double the tip. First and last time I visit this place.

**Update: because I can’t get enough of the most authentic Colombian food I’ve had in Colorado, I’ve continued to give this place a chance and I’m glad I have. The service has gotten a little better but not much but the food has continued to impress. Hopefully they are taking the reviews seriously and trying to improving the service. First let me say that my wife is Colombian and I have been to Colombia numerous times and the food here is up to par. Pros: The food is actually quite good. My wife had the steak and I had the empanadas. We both enjoyed the food but the catch is, you have to get it first... Cons: The service is pretty terrible. We were sat as soon as we walked in but waited about 10-15 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink. The restaurant had 2 other couples eating so it was very slow when we arrived. The food did come out fairly quick after we finally ordered and everything was hot and tasty. As we ate 2 other couples walked in and were never served. We watched them sit and then leave after about 10-15 minutes. When we got the bill we then realized why the service is probably so terrible. The servers have no reason to make an effort because a 15% gratuity is automatically added to the bill and they have the nerve to ask for more. For the 2 of us, me: 1 coke, order of empanadas. Wife: Steak, a side of rice and beans, an order of pantacones and a smoothie to drink and the bill was $92.00!!! I hope this restaurant learns from these reviews and turns things around. Would like to come back for the food but for the service and the price I will not be returning.

The suckling pig is very bad, its menu indicates that it is only available on Saturday and Sunday but once they delivered our order for the suckling pig our disappointment was very great since the rice and meat looked old and overheated; Additionally, leather was rubber, it could not be consumed. The observation was made to the waiter who served us and his response was "good" without trying to provide any solution to our disagreement. And finally, in the invoice issued, they charged us for the food that could not be consumed and a percentage of 15% mandatory tip called "Gratuity" which is not something that they inform from the beginning or that is reported in their menu about this extra cost.

Paying 90 dollars to not be able to eat a good plate, I ordered the lecho plate that should come with a piece of crunchy chicharon and what it brought was a piece of hard, inedible leather. Don't spend your money on this place.

The atmosphere was tense with these girls, making weird faces. Terrible service, slows, no attention, bad behavior, non sense. Food, I don't really know if this was good or not due to the terrible customer service which makes the whole time a kick. For the ownership of the restaurant please have employees that love what they do, that way you will get more customers happy and less complaints.

The food is delicious but they have very bad service and it is delayed. Since the tip is charged automatically they never come to see if you need anything. During the two hours we were here they only came once and we had to signal for them to bring us the bill. I saw other customers complaining about the place for other reasons ☹️ and it's not cheap

Terrible service and they charge it in advance... it is a lack of respect for customers to charge in advance and the fact that the service is bad makes the situation even worse.

It was the first time we visited this place, we really liked everything, very clean except the bathroom. The service was very good but very slowly the waitresses asked for my order before ordering the drink or something as a starter… it took about 20 minutes to bring a Colombian soda and another drink which I understand takes time to prepare some things and details but nothing important if you are patient I will return to this place with more family members

I think that the quality of the product and the service should go hand in hand and in this place the product is good but the service from the waitress BRENDA is unpleasant and as a consumer I think that this is due to the fact that they charge you the mandatory tip after of a consumption of $80 D then since there is a sure tip, there is no pleasant service

Terrible experience, they make you wait for the table for approximately 15 minutes outside the premises, they do not allow you to look at the menu so that when you enter the place you know what to order and the delay is 1 hour and a half and even then the food never arrived

Given the low demand for Colombian food, my best friend and I decided to come to Los Parceros. Firstly, part of the menu was not available so the options to choose from were limited. When the food arrived it was good, the mute was tasty and the paella had a special flavor but a slightly chewy texture. I ordered a rice with shrimp to take away which I decided to review before leaving and the disappointment was immediate, however I did not want to return the dish so I ordered another mute to take away. When the waitress brought me the soup I felt the bag was too light, when I checked the container was practically half full which did not resemble the portion I had already had at dine in, I told the waitress and her response was "that is the size of the portion", after insisting, I got her to He will give me a portion of similar size. The service is quite questionable.

I really enjoy the decorations and atmosphere, but the blender is always on the way. Sometimes I look at the prices and i start wondering why i haven't started my own restaurant yet. Food doesn't even match the price and it feels like they sent it frozen from colombia. I ate here 5 times and was left disappointed every single time.

Today I came in with my brothers and a girl with glasses yelled at us and told us to go back to the door to receive us, she took the menus and took us to a table then we ordered rib soup and it was very bad, cold and tasteless, sausage with Cold shredded cheese and little sauce, slow service. It's not real Colombian food.

The worst service I have ever received, we had the waitress Nicole, since we arrived she had a terrible attitude and only looked at her cell phone. We tried to give it a chance regardless of the bad reviews, but it was still a bad experience, ruining the food that was delicious. It is a shame that the poor service of the waitresses is ruining the restaurant.

Services is horrible, overpriced and they don't have a liquer license. Watch out for automatic gratuity. I had a reheated steak that tasted like the bottom of a shoe. My wife is Colombian and felt horrible for taking me there. When she mentioned an issue with our food, the menager said we had our expectations too high. Also he said we agree to pay for food and service once the food got to our table. Don't waste your money there, go to La Chiva.

Please do yourself a favor, DO NOT EAT HERE. The service is bad, and the food is even worse. I've never had such a bad experience in a restaurant ever. We ordered a carne a la llanera, and it was the worst food I've ever had. The meat was dry, old, and tasted like it's been reheated multiple times. We ate one bite of the meat, yet still they made us pay for it and additionally added the gratuity. This place is a trap, do not come here, you will be better eating at LA chiva, they know what's quality and a great service.

We sat for more than 15 minutes waiting for our order to be taken. The waitresses passed by and didn't even offer us anything to drink. It was as if we didn't exist. The restaurant only had 6 tables occupied and there were around 3-4 waitresses. In the end we ended up filling up without ordering anything.

The Last sunday,i am went to "los parceros colombianos " With my friend and my mom.I had a classic" arepa" With everything,the arepa wasn't very big,it Was a littel small,however it Was pretty delicious.We didn't want dessert,so i don't haven' opinion about that,though i had a soursop juice in Milk,it's very exquicite.I woul recommend this place because is very friendly and you can learn more about the culture colombian,this place is open every days úntil 8:pm

Went in twice. Both days during the week and it was super slow and still took forever to get service. Customer service is very poor. The second time we went they sat us in a booth and left us waiting for about 15 minutes or more without serving us. Very bad service and bad customer service. 3 young girls near the door talking and laughing and not one came close. In those 15-20 minutes they didn't even offer water so we left.

The “llanera” meat tasted spoiled, the meat is served with water, so sad that this food does not represent us. And the prices are not cheap, it should match the service.

The service was not good. Only time the server came to my table was to take my order and drop off my food. I had to ask for an additional drink, ask for my check maybe twice and finally just walked up to the bar to pay my tab. Pretty sad, no hospitality.

Terrible service, we had to call the waitress to take our order and we were the only table in the place, it took 30 minutes to bring us the starters and also the dishes, another hour and 40 more minutes, we asked for coffee and bonus bread for the starter but The waitress forgot, we paid 200 dollars for 5 people and she also included the tip in the bill and on top of that she didn't want to bring the returns, the food was cold. The truth is that it was one of the worst experiences in service and food. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. 😡😡😡😡

I could not communicate with anyone. There were no English-speaking people. The menu was in Spanish so I had no idea what I was ordering because of this. If I were in Columbia I could understand. There should be a translation on the menu if no one can speak the language of this Country.

I am very disappointed in this place, I decided to take my children to try some Colombian food, the welcome was terrible, they sat us at a table and it took them 20 minutes to take our drink order. An hour later I asked where my food was and after an hour the waitress told us that she apologized that they have the city on top of them in the kitchen but they let us wait all that time and if I didn't ask I would surely continue waiting for I don't know how many more hours. They had the city on top of them from the moment we entered the restaurant and they didn't say anything, everything was very tense and the waitresses were not at all attentive. The last straw was that they charged me for drinks, which was a toy cafe. In reality everything was horrible. I never plan to return!!!!

Atmosphere was good at first and was okey but the service and time was terrible and bad. Waited a whole hour for two plates. The little server never came to us at all and was either with the other servers or on her phone. I didn’t get to eat because I had important things to do so and the arepa that came after that hour looked simple and not worth an hour of waiting. Idk what the owners are Thinking at all. A Columbian couple(husband and wife) took me here for lunch one day. They told me that the food is completely authentic Columbian cuisine. For me the food was delicious, service was wonderful and the atmosphere was 100% Columbian.

Place was closing went we got there 8:00pm but it was almost full for a Wednesday night. They have on the menu alcoholic beverages but they don't sell any at that time. The Chevere site, a little more spice, a good cook and turning up the music more is a constructive criticism...Keep going partners.

Fatal Service!! 3 people arrived at 4:30 and the restaurant was empty, the waitresses were all sitting at a table talking and looking at the phone, they sat us down, we ordered appetizers and it took more than 25 minutes and there were only 2 tables in the restaurant, you could hear the bell ringing. that the food was ready and no waitress stopped to pick it up, the appetizer plates were cold we asked for soft drinks and they never refilled them she never checked our table if we were okay when we ordered our main dishes it took 1 hour to come out two other tables arrived they ordered food they paid and they left and our food still didn't come out... When the waitress finally stopped to pick it up after hearing the bell ring more than 20 times, the food was cold and not what I had ordered, she brought my food and just left it on the table, I didn't even have time to say no. It was what I had ordered. She went to talk to the other waitresses. I tried to call her but there was no way. About 20 minutes passed until she finally came to the table and the other 2 people's plates had not yet come out. It took another 15 minutes. in fixing my food and bringing other people's! When I was going to pay I asked him if there was the possibility of speaking with a manager to which he said no because his manager was not there I asked him for a number to call and he told me that he did not have a number either trying to hide the bad service they had given us given! We left the restaurant at 6:47 more than 2 hours for a table of 3!! And apart from everything, they charged me for the tip already included, that's why they don't give good service because they already have a sure tip and they don't care! The worst experience I've ever had in a real restaurant. I don't recommend it at all. Go to LA CHIVA if you want good service because the way they treat you is a joke here.

Met our family here (6 adults, 3 small children) for lunch 1/14/24. My husband & I were the first to arrive telling the waitress there would be 9 of us and she held up 2 fingers and picked up two menus. I shook my head no and said 9 but she still didn't understand so had to hold up 9 fingers. This is concerning. The other glaring thing was it was literally freezing. I was so cold, I was shivering and couldn't remove my coat. The table was like ice as was the floor. It was only 5 degrees outside, an unusual cold snap but if you open at 11AM and didn't come in early enough to turn your head on or you don't have heat, then you shouldn't have opened. It never warmed up the entire 2 hours we were there and we asked for the heat to be turned up....but that thing about not understanding us, still an issue. My daughter in law does speak Spanish fairly well and was helpful since the waitress couldn't understand any English but this also meant, she never would speak to anyone else at the table except her. However, she only came to the table to take our orders, deliver the food and one other time only to speak to my DIL. Never to refill waters, or see if anything else was needed. Then there was the food. I wanted to love it, but the empanadas while different than what I've had in the past, would have been okay if the outside hadn't been so greasy they could fall out of your hand. The chicken inside was good. Cheese stick appetizers were good. I had the tamal, it was not good. The meat had a lot of gristle and fat in it and the entire dish was so dry with no flavor. My husband had the Pechuga A La Plancha Gratinada which was essentially a flattened piece of chicken, fries and salad. He loved the salad and fries but the chicken even for my husband who loves his meat cooked well, said it was not good and too dry. The steak from another meal was super dry. Overall, the quality of food was just not good. Dry, flavorless and they clearly hadn't changed the oil as you could taste that it was stale. The price for our meal with their auto added gratuity was over $270 for 7 menu items plus 2 appetizers and 1 drink only as everyone else had water. Spending nearly $300 on a meal that wasn't good, service was terrible and were all so cold we couldn't take our coats off which didn't help our feet and legs just isn't acceptable.

The waitress's attention was terrible, apart from that they ordered an over belly and they arrived with sweaty meat, the complaint was made and the manager came out saying that that was the over belly here 🤭terrible chicken stew. This restaurant is not recommended at all.

My family and I have heard about this restaurant and even read the reviews on here and thought it was a good idea to go in and try some good food along with supporting a mom and pop shop. Well let me say that the food, service for the price was very disappointing. My husband and son ordered the steak that was 30 plus dollars, it was a very cheap grisly steak and half their steak was not eaten because it was grisly (not worththe price). My daughter and I ordered a bowl mostly filled with beans topped with corn, plantains, pork but it was very blan not a lot of flavor. When we arrived we were greeted by the hostess but as she pointed to us to sit anywhere we as the customers had to be the ones who put 2 tables together for our family to sit. Our actual waitress was ok but would disappear for long periods of time so we couldn't get items we needed. She served our appetizers at the same time as our food. We also ordered a side of plantains which she forgot to give to us until we were almost done eating. There wasn't many people eating there for a weekend (only 10 people). When we got our bill, they charged us for gratuity which there was only 5 of us who ordered a meal my 2 little ones didn't eat anything. Let's just say we were hoping for better and very disappointed. Don't waste your time and money going to a subpar over priced restaurant like this. We won't be coming back.

La comida estuvo bien, el servicio también, pero metieron la "Colombianada" de incluir un gratuity del 15% que no va para los meseros si no para los dueños. (Explicado tal cual por el mesero) Eso solo pasa en Colombia y en este restaurante.

Mala experiencia obligan a los clientes pagar propinas muy altas que superan el 17% del total de consumo. Las propinas deben ser voluntarias y deben son proporcional a la calidad del servicio. No recomiendo que visiten este lugar es pésimo.

I'm very disappointed to see how little effort for good quality was put into this restaurant. The only positive things were the service and the morcilla and guanabana juice. The meat was burnt and tough; the food was cold and bland (and to make it worst, they serve their food on cold plates); their picante was definitely not colombian and not spicy at all; the empanadas were dried; and the price is outrageous. To top it off, the staff was cleaning windows while we were eating so the scent of chemicals was strong....the atmosphere was of very low class.

The food reminded me of my time in Colombia. The staff is friendly. I have been there twice and can't wait to go again. Great restaurant.

Came to have a very late breakfast today. The food was so delicious! The churrasco was so delicious and the cut of meat was so tender and juicy. We will definitely be back.

So we came all the way up here thinking that for sure they would be open. They weren't open at 11 a.m. And it looks like they are still under construction. And the sign says thay construction should have stopped by October 10th. Time to go back down an hour and a half drive back south. Never coming back.

If you have a business, you should at least open it. It was noon, and that place still closed. Some people say it is always that way they open when they feel like it

The food is delicious, good portions, but the menus hardly do justice to the ingredients that the dishes must have if you are a true Colombian aficionado. We order the tamal and it was mostly rice on it. The meat was just a couple cubes of pork and almost nothing else but dry rice! At $15 dollars you expect to have more than just rice in your tamal. Again, the food is tasty but they skimp on the good ingredients and serve you stuffing mostly. Service was great no problems there. Put more quality ingredients and the food will be up to par to the authentic food of Colombia.

Typical meal price in Colombia for twice as much food and QUALITY: $5.00 PER PERSON!!!! USA dollars, 12 Bucks!! How embarrassing to read about this place!! Try La Chiva and tell them you expect service and food. Sometimes they also take advantage of Americans, but if you tell them what you expect, they'll do better. NO REASON for these "Colombian" restaurants to charge ridiculous prices! If they keep it up, don't support them. Only support a Colombian restaurant that offers amazing service, quality and delicious food and reasonable prices; this is how my country treats people. A shame they come to this country only to rip off people and show the worst version of decent Colombians! Let's see if they start doing better... Reviews should be 4 stars!
