Everything is a joke to these people they will make fun of the second you walk in the door. Who know what they do to the food. My brother had hair in his food last time, how disgusting!

My favorite breakfast bagel joint. Never disappointed. The orange juice is on point.

This review is for the downtown location. I ordered a pepperoni pizza bagel and instead of a bagel it was made on two thin, untoasted slices of white bread. Similar to a toddler putting a slice of bread in the microwave with a couple pepperonis and a slice of kraft cheese. Bagels are fine but I wouldn’t order anything else here

i don’t like to leave bad reviews, but i was really unhappy with this purchase and experience. there isn’t a lot of places to get bagels around here in west palm so i decided to give makeb’s a try off a friends recommendation. when i walked in it wasn’t busy at all and no one greeted me or even looked up at me. the energy was just so low in there. the boy who took my order and honestly all the staff just looked like they would rather be anywhere else. i get my order pretty quick, only to open it to the saddest everything bagel i’ve ever seen. it looked like a plain bagel with some salt sprinkled on it. had to spit out all the bacon because it was so fatty, chewy, and basically inedible. im really sorry to have to write this but hoping you take some feedback to improve, as you could be driving a lot more traffic as one of the few bagel spots in the city.

Paninis are great and fresh and the workers are so pleasant

I had the white fish salad platter. Sorry I didn't take a picture but I ate it. And it was delicious. I would recommend this place highly if you're in the area

It was very delicious made to order breakfast bagels. I order a capucchino with a turkey sausage egg and cheese. Everything tasted so fresh

My favorite bagel place in West Palm. Closest to NJ bagels being just a bit smaller. Also go to Makebs when Green Market is open on saturday mornings downtown

Worst place to get breakfast from. I when there early this morning to get food, i noticed they give me the wrong food when I check I already had left the restaurant, , I called them to see if they can do so anything they said come back we will give you fresh food or refound the money, I when back pick up the new order and the food is cold like if someone ordered and left it there , for a while this is.keep happening constantly I'm a regular customer, I don't want this to happen to another person. please make sure everyone pay attention while people is placing an new order.thwy didn't even offer for new food or refound Thanks

I have gotten a dozen bagels from here a few times for my office team and we are so happy to have found them. Previously we were going to another franchise location for bagels to go but Makeb's bagels are no comparison!

Good bagels are extremely hard to find in Florida! Growing up in the northeast you get spoiled. This place has awesome bagels and sandwiches. I always make the trip when I'm in the area.

Gets more expensive every day, but that's not on the business. They have no choice. The amount of awesome service compared to the few times things were unsatisfying is huge. To notch staff for the most part, and amazing food. Can't go wrong with makebs

Food is not good tuna is so basic straight out the can just mayo no seasoning not good the macaroni salad is awful and is overwhelming smothered in mayo the prices are ridiculous and way overpriced not worth it would not recommend wasting your money here

Very good bagels that had a nice NYC style chew. This might be as good and as close as you can get to a NYC/Jersey bagel in FL. It was very busy when we went and the service was fast. They were cranking out the orders. Easily best bagel in West Palm.

Just moved to West Palm Beach and saw the pictures/reviews of this place so I gave it a try. This was actually 10/10 super good, excellent service & clean environment.

My husband and I have been here numerous times. We always get the big boy sandwich, nova, or picante turkey. The customer service is always friendly, and it’s very easy to make changes to an order. The wait is never too long and the food is always fresh. We will continue to come here for years to come. Highly recommend!

This is such a cozy little shop in the corner of the plaza. The people are so nice and attentive.

I would give the service negative stars if I could. I ordered online this morning & when I got there to pick it up there was 1 person at the register and 4 girls behind the deli case. One of the ladies walked up to the counter where I was standing and called out an order#. She gave the lady that came up her order and some mayonnaise. When she finished I said "Excuse me I have a pick up order for Rob" She just turned and walked away. I said "excuse me" again, but she kept walking. The guy behind the register then said "1 second please". He finished with the person he was helping, then turned around, picked up the 2 orders that were right next to the mayonnaise packets, handed me my order and the guy standing behind me, apologized & said have a good day. I'm not sure if she didn't hear me, didn't understand English, or just didn't care, but that has to be the absolute worst customer service I have ever gotten from a place where i choose to spend money. SMH

does this look like 20$ of food???!!! LOL plus I tipped the dasher on top of that. OLD weepy tomatoes. IGNORED THE HOME FRIES there are none. runny uncooked EGG. SINGLE EGG. this was not eggs!!!! and a block of cheese not melted into COLD WET RUNNY UNDERCOOKED EGG. with rotten tomato.

Bagels as close to NY as you’ll get in South Florida. Really good.

easily the best bagel around. got a Nova Lox on Jalapeno and it was so fresh, delicious and soft ( some bagels you bit and can break your teeth at other places) definitely a good compromise on Einstein bagels.

Delicious fluffy bagels with a nice chew. My fave is just a salt bagel which eats just like a soft pretzel. Also the Everything bagel with cream cheese, sliced Nova lox, tomatoes, onions and capers is outstanding. Bilingual Spanish/English staff is very efficient, polite and courteous. I love this place!

A lot of the employees do not understand English which presents a big problem. We continue to get wrong orders and then when you complain, Management gets irate. The employees should speak and understand English a bit more. They are nice but a major language barrier.

Ordered off Uber eats! Put on order PLEASE SCRAMBLE EGGS! Call store ask for eggs to be scrambled twice, guy sounded kinda annoyed. Eggs were NOT Scrambled. Lol $18 for a sandwich I don’t want. Smh

The Reuben sucked. There were a few slices of corned beef, wheres the fringing meat? Bread was not even toasted enough, just a sloppy mess. I threw it in the trash.

Hey yo I loved the bacon egg and cheese,and it’s my first time here, it reminded me of the New York authentic taste I love it! But the home fries weren’t the home fries I thought it would be! Never again with that but yes I’m going back for that bacon egg and cheese! Seriously Get it asap it taste very good! 🙏

This place is always good- it’s a go to if you love bagels. There’s some yummy ones. They’re the best, and make almost anything you can imagine in a bagel sandwich or when it comes to breakfast dishes. I love their cafe bar to spruce up your own coffee and the seating. I only wish there were more diary free options.

My first time visiting Makebs,I got the everything bagel with bacon egg cheese and home fries. The sandwich was So freaking delicious, what makes it delicious is the flavor of the bagel not every breakfast place has a good taste on their bagels.I will definitely come back for the breakfast sandwich.4 stars because I didn’t like the home fries.I didn’t eat it,not a fan of the flavor and texture.Home fries should be more crispy and different flavor.The seasoning for that home fries remind me of what I would eat with chicken and rice platter.Sandwich though was awesome!Coming back for that!

We hail from Brooklyn, NY, so when we were looking for bagels, I noticed they make pizza too. I took a chance and asked if they have bialys? YES!!! The bialys and bagels are great. The guy behind the counter was polite and informative. Coffee was good too. I’d like to see more Vegan spreads like non-dairy cream cheese and hummus but peanut butter is available. They have egg dishes, like omelettes, nova, tuna and many other items. Check-‘em out!

Love having a Makebs in the neighborhood. BUT the ordering system is not great. Twice we’ve been there, ordered….waited up to 30 minutes because our order somehow was lost, passed over, who knows. And we’re talking bagel sandwiches here…not complicated meals.(AND the bagels weren’t toasted ) Come prepared with your patience or avoid breakfast hours.

Second time I ordered online to pick up and my order was wrong, ordered a bacon egg and cheese on an egg bagel and I received an egg and cheese on a wheat bagel.

I have been getting takeout from here every weekend. Very consistent in quality and prefer their bagels over Brooklyn Water Bagel any day. The whole wheat everything is my favorite.

The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, the bagels always fresh and properly toasted but the absolute star is the fast friendly service.

Simple transaction, quick and easy. The girl who took my order was polite and smiling. Ordered 6 bagels and a 1/2 lb of cream cheese. Another smiling girl packed up my order and I was out the door in minutes. Will definitely be back when I crave a bagel👌

You guys should be embarrassed to be in the hospitality and food business I paid $16 this morning for six bagels and a side of scallion cream cheese and your guys at the register Wanted one dollar extra to slice the bagels for me.What a shame . Bagels are great had lox on bagel tasted great plenty of lox poorly executed. Not evenly placed so no lox on half to much on the other.

Great place for bagels always on par with the food. However it shouldn't take 20 min for a BEC on a bagel. Speed it up! I do love the place though.
