Very cute and clean bagel shop. Service was good. Unfortunately the bagels are not very good. They are tough to bite into and chew. There was a limited variety of cream cheese flavors. Only three or four to choose from. If you are used to New York style bagels with a large variety of cream cheese flavors and types of bagels you will be disappointed. Too bad because the place looks like it has very good potential.

Employees are completely disrespectful, inside the restaurant talking about me and my daughter while we were outside but they didn’t even know my son was inside and heard everything then they came outside and accused our dog of pooping when she wasn’t near the location they were even claiming. These people all HATE animals here it’s pretty evident with their words and the signs. I actually really truly wanted to go back in and take my tip back after the accusations because not one of those employees deserved a penny from me. The looks they even give while they just ruin their microwaved food. Will NEVER go back and will definitely share the experience with everyone. Terrible terrible terrible experience. Can’t believe we actually gave this place got over $50 from my family.

They were being disrespectful to other customers talking smack about them it was a very uncomfortable environment they are terrible at customer service.

It was very good. Employees were nice. Place is clean. Bathroom was clean and smelled good. Only thing I didn’t like was that they didn’t have toilette liners. But it was great.

I loved this place! Food and staff was excellent.

I asked for a toasted bagel and it was not toasted at all went to by a juice it was very small it cost almost 6 $ give me a break with these prices the covid pandemic is over will not be going back, also ordered sausage egg and home fries, I got potatoes out the bag from Walmart, also sausage patties out the bag from Walmart, and get this one egg not me anymore I'll cook home

Stopped in here this morning to grab some bagels and coffee and I am now very excited to say I will be back!! The bagels are so fresh! Smooth coffee, staff is smiling, place is clean!! Such a little gem to have this place❤️

I have to say, that not only am I proud of Ms D, the food is so delicious. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere was very welcoming and warm. I will make this place a habit ❤️ Btw.....I got the steak, egg and cheese on a croissant( it's was huge) with a strawberry/pineapple lemonade. Definitely a 10/10! Right now until July 26th, Mary's Bagels, will be giving summer lunches to children ages 5-17, from 10am -1pm.

Decent shop for breakfast sandwiches. Bagels were really rough to bite into. The croissant was much more appealing than the bagels. The sandwich's egg, bacon and cheese were great. However the croissant sandwich had a foreign piece of fiber that was as hard as plastic, didn't seem like it was meant to be in there.

Apparently you pay $4 for you to butter or add cream cheese to your own bagel. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and bacon. The bagel came in a bag sliced bacon on the side and cream cheese on the side. At this point I should have just made it at home since I have to put it together anyways.

Delicious food and coffee. Will definitely be back ❤️ Update: I don't have a toddler, so my personal experience vs my friends were two different. However, seeing the unprofessional response about the happy child making noises because the elderly were having a meeting. As a business owner, to avoid these mishaps you close the doors for your "meetings" especially if the door DOESN'T say no kids allowed. Not only was the response unprofessional, but they're, their, and there all have different meanings. They're ALL PAYING CUSTOMERS.

Prior to our local chapter meeting this morning, we decided to enjoy a brotherhood breakfast at Mary's Bagel. Most of us ordered a breakfast sandwhich and it was definitely a great choice. I have had other meals here in the past and the fish and grits are a must try. You also have to try their Sausage, Egg, and Pepper Jack cheese on croissant (Rockefeller). We were most impressed by the professionalism and atmosphere of the resturant. We will be continuing to support this business in the future.

Mary's Bagels is a Delicious and tasty restaurant. Fresh and Hot. The staff, what Happy Sweet people. Always welcoming! The dinning room is always clean when i come in. I recommend this establishment always!!

Third time coming in. It’s super clean and cute. The staff is super polite and friendly. Our cold brew and breakfast sandwiches were good 😊. Ms Mary the owner is really nice. They are currently giving out free lunches for the kids that may not have enough food at home. We will definitely continue to support this small business.

So here we are on a Thursday morning coming out of a surgery center from dropping off a family member .I decide that we will stop with my 18moth old son to get breakfast and, relax a bit from all of the emotions I had going on.We stopped at a local cafe that I’ve visited before ,which to my liking their food and service at the time was very friendly to myself a place that I took the time and recommended to several of my friends because of the atmosphere and familiar people that work there . Well, never did I think I would feel rejected that day that I went in there . As normal I went ahead and order our breakfast and I can clearly remember that there was only a hand full of people . Yes they called my name I went ahead and grabbed my food , sat down and started eating with my son. As I am eating and just enjoying this time with my little one a worker approached my table and says “ My manager has asked me if YOU can quiet your baby because she is ABOUT to START a meeting “…mind you my son is only 18 months old he is sitting on his stroller eating his parfait and making a sound (which now I know is from one of his favorite shows ) (unfortunately am not able to upload the video of what was so called the load screaming that my son was doing ) .. after the fact that she asked me to do that I just glanced at her and said “are you serious “ and the worker walked away . I continued to eat our breakfast and NOT act a fool because of the situation. Yes I finished eating my breakfast got my son situated then I decided to go outside finished my drink , took a breather and went about my day . The only thing that I truly appreciated that moment was the elderly guy coming towards my son and saying “someone is very happy this morning “ Few hours later I still couldn’t get over the fact of what had happened to myself at the cafe . So yes I indeed had a conversation with my husband and here is the result of that . To my understanding no where in the website or place of business does it state , NO children allowed , or that is an office/ meeting place for workers. FYI , there was no meeting going on at the time we walked in . Nor while we were eating . What would you have done ?

Please if you visit this place don’t take you toddlers. My wife stopped to eat there with my 18 months baby and manager send one of his workers to tell my wife while they were eating to tell my baby to stay quiet because they were about to have a meeting. Never visit this place again.

Best bagels we have found anywhere in Florida. Service is friendly, helpful and attentive. Food is well prepared and good size servings for the prices. Bagel breakfast sandwich was hot and delicious. Coffee fresh and good quality! Bagel aficionados will know what I mean when I say the bagels have the right “chew” — they aren’t bready or mushy—they are perfect! Central Florida (Sebring) needs a Mary’s Bagels!!! Barring that, I would guess we will be making a lot more trips to Lakeland!!!

I get lunch during my break here at least once a week. All the staff is very friendly, and the bagels remind me of the ones I used to get back home in New England. Highly recommend

I been waiting to try this place and the other day I got to stop in. If this places was on my way to work I be in trouble. Bagel was hot and fresh that simple. The bagel was very good seasoned just right and the bacon was crunchy. Looking forward to my next vist. But highly recommended.

We go to Mary’s all the time for breakfast and get her bacon,egg and and cheese croissants. We have never been let down on quality and taste , love this place and hope everyone visits.

Nice new clean building. Courteous and friendly staff. We each had a toasted breakfast bagel sandwich. A little to toasted on each one.. Sausage was every day, nothing that special tasting.

Great customer service!!! Fish and grits are perfectly cooked. Bagels are very hard to bite and I have perfect teeth. I love every croissant I have tried so far. Definitely check them out. Oh fish and grits are sold on wed-Friday

My coworker has talked about this place for months. He finally brought in some plain pumpernickel bagels for me to try. I toasted it, put some butter on it, and I am in HEAVEN! Best bagel I have ever had!

I explicitly asked that my egg on my Bronx bacon egg croissant sandwich be well done when I got home the yellow was not I repeat not done . All I know is I told the lady I wanted the well done my wife can’t eat eggs that is not well done . The owner called me and promised to make it right I am impressed that I received a call we have eaten here about three times and everything else was delicious so I think this was a communication issue

The service was very friendly. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. I had The Brooklyn Bacon Egg bagel sandwich and my partner had the The Rockefeller Sausage bagel sandwich. We did have to wait a little longer than expected for the coffee because we ordered decaf and it wasn't brewed yet, but it was fresh, delicious and hand delivered with an apology for the wait. The quality and service more than made up for the longer wait on the coffee. We love Mary's bagels, this is our second visit and we will definitely be returning!

All I can say is the food I ordered was so fresh and perfectly made. I'm not a person that leaves reviews just cause. I had the fish and grits..the grits were so buttery good and creamy. I cook grits really good myself but these were awesome. The fish was fried perfectly crisp and very flavorful. I couldn't ask for anything better. I also had a slice of keylime cake and it was so moist and good. The danish in that place looked so good I had to walk out cause I was bout to buy up some stuff. So go try it for urself. I know you will not be disappointed 🥰😋

I was at the medical clinic next door and decided to walk over to Mary’s Bagel Cafe for lunch. So glad I did. The New York Rueben sandwich looked and tasted great. Very tasty. Oh, and thanks for the excellent service, Raven!

I took our special needs adults here to practice ordering food independently and they had the patience that was needed for our class to feel comfortable and not rushed or embarrassed at all. Very clean atmosphere and very friendly staff and customers!

Giving this food three stars, because the bacon egg and cheese component on my sandwich was delicious. The bagel was something left to be desired. The bagel was very dry. It was very dense. It didn’t have a crackly top. It wasn’t very fluffy. The atmosphere, or the restaurant is very very nice and the people were very very friendly. I just don’t care for their bagels.

We tried Mary's for the first time today, and it has been absolutely phenomenal. The coffee is the best I've had in a long time, and the bagels, of course, are toasted to perfection. A much larger menu then you'd think for such a cozy place, but they have something for everyone! I'll definitely be back soon to try another sandwich and another dessert. Can confirm the Bronx bagel and strawberry crunch cake are amazing

The Mary's experience was very pleasant. The food came out hot an was ready in relatively short time. I ordered the Statton Island on a Croissant with Swiss nothing to exotic it. Nice large portion that was very good, the star of the show was definitely the cheese grits, I'm a fan of cheese grits but when a place gits it right then I take notice thank you to the cook who made them just know my day is a better day thanks to you. As foe the service an experience, this place understands the meaning of it. We were greeted with a smile an a welcoming voice that made us feel like we were regulars. Then she guided us through the offerings to make sure we got what we were looking for. Top notch on the friendly an helpful service it is all to uncommon these days is the food industry. Overall it was a wonderful delicious experience an I am looking forward to I my next visit

Egg and cheese bagel breakfast sandwich was delicious. And there are good sized portions on plate.

Update: Rude owner. 2 stars. I went here for the first time and it was just OK across the board. Firstly, we were greeted with lots of signs with rules. "Don't step on the rocks" outside on the gravel. "These chairs are for sitting not eating" near 2 comfortable chairs inside. And so on. I ordered hashbrowns which turned out to be fried potato cubes not shredded hashbrowns. They tasted fine but they were also served in a little paper tray and they were falling out all over the table as I tried to eat. The orange juice is bottled and not poured into a glass and the brand of juice was very sour. The staff was nice enough and the restaurant seemed clean.

I went today with a bit of apprehension due to some not too good reviews. I must say that I was nicely impressed. I was welcomed with a smile and friendly customer relation manner. Very clean place. The pumpernickel bagel was very good and they did not skimp on the cream cheese. My sister had a Broadway Turkey Bacon Sandwich, warm and tasty. Will definitely go back.

Terrible bagels, service is beyond slow

So glad to finally try this place! Extremely clean with a simple, yet delicious menu. Not the best neighborhood, but I never once felt unsafe. There is plenty of parking with nice fencing and landscaping. Staff is helpful and friendly. Wonderful offerings and atmosphere. I hope Mary's is here to stay! Give them try!

Both of our meals were delicious — the lox bagel and the Wall Street croissant. We ate in and service was fast and fantastic and it was during the 7am weekday hour. Definitely will be stopping more often!

Great food that is cooked fresh to order. The Bronx Bacon egg sandwich was the best bagel 🥯 sandwich I have eaten. Simple Delicious. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Yum. Yum yum

I enjoyed my experience and food from Mary’s Bagel. The employee that took my order was patient and didn’t seem bothered by me asking questions due to it being my first visit. Food was coffee was good and I’m interested in trying other menu items. Only feedback I can give is it would be nice to have something on the packaging to differentiate between turkey from pork for the sandwiches that all have the same wrapping.

Went there for the first time this morning (15 December 2023) and had the Winter Wonderland coffee with a steak, egg, onion, provolone on a garlic bagel. My wife had the same coffee and a ham, egg and cheddar on an everything bagel. Both were excellent sandwiches, and the coffee was delicious. We chatted with the manager for a few minutes after, and that was a great experience too. The next time we go back, it's going to be tough deciding between the ultimate on French toast, the Cuban sandwich, and the Reuben. If they are as good as the bagel sandwiches, we're in for a treat.

What an amazing service, everyone was polite, accurate and friendly. We had a large order that was handled impeccably, all of our food was cooked to perfection. Coffee was simply perfect, the place was clean and organized, the bathrooms were clean, had hand soap and paper towels. The manager Denise was not present, and the place was packed, and the crew had everything under control. Denise you have an amazing crew, congratulations! I thought I can cook good grits until I came to Mary’s Bagel haha. This place is amazing. No matter what I order it’s on point. Great service and great food. Restaurant is clean and kept up always, even the restroom. I’m here at least twice a week. Fish and Grits is def the GoTo though!!!

Update- today the food was delicious and came out hot and fresh, the staff are always kind and welcoming! Will try lunch next time! We had bacon egg and cheese and a pork roll egg and cheese on bagels. Original -We have eaten here multiple times the bagels have been very good. My husband loves that they have pork roll. Today I got a slice of cheesecake, it looked unappetizing. It was dry and gritty and the strawberry's were soft and starting to turn and it was labeled today's date. So do get the cheesecake unless u look at it.

I am so glad that we have this place in town. It’s a classy looking cafe with a homey feel. I had a Rockefeller on a croissant. Delicious! That sandwich was a full meal. I’ve been back for a bagel and pastries. Of course that was good too. I look forward to going back.

We LOVE MARY’s Bagels! Denise, Chloe and staff are always friendly! The food is amazing! They offer excellent catering options with amazing food and attention to detail. Not only do they offer amazing food and service but Denise and her staff also have their own 501(c)(3) and actively involved in the community daily. Whether it’s offering free lunches during the summer for children doing wonderful things to provide support within the community, such as Thanksgiving, turkey drives, providing meals for others, and toy drives for children during the Christmas. This place is a community Gem!!! From the moment you walk in, you're made to feel like you're apart of the family. The food is always awesome, the Staff is friendly and the owner, Denise is typically there walking around, talking with customers and making sure they are having a great experience. The cafe has this rustic Mediterranean outside seating appeal. Great for afternoon brunch on any day. Come share (Yes, "Share"!) a made-2-order Bronx Bagel Sandwich and Banana-Nut Muffins. OR a toasted blueberry bagel with home-made strawberry cream cheese. I personally enjoy the coffee; made fresh.

Amazing atmosphere, the food was great especially the Grits were absolutely amazing. The owner energy was amazing, very pleasant and down to earth. I will be going back.
