I don’t want to be mean. I just want to give feedback to your restaurant from my experience and I hope you can make it better and improve the quality of food. I and 3 other friends went to the restaurant and we ordered some dishes. The total bill was over $100 but we only ate a little bit :(((( one of my friends only ate the fried rice and the smell of oil was really old she got food poisoning and vomited after dinner. The hot pot was not fresh, the fish smelled stinky and we could see the seafood still frozen. I and another friend had an allergy reaction the day after. I really love Lau Oc so I hope you can improve the food quality. Thank you for hearing.

The Best fish sauce hot pot in America

As a Vietnamese we were pleasantly surprised how authentic and delicious this place is and the variety of Vietnamese street dishes on the menu compared to the usual standard ones was exciting. Vietnamese iced tea and rau ma were super refreshing and the service was also friendly and quick. 10/10 experience

The flavor along with the humble setup brought me back home to Vietnam! The salad is not doubt the best for me - so refreshing and yummy. All the ốc small plates and big plates are worth to try as we can tell that they are cooked fresh and flavors are impeccable. We live in NYC but we make sure to visit Mama Lau and Oc every time we are in Orlando. The service was very good and everyone was super friendly. Would totally recommend and look forward to going back and checking out all other dishes.

they charge a 3 percent minimum tip if you go into the restaurant and then a 3 percent credit card charge regardless of the total bill. Service is terrible as you can tell its the owner's children don't get any tips or aren't being paid to be servers

Delicious food but at a slightly higher price point for some dishes when compared to equivalent restaurants. The Vietnamese hotpot was authentic and snail dishes were good!

The food was fantastic, and truly authentic to Vietnamese cuisine. On the contrary, the service here was horrendous. The girl server gave a nasty attitude, slamming the tea cups on the table with anger after we sent the tea back. Personally, service is as important and occasionally even more important than the food served, which was why I gave this rating. As I looked at other ratings, other customers have had the same feedback on the service.

Went here with my family. The food was absolutely delicious and we finished everything. Great service and friendly employees. Me and my family definitely enjoyed our time here.

The first time we came here on a trip, the food prices here were a bit high, but every dish only had a few snails. In terms of seasoning every dish was too sweet, as for the hot pot dish we ordered a large pot for 7 people In principle vermicelli always included with hot pot but they charged extra for vermicelli while we didn't order it, this is too unreasonable, and the staff is not Friendly and not happy when serving customers. This is the first and last time I come here and will not return

My family visited the restaurant last week and ordered quite a few dishes. Including steamed snails with lemongrass. The inside of the snail is full of mud and the snail's water is black. I called the employee out and replaced the snail with a new one, but when the new snail was brought out, the inside of the snail was still full of mud. OMG . Everyone, remember to check carefully before eating. Next is the snail dish steamed with lemongrass, oh my god, I'm offering one to try and the smell of the snail is horrible. And the attitude of the staff is really not welcoming.

Would not recommend! They do not strive to provide good service or good food would be the best description of my experience. First off I was greeted with a irritated frown and rolling eyes from our girl server. She kinda smacked every plate and bowl on the table without making eye contact loudly and aggressively. The hot sizzling bowl of fish was dropped the hardest and splashed hot oil on my arm and face.....only then did she make eye contact with me and no apology she just looked at me dumbfounded and walked away with a blank face. The food was very bland (tasteless) I should have brought my own fish sauce or salt. The gratuity was included in the check for $30 wish I had cash so I only payed what was owed and could have deducted the tip out myself. I was very excited to try this place since I saw 4 stars but looks can be deceiving!

A hidden gem in Orlando, beyond my expectations and food is authentic

We thoroughly enjoyed the Thai Hot Pot and a variety of snail and clam dishes at this vietnamese dining establishment in Orlando off of Colonial Drive. The razor clams with the tamarind sauce, fried shallots, crushed peanuts are absolutely amazing. And you can't go wrong with their classic, the steamed clams with lemongrass and chili. Saved as my new favorite restaurant in Florida.

The foods were appealing and flavorsome. As well as the service. And i love how they put the greaves more than any store i went too before. Which make the dried noodles taste better.

We went here with a goup of 5. Foods were good. Hadn’t tried their hotpot but everything else (most of them) was good. Service needs some improvement though. They weren’t rude or anything; they just mixed up our order and were happy to fix it. Would definitly recommend this restaurant!

Would not recommend. Horrible service and food. Response to Owner: I came in with my family (group of 6) on May 25th around 8:30 pm and let me just say, we have never experienced such bad service in our lives. The young waitress came to get our order and was giving us such a “welcoming” eye roll. Then when it was time for the food to come out, she slammed the HOT STONE caramelized fish onto the table which splashed on us. Not to mention the ozempic food portions were not good and too overpriced. We do not mind spending money on good FOOD AND SERVICE, but with the way this restaurant operates. It’s a waste of my time and money. If you want to say that I am slandering your restaurant, I hope you go check ur cameras and other bad reviews you have before accusing me of doing so. Waitress has no manners or respect for customers. Do Better 😒

This is my first time coming to this hot pot restaurant. I ordered 2 spring rolls for my youngest son. He ate one and a half, and left half of it. My daughter tried it and said mommy the spring rolls were sour. I smelled them and they were stale. , I asked her to serve me again, I whispered, honey, the spring rolls are stale, go and tell the owner so they don't sell them to others, she came out after a while, the owner came out to talk to her. After a while the owner came out, I thought she was apologizing but unexpectedly she said, sister, I put the spring rolls in the freezer, I brought them out later, why do you say I'm doing strange business, what do you mean I'll say more, I asked again, according to you, those spring rolls are not spoiled, why should we keep silent? But I'm angry here that I didn't say anything strange and sad, my husband was always there He also said that my wife never said that, and he didn't know why that girl didn't come back What a strange owner, the food was stale, I didn't blame him but went looking for something to do with the customers, I've never seen it before, there wasn't even a single word of apology, I was so angry that I couldn't swallow it, I didn't eat it at all, the beef in the hot pot was black. (with attached image) The first and last time I dared not come, the day I went down to Orlando to visit my children, I lost my joy. When it was time to pay, they added a $35 tip. At this point, I got really angry and asked for the tip back. They refused to check it. At this point, I shouted for everyone to hear. Only then did I want to return the tip.

This place is Devine. Clean nice restraunt with friendly staff. But the BEST part was the Blood Clams with Scallion and the deep fried soft shell crab in a Tamarind sauce!!! Can't wait to return

The worst experience of my life. I order spring rolls and when I started eating them I realized there were long brown worms inside. When I showed it to the restaurant owner again he told me that those were rice paper worms 😡 don't worry because that was normal. It is not normal to find worms 🪱🪱🪱 in your food

On our way back from visiting the Bok Tower Garden also called the singing tower, we stop in Lẩu Ốc for dinner that was recommended by a friend we met at a conference in Orlando. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, she recommended several dishes that we loved. Our favorite was Lẩu Ốc Ba Miền and house drinks that she also recommended. I recommended that you give this place a try!

Absolutely love the vibrant flavors and freshness of their foods. Highly recommend trying Bun Bo Huế, bún thịt nướng and mama fried rice for a flavorful and satisfying experience!

Traveling to Orlando for the first time, wanted some comfort food, google reviews recommended this place. We ordered one Seabass Hotpot, total bill was 47$, did not think the price was fair for the amount of veggies and fish were given, the quality of the hot pot was average, nothing special. The little girl that was serving was really nice and cute but the male owner was talking to someone living in Vietnam in Vietnamese on speaker, making the atmosphere very uneasy and unpleasant. We will definitely not return.

I have heard many good thing about this place and got a chance to go there on my trip. The food really great, it Vietnam authentic.

Great selection of shellfish. We had snails, clams, mussels, and oysters. Some in lemongrass broth, some grilled. Incredibly bold and fresh flavors! Whatever you order, get garlic fries and extra green sauce on the side.

It's definitely the best vietnamese food in Orlando. We've been here for a week and have tried many, if not all, the other restaurants. We ordered the lau dac biet, there was so much meat and seafood along with fresh vegetables. The sweat n sour soup broth was just right. Also ordered the coconut snails, tasted fresh and delicious. We ended up coming here every day for the rest of the trip.

Our first time visiting and the hotpot was delicious.

Disappointing. We all went there to try primarily the seafood, i.e clam and snails as well as the Lau Hotpot to see how it differs from Chinese Hotpot. Encouraged by Youtube video by the Loeungs. All the items we ordered were primarily Clams and Snails. We held off on the Hotpot, because there was a bit of confusion on what this or that clam or snail is versus the others. We figured let's try the clams and snails first then order the Hotpot. To our major disappointment, all of the clams and snails were overcooked to the point that they were chewy, like a piece of tendon, that needs more time to cook. The razor clams was not as tough and chewy but very close. I do not know who was in the kitchen that afternoon, but why us? Was this leftover that got reheated? I keep thinking that maybe I should not compare these dishes to Italian Escargot, but common, I know seafood when it is overcooked. We obviously did not order the Hot Pot after this. We did randomly order the Fried Chicken Wings, and that was really the only thing that was decently cooked.

Follow through Facebook and referal, we came to try it out. We're from another state. I was so excited to try these food. Food is ok, not excellent, very pricy. I don't mind paying....for good food. We orders 8 dishes. Tra tac is good, 3 out of 8 orders was good ( hot pot + hot vit lon xao me + tra tac), the rest were ok, but the worst were the snails' dishes,not fresh. Customer service was terrible on top of expensive but not that great food! 3 young ladies were chatting away while my son was asking them for boxes. They look grumpy! they also gave themselves maximum gratuity (tips) because I wasn't going to give them good tip since it's not a good service at all! We actually kinda self serve! We just went and grab the to go boxes ourselves since they look like they don't want to work! Even if the food was just ok, but if they have great customer service it still a great place to come! it was going to be a 4 stars, but bad customer services just made it to 2 or 1 star! Their faces indicate either they don't want to work, forced to work, or they just don't want customers! I just hope they will communicate and treat next customers more welcoming since you are representing the business! Take care!

It’s the first time I come here! The dishes are very good 👍 and delicious 🤤 , especially the dish of Thailand sour and spicy 🥵 hot pot! The owner is very friendly and professional! If you come to this place, the owner will offer you the Tra Tac 32oz that is very tasty 😋, sweetie and cold!!!! We came here with 7 people, each person tried different kind of dishes and will come back!
