We came in as a large party towards the end of the night. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. They patiently walked us through the menu. All of the ingredients were fresh and the servings were more than generous. We tried both a sweet and a savory option, both were really good! I thought it would be a novelty thing, but i will definitely be back next time i have a craving for sweets. I cant wait to try more magic waffle combinations. Thank you!

such a good experience! we came in late as a group of about 9, they were super accommodating and so nice, everything was prepared fresh and looked beautiful. the two working, man and woman, must have been the owners because they were so genuine and caring of our experience, and also very knowledgeable. we did our best to clean up after ourselves and got out the door 10minutes after close, but they never made us feel bad or anything other than welcome. would be happy to give them business any day of the week!

First family visited tonight…friendly staff, SO many yummy options! We loved all our combinations and the waffles were super light and fluffy, better topped with ice cream and other treats! The kids gave it a 1000/100 😊 we will definitely be back! Go check it out, and they have breakfast and lunch!

This place is INCREDIBLE!! I have several dietary restrictions and was able to get a lot off the menu! The workers are so kind and sweet. The food is amazing. And i can’t wait to return again!

My husband and I both ordered gluten free so we could share (I am gf, he isn’t). We got the fruit waffle with coffee ice cream, breakfast waffle, and the best mochachino we’ve ever had! Owner is knowledgeable about gf needs!

08/24 LOVED IT. Had: hummus waffle, turkish coffee, thai bubble tea, waffle tree with Nutella & strawberries. Everything was wonderful. Look forward to going again and trying something different. Only suggestion; a touch more garlic in the hummus..lol....i love garlic in my hummus.

I loved the self order station. It’s very helpful for someone who is new and can view the customizable options better. The Boba was fantastic and the ice cream bubble waffle cone!

I ordered matcha, and it just tasted weird. The tapioca pearls also tasted off and had a strange texture. This is a nice place but their boba both in the milk tea and pearls taste kinda bad.

I'm in love with this place. It's been big hits for birthday & occasional treats. I like my savory bubble waffle sandwich - the oregano. Ready to get people together to try other sandwiches

I heard about this place on instagram so me and my grandma decided to try it, not knowing that it would be one of the best places ever! The waffles are so good and fresh and the drinks taste great too!

This place is for sure a hidden gem in Mandarin! The quality of the waffles is outstanding, great flavor and cooked to perfection. When ordering gluten free items they take all of the necessary precautions and ask questions to ensure you don't have any issues when your food/drink comes out.

This was an adorable place and the service was amazing. They were so kind and loving. The food always so good. I got a gluten free waffle with chocolate chips and whipped cream and it was HEAVEN!! IT WAS JUST so amazing and I 100% recommend!! :)

The gluten free waffle is amazing here. There are a lot of options for waffles and waffle sandwiches. They offer sugar free syrup and Nutella. The owners are super nice and the location is very appealing. Great coffee options here too. Please support this business so that they can grow! We need more restaurants like Magic Maffle!

I was very disappointed in how much they have cut back in serving sizes.... I ordered a medium size and received what used to be a small last year. Also, the waffle bowl just didn't taste right.

My husband and I stopped in here on a whim and I’m so glad we did! The owner was friendly and so was the staff. Ice cream was so good, so was the boba tea, and the waffles! AND they have gluten free waffle options. Which is great for me since I have celiacs disease. Owner was very knowledgeable about the allergy and made me feel safe to eat here! Highly recommend! We will be back!

OMG!! This place is gluten-free HEAVEN! The waffles are to die for!! I may have been more than I need to, BUT they are so good. I get the gf waffle with dark chocolate, strawberries and whip cream 🤤. It’s heaven. My kids have gotten the ice cream and it is really good also- I’m not an ice cream fan. My husband gets everything I can’t eat so I don’t steal it and says it all is amazing. My son got boboa tea and said it was great. This place is phenomenal! Try it out, you won’t be disappointed

Pleasantly different, and very delicious! I had the bacon, turkey and cheese waffle and a strawberry Boba milk tea . Both were great and the staff was very nice and I will be returning soon - this weekend in fact!!

I have celiac so I was so pleased to hear that they take care preparing the food. I got the caprese magic waffle and it was delicious! The perfect amount of each ingredient. They take their time to make your order to perfection. We will definitely be back and hope to try dessert next time. The caprese waffle really is a good size so I had no room left for dessert. I am so pleased to find another place to eat yummy gluten free food safely!

This place is incredible!!! I got a bubble waffle with icecream and it is hands down the best thing I ate on vacation. My only regret is that we went on the last day of our trip. If you are near them it it a must try!!

We visit a couple times a week for fruit teas, so refreshing and the staff are so friendly. I like passion fruit tea with mango popping bubbles. My husband likes orange with kiwi popping bubbles.

First off this is a cute shop in a cute location. It’s hip and very chill and great for families. Now, the food….dont sleep on this place! Yes it’s a little expensive but the portions are huge and the taste is just so so soooooo amazing. Be prepared to wait a little for your waffle because it will be freshly prepared and hot, crisp, and tasty! I 1000 percent recommend!!

THEIR BOBA IS AMAZING. Im vegan and got the brown sugar boba with coconut milk and a mango fruit tea. Both delicious and I will most de be buying from them again and getting their boba again along with their vegan icecream!

I’ve passed by this place everyday for almost a year. I had no idea what it was so I stopped in today. This is such a cool concept. The bubble waffles look just like the advertised photos. I got a chocolate waffle with whip cream ,brownie, chocolate sauce and whip cream. It was delicious!! They have a lot of toppings to choose from. Great prices as well . Will definitely be back. Such a yummy snack/dessert spot.

THE BEST COFFEE IVE EVER HAD Magic Latte (Oat) and Turkish Coffee as well- perfect! These guys have an absolutely LOVELY café, with European, Mediterranean, and Asian specialties all on the menu - there is something for EVERYONE, they’ve even got a gluten free/vegan waffle. Had the opportunity to try a little bite of everything since I came with my family, had a Hummus waffle and a chocolate waffle tree to sample in particular that were outstanding! Such friendly owners, love the atmosphere. Super duper clean. Love it! Can’t wait to come back.

It took 15 minutes in a virtually empty store, for 2 ( very) small basic milkshakes. They were either made with a soft serve ice milk or added ice for volume. I couldn't see them being made but heard the standard blender used. They had ice crystals in them.. Canned whipped cream... I was completely disappointed and definitely over paid for the size and quality of product I received. Back to Culver's for me.

Went here on my 1st visit. I was there @ opening. Nice atmosphere, the staff greeted me with a welcome & good morning. I had my mind set on trying the hummus waffle the order went in without any long delays other the coffee was not ready @ opening. Thats really not a downfall on this place. I was happy on the service, staff and the atmosphere. Prices weren’t out of control either. I would like to recommend this place for a nice breakfast. I guess i have to go back & try the lunch !!!

This place is AMAZING! The latte with vanilla and cardamom is fantastic, but the star is the waffle! I got the Strawnsna waffle is the perfect amount of sweet without being too sweet. The atmosphere is great to have a quiet moment to reset. I will be coming back and you should too!

Really enjoyed how courteous and helpful the staff was, being that we brought 5 kiddos with us. This was like waffle heaven for kids because of the sweet waffle combinations. But they actually had some amazing options for adults to enjoy as well. Last, the bubbly tea here is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. This has my top recommendation for the best boba/tapioca bubbly tea, yes I have been to the major locations on the west, east and north side of Jacksonville. It is perfectly balanced, not tooooo sweet, great tasting tapioca/boba and they blend regular drinks for those who like em frosted. I will be driving 25 minutes for some waffles and bubbly tea.

We stopped here after the children's business fair and it was AMAZING!! We got two vegan/gluten free waffles with non- dairy chocolate and vanilla ice cream. One was plenty for two people. We were very pleased. Chatted with the owner a bit and he seems like a wonderful person to add to the community. Thanks again magic waffle!

Unusual but Awesome💯 When we seen the sign I was thinking sure I can do breakfast for dinner but I was in for a surprise in the best way possible. First, customer service was excellent. The food was amazing. Atmosphere was cool. The food was just superb, the dishes came to me just as in the photos. Everything is made to order and the wait time was minimal. The ice cream waffle I choose was the most ridiculous desert that I've seen. I honestly did not expect to utterly indulge in this desert. From start to finish, everything was just so pleasant. I wish I would have known about this place sooner. I can't even find anything to nicpick. It was just so unexpected. Hands down my favorite eatery in town. To the manager, your employees are awesome.

Waffles? Boba Tea? Fruits? This place has it. I've always loved a good waffle and so when I spotted this shop I had to try it out. A variety of boba tea flavors and green tea flavors are offered. Though, I wish they would include little fruit pieces with the green tea flavored beverages. The Thai tea 🧋 was good, standard tea. Of course, where this place shines, is the waffles. I loved the banana 🍌 and strawberry 🍓 combination. You can even get ice cream on top if desired. So good! There are many different flavors and combinations. Not just fruit either, this location also does savory with eggs and meats. Though, I did not try them. Unfortunately, while I loved everything I ordered, my husband was not as lucky. His waffle was more chewy and undercooked and his waffle fries 🍟 as you can see in the photo, were burned. Which is a shame because I was hoping he would have a good experience so we can come back. The workers were friendly enough, it took a little while to make the food, and I'm assuming because it was a new location. I absolutely love the idea of this place so much I gave it another star ⭐ and hope that in time it will grow and be even better. Honestly, this review SHOULD be three stars and maybe that will change later. My advice? I'd recommend not serving overcooked/undercooked food and instead apologize for the wait and start again. We wouldn't have minded. 🙂 Not sure when we'll be back but I definitely want to give it another try some day!

So the energy was very down when I walked in. All I was looking for was a coffee anyway. I ordered my coffee and I was upset that they didn’t have coffee ready at 9 o’clock on a Sunday morning. While he’s making the coffee I continue to look over the menu and finally I decide well if I have to wait for the coffee I might as well wait for something to eat too. Let me get the first thing on the menu I say. Nobody was particularly happy or friendly or anything at that moment. However this is so good I am surprised that I was the only person there on a Sunday morning. I do not like waffles at all yet the way they make it serves as the perfect bread for a savory sandwich. Just a touch of sweet with the bacon and eggs. Excellent stuff. I’ll be back. Cheer up those folks.

Found this place because it had a boba sign out front. Normally I wouldn't necessarily go in just for the waffles. Place w/ some potential. Strawnanna and a avocado waffle w/ mango milk tea w/ boba and mango fruit tea w/ boba. 16 oz and 24 oz. Boba was good, larger size boba, but seemed like you did not get as much as some other places, can get double boba for 50 cents more. Flavor was good, refreshing. No leftovers with the strawnanna and avocado waffles. Waffles had a mild outer crunch w/ some airiness to it. Would return and try some other things. Worth trying something different. They do serve milkshakes and coffee also. Quite a few items on the menu, of course waffle related from desert to sandwich style meal. I did agree w/ another reviewer about the tables and cleanliness. I know they were not busy earlier for breakfast, because i ate at a nearby place and the place was empty. I returned for a late lunch around 230, noticed that the tables were dirty, some crumbs around, like they had not been wiped down from previous patrons. I hope they do well, something different and unique. I would give it another go around, recommend you give it a try if in the area.
