Great place for pizza and strombolis!

Ordered food for pick up. Was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I showed up on 20 minutes and my order was ready. Glad I didn't listen to the order taker and showed up at the quoted time.

Just a plain little hometown pizza joint. I've been coming here since I was a kid and the place is still the same. If you are looking for yummy pizza...look no further.

Ordered the Italian Sub warm and it was DELICIOUS! The people there were sooo nice and friendly even though we ordered close to closing time! If you love subs, you really should try them! The pizza looked amazing too! Will have to try that next time I’m that way!

Just the best Philly Cheese around in the southwest, best you can get that's not from Philly itself

What a hidden gem! We about loved our Italian sandwiches, prices are fantastic. The photo is a 1/2 sandwich. The whole is an entire extra sandwich for just a couple dollars more! Highly recommended

This local town restaurant in Abington , Va has really good hot subs! Everytime I’m in the area I stop by to get one.

If your looking for a good Stromboli or a good sub you can't go wrong here! If I get a sub it's the hot ham and cheese, my husband loves the Italian and Philly Cheese Steak..this place has been around a long time and the loyal customers are a testiment to the quality of the food

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! The food is a cut above they have been there for over 30 years, and I have been eating there since I was a little boy. To me this is a hidden gem of Abingdon. The flavor of the food has not changed either. Times, the interior seating has, the colors of the sign have even faded with age, but when I get an order of cheese sticks it's like I'm a kid again. It doesn't matter what you pick on the menu it will be great. That said, look at the menu online and call ahead because the food is made from scratch by hand and with care that you can taste it in every bite. So of course, it will take some time and it is worth the wait.

It has been a while since I’ve eaten Lyons Den.. I’d say 9 months or longer. The food has always been pretty good. Yesterday, 3/5 of my coworkers, myself included ordered from there because it was close, convenient and because we hadn’t eaten there in a while. The three of us stated to each other that the food just wasn’t what we remembered and that our food was extremely greasy. I’ll go off what I had which was the Stromboli. I couldn’t even pick up my Stromboli without the toppings inside sliding out and because of the amount of grease that poured out of it. My husband ate half of it today for lunch and immediately threw it back up because of how much grease there was. I hate leaving bad comments but this was an experience that has honestly deterred me from coming back.

The Stromboli was amazing, best I ever had! The steak sub was also good. Will definitely be back!

I rarely eat in, but its a small place. The food is amazing. The Strombolis and calzones are great and they are huge. Its well worth it.

Service was good, but food was overpriced for what you get. The hoagie bun was very doughy and undercooked on the Philly cheesesteak.

This is the BEST place to get THE BEST CHEESESTEAK EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY MAKE THE BEST FOOD!!! We always get ours with extra meat an cheese, but every time I've ask for ketchup an extra ketchup, I get none, so I think that's weird lol, but it's all good cuz I ran up the street to dollar general an got me a bottle of ketchup to keep on me when we do get our cheesesteaks lol

Best Crust you could ask for, and not only for the pizzas. Give their Salads a try, especially where it's summertime and you are looking for something cool to eat.

Ordered a Philly..... no one else waiting and it took well over 30 minutes. When I finally did get it it was very mediocre at best.

I can't say enough good about Lyons Den Pizza Their Pizza Sauce and Dough are made from scratch . ( I know this because I've made it myself ) . Everything they make and serve is absolutely the best I give them a 10 + all day long. Keep up the good work guys .

Was on my way home and happened to see this place so I decided to try one of their Italian subs the dressing on the sub reminded me of my highschool years. It was one of the best subs I had around here.

Nothing really fancy about this establishment, but the food here is made fresh and they make it right in front of you, and it is delicious... just a nice , simple place to eat.

Great people and the food is always great also. Our grandboys loves their cheese pizza.

I travel to Abingdon very often for business and I always make sure to stop by and get that delicious Philly sub, it does not disappoint. It’s absolutely the best I’ve had in KY, VA, WV, and TN. Customer service is always top notch and they seem to get the food out quickly even during times that’s been packed. P. S. Do not confuse this with the place in WV.
