Really nice place. Very well decorated with nice ambiance. Service is excellent. I ordered the tostones montados de chicharon they were so good I was expecting more from my macitas, definetly Dominicans can't make juicy masitas like Puertorricans. They were soooooo dry and hard neither my friend or I ate them. The mofongo had ripe plantains on it so the taste was off. I also tasted the Lomo a la plancha but didn't really like the marinate my wife did like theLomo. First and last.

I recently dined at a Mar D’ Plata Dominican restaurant that left a lasting impression with its delicious flavors and exceptional drinks. The Chicharron appetizer was delicious My meal choice was the Pechuga Salteada con Camarones with mangu, and it was truly a delight. The dish featured perfectly sautéed chicken breast and shrimp, complemented by the smooth and flavorful mangu, making for a hearty and satisfying meal. My wife opted for the chicken and pasta, and she was equally impressed. The dish was well-prepared, with tender chicken and a rich, savory sauce that paired perfectly with the pasta. The margaritas were the best we've had in a long time, with a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess that made it refreshing and memorable. This Dominican restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic flavors and exceptional drinks. The food is delicious, and the passion fruit margarita alone is worth the trip. We'll definitely be returning soon to explore more of their menu. I told a friend of mine and they went and were highly impressed. I highly recommend tasting the flavors of DR.

Great Dominican restaurant spot! Flavorful food with most of the traditional Dominican plates on the menu. Servers make you feel at home! The wife had Mofongo with garlic shrimp that was delicious and the skirt steak I had was juicy tasty. Sorry no pics we were really hungry lol!

A very calm atmosphere, delicious food!

Awesome food and great service. All of the food was savory from the empanadas de yuca to the entrées and sancocho.

I waited for 10 minutes before a got up and walk out. No acknowledgement the place was nice but empty the servers were around the bar having their own conversation while I was sitting waiting. Definitely a turn off for me. Good luck

The best food in the West Palm Beach area. I was delighted with the service and the food. Definitely the best mangu I have ever eaten in my life. I'm from New York, and I will never find a place like Mar D' Plata aya.

Food is great. But if I order take out online and it’s 11pm and says food will be ready by 11:50pm . There should be no reason, I am still here standing and waiting at the bar for my food at 12:15am, that’s one over an hour in general for the order to be prepped and ready , then now another almost 30 minutes I have been standing here . I was even asked what kind of empanadas I wanted showing that they didn’t even start my order . This has happen before , the last time I ordered , I thought it was a fluke because the food was good , so I ordered again, and thought maybe since it’s a 100$+ order , it would be ready on time , but none the least it wasn’t even started yet. I will not be coming back and will let people know the difficulties of this restaurant . So unfortunate, when they have good food, but awful service .

We were at the restaurant today and received excellent service from Yadi, very friendly and explained to us in detail what we wanted and offered us options. Recommended 100x100. Not to mention the food, everything was too good.

Mar D’ Plata is one of the best restaurants in West Palm Beach. My husband and I have breakfast at Mar D’ Plata regularly and every dish is delicious! The presentation is always nice - like a high end cruise ship! Yady is usually our server and she is very attentive, polite, and has beautiful eyes! So, visit soon and you will not be disappointed, for sure! One last comment; the ambiance and atmosphere is lovely. Whoever the owner is has vision and good taste.

We were able to sit wherever we wanted and ordered right away. The food came to the table so fast. It smelled impeccable and it tasted even better. It was definitely hot and fresh. I was in the mood for mangu and I certainly got exactly what I asked for. Also, one of my favorite drinks was on the menu, to die dreaming, it tasted just like I remember from my Grandma's recipe. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Dominican restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The customer service was top-notch, Jendys is amazing ahe always make sure that everything is perfect, with attentive staff who made us feel right at home. The restaurant’s charming decoration added to the overall ambiance, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Went here for lunch and couldn't be happier. The food is delicious and the service was great. Will definitely be back.

I had a horrible experience here. When I come in and sit down, they give us the bread and then take an extremely long time to bring our food that is either cold or barely hot. I ordered a hamburger and fries for my son and I had to ask for ketchup. On top of that, when i complained that my food was cold, they take another eternity to bring back my food that is still cold. Also, I ordered a steak medium rare and it came well done. At this point, I don't even want my food and ask my husband to ask for a check. When he does that, the waiter blames me and says that they brought the steak medium rare (they did not) and that I refused the food, but she never said why. Afterwards, she took the order of the check, which is the bare minimum, but doesn't even bother to give a single apology, and the check still came out to over $100. After all of this, I go to the bathroom that has an uncomfortable white atmosphere. I recommend never coming to this restaurant.

The very nice place. They have to put more effort into the food when it comes to serving it to the table. The menu does not show 💯% Dominican gastronomy. The musical environment must have variation in music. The boy sings well, but he only pleases small groups of clients of the house, when he should please all the visitors.😩😩😩In conclusion; I'm not coming back again!!

This place is amazing! Best bang for your buck. My coworkers and I work at the airport and ordered lunch and everyones food was amazing! I personally got the fried fish and it was not only an giant portion but the flavor reminded me of home. Truly a great spot we will be repeating soon!

I’m always impressed by the breakfast here, it makes it hard to want to go anywhere else. The prices are generous and the food is delicious! Incredible bang for your buck and if you go on a Sunday you can get a free mimosa along with the cafe con leche that comes with your food. Don’t sleep on this breakfast gem!

A friend recommended this restaurant, and I immediately checked out the reviews. Based on the reviews, I felt skeptical that this was going to be a good Dominican Republic restaurant. As always, though, I need to try it for myself before making a sound decision. I'm so glad I did. We went during lunch and it wasn't too busy, this place is pretty new. I had been to this place when it was another restaurant, and I will say they did a great job at redoing the inside. Lots of seating, a nice bar area, and an outdoor patio with plenty of seating as well with nice decor (I'd definitely do a small birthday party or event there). The restaurant also has lighting and speakers throughout, so you know that at a certain part of the day, my Dominicans throw it down party style. Let's talk about food.... started off with some beef empanadas, and they were good. Not greasy, crunchy outside, and flavorful filling. They were brought out with some pique, and it was fire , oh so good. I could eat that with everything! The 4 golpes con mamgu was delicious. The mangu was suavecito. The chefs did not cheap out on the pickled red onions.‍ The pernil with habichuelas rojas (red beans) and rice took me back home good. Arroz con gandules with pollo a la plancha (which was a huge chicken breast) did not disappoint. Oh, and how could not mention the Morir Soñando which is like an orange Creamsicle in a glass, delicious. Ended the meal with a little cafecito. Our server was awesome, very attentive. She was such a pleasure to speak with. Very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations The experience was great, and i will definitely be returning. Hopefully, it will be later in the evening so I can get dancing bachata with all the lights and music .

This place is fantastic. A real hidden gem. Great food, great service, very nice atmosphere and their prices are very reasonable. We had the ceviche which was wonderful. There are a lot of good options like churrasco and empanadas which we didn't try but we will definitely be back. Their happy hour is fantastic, their cocktails were really good for the price. We will definitely be back!

This place is one of the best! I stopped by with my wife randomly and everything was excellent. The place is super nice and clean with a super friendly staff. The food was more than amazing! I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Unfortunately we had an experience with a lot to be desired, not to use grotesque words but the food is not well prepared at all, you order one dish and they bring you another, it takes a long time to bring you the food, quality vs price, I do not recommend it and I would not return.

Everytime I go here it's like being around family. Love it here, if you haven't been you should make a trip. The food, service, atmosphere is awesome. At night it turns into dancing and karaoke in special nights. Live entertainment as well on special nights. You must check it out.

My friend and I passed this unassuming restaurant and decided to go... The decor is lovely, the atmosphere is very comfortable, service is excellent. Authentic Spanish food cooked to perfection. Savory dishes Large portions, presented on lovely plates. We brought home our remaining orders and were happy we stopped in. I am going back this week with my mother. Great for any occasion... Staff is excellent. Reasonably priced
