Everything is very delicious and the decoration of the restaurant is very nice. We were attended to by José, who was very kind to us. I would definitely go back to Mayu.

We came on the recommendation of a friend who made very good comments and the truth is that she did not exaggerate, the place, the service, are exceptional, the menu is very original and the flavors are unbeatable. They made my son's birthday celebration memorable. Thank you José for your always kind attention.

This was my first trip to Miami & I have to say Mayu was incredible all the way from the food to the atmosphere. Definitely one of the top 5 restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. I neveerrrrrr leave reviews but when I tell you. The flights, the spicy crab roll, the HAMACHI— literally everything was so delicious I can’t even believe we booked on Sat night at the last minute and people act like this place doesn’t exist. We just had a great culinary experience at Mayu restaurant in Miami. So much different flavors and colors. The Ceviche clasico, Pizco de Gallo, the Lomo Saltado with Tangliatelle was superb. Of course to end the night the Lucuma forest was so good that my kids left nothing. Our waiter Ramon knows every little detail of the Peruvian cuisine. Unforgettable night with my boys and my wife!!!

What a great place! I was taken back by the environment and decor. Everyone was so attentive and very friendly. The suggestions were on point I was not disappointed. My favorite was the causa made of purple potatoes. I had a guava cheese drink that was delightful. The waiter brought complimentary pisco sours of chicha morrada that was out of this world. I definitely recommend it, it’s upscale Peruvian and I loved it.

Had such a nice presence about him and did a great job of explaining the dishes. My bff and I had their happy hour apps and 2 drinks each. All were great. For our entree I decided to go with the salmon and she had the branzino. The crispy skin on the salmon was the best part and the sauce that accompanied the dish was so good. The branzino was fresh along with the plantains and cilantro rice…so yummy. We both were a little surprised that it wasn’t busy for a Friday evening but it also worked in our favor because of the attention we received during our visit. Can’t wait to bring others and try different dishes.

Mayu is my favorite restaurant in Miami ! A true Peruvian gastronomic experience. I've been to Mayu almost 6 times now, and I'm still happy. The food is tasty and perfectly prepared, and I've never had a lomo saltado as good as theirs. The sushi is delicious and fresh! Everything at Mayu is splendid, you feel good, the atmosphere is warm with a beautiful decor. Thanks to Paola, who always takes such good care of each dinner, she makes the experience even better. The staff are wonderful! See you soon !

Mayu is a lovely restaurant but extremely overpriced. I rather go to Aromas de Peru any time. A lot of the dishes carry over too but obviously at Mayu it’s more expensive and the portions are smaller. Service was incredible and the food was really good but I spent $200 on two people and that’s just ridiculous in my opinion. Not to mention that the food isn’t much different from the original aromas which is significantly cheaper. Guess this will work on the brickell crowd though.

Don’t skip this great restaurant! Jose was our server and was very knowledgeable about the menu and he was the perfect amount of attentive. We stayed for a long time and enjoyed various things off the menu, all was good, and didn’t feel rushed or imposed upon whatsoever. Definitely will be back.

There are many Peruvian restaurants in Miami, but not like this one, the presentation is on another level, the flavors are elegant and explosive. The service is intimate and careful, the Place is elegant and cozy. Mayu is a gem, a place where love for the land is rescued.

I love Peruvian food & so far since living here this has been my favorite spot. They have great lunch & happy hour options. The decor is really cute even at the front headed inside. This Peruvian food restaurant is located in the well-known area of ​​Brickell, Miami. It is a perfect combination between traditional gastronomy and modern techniques. With a striking decoration from the beginning with “hand washing” they tell us a little about their culture and history: MAYU, a Quechua word that means River. As a welcome cocktail we tried (for the first time) chicha morada, a typical Peruvian drink that combines different ingredients such as corn, cinnamon and lemon... Regarding the service, I can highlight that it provides a detailed description of each of the dishes, which are spectacular. We went for dinner last Friday and I have to say the whole experience was great. We had several ceviches, I had salmon, my friend had duck. All the dishes were amazing. The service really good, our waiter was super nice. Overall five stars, no doubt.

We went here yesterday with my friend and were pleasantly surprised. We did the happy hour, and the prices were super reasonable. The traditional pisco sour was amazing, and the maracuya sour was also good. They brought us a sample of their chicha as a complimentary gesture. We then ordered the ceviche and causa, which were good, but we thought the portions were small. It's definitely more of a bite than an actual plate if you come during happy hour. The service was amazing, served by Alison. She was so kind and nice to us, and we never felt rushed like in other places. We had time to have a nice conversation with my friends. We are definitely coming back again because of the service and awesome piscos!
