If you’re looking for a good chili cheese dog on the quickness in the LA area look no further. It’s the best chili cheese dog I’ve ever had.. and got to grab a fire dog. That’s just as it says- 🔥 as well.

Mega! We had the classic hot dogs, chili cheese dogs and sides. The food was fantastic and the staff were super friendly, open-minded and funny. Highly recommended! In Germany people like to eat doner kebab, but I don't like that. We love Marty's hot dogs! Awesome!

I've been coming here for 20+ years. The quality of the food and the folks that work here has only gotten better. Best burger, hot dogs, and breakfast burritos around. And their prices (cash only) can't be beat.

Marty’s is a great burger stand. Beef Pattie’s are delicious.Jerry is very friendly. The back outdoor dining is clean and had a cool atmosphere.

Every time I am this side of town, this is the go-to place for breakfast and lunch. The hotdogs are off the chain. However, you want it, you got it. I knew Marty, the owner, who was not their but it looks, tastes, and feels like the place is in good hands. Congratulations for being here for many, many years.

They have real Vienna Beef products here. This brand is hard to find outside of the Midwest.

I ALWAYS stop here when I am in the area on business. This is a classic little burger spot. Service is always great. Everyone I've encountered here is friendly and professional. The combo burger is what I prefer. It comes with a split and fried hotdog on top. The chili is excellent and the tater tots come done just right. If you are craving a burger and are anywhere near here, please stop and try them out. Let's all keep this place in business! Lots of seating put back, along with parking by the way!

I’ve been going to Marty’s for over 50 years and it’s just been a big part of my life, dating back to when Marty and his wife were running it. It’s almost like Saturday Night Live but better! It’s totally different and original. They have the BEST chili and you really can’t go wrong with the dogs or combo burgers. The orange bang is a must! Howard Marty’s son has been running the show exactly like his dad true to its roots. I feel like family when I’m there. It’s a must if you love amazing old school real deal meals.

Delicious, classic burger stand! Double burger with Pastrami was a meaty monster. The burger was awesome and reminded me of cookouts at my Grandma's, and the onion rings were so crispy!

When you see a 60 year old hole in the wall, walk up burger stand, you stop and get out of your car, and you eat one. This is mandatory. Make sure to bring cash or you're going to need to run to the shell next door and hit the ATM (if it's working). The pastrami burger is awesome and the OG behind the counter is a friendly guy.

My first time ordering here wasn't so good. Me and the guy didn't understand each other at first so I was a little upset at first but after I went to pick up my food the guy was really respectful, nice and apologetic so this compensated my first impression . The burgers were pretty good 👍 overall it was good.

A perfect representation of your classic burger. The team at Martys offers a tender and juicy chargrilled patty seasoned to perfection with a soft yet sturdy bun. I didn't get into the hot dogs but my group was raving about here chili cheese dogs

I've been coming here from time to time for a quick meal. I just don't like it when one of the workers was making fun of me thinking I don't understand what he was doing. Rude.

First timer. Highly suggest goin' with a double as the burger patty was rather slim and unfilling if you're going with just a burger. It wasn't the tastiest meat in comparison to the competitors nearby. The bun was warmed but didn't catch my fancy, probably won't return for the burger. The chili cheese fries however hit the spot. Very yummy and didn't leave a crumb for the trash bin. They do have a wonderful open seated balcony with plenty of shade Be sure to bring cash as it's cash only!

Food is delicious, customer service is great and I love that they have grilled onions.

Coming from the OC was in LA for the day. Felt like a good burger at an old school joint. Found Marty's on line and decided to drive a few miles to try it out. Like another famous hamburger stand which servers burgers out of a shack Marty's did not disappoint. Got the Combo chili/cheese and onion rings. Got the order pretty quick and sat in the back on the benches provided. Street parking was rather open being on a Sunday, but since there is a fire station next door, there was minimal nearby parking spots. The staff was very friendly and appreciated the business which was refreshing. Definitely a place to try out.

Overpriced for the thin burgers you get. The buns were stale and too big for the tiny patties. Very disappointed in the food. The chill was ok. Onion rings ok. Fries were disappointing. Definitely not what we were expecting.

Marty's is a local hamburger joint on Pico Blvd. I drive by it on my way to work every day but have not made an effort to stop. Had a little extra time today to taste what they offer. The chili cheese burger was ok. The bread needs to be grilled, the patty was small but the cheese and chili were tasty. I ordered 50/50 Fries and Onion rings. The onion rings were tasty, but you get only two. The fries were string fries and lacked any flavor. Total for both was $12.25. I won't be returning, better choices for chili burgers elsewhere.

Was recommended by a friend to try their Combo Burger with chili and cheese. With Fresh ingredients and great flavor, this is a 100% worth the visit.

Forget the pompous L.A. restaurants and other flamboyant lunch spots, this hole-in-the-wall stand serves some of the best classic American comfort foods. Very amiable staff serve the food quick and just as requested. The seating/aesthetic is the cherry on top to the place.

If I could sum everything up about this place into one phrase, it would be: good old fashioned burgers!! That's exactly what you get when coming here. No frills. No fancy cheese (though they do have blue). No crazy vegetables on your burgers (except for mushrooms maybe). No crazy combinations or non burger food on your burgers (like Mac n cheese?!) when you're looking for a great tasting burger like from a backyard bbq this will satisfy your craving. They have a few different signature burgers but you can change them to how you like. Their sweet potato fries were very good, and actually tasted like sweet potatoes instead of just a lot of oil. They have a few other sides as well that we were interested in trying. And milkshakes! The restaurant itself is a no frills place as well. And they do have some seating and TVs outside.

This place is not very high on my list for burgers or hot dogs! Today was my third time going and my last because of the employee's poor attitude towards me and they are always out of things... The first time I stopped there was because I saw their Vienna Hotdog sign in front. I ordered both a hotdog and a turkey burger. The hotdog was a real letdown since they didn't offer it Chicago style and they didn't have all the fixens plus it was grilled vs steamed. However, I was glad that they had turkey burgers. The turkey burger was tasty but quite small. The second time I stopped by to get a turkey burger but I was told that they ran out, so I tried their underwhelming hamburger/hotdog combo instead. Today I stopped in during lunch and was again told that they were out at which time I asked if getting a turkey burger was a problem. I was told that if I wasn't happy that I should go somewhere else which is exactly what I did. Definitely not worth going to and good luck getting a turkey burger!!!

Burger patty was a little rubbish but their dogs are great and the curly fries are nice and crisp. Nice spot!

This is the best place to get Chicago Dogs in LA! Marty is always friendly, the grill is always clean, and keeps the food fresh and tasty. Take it from someone who grew up in Chicago.

Great little walk up place. Fries are delicious and the hotdogs are excellent. For a small place the menu is quite extensive- from burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, all really great. Bring cash as they don't take credit cards or tap payment.

Having lived on the west side for years, im upset that i never knew of marty's until today. The smell hits you from a mile away and it's brilliant. The burger was great, the fries were classic, and it wasn't obnoxiously expensive. Remember through, cash only.

I was driving by and it called my name. Great friendly service. Tried their spicy hotdog, just didn't seem very spicy. I would have liked the hotdog to be thicker, but it was certainly well prepared.

Finalmente pasé a probar sus hamburguesas y me decidí por una hamburguesa con queso y chile, papas fritas con queso y una Coca-Cola. La regla en este momento es que si no tiene una máscara debido a COVID - 19 no le servirán. La hamburguesa estaba muy buena y las patatas fritas brillaban más, estaban deliciosas por el tenedor, llenas o habría sido un desastre. Afortunadamente llegué antes de que apareciera la multitud del almuerzo.

Hicimos esto una parada obligada después de verlo en Burger Land. Es un puesto de hamburguesas antiguo. La hamburguesa con queso y la combinación eran buenas, pero nos pareció que había demasiados ingredientes y le quitó el sabor de la hamburguesa. Los aros de cebolla eran geniales y las patatas fritas estaban bien. Las personas que trabajan en el stand son geniales. ¡Definitivamente el mejor servicio al cliente que hemos visto en LA! Ordene en el mostrador y vaya a comer afuera, no hay comida aquí. Volvería si estuviéramos en la zona.

Paso por Marty unas cuantas veces a la semana y siempre hay una razón para no detenerme (demasiada gente esperando en la fila, no hay estacionamiento, demasiado ocupado, etc.) pero hoy fue perfecto (y tenía hambre de un Combo). Para aquellos que no saben, un Combo es una hamburguesa y un hot dog en el mismo pan de hamburguesa, pruébalo, ¡te encantará!

Después de por lo menos una ausencia de 20 años, y con un hijo de Marty del no a la vista (donde solía ir cuando fue voltear las hamburguesas), pensé que me gustaría mejor parada y suss la situación. Aún propiedad de la misma familia. . Chicos diferentes. manteniendo pulsada la fortaleza. Tenía un queso chili burger. . Pero sí sigue siendo fantástico. metiendose con el hot dogs. . . yum yum. Simple but delicious hamburgers. Burgers and fries made the traditional way. We all had burgers, fries, and onion rings. Prices seemed reasonable too. Although it appears small from the front, there is plenty of seet8ng on the sides and around back.

Everybody raves about Pink's, but Marty's is for the people in the know. they have a signature Hamurger HotDog combo with chili, but I prefer the classic chili cheese dog. Parking is limited in the back. Counter service with outdoor seating. Lots of agents, firemen, construction workers in line. Great atmosphere.

Ive been coming to this tiny joint next to a fire station in Rancho Park for to many years to count, and as long as I'm mobile i will continue to b a regular.This is a junk food paradise so if your looking for Kale,don't bother, but if you want the best chili cheese burger then this is the place to come. Get it with grilled onion and bacon and u will b hooked.The fries,dogs etc. are also yummy!

If you are in the mood for some great Burgers without the fancy dancy, then you've got to come here. Your taste buds will be very happy you did. I always order the Turkey Burger with cheese and grilled onions with Onion rings. So good!! Easy parking in the rear. Tell them JD send you...nothing will happen, except you'll get a fantastic tasting delicious tasting burgers.

I have been waiting years to get a chance to eat a combo at Martys. When we pulled up it was all closed up. We guess it was because it was raining out, but you would think that there would be a sign or something.

Having heard about Marty's combo (a hamburger patty and two grilled Vienna Beef hot dogs), I thought I would give it a try. The stand is tiny but the proprietor is extremely friendly. I added cheese, onions, mustard and ketchup to the basic combo. The result was nothing short of fantastic. It was bursting with flavor and everything I had hoped for. I will make it a point to go back the next time I am in the area.
