I have been a customer by proxy of Marina’s for many years and many great meals. When I say customer by proxy I mean that I have never set foot in the business, but have had many sandwiches and pizzas brought home to me to enjoy in my own home as I don’t get around very well these days. In this light, I don’t feel that I have the right to criticize the décor, the hostess at the counter who wears a perfume that I don’t care for, the napkin quality OR anything other than the food that Marina’s offers. As opposed to the occasional diss that a hit-and-run customer has to offer about a soggy pie.. I have never had anything that was less than what I would describe as “good”, but more often the word “excellent” bubbles to the top of my mind. Tonight my culinary understanding of the world was shaken to the ground. My usual “pizza pusher” defied my request for my usual and brought me home a Portuguese Pizza that even coming through the front door had me up and out of my living room chair with feet a full 2 inches up off the floor as I drifted to the kitchen behind him and that GLORIOUS aroma. WHO KNEW that such a concoction even existed..? er, well of course the Portuguese knew. My world has been changed by a pizza. Thank you Marina’s. Thank you so much!

Steak sandwiches are great pizza sauce a little sweet for me but ok

Let me start by saying how sad I am that I have to give this review. This place was my family's favorite pizza shop and this evening was the last time I patronize this business. I started by calling my order in for pick up. Ordered one large and one small pizza. When i arrived for pick up with two 7 yr old hungry girls I paid cash $38.25 and was given a receipt. Then I find out the pizzas were never made because the order disappeared. I asked that they remake them. "No problem" on my side but also no apology. When the order was finished I saw the young man pick it up and all the toppings slid almost completely off. The acting manager grabbed it and took it out of view for a few minutes then brought it back. The young man brought it to me and I said, I'd like to check the pizza. He told me to "go ahead" and walked away. I looked and slammed the lid of the box back in place and left extremely angry. The acting manager threw more toppings on the pizza and just gave it back to me. It tasted horrible! I decided to call and ask for the owners name so I could privately share with him my experience. Instead of that happening I was bated into an argument with the acting manager telling me I couldn't have the owners name. I explained it was on a business license within the shop and did I have to go in to get the name?! We continued with the argument even when I told him I just wanted to share my experience with the owner. He screamed at me, no, I couldn't have his name. Then he said, sorry. I replied, that's the first apology I got and NOW it's not good enough. We will never spend another penny in this place bc they clearly don't care about the customer. Saddened, appalled and dismayed.

More than just great pizza!! They have awesome italian food and the owner and his team are awesome!

Marina’s Pizza has some of the best tasting pies, hoagies and wings in town. The restaurant itself is quaint and down-home. The restaurant staffs youngsters/hogs schoolers. But you can tell the owners handpick nice kids. Very good servers who are conscientious about doing a good time. You cant go wrong having a meal here. I must admit I can’t speak of delivery as my family and I have always dined in. If you haven’t tried Marina’s yet, stop reading this and order up. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Order a carryout cashier said 20 minutes talk about 40 while my pizza set and got cold on top of the pizza ovens place not very clean staff not well organized pizza had three pepperonis on one piece and a mushroom the other piece had 20 pepperoni and new mushroom The other piece had 20 mushroom and one pepperoni very sloppily made definitely not the best experience

Nice local pizza place. I had the lasagna and it was a large portion with several layers of pasta, cheese, and sauce Everyone seemed to be enjoying the pizza and sandwiches. Give them a try .

Prices keep going up and the quality of the food can now, only be called mediocre. No servers to speak of, hence the sign on the front door" Servers Wanted". Seems like new ownership or just a totally new crew.

We were in the area, and we decided to try something different and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food, and it is much larger than it looks on the inside. The spaghetti and meatballs had a very good sauce, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this restraunt not only for the food but also our server was great. It is nice to see places that hire our local high school kids and give them the opportunity to learn job and customer service skills. Future electricians need that opportunity. 😉

I truly appreciate a pizza made with heart and Marina's is THE place in Lakewood Ranch where you'll find it. The staff is on top of their game and they cook the perfect pie!

They need to replace this waitress. For got the order for got the drinks forgot napkins. Really where is the training. But pizza was tops

Took a chance and stopped in for pizza. We are very particular about pizza and have only a few favorites. This was great NY Style pizza! The service was also outstanding! Will make this one of our regular stops.

Love their pizza. I usually have the meatball. My wife likes all their food. They even have a couple of TV's so you won't miss the game

Haven't ever had a bad meal there. We get subs every Thursday night and the order is never wrong and the food is great. Keep up the great work.

We spend a lot of time traveling from st pete to Sarasota and I have to say they have the absolute best pizza in the area . We had the margarita pizza and shrimp ah Diablo . The shrimp was cooked to perfection the pizza crust was crispy and the tomato sauce was amazing . I will definitely be back when we are in the area .

I love this place, but am not happy with the wings, I think they might be just re heating restaurant supplier wings they have a deep fryer? get ur wings right people if u do . I order here , like alot of my Brazilian friends, because of the pizza, but I noticed that there quality is not improving with time, it's just staying the same

Best Pizza in Sarasota, employees and services are the best. They never let me down.

Ordered online. Arrived when the website said it would be ready and the restaurant had no record of any order. Showed the employee that the transaction was on my bank account. They insisted that I had to pay again and that the original charge would drop off. Manager called the owner and the owner re-enforced that I have to pay again before they make the order. Here we are 3 days later and I still have the charge on my bank account. Don't bother eating here. Certainly don't bother ordering online.

Love this place. Salads and dinner bread was fresh and amazing. I had the pasta Alfredo and it was fresh and delicious!!

Their lasagna was more like a meat pie! Their pizza was pretty good, too!

We ordered to med. pizzas.. mine was plain cheese with just green peppers and beef..of course it is extra for more toppings..no big deal..however what was a huge disappointment was how very skimpy the toppings were.. they had unmitigated gall to charge an addl. $4.50 each for toppings.. no beef to speak off..maybe a tiny crumb or two..and green peppers was just sparsely placed on maybe a quarter of pizza. HIs was the Brazillian special..again sparse with toppings.. don't waste your money there. Do not know what cheeses they use but it was not a good quality. One is best to go elsewhere. They need to step up their game and serve quality food and not be stingy with toppings when one is paying extra for them.

We eat out often and lately the service and food at many of our favorite restaurants have both been less than amazing. However we recently went to Marina’s Pizza. The service was outstanding. Our drinks were refilled without asking, they made every effort to serve us and the food was absolutely delicious. It was so nice to find a place with great service and great food.

Awesome pizzaria! The food is excellent! Anytime we have ordered delivery we usually have issues. Missing part of the order, delivered to wrong address. Not worth the risk of the delivery companies, but that isn't the fault of the restaurant. Definitely recommend for dine in or carry out.

Ordered the spinach calzone and steak stromboli as take-out. Waited 20 minutes and they were ready for us; piping hot. They were DELICIOUS! just the right amount of garlic in the calzone blended with the ricotta and spinach. the steak stromboli had good quality steak in it. The dough was light and very tasty. Very pleased. We'll be back!

Had great time here from the pizzas to the service we had a party of 18 people and they took care of us forgot the name of my server but every one was great!!

The customer service was awful! The young man taking my order didn’t seem interested at all in answering my questions about the menu or taking my order. Place is great for pizza, can't say the same for the veggie calzone GROSS to say the least. Overly filled with watery ricotta,and thick cheese little cold hard veggies and no flavor. I needed lots of garlic powder and sauce to eat the 3 bites I did eat. Was gonna take it home but changed my mind on the way out the door and threw it out.

Just grabbed 2 Chicken Philly Cheesesteaks and a fry from Marinas for my dad and I. DELICIOUS!. SANDWICHES ARE FANTASTIC . My takeout order was ready and waiting when I arrived. It was hot and right 👍 Awesome location next to Publix...plenty of parking and seating if you want to dine in. Thier takeout is on point with new mobile apps 👌 I should know I do an Uber Eats delivery from here at least once a week...they're great 👍

Given the place several chances but unfortunately it is always a let down. The most consistent form of let down in burning the life out of the pie or slices on several occasions. Staff isn’t the least friendly but if you aren’t a regular or friends with them, good luck being helped in a timely manner. What is a decent spot unfortunately just consistently under performs. I hope this place starts stepping it up as they will kill it when they do.

Marina’s is our go to Pizza joint here in Lakewood Ranch. We like our pizza’s crispy and they always oblige. Also want to mention their customer service - we had one pizza in maybe 25 that didn’t taste quite right - which was really odd - but they graciously re-made it. They didn’t have to, so that was appreciated. And as a kid who grew up on Philly style pizza and Trenton Tomato Pie - Marina’s is the Real Deal! And to the people white wrote poor reviews - I have one question for you. Did you tell them you weren’t happy with your mushrooms, not cooked enough or whatever? I’m certain they would have made it right. All you do it need to ask.

Ordered from here though a delivery app, food was not good I felt like I had to re season the pasta to not just taste like milk, got garlic knots and wasn’t impressed, I never leave reviews but I wont be getting food here again

We've eaten from Marina's a couple of times. Last time we ordered for take out, it wasn't ready when we got there. Come to find out that Google gave us the number for a Tampa location! Staff said it happens all the time, and had the new order ready in 10 minutes. Chicken Parm dinner is really good. Pizza has been hit or miss.

Don’t get me wrong pizza is really good. But what the hell did I get tonight??? I love mushroom pizza and this was the first mushroom pizza I ordered from this place ever… it instantly destroyed my appetite. Literally disgusted with how the mushrooms looked. The worse part is…is that I couldn’t even take off the mushrooms! There were at least a pound of mushrooms covering the pizza. Dude I am young and I never leave a bad review/ reviews at all… so you know it was pretty bad for me to hop on here and say this. THE PIZZA IS GOOD, but do not order mushroom pizza or anything with mushrooms from this place.

Marina’s has very good Italian style thin crust pizza. This pizza is similar to Pizza I’ve had in Boston and NY. They also have great Philly cheesesteaks. The steak was finely chopped and veggies were nice and fresh. The portions were great. The sandwich was packed with plenty of steak. It was a good value for the price. The staff is friendly and the service is quick.

Since I'm from NJ , getting good pizza out of state is often a crap shoot, but Marina's is amazingly good.

Ordered online tonight. A meatball sub and a steak and cheese with mushrooms and onions. Wrote NO GREEN PEPPERS. Wrote it out and also checked it off in th area they had for things to REMOVE. I get home and the meatball had no cheese and my steak was full of green peppers. No mushrooms and no onions. For $12.00 a sandwich you’d expect to get the order right.

Incredible pizza!! Would recommend to anybody. Their pizza is on par with some of my favorite NY/NJ pizza joints. I’m very glad to have found them here in Bradenton

Ordered take-out for the first time from Marina's. Ate in a while ago. The veal parm sub was OK, nothing special. However, my special instructions of "NO parmesan cheese" were ignored. They had to remake the sandwich while I waited. No real apology and, certainly, no price reduction for my trouble. I guess this place operated more like a factory than a customer-oriented restaurant.

Food here is hit or miss. But they are one of the few sub shops in this area so they have limited competition. I would not order pizza, stick to the baked ziti and meatballs.

The Philly cheesesteaks here are better then in Philly.

We just came back from our vacation in Florida to Brazil , and we are very happy to meet Marina’s pizza . The food was amazing … thanks for the good service . We would be very glad to go back again if we have a chance . My family highly recommend.

Only been here once. Pizza was ok. But 26$ for a whole pizza and 2 drinks is a bit much.

Food was ready when promised. Spaghetti was very undercooked, the sauce was tasty but the chicken Parmigiano was just "ok". The rolls were cold, dry and tasteless. I would not order from here again.

Amazing experience at this pizza shop! Not only was the food so delicious, fresh and quick! But the customer service was also incredible. The young girl at the front taking orders and phone calls all while it was very busy made our experience even better. Her name was Beatriz, she was kind and extremely patient while taking our long and complicated order during their rush hour. Thank you Beatriz and the cooks for the tasty pizza and etc!!

1st pizza here in Florida and it was the 💣. Purrfect crust, yummy sauce, everything was on point! Very clean and air conditioned. Bathrooms were super clean too! Staff was quite friendly and we look forward to eating there again! Definitely recommend this place
