While in town visiting for the weekend, we visited Maggie's attic three times. I believe every weekend they have either beer or wine sip n shops on Saturday evening, and in addition to having an immense selection of beer and wine, they have a small bar where you can get a glass of wine and sit on one of their mini couches or love seats and enjoy great conversation. They are dog friendly too!

maggie's attic is one of the first (if not thee first) craft beer spots in lake county. i daresay wine lovers are overjoyed, and they have cute shopping, too, but we have always appreciated their attention to craft beer. the owners and staff are stellar people. ❤️👏

First time visitor was not impressed by the male bartender 🙄 he had poor customer service almost like he didn't want to sell me a drink..Needless to say I won't be back..If you don't want my money just say so...

Late to write this review. I came here to purchase a glass of wine while on my annual trip to Mount Dora. Bartender was careless, distracted, and inattentive. So it came as no shock that she ran my card for multiple glasses of wine. She charged me for the drinks of the people standing at the bar next to me. It was stressful trying to explain to the manager what happened and get my money back. Won't be back.

This place is so welcoming. It's a great place to just sit, have a glass of wine and just enjoy the homey environment. On Thursdays there's music outdoors. Also, a fun place to take friends and sit, chat, and enjoy their variety of wines.

Not a bad little place...good wine selection.. friendly people..be careful on their "discounted" wines...after their markup and then add on the discount... you're back to about what you would pay retail at any other store....so, not really a "deal".

We love coming here to take a rest from walking. Langue Di Giuda is so refreshing, i would recommend it for sure. They have a great selection of beer and wine and other things they sell.

Nice night with live music outside Maggie's Attic. Huge wine selection, good selection of draft beers, different tchotchkies and souvenirs available as well. Friendly atmosphere, smaller areas available for quiet conversation.

Went to go pick up some wine for our trip. What a lovely place. Wine bar with a homey atmosphere. Little nooks and crannies with seats make for a perfect little getaway. Saddened I could stay and enjoy it all the way, but will be coming back to get the full experience next time.

By far my favorite place in Mount Dora! Cozy and welcoming. Love the beer selection and the conversations. Great place to shop for takeout or hanging out on the couch making new friends. I love the dogs are welcome.

Wonderful little wine den with beers and by-the-glass bar. Unique gifts and gift to foods. TV for sports events. Host of the city's Wine Tasting events on the first and third Saturday evenings. A must visit location in the beautiful city of Mt Dora.

Great place to stop for a glass of wine. They have several wines by the glass and frequently have bottled wine specials. Comfortable seating areas upstairs and down. They also host the Mount Dora Saturday wine walk on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This is a must stop in Mount Dora.

Without fail we enjoy every minute here, every time. We have come here with kids (we made sure they respectful and sat entertained quietly), dogs, and alone (our fav way). We are always welcomed, treated great, and meet the best people. It’s a must if you’re in Mt. Dora.

Amazing little find!! We were aimlessly walking around Mt Dora and stumbled upon this amazing find! We spent the first 30 min just perusing around the place, taking in all the whimsical wall plaques and excellent wine selections. We finally selected several fantastic bottles & enjoyed them immensely. The man who checked us out was incredibly helpful and even accommodated our random request. Sweet spot upstairs to sip, relax, converse...we saw him later taking another guy's order to his car. Turns out, he was the humble owner! Great selection, perfect little location, quaint atmosphere... HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Fun is the word I would use to describe this place. Great selection of beer and wine. However, what makes it special is the laidback atmosphere and comfly feel. Don't miss it.

We were greeted by Maggie and her assistant helped us choose a wine from Spain for my in-laws (40% off). Lots of fun things to look at and purchase.

Good music, nice wine, nice people

Every time we go to Mount Dora we stop here. It is a very chilled-boutique kind of space. They have a gift shop inside and they sell hard to find and unique beer and seltzer selections. You can buy it to go or you can drink it there on one of their super comfortable sofas. The bartenders are always nice and super pet friendly. The take care of their 4 legged guest with fresh water and treats.

An amazing selection. Great location with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a fully stocked beer fridge, and exceptional service. Lisa and Jerome are the best.

We found Maggie's attic by accident while checking out some neighboring shops. It's a very cozy wine bar with comfy seating and a great selection of wines. The staff was very helpful and we happened to be there on a Friday and there was live music playing just out the front door. I didn't se any food available but there are plenty of choices within a short walk. Maggie's is worth looking for and catching a glass or two of vino.

A charming and eccentric wine bar and social center. It has to be good to thrive in a restaurant and bar filled town like Mount Dora.

We've always enjoyed the atmosphere both inside and out in the charming walkway that is protected from any wind. Guitarists play for Wine Down Wednesdays and Saturdays. Large selection of wine and beer and related decor. Cigars were added to their venue so that changed the "air" and cut our visit short. 😔

It's the cleanest invested place, fun and real

Nice little place to chill out on some comfy couches and grab a beer and wine surrounded by the racks of beer and wine that are all for sale. I think the gent behind the counter was having a bad day or only warms up to locals but I didn’t find him friendly or interested that we were there .

We walked through here and browsed around. Lots of wine options and neat gifts for wine lovers. They also have a sale rack with a lot of options. They have seating to hang around if you wanna stay for a bit.

Awesome spot with large selection of beers, wines, funky and retro artwork. The gentleman behind the bar was really nice and the place is super laid back with plenty of room to chill and hang while enjoying a drink.

A favorite for a quiet night out on a day off. Hannah Wilson was here the last time I was and is a treasure to listen to. Jerome has always taken great care of us when we come in. If you are in the area and love craft beer, great wine, and a wonderful atmosphere, this is the place for you. 10 second walk to the nicest sunset in Lake County. Minutes from anything in downtown Mount Dora (Shops, Restaurants, and Bars). Definitely needs to be on the list whenever you visit. Local goods and brews that you can take home with you. Whether you are decorating your home, or stocking your fridge, this is a place to check out.

Maggie's attic is a great place to unwind and spend time with friends. There is outside and inside seating. Also every 1st and 3rd Saturday is the wine walk. The prices are beyond reasonable and the selections are both unique and common. If you are in Mount Dora you must stop by and visit.

We went to Mt Dora for just a day, but I wished we could have stayed overnight. While looking for a wine stopper and exploring the city, another shop recommened to go to Maggie's. I absolutely loved this wine shop/bar as soon as I set foot. After my partner was done with the race, we both went to Maggie's to have a glass of wine. They also sell beer but we went mainly for the wine. They have several sofa's which makes the place a bit cozy to enjoy your drink and it has an amazing selection! Unfortunately, we weren't able to stay for the wine tasting that night, but we definitely will come back to both Mt Dora and Maggie's.

It's a very cool store and very popular. Therefore we did not stay long due to the crowd. But yes I would recommend it.

Quaint shop down the alley towards the fountain, filled with unique decorations for sale. Perfect for the Mount Dora cottages.

Had a lovely Friday night. Maggie's is a wine shop with a bar. Located in a building with other shops. The night we visited they had band playing out front. They have tables inside and out. Also have comfy seats inside. Band was fantastic!

Great place to grab a glass of wine. Atmosphere is unique and wine selection is pretty good. Overall, I'd like to see more selection, but the staff and atmosphere more than make up for it.

Everyone who enjoys Mt Dora after hours knows this place. Tucked away in a small alley near Picese Rising, the atmosphere here is great. Inside, you will find wall to wall wine and beer, cozy couches and friendly staff. There is frequently live music and dancing in the alley and every month Maggie's partners with local shops to host a wine walk and a beer walk. If you are planning to visit Mt Dora, you need to visit here.
