Great authentic Philadelphia food! Loved trying new food. Loved the Bittermelon chicken! Food was a bit cold at times though... and space was limited. But great price, taste, and people.

Saw other reviews about how this feels like going to your Vietnamese Grandmas house and we could not agree more! Love that store is proudly Christian. The staff is so friendly the even remembered us our second visit. The food is very fresh with good variety, lots of unique things to try. Staff will explain the options as well as give recommendations. It's $15 per person all you can eat (including dessert) with a drink. Very fair pricing. This is a regular stop for us.

If you are looking for authentic filipino food, this is as good as it gets. Served in buffet fashion, as of 2024, it is $15 with a can of pop (very cheap in today's market) Lots of food reminded me of the typical homemade asian dishes that I had as a kid. The dish appearance may not look great but they were tasty. The hospitality is downright wholesome. They like to start up conversations with tourists and talk about culture. Most of their friends and family like cruises and they love talking about the experience with us

Finally! I find filipino food from a filipino owned business. Other than in the same shopping center, you won't really find that in Miami. Despite the fact I don't eat pork or seafood & that's more than half of the buffet, everything else was really good. Even the laing confused me, it was really good even though I can pick up on the shrimp flavor. The Cassava cake & ube rice was to die for. It's the desserts to go & the market that I enjoyed even more; Just because I'd rank those 2 things over the buffet doesn't mean anything negative, in peak hours, nearly every seat was taken. If you love bringing business to family owned restaurants & stores, this is a must. I will be coming back to buy ube to make my own food!

Obviously good, Asian people are known to be friendly when serving as waiters 😄 when they come for lunch it's almost always full.

Visiting Government Center a few blocks away! So, I heard about this small, family-run Filipino Bodega & buffet. Right on Flagler street, where by the way there is a lot of sidewalk construction & detours, but the restaurant is hiding there! About 20 tables squeezed together in the front with a steam table in the rear. One of the owners will assist with your food selections if you desire, very helpful. I tried about 10 different dishes & found the flavors to be Suttle & flavorful. Again it's AYCE for $12. They have Filipino groceries, snacks & sauces for sales. Good stop!

The best Filipino food I’ve ever had at a restaurant!!! Today I was craving a home cooked filipino meal but didn’t have the energy to cook. The food surpassed my expectations and the workers were so welcoming. I am so glad I found this place and will definitely be returning. From the food to the customer service, I could not recommend this place more. Not only did they feed me but they filled a void of missing my family, an experience I haven’t had in a very long time.

I have been looking forward to eat here before in “MANILA KANTINA”. Now I got an opportunity to dine in this Resto. The filipino foods were really sumptuous. My cravings has been satisfied. The service is really great. They will let you experience and let you feel how hospitable the filipinos are and the owner “Judith” is really hands on and she make sure that her customer/ guests is really okay and being accommodated well. Manila Kantina is not just a Buffet Resto but they have also mini grocery inside where you can find loads of filipino products. This is a one stop shop.

Growing up in a Filipino household, I’ve found it hard to find a Filipino restaurant that comes close to feeling like home, until I found Manila Kantina. The food here is authentic, delicious, and the best deal you’ll find in Miami - $12 for an all-you-can-eat buffet experience! On top of that, the staff is incredible friendly, welcoming, and eager to help you. Mama Judith makes it feel like home every time I visit. She has even cooked fried eggs for me when they weren’t a buffet item. I also love that they have a huge selection of Filipino groceries so I can take staple ingredients home to make my own Filipino cuisine. I come here regularly and always bring guest visitors. With all the cruise workers that stop by, it feels like you’re stepping into the Philippines. You won’t have this experience anywhere else in Miami. Whether you’re new to Filipino cuisine or a fan, this place is a must-visit!!

First time trying Philipino cuisine. This place is a buffet but I chose to go for takeout. For $12, I got a platter with the favourites like lechon (roast pork belly), adobo, fried chicken, longanisa sausage, lumpia (spring roll), pancit (stir fried noodles), and steamed rice. The food was great, and the service was impeccable. A family run spot with the nicest people. It was full of Philipino people at lunch which means it's legit. I would definitely recommend and return.

My new favorite restaurant in Miami, if not in all of Florida. The buffet has so much to choose from, the fish, shrimp and lechon were my favorites. Everything is so good..make sure you try it all! Super reasonably priced - only $12 per person, the quality is authentic, the flavors, unmatched. The people are so nice and hospitable - while we were eating they asked if we wanted drinks and took the trays when we were done. They also have desert and coffee. Feels like home, if I knew home to be the Philippines!

This place is so special. It's the hospitality that is so unique. You will feel like you are at your grandmother place to visit and pick up a plate. The food is good but the owners greets you with so much love. The prices are reasonable and I spent only 12 with drink. There was chicken adobe, pork belly adobe, pancit, and lumpia. This place is definitely a jewel and you take family to this place for casual eating.

Probably one of my favorite places on the planet right now. I loved everything about. Admittedly, they have the home team advantage because I'm Filipino. But there was just so much about the place that made me happy. To start, the food was absolutely phenomenal. It was exactly like everything I grew up eating. Just like the scene in Ratatouille, when the food touched my tongue, I flashed back through my entire life. It literally made me tear up recalling all those memories. The fact that it's an old school little shop right in the heart of Miami absolutely makes me smile. Around the corner are the signs for a new restaurant opening in a few months. Pictures of supermodels in swimsuits eating high end meals in the desert for some reason. Just lots of "douchy" vibe in that area. And right I'm the middle of it, is Manila Kantina with their wonderful buffet using foam plates. I'd take this spot any day over that DustMiami place. And let's talk about the staff. Sweet little Nanay (Grandma) literally hands you a tray with plates and utensils and says, "KAIN NA!" And she's the cook. I kind of don't want anyone else to go there because I don't want to ruin this perfect little place. But I'd be doing it a disservice if I didn't say how much I loved everything about it. So go try it out. But don't bring too many people, please!!!
