The food lacked seasoning. It's a bit pricey for no flavor. The servers could smile. Would not eat here again.

Delicious lunch place! The salads are so fresh and I also love the wraps and sandwiches!

Our company owner and I had to make a trip from Missouri to Alexandria. Dropped our passenger off close by and wanted some lunch before returning to Missouri. We both like muffalettas and figured we would give here a try. We were disappointed to find that the grill is turned off at 2:00, thus limiting your options for the remaining 3-1/2 hours they are open. We were further disappointed when we got the muffaletta. Barely had any meat or cheese. I know prices are high for supplies, but to put only one slice of each meat and cheese into an 8" poboy roll is ridiculous. That is barely enough meat for barely enough deli for a half sandwich.

The Main Dish is an easy choice for lunch. Aside from the delicious menu and personable servers, it’s impossible to leave without getting my favorites from the prepared food section!

The absolute best food! Frozen section has great variety as well.

This was my husband's and my first time to eat here and the food is absolutely AMAZING! My grilled blackened salmon was the best I've eaten anywhere!

Several weeks ago my we bought several prepared dishes from here. Non of the dishes had any flavor to them. I’m so disappointed in whoever believes they are doing what’s right. They seemed to have destroyed every dish that used to be good.

Relaxed and clean atmosphere. Friendly service and great home cooked-style meals. Their frozen options have saved the day many nights.

Omg the food here is so GOOD! My husband and I get main dish as a treat every now and then and my goodness I love the food here! Always hot and fresh! I’ve never had anything that was bad! My fave is the shrimp po boy and the gumbo is the best I’ve had in a restaurant! The burgers are delicious too! One of our favorite places to eat!

I love the food. I go and pick up meals so that I wont have to cook. Unfortunately I may not be able to do this any more. The last batch of stuffed bell peppers was extremely hot. Someone was heavy handed with the pepper! I cannot eat it had to throw it all away. Some of the other food was too hot too. PLEASE CAN YOU NOT OVER SEASON WITH SALT AND PEPPER! We can aways add but we can't take it back out!

The staff were welcoming and gave us a sample/appetizer for free. The food was great at an affordable price. I had a burger that was tender and juicy, but didn’t fall apart or make a mess. The place was also clean.

We ordered from their catering menu for a church event for 30 people, and several of the items were delicious. However, a warning, several of the foods come FROZEN. We picked up our food about 30 minutes before the event, but some of it took 60-90 minutes to heat up. We had talked to them twice while preparing for the event and studied their menu, but it never came up that the food was frozen at pick up. Really never ate at the other location but now that they have moved to location closer to me it is very convenient for me now. I went to the Main Dish for the first time yesterday. I say this with no exaggeration; this place shocked me with how good it was. Not to be too much of an Alexandria-basher...but this town is severely lacking in good food options. So I was really suprised to come across what is possibly the best philly cheesesteak I've ever had - that includes the originators in Philadelphia. The meat on the sandwich was flavorful and tender, and was chopped and cooked to perfection. The cheese was tasty and generously applied, and it melted and blended perfectly into the mayo (as it should in my ideal cheesesteak). The bread was fantastic, as well. My only complaint honestly is that they aren't ever open for dinner or on the weekends (lunch only, M-F). I will definitely be back. I'm actually disappointed in myself that I never visited their other location, because clearly I was missing out on one of the best meals available in this town.
