We went to celebrate the wedding of some very dear uncles! My favorite dish was the grilled octopus! Very yummy and the varied causes too! The traditional ceviche had a very good flavor and taste and the non-alcoholic piña colada fascinated me.

We found it! Esteban and Paola were absolutely amazing, providing us with a service that was nothing short of extraordinary. Super nice establishment. Clean and well organized. Spectacular food. The attention of the waitresses is highly recommended and well qualified about Peruvian gastronomy. My family and I were satisfied and we will surely return. It is one of the few establishments that maintains the tradition of food in its origins. The chef's seasoning is above expectations. The owner, Mr. Arturo, a gentleman who was always present and attentive if something was wrong or needed. I recommend it 200% percent 💯

Started off with some Passion fruit juice and that was great. Foodwise, had the lomo saltado and that was pretty tasty; the smokey flavor was immediately evident. Wish the portions were bigger.

Mares is really one of the best Peruvian restaurants out here in Orlando so far. Our server Esteban was super nice and helpful in explaining everything! The lomo saltado and the tacu tacu a lo macho were amazing! It’s really hard to find authentic Peruvian food in Orlando but this place is one of them! I also got chocolate cake and the crema volteada which were great too. Overall loved this place and would recommend it to anyone who wants to try authentic Peruvian cuisine!

"I regret to say that I will no longer be dining at this restaurant, which used to be my favorite. Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly. The ingredients now seem to be of lower quality, portion sizes have been reduced, and the prices have become excessively high. My husband ordered a lomo saltado, and it was a disappointment—the meat was of poor quality. It feels as though they charge for every little thing, which is unfortunate because this was once an excellent place."

My family and I enjoyed an excellent dinner. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, perfect for a great meal. The service was top-notch; Nicolás and the rest of the team made us feel very welcome. We ordered lomo saltado, arroz chaufa (both with beef and chicken), and sushi. Every dish was spectacular, full of flavor and freshness. The drinks and beer were also excellent. I recommend this place to any food lover looking for a complete dining experience. We will definitely be back.

I have come a few times now and the food and service is always great. Everyone has been very friendly. My server Esteban made some great suggestions for which plates to try and took excellent care of me.

A simple place, the ceviche was not fresh, the shrimp were hard and the onions were not at all crunchy. The rice lacks any flavor. Not authentic Peruvian food.

MARES is a 5 starts Peruvian restaurant located in OrlandoFlorida. I think what makes diferent to another restaurant, is the taste, of diferentes dishes, Peruvian food is unique in the world. I visited different restaurants only this restaurant it is on point. The porción, the presentation, the time to wait, the clean to the restaurant and the comunicación to the staff. Mares it is totally different. 100% recommended.

We came to MARES for dinner and we had a great experience. We were a party of three and we ordered Pisco Sours, Maretazo Ceviche, Pulpo Parrillero, Tostones Rellenos, Parihuela and Alfajores. The drinks were very nice, and the food was delicious and satisfying. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent.

Delivery order was very bad, ended up throwing 90% out. Very confused how this place has such good reviews. Update (3 years later) We randomly ended up at this place 3 years after our initial bad delivery review. Ordered a bunch of food. The power went out to the building for a few minutes, staff was super friendly. The food was very fresh and delicious, authentic Peruvian flavors. Desert was nice too. Highly recommend this place (now)

Our server Esteban was right on point, made us feel welcome and explained some dishes on the menu. About the food, I had the Lomo Salteado the portion of food was sutiable for a 6 year old kid, 8 pcs of lomo about 1/2 inch each in size....way over price for the quality and size of the porción. Everything else was good.

I will go every time I’m in the an Orlando area. It’s incredible food

The food is good but is pricey for what you get. Service is alright nothing bad nothing good just average. The space is not kids friendly actually is uncomfortable so don’t bring your whole family or a group for a dinner celebration or you will be disappointed.

We ordered the "Mares Trío" ($38) which comes with seafood fried rice, ceviche, and calamari. Check out the "calamari" that comes with it. The food is overvalued, it is a shame!

The best Peruvian food in Orlando

I was so glad to visit this restaurant in Hunters Creek , food is just amazing !

It was my first time visiting this restaurant. I did it with my wife and two other people. It was for business and we loved everything about this place. The waiter's service was great and very helpful, as he explained everything to us. The food was super tasty, the atmosphere is very good and even more so if you are going on business. They offer music at a good volume, which does not interfere when one needs to talk. We were so pleased that we were looking forward to trying several other things on the menu, but that will be for another time.

Lomo saltado and the ceviches are very good, the octopus is too much for an app and lacks a little flavor, the ATTENTION/SERVICE IS VERY BAD!!!

We really had other expectations regarding that restaurant since we have eaten in different Peruvian restaurants and the food is delicious and the service is unsurpassed. Something that the Mares restaurant does not have, the treatment towards us was not the best since the lady who served us at all times did not know my husband, I never asked him how his food was, I don't really know if it is because of racism To the point that he gave the bill to me and the one who pays for everything is my husband, which I see as very bad taste, which is why I don't recommend that place like other Peruvian restaurants. It's a shame that in this time racism is so marked

This place has a beautiful atmosphere and it’s a gorgeous restaurant with such a beachy classy feel. The food was spectacular as well. The lomo saltados meat was soft like butter and tasteful. The ceviche was very flavorful and just straight up delicious. Beautiful restaurant and even better food!

I discovered this restaurant today, it is somewhat hidden, the food is exquisite! We ordered a grilled octopus, sushi and some stuffed tostones, all divine!! We were served by a super friendly red-haired boy, I recommend this place 100%!!

This place is a hidden gem! The food is amazing! In particular the octopus and the sushi. But the welcoming attitude of the host takes it to another level. Everything we had here was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The menu is nothing ordinary, can’t wait to try everything else on it.
