WOW! First time coming here and this place DELIVERED FOR SURE! 100/10!!! First time having rice and peas and I don’t think I will taste anyone else’s rice and peas! Oxtails, we’re phenomenal!!! The tender meat great seasoning, but the star that also put it all together was the Mac and cheese!!! This place is to die for and the owner, she is such a sweetheart. God bless her soul! PLEASE come and eat here, never will go to any other Jamaican restaurant again if it’s not Mr. Mack’s

This food was utterly disgusting. I am honestly not sure were all the 5 star reviews come from. Is your best chef off on Sundays? Ordered stewed fish with cabbage, rice and peas. Firstly there were no peas in the bland rice thrown on the plate. Second, the cabbage literally tastes like they just boil it and put it on your plate. Most importantly the fish was AWFUL! No flavor, no taste, no spices NOTHING!!! Every item that I tasted was a disgrace to the Jamaican community. There is no way this food was cooked by anyone who know's what they are doing. I will NEVER step out on faith again. I am in complete disbelief after wasting almost $40 on something that got thrown in the garbage. Do better, seriously!!!! Would not recommend to a dog.

Excellent really huge portion. Sooo creamy and cooked perfect.

I called in to inquire about sides and the woman on the phone said she’s busy and that I should pick sides when I got there. In ordered fried fish and got rice and cabbage. The fish tasted old and had no flavor. The rice was definitely old and mushy. The only thing I liked was the cabbage.

Mr. Mack's has delicious food and friendly staff. The Jerk Chicken with rice and peas is very tasty.

The worst !!!!!! I just went there to pick up an order and an old lady pcame at me asking what was is my order. I told her I ordered online, they should have my order. She asked for receipt. I went to my car, picked up my phone, and went back inside to show her my receipt. This is when she started to tell me a bunch of things that have nothing to do with me. I told her that what she is saying about how her system works is not my concern; I'm here to pick up an order. But she wouldn't stop talking. I wouldn't recommend that place to anyone. That lady doesn't know what customer service means. The client doesn't have anything to do with your business. keep it for yourself.

The owner is warm and welcoming. She is very professional, kind and friendly. Food is well season and tasty. The jerk chicken is legit... straight out of the jerk pan into your plate, no oven roast thing as others do. Definitely my number one what I am in Palm Beach County

I’m from Jersey and I eat a lot of Caribbean food back home. This is by far the best Caribbean food I’ve had since I been in West Palm Beach. I had the jerk chicken yesterday and the brown stew chicken today. They’re both so good I can’t choose which one was better. Also, the staff is very polite. When I go back to Jersey, I’ll miss this place!

We had Mr Mack's catering for our jobsite lunch event where we had around 90 people. Service was pleasant and food was enjoyed by everyone. Would definitely recommend.

My oxtail were tuff taste like rubber do not eat the oxtails. I paid 20 for trash. All I can say is order something else

Busy place the food is good and they are consistent, they run out of food but it's good when you get what is ordered or wanted.

Honest review: The jerk chicken was not cooked thoroughly and was very pinkish red on the inside my intuition told me to return in fear of getting sick..I returned it only for the lady to make an excuse that was just the seasoning…and if I want it darkened? Asked for a refund and she acted surprise by the request. I’ve eaten several jerk chicken..darken is burnt and I prefer to have well cooked food, seasoning is not going to fix pinkish red meat. Period!! The plantains were mushy so they weren’t even cook really..heard such good reviews but you never know until you try the spot yourself. This is a hard pass for me.

I bought food from here 2 times this year and it didn't taste good at all. I can't believe Jamaican people cook this food. It is the worst food I ever taste in my entire life!

Customer service did not wow me but was ok with no extra smiles, conversation excitement in the greeting and ordering. My plate was cold. It was meant to be hot...but was not.....I ordered a meat and two sides that should have been heated. Mac and cheese tasted like box Mac & cheese...the chicken seemed to have been sitting out for a while as the skin was hard and tough and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. None of the food was hot at all....it was given out at whatever temperature it was sitting out waiting to be given by order. I saw a good review that claimed they had good food....well....Im sorry...not for me.

We had a very authentic Jamaican dinner. I had to have some of that chicken off the grill, that I smelled blocks away ! My wife had the oxtail and she loved them! We live in Broward county, and will be coming back soon! It was clean and the locals were patronizing very well. I see why.👍🏾

Better tasting Jamaican food elsewhere. The curry chicken was fine. Rice and peas were fine as well. The Mac and cheese was not edible. Looked like something out of a box and tasted like it was going bad.

This restaurant serves one of if not the best stewed chicken I've ever had. As a chef and a foodie I can't compliment this food enough. The chicken was fall off the bone delicious with just enough heat to make my mouth water the Mac n cheese was perfect the potato salad was delicious and the red beans and rice was cooked to perfection. If you like Caribbean cuisine this place will knock your taste buds out cold. My new go-to place for Caribbean cuisine.

I was coming from the airport and I was hungry. I pulled up Google Maps, and the first thing I saw was Mr. Mack's! I haven't had Jamaican food in a good while, so I decided to hit them up. I initially thought it was just a food truck based on the images but no, there's an actual building there as well. The building was small, but to me, comfy. You can literally talk to the crew from any part of the place. So the food I got was a medium jerk chicken with mac & cheese and white rice. I thought it was pretty good. Mac & cheese was creamy, the jerk chicken had a nice kick, and the rice had gravy/sauce over it and made it even better. It was really good and if I ever come back to WPB, I'm definitely coming back here.

Unfortunately I went here because it was the closest option at the moment and I regret it deeply. Rice and peas was tasteless, oxtail tasted very old and sticky the girl asked if I wanted Mac and cheese which I thought was regular Mac and cheese but it was only pasta that was drenched in pasty cheese sauce. Now sure if I can finish the food. Honestly I don’t believe I will be giving them another chance. I hope they make some changes for the sake of their business.

Clearly my experience doesn't match that of most patrons. The staff is friendly, service is fast, atmosphere is okay, but the food - terrible. Ordered the jerk pork; let me just say, there is absolutely no danger of trichinosis from the pork. I could have used any of the pieces for a tire patch. Fried plantains were also cooked to the consistency of baby food. The spice was excellent, but I can only hope they had a substitute cooking the day I visited. Out of about a dozen pieces, only one was less than 25 percent fat. Some fat is great, yes, but I didn't order fatback. Very disappointing. I'll try it another day for another dish, but if this is standard fair...wow.

I ordered a large oxtail and I cannot believe I paid $20 for something that should be considered a small. I can’t imagine what the small oxtail looks like. Also, the plantains do not look fried at all. The food tastes ok. Not impressed at all.

One of the best places for Jamaican food. It my first but definitely not my last. The lady at the front that takes your order was very friendly , made us feel welcomed , made sure that our needs were being met because we sat down to eat. First and foremost, the online ordering for the lunch special is truly confusing. So what I ordered is not what I received. I wanted oxtails but ended up with stew chicken, which didn't taste too bad but definitely didn't get the authentic Jamaican cooking flavor out of it. The Mac & cheese tasted like it was in its way to spoiling. It actually hurt my stomach after a couple bites. I put steamed cabbage but it looked and tasted more like a warm salad. I put white rice, didnt get that either. I may give them another try a different day but not sure because I was truly disappointed . Though I do feel if my online order was confusing, they should have called the number attached to the order to get clarification rather than picking and choosing what to make.

This review is long overdue. We had an absolutely exemplary experience when we utilized Mr. Macs catering services for our dinner party. Ms. Annette is classy, professional and excellent in every way. She made the arrangements for our catering order and we and all of our guests were very impressed. We ordered ribs, jerked chicken, ox tails, macaroni salad, potato salad, peas and rice, plantains and cabbage. Our order was delivered on time, the care taken to set up our food display was immaculate, and every food item was cooked to perfection and prepared with love! The food was exceptional! Ms. Annette’s potato salad is amazing and the ribs were incredible (my favorites). We are already looking forward to our next event to have Mr. Mac’s catering again! Our experience was money well spent! Thank you Ms. Annette, Son and staff for outstanding service delivery and food quality. Absolutely delicious! It is my great pleasure to give a well-deserved and favorable recommendation.

I stayed at a local hotel and they had an ad for Mr. Mack’s. If you show your room key you get a free meal. The cashier had to get the boss, I’m assuming it was Mr. Mack. He said the free meal was the chicken, so we ordered chicken and oxtail meals. We added 2 beef patties, too. Everything was good. They were bumping dancehall, my favorite! I wanted to dine in for the music, but hubby wasn’t a big fan. :/

OMG! Absolutely YES!!! The food is more than delicious, The customer service, which is…treats you like family. I can not say enough good tings about it… we all had oxtail (which was 3 of us) because why would you not have oxtail at a Jamaican place???? Far from where I live, which is in Jacksonville but was in WPB because daughter was in town for a college summer program. Overall just thrilled about everyting bout it, wish I had more time to eat curry goat, soups and all of the good offerings here. JUST DO IT, GO THERE! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is a cute little hideaway restaurant with home cooked food. The people are always kind and give service with a smile. The restaurant and restroom is clean and well kept.

Amazing staff, amazing food, and amazing prices! From the second I walked onto the location I was met with the amazing smell of freshly smoked chicken hot off the grill. When I went inside I met the cashier who is one of the friendliest people I have ever met. She provided excellent recommendations for my friend and I without trying to upsell or anything of the sort. The food itself was some of the best chicken I have ever had in my life! I had the barbecue chicken and my buddy had the jerk chicken. The barbecue chicken was cooked to perfection and the jerk chicken had enough spice to make my friend slightly tear up, all while maintaining a massive amount of flavour. I don't live in the area unfortunately as I was just visiting, however I am eager to come back and visit this restaurant again. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal

How can you make Jerk Chicken without the jerk flavor? How can you make rice and peas with very few peas or seasoning. It looked like white rice with a hint of peas and no coconut Even the cabbage was underseasoned

The most authentic place for Jamaican food I’ve found with a great welcoming atmosphere .. the jerk chicken & brown stew chicken hits the spot every time .. only thing is my orders were made incorrectly but human error is understandable .. that’s the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 ..

Initially came because of a coupon but they didn't honor it. The employee raised her voices at me as if its my fault its my being advertised. I really wanted jamaican so I decided to get food there anyway. My jerk chicken was ok but the cabbage was way to spicy so I had to toss it. My friends escovich fish left little to be desired. Actually there was the smallest amount of fish on the bones once you open it up. On top of that it was abiut $20 for the platter which is way too over priced for the amount of fish you get. My friend was quite upset and left hungry. Had to buy a whole other meal at the next restaurant.

I recently had Mr Mack’s cater a birthday party for 65 people and they did not disappoint! The customer service was excellent thanks to Annette. The food was absolutely delicious, everyone raved about it. Several people contacted me after the party to find out who catered it and pricing etc! I am certain we will use them again!! Thank you!!
