I tried calling the Google Review experts to request a 6th star but apparently it was technologically impossible. However, you know what was possible? Haley, our server. She was annoyingly awesome. I made my children observe her in action to learn how to hopefully mimic her attention to details and sweet demeanor while interacting with humans. She was so nice I wanted to be mean to balance out the good and evil in this fallen world. Anyhow, the wings were banging and I’ll trade my youngest child for another 10 of their garlic parm hot. Supposedly, that’s illegal but I’m currently Googling the facts on that. They were also able to accommodate a meal for the vegan in our party! I myself was surprised because I intentionally chose this place knowing they didn’t cater to weaker vessels. Clearly I was wrong and they brought her a delicious meal. Supercalafragalisticexpyaladocious!

Tavern is always a vibe. Drinks are on point and the food is excellent. Great place to meet the grown and sexy locals if you're not trying to go all the way downtown.

El peor servicio lo he recibido en este lugar - the worst service ever! The server was very slow and mean. My daughter never got a drink. He was in a mad mood and in a rush with no one in the restaurant cause literally is was our table in the restaurant. At the end he was trying to include the 22% of tip automatically and when we talk to about it he said *please don’t come back again* (rude guy) really poor owner with this employees making this place down. We learn but of course we NOT coming back to this place. The food also was bad and salty.

Looking for a new place in the area and we found this little gem. We had a mojito and a whiskey sour, both were delicious. Also had the spicy shrimp, the Kentucky sliders, loaded fries and the beef tostones. Everything was delicious. All of it tasted fresh and cooked in clean oil. The service was great as well. Very laid back atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Place is a cool little bar. Chill environment. Jack Daniel's burger was really good. French fries really good. Old Fashioned was ehhhh. Got a seat immediately and had a server immediately. Getting three stars because of the server, Torres. I'm sure she is usually a good server but definitely wasn't for us. Had RBF and stared at us like she wanted to punch us 😄. We ordered burgers and one of them we asked for no cheese (can't have dairy, Lactose intolerance). Burger came with cheese, no biggy, asked for it to be made without. Straight out of the movies Waiters 😄, they took it back and scraped the cheese off and hand it back. As you know, cheese melts so pieces were still in it, ntm, all the other toppings were removed. The toppings that make it what it is. Idk if you all have seen Waiters, but you don't eat the food after they "fix" your complaint 🤣

Good place to hangout. The food is great. Hope to see more Vegan friendly food menu without garlic and onion. Outdoor drinking area is nice. Too much mosquitos. No vegetarian/vegan dish on menu. I reduced from 5 Stars to 3 Stars.

Dark and dreary place - we came at lunch - not much for vegetarians - so we left without eating.

I went today, 04/30/2024, at night with my husband, it was 930pm and a boy named Juan or Jose actually attended, he was very arrogant and hateful, I don't even know why he was the only one who was serving at the bar, I I went to a tavern for years and even celebrated the farewell of years with my whole family. Oh, I went to eat some tostones with my husband today and I normally order 2 corne and one pernil and the boy, that is, the bartender told me that no, it was meat Or it was pork when for years I have ordered them in the same way we had already ordered a bucket of beers and trying to talk to him so that he could sell them to me and there was no way that it would be that way and we decided to go without taking the beers and without eating very bad experience that boy really made us live

Hidden gem! They have great house made infused liquors and tasty recipes. Chocolate old fashion and strawberry balsamic mule are pictured. Jalepeno fruit shots are highly recommended. Definitely a must stop if in the Hunters Creek area.

First day in Orlando and we stop at tavern at the creek for their happy hour specials and drinks and let me tell you.. this place did not disappoint!! The strawberry house margarita was so yummy and the pork tostones were absolutely delicious!! The best I’ve had. Juan was our waiter and bartender and he was great! Highly recommend! Wish we had this place back home!!

After going to Tavern several times in the past year and bringing family and telling friends how awesome the food and the atmosphere was then going last night expecting the same after traveling from Haines City. I will tell you we will not recommend or visit this place ever again as everything has changed including food portions and limited drinks and also no more sushi available. I believe they changed owners and the business is going to hell”WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY”.

Used to be a good place, I decide to give it another opportunity because last time they overcharged me 60 dollars, I came in today and no drink menu, no food, no sushi. The server was totally unprofessional saying no to anything and we decided to leave. I don’t know what’s going on but definitely go somewhere else. If you don’t even have a menu where I can see the prices how can I trust you?

I have a disabled brother-in-law who was down from New York to visit, and I wanted to take him out for drinks. So, decided to stop into the Tavern because I had frequented their place for the past several years and have never been let down. Well, when we went in, the entire staff treated us like royalty. It can be hard with my brother-in-law because we never know how people will respond to him, but the team at the Tavern were amazing! We had a great time, and not only was the staff awesome, but the clientele was equally as amazing. By the time was left there, we were so relaxed and so grateful because of the service we received, but also because of the humanity that existed in this great local tavern. This is one place that I would recommend that anyone looking for a drink, a snack, or for some great new friends to visit. I met the owners, and they could not be more down to earth and gracious. 5 stars across the board.

What a great little place for the area. The food and drinks are consistently on point.

Is the food decent, ya, we enjoy the Cuban sandwich. The service is always poor, but we expect that. However the last time we went in there were some extra charges we weren't aware of. First there's a sauce list displayed proudly on their bar top, so we asked for a couple sauces to dip our fries in. No where on that menu or the main menu did it say sauces were $1.50 each!! Something our server could have let us know as well. It was not printed anywhere that the truffle fries cost an extra $2 with the Cuban, it's displayed as one of the side choices that comes with the Cuban. And finally no where on their menu did it say they charge an extra 4% if you use a credit card. Do you really need to be shady and nikel and dime your customers like this???

We loved the professional service we received. Sorry I didn’t get her name, but she was the bartender/server. The food was so fun because it was not the usual. We had the ribeye quesadillas with yuca fries and empanadas. Both were delicious. Don’t shy away because it looks like a small, dark “bar”. It is a quaint, professional feel. The owner came by to check on us, which is always nice. Oh! Plus they make great cocktails.

The food here was so impressive! great quality and such a good variety. I assume everything can be modified for vegetarian/vegans. The service wasn’t amazing, but it was a busy Sunday night.

Nice hole in the wall place. Drinks were very good as was the food we got for happy hour. Bonus on a 4-8 happy hour every day. Enjoyed the loaded tostones, Latin roll and the Jack Daniels sliders from HH menu. Definitely coming back. Some servers better than others but minor issue.

We were visiting from Philly for a lax tournament. In a land of chain restaurants— we really wanted to support local. Well, this little gem was beyond all expectations. The people, the food, the-dive-bar-meets-elevated-menu vibe, the multi-cultural experience — damn near made this family of 5 emotional. THIS isn’t just the spot, it’s THE experience ….. we will be back. To the owners/staff— you all are THE BEST! The food, the drinks, the passion— you’ve nailed it. The only thing that made us sad was knowing we can’t just take the place home with us.

Everything perfect, as always! My friends and I have been here multiple times and we enjoy it very much, I even took a friend from out of town and they loved the place, the food, the atmosphere. The food and drinks always on point! My favorite is The Coconut Mojito and the Latin Sushi Roll. The happy hour is amazing also, I had 2 drinks, sushi and loaded fries and it was only about $40.

My first time coming tonite with the family and some friends, the place was packed we where told they where having an employee Christmas party but they still welcomed us we sat outside and the manager made us a table inside cause it was a little cold which was very nice. Johnny was our waiter and he was very nice and very attentive to us he gave us excellent service even tho the place was very busy. We had a great time the owner even came by and said hello and got us some more drinks. We are definitely coming back more often the atmosphere and service was phenomenal !!!

First time here for happy hour, their coconut and passion fruit margaritas "outstanding" greeted by their friendly staff, seated right away, fast service, ordered spicy shrimps and loaded tostones so "delicious". Great spot to meet up with family and coworkers.

I’ve been here 4-5 times. The bartender was picking her nose …. it’s good for white individuals to experience situations in which they are discriminated against. For myself to be discriminated against and treated differently than the other guests (all Latino) was a good thing, as everyone should experience being the minority…but I will not return. The staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable as a white woman traveling through the area alone.

It was a fun Halloween night! Only place we could find for Halloween open and we had fun 💃🏻✨ mix of Spanish and English songs. Bartenders were great and the lovely lady gave me a shot on the house. Staff is friendly and funny.

From the moment we walked in they were short staffed. However, you would have never noticed at the speed they were rolling. I mean all smiles and all business. I’m confident I witnessed a team of four take on like 30 customers. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Great experience for some out of towners.

the server was not good. it was really hard to get them to come over with more water, even with the bill. we were sitting there for about 15 minutes waiting for it. My guests had to leave so I ended up getting stuck with the whole bill. the suggested tip starts at 20% which they didn't deserve, but I didn't want to make it awkward in front of my remaining guest and type in anything, but dude, as a server, you didn't deserve that 20%.

We sat outside with our dog Max. Had a Cuban sandwich and drinks. James was our server and it was a very nice experience. Food was very good, a great evening overall. We have been to the Tavern several times and will be back. Just be aware, this is a very relaxed place and service can be a little slow. If you're in a rush (we were not), there might be other options to consider.

Update — the issue has nothing to do with removing food from the bill because I can afford it. My issue stems from the terrible customer service, rude server, and mischievous charges.

Good vibe, I like the real smoke used in the old fashioned drinks. Plus, happy hour everyday from 4-8 makes it a regular place for us.
