After hearing mixed reviews, I was glad to see everything was marvelous.

We stopped in on a Saturday night for dinner had not been here for awhile the place was empty the service was ok but the food was not very good this place has went down hill would not recommend

My wife and i order. She supposed to get salad. I order soup. Never recive then i order shrimp Alfredo and the shrinp still have skins on tails.

I was the only patron inside and had to ask for drink refills twice. The tortellini soup tasted as if it was assembled carelessly. It was basically salt water with chicken pieces and tortellini. I woulda had better soup from a can.

This restaurant serves the most underwhelming Italian food. Everything taste like it is store bought and warmed up in a microwave. Save yourself some time and skip this restaurant!

The food and service were great.

Cozy place with low conversations and soft music. Food was great. Could use olive oil to dip the freshly baked bread.

Nice, small restaurant with only 5 or 6 tables. The bread upfront was lovely and home made. Our main courses were good, the pasta arabiata was delicious and fiery, the pasta bolognese was great, but my meat dish in marsala sauce could have been served with a bit more pasta, and not mixed in with the meat, but on the side, but the taste was very nice. We liked it and wil, visit again.

They have really good NY style pizza. It really tasty

The worst lasagna ever. One layer of boiled hamburger and one of ricotta. The rest, just noodles. What little sauce was used was like Campbell's vegetable soup. Runny and no taste to any of it. The price for the meal wasn't bad until you saw what it was. Sorry we traveled almost an hour to try something different.

We had (a party of 4) and we all agree that we don't like the service received, the food was not as we expected. We encourage them to improve and be better because they are local in Lake Alfred and we love to support and follow the local businesses. We ordered 3 different dishes but no one fits our minimum expectations.

Friendly efficient staff, but the food and atmosphere were underwhelming at best. Lasagna was freshly prepared and visually appealing, but the ingredients were perhaps the cheapest available? The calamari was overcooked, not tasty. Edible, but very, very overpriced and unsatisfying.

We are from Texas and we used to go to a place called Joe's Pizza and pasta. It was the best in our area. This was just as good.

Found what I think was scrambled eggs in my carbonara. The food was so horrible. Completely bland, chicken tasted like it was microwaved. I really feel sick to my stomach. We got the bill and gave our card when we got our copy we found out that they added four extra dollars to the total. I can’t believe the crazy amount we paid for the actual garbage that we were served. RUN!

I bought a basic large pizza with extra pep, a sub par antipasto, and an over priced bottle of red wine. The server could not address any of my questions about the wine selection on the menu. The pic below is a pic of the unremarkable antipasto. I urge against ordering the meal for anyone reading. My experience was underwhelming. I will not be back.

Male waiter was good, female waiter had an bad attitude and did not know anything about the menu. Everything was I guess. Do not even to go ask the cook. Food was OK moderate at most could have used a little bit more Passion or seasoning. I let you make the call

Reason for 3 stars is the co -owner i dont think wants this business to succeed. The waitress and bell boy running their buts off! The red head waitress pleasant and awesome. And bell boy awesome. Co-Owner sxxks….. she Forgot my wine, she Took my order and then like forgot about us….worse customer owner ever! j Food was 4. U need lemon wedges in the chicken piccata! Again, the Co-Owner…. U need to act like u want this place to succeed! I recommend u take class in hospitality or something to be personal with your paying customers! From a business owner herself! You r horrible! Dont know your name but your english not understandable.

Spaghetti and meatballs...floating in water...no flavor. Chicken Sorentino...Chicken was a grey color, slimy, eggplant was unrecognizable, side penine pasta was served without any type of sauce...had to request marinara...which was watery and flavorless

I did a phone order and ordered 3 items! 2 dinner and an appetizer. Spaghetti and meatballs, backed ziti with 3 meatballs and eggplant appetizer my husband went to pick it up and they wanted to charge him $76.00!!!! For 2 meals!I know they weren't no steak dinner it was pasta. The menu says one price and they charged double. I know business is tough but this is one way to lose customers.

Drove by Luigi's a bunch of times and finally tried it out. Glad I did! The food and service were great!

At the outset, this is my first bad review. Horrible experience. My husband and I decided to try this “authentic” Italian restaurant. 1. We didn’t get acknowledged by our server for about 10 minutes- at that time the server was indifferent. 2. The fried calamari was ordered as our appetizer- taste could be described as rubbery with a reduced marinara sauce. 3. The main course- baked ziti and penne a la vodka- plain and bland. Baked ziti was orange, watery, and tasteless. The penne was simple- hardly worth the price. 4. Table bread: stale and dry- served with packaged butter We will not be back. Hopefully this local “hotspot” can turn around their authentic roots.

Good food and service. Would have given 5 stars but we were getting cigarette smoke blowing in from patio. Not bad but a little annoying.

I had the shrimp fettuccine alfredo and it was okay. The Alfredo sauce was too watery for my liking and it was bland. I suggest sticking to the piazzas they offer. Their pizzas are AMAZING!

A great guaint place with great Italian food. I had the gnocchi which was homemade.

Food is excellent! We are from the northeast - Italian from Boston and New York and this is authentic Italian cuisine. First time here so we order simple to judge - baked clams, veal parmesan, veal sorrentino, and a special chicken in a tarragon sauce. The clams were perfectly cooked. The veal and chicken were tender and the sauces were what we are used to from a good restaurant. My other judge is the quality of the pasta and it was al dente. We will definitely go back!

Another fabulous dinner at this gem hidden in little Lake Alfred about 45 minutes west of Orlando! Great food, great ambience, and great service. We live in Venice, Florida now but whenever we are up in the Orlando area, we have to stop in. Some day, we're gonna convince Luigi to move his operation to Venice!

Their pizza is really good. True homemade. Not comparable to the chains or NY pizza etc. We ordered a white pizza and a double pepperoni. Excellent experience both times.

My brother and sister-in-law told us about this restaurant and let me just say we loved it we've been there twice and each time I've ordered something different and each time I was so happy cuz it was very good so delicious they give you good amount of food it's nice inside quiet atmosphere it's really good the eggplant Parmesan was to die for I had the chicken parmesan tonight which was equally as delicious the breast was tender and juicy just so delicious definitely going to make that a regular place you should definitely try the zucchini appetizer so good

We had a supreme pizza, the grouper, calamari dish and a veal dish. Each sauce was very flavorful. Calamari was your basic ring pieces, not steaks. Pasta a tad overcooked, might need to ask for al dente. Prices fairly reasonable. An extra $2 to upgrade to a tiny ceasar salad and then $1.95 for the gorgonzola dressing is a bit overboard for what you get, but the dressing was really good.

One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to since moving here from N.Y. And totally became a regular costumer.

Pasta is grate don't order pizza dine in it took an hour and a half to get it and then it was burnt so they tried to fix then it was raw the second time. Gave us the rest of our meal for free though. Pizza cook needs help but pasta is amazing!!!!

Awesome pizza every single time

Stopped in for the first time this evening. Intimate atmosphere, and our dinner was very good. Chicken marsala, and veal picatta..large portions, and cooked perfectly. Prompt, friendly service.

Very large portions, delicious bread. The restaraunt is lovely and quaint.

My daughter and I went to eat here for my birthday and we loved it. Small and quaint and great decor. Pasta was great. They surprised us with a piece of cake to share with my daughter for my bday. It was a nice surprise. We will be back

Quiet, intimate "date night" spot with my wife! I am slightly picky (as is my wife) about Italian cuisine, but I fell in love with the food (or, at least, my choice of dinner)! And a "15-out-of-10" on the bread! To the owner, "molto bene, Signore!"

Luigi's is a nice quaint italian restaurant with kind pleasant servers. Portions are more than enough to take home for another meal.

Almost hate to let everyone know about our favorite Little Italian restaurant. Incredible menu and their veal dishes are to die for.

We hadn't been to Luigi's in a couple of years, not really sure why? The food was excellent as everything is cooked to order. The service was OK, not attentive as I would expect though.

Great little place just off Hwy 17 in Lake Alfred. Calamari was good but could have been a little more crisp. Lasagna was superb! Carbonara was great and enough for leftovers!

My favorite place to eat in Lake Alfred, this is a great place to visit for dinner. The staff is polite and professional, and are always quick to address any issues you may have with your order. While the main dining area is quite small, the restaurant has a nice back area for larger parties to sit comfortably. While everything I've tried here is really good, their chicken marsala has become my go-to. Order the vegetables with it; they're delicious! Portions are well sized; I usually end up taking a portion home for lunch the next day. I also highly recommend the cannoli; it's my absolute favorite thing on the menu. It isn't too heavy, and can be easily split between two people. While I love visiting this location for a sit down dinner, their pizzas are also really great, and you have the option to order anything on the menu for pick up. Overall, there's a lot of variety on the menu and everything I've had has been delicious; love this place!

Don't judge by the outside. Feels authentic. Pasta cooked very well. Vegetarian options. Biggest issue is that it has outgrown its space. We were seated right next to the interior furnace unit.

Never been disappointed, usually I am impressed again with each menu selection. Absolutely love to dine here and almost always bring a friend so they can love it too!

We have ordered delivery from Luigi’s previously and it was delicious! Tonight we decided to order the Spaghetti Carbonara again and try the Mozzarella en which on the menu says “Fried Mozzarella with Marinara Sauce” had I known it was a grilled cheese, we would not have ordered. The Spaghetti Carbonara had peas in it, which were not included previously nor listed in the menu. While I do not mind peas, the flavor just was not as good. It didn’t have the punch from the pancetta and Parmesan. This was a disappointing meal.

Small little place in the middle of no-where. Really good menu variety. Good sized pasta portions. Fresh bread had an interesting flavor to the crust... almost a pretzel type flavor but very good. Alfredo sauce a bit thin. Could have used more cheese in the recipe. Ambiance a bit loud. Only major complaint was the price. Way too high priced for Lake Alfred. Come on guys... seriously reconsider your prices.

The food is PHENOMENAL!! It is a bit pricey though, but worth paying for since there is no other place in town (in my opinion) with such GREAT pizza..

Authentic Italian at reasonable prices when you walk in you feel like there would be a dress code but they will not turn you away the pizza is amazing and the service is good. This is a good place for small to large family gatherings

The only restaurant that is true Italian. Not fast food Italian like olive garden or carrabba's- Luigi's is authentic , great tasting food, & worth the trip.
