The food was really good. I had a brisket sandwich. McArthur's had music and this one man band was great! He really played a little bit of everything (80's, soul, rock N' roll, etc.). We had a great time and the restaurant was busy but very comfortable.

What can I say? They're always. Friendly? Always smiling. Service is great, food is excellent. If you want to know what an Irish pub is, you need to go to McArthur's.

This was my first visit to Mcarthur's. I had fish & chips & they were great! Highly recommend. We listened to Irish folk songs & were invited by the singer to join in. We didn't know any of them, but there were a number of others that did, & it was fun to hear them all singing along. Parking is challenging, but other than that it was a fun evening with great food.

Horrible service. Walked in and waited at the bar for a while before I was even acknowledged. Bartender on their cell phones. I wanted to try the place since it's new to me. Burger is great. Will do elsewhere.

A great little Irish pub! The heavy, dark wood and really beautiful ceiling makes it feel like a piece of Ireland here in St. Pete. Great place for a beer with friends, but they also have a good selection of food. Cheers!

Good for pub food . Sandwich was a little bit greasy. Good neighborhood atmosphere. Staff is really friendly and attentive. I've been to St. James Gate in Dublin ( The best Guinness ever) and the Guinness here was a good pour.

I got the corned beef and potatoes with carrot, it was delicious! I like this pub and the waiters are great! I will be back, yes for sure! Health my friends, much love! I only gave 4 stars for the food because I only had one thing, I would like to try more on my next visit. Great atmosphere and service, and the TV's were off, which I really thought was great. Patrons were very kind as well.

Food was good! The draft beer was kind of warm, though. Bottles were cold so I stuck with those. The Reuben egg rolls were tasty as long as you have the spicy sauce to go with it. Without it, they were a little bland. The paddy melt was GREAT and cooked perfectly. We’ll be back soon.

Love this place! Food is amazing and the staff is great, they already know what drinks we want when we sit at the bar! Always has live music and a great atmosphere! Happy to call myself a regular.

Give it an 11/10! The fish bites is the best fish n chips I’ve ever had! Not sure what they’re doing differently, but I didn’t get that bloated sickly feeling after eating them. The batter was so delicious, and the dipping sauce (tarter?) was the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately it’s a 30 minute drive from me, but it’s much better than the seafood on the beach. Fish was tender. Incredible special value too. Actually some of the best food I’ve ever had. Unbelievable quality and flavor!

You had me at parmesan-crusted grilled cheese. Seriously, I can't say enough good things about the food here. It was hot, fresh, and amazing, and I never want a normal, boring grilled cheese ever again!! Service was prompt and friendly, the cost is really around average of what you pay around town, but other than that dang grilled cheese, the real star of the show here is the atmosphere. With the old institutions of Irish Pub music since closed down, McArthur's brings back that fun sing-along feel. The ONLY downside to McArthur's is the parking situation, or rather, lack of parking situation. If you're driving, get there early. If you're going for drinks and revelry, just take an Uber.

I love this little place! The reuben egg rolls are SO good, fish and chips are the best I've had in a long time. Even without food I would love to just soak in the cozy atmosphere.

We were visiting St. Pete and stopped by last Friday night to enjoy dinner. It was hard to find a parking spot, and we almost gave up and left. But we circled around and found one open up. I’m so glad we didn’t give up! We walked into live music, and were greeted by staff. We were lucky to find a couple tables open for two. The ambiance is cozy and pub-like, not fancy. Folks of all ages were there—families with small children to us middle-agers and older adults. I was intrigued by the appetizer fried Guinness meatballs, as it seemed odd to deep fry meatballs. Our server Lilly, who was friendly and attentive, assured us they were tasty, so we ordered those to go with our Guinness and “Auld” Fashioned cocktail. Wow! They were delicious (meatballs and drinks!). For dinner my husband ordered the chicken pot pie (highly recommended by Lilly), and I went with the Guinness Stew. Another Wow! The chicken gravy was rich and creamy, and the stew had large chunks of tender beef in a savory Guinness gravy. Their famous soda bread was used to sop up the extra gravy, and it was perfect! Pat, the musician, regaled us with Irish ballads and country songs, and he engaged with those of us remaining after the dinner hour, making us all feel welcome and appreciated. We so enjoyed our evening there—our only regret is we live four hours away and can’t visit more often. Friendly servers and staff, delicious food, reasonable prices, and lively entertainment give McArthur’s ten gold stars!

Small Irish pub. Extremely limited parking. The plaza next-door tends to take up half of the parking spots. Opened at 10 AM. I was there at 10 AM first customer. Ordered the traditional Irish fry up. Food was adequate. Service was poor at best. my server(most likely the manager) took my order, brought me my food and didn’t say a word to me until she saw I was ready to pay and leave. She also walked past me several times without saying a word, or even looking at me. Never asked me how my food was. Never asked me if I wanted a drink refill. Never even asked me if I wanted anything else. When the bill came, I noticed the price of the traditional Irish fry up that I had was higher than the menu price I saw on their website. The price on their website was $16. The price on my check was $17. When I pointed this out to her, she acted surprised and said it must be some kind of new thing and I find that hard to believe but at no time did she offer to adjust the price for me. I mean it’s only a $1 but it was the principal. And then I see another charge on my bill for $.68 cents for a consumer fee? I asked her what is a consumer fee and she replied well that’s the fee we charge customers that pay by Credit card. And I think to myself nowadays, everybody pays by credit card but OK. I didn’t like the fact that it was added to the bill and I wasn’t made aware of it before hand even though it may have been posted on the menu, but I didn’t look at it because I’d already looked at the menu online. Bottom line is the food was average. The parking is limited. The service was extremely poor so I can’t honestly, recommend this place. A tip was left as pictured, but it was less than 15%. Total gross bill was $19.50 and I guess I left her between 11 percent and 12%. Do Not Recommend.

Our waiter Elijah was great and so was the food great atmosphere and great employees and Elijah informed us that he is a freshman high school and he informed us it was his 3rd day and did great and trivia is great totally recommend

New Owner, kids every where, they decided to change trivia night. The new owners are great, but the first night they promised no kids... week 2 more kids and a new manager that needed additional training. I have a full video where I was called so many inappropriate names after the only beer all night. I won't go back. Hope they get back to their vision. Took 30 minutes to close out my 1 beer tab.

It was St. Patrick's Day with that said they charged $10. PP to get in was so packed you couldn't move outside band was so loud couldn't here yourself think but yes we paid and got nothing for it very expensive beer and drinks, and the $20.00 dish served was very little dried out and cold. However staff was amazing they didn't miss a beat! Would revisit but not on holiday.

it's a shame to have wasted 30.00 on food that cannot be eaten. if it had been at the restaurant it would have been returned to the kitchen, however, since it was delivered there is not much to be done.

Best Irish pub in the area! Food is amazing, I've had everything on the menu and everything was great. Got married in Ireland and love the Irish license plates hanging on the wall. This bar is like being back on my honeymoon.

What a wonderful Irish Pub experience! The ambiance, the food, the service, and most importantly the Guinness was perfect! The pints were cold and the food was wonderful! There was live music on this particular evening and his singing was quite enjoyable. This pub is smaller and more intimate in size and that adds to the experience. We sat at the bar and the bartender was incredibly friendly and attentive. Thank you for a great evening! We will most definitely be returning!

Great Irish pub. Good for a pint or listening to live music. Very authentic and on brand. Good for a younger and older crowd alike. People who want to eat good food, have some good drinks and sing to the music will have a great time here. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Had the curry chicken and was a great blend of sweet and a little spice. Potatoes and vegetables were fresh tasting and enjoyable.

A fun place with great Food, drinks and authentic Irish music. On 4th street. Try the Shrimp, you won't go out hungry. They have a leprechaun door in the front door.

We went to MacArthur‘s pub for the first time today and we absolutely loved it! The atmosphere felt like it was straight out of Dublin. It was great to finally find a place that did a proper pour of Guinness! Loved the McArthur Red Ale as well. The bartenders were very friendly and welcoming! We will definitely be back to this pub that has a truly Irish feel. Well done!

Absolutely our favorite Irish restaurant in all of St Petersburg. The food and service is so amazing!! The Guinness stew, bangers and mash, fish and chips are just sublime. As of matter of fact all the food here is delicious!! They usually have a live Irish band most nights as well. Very cool atmosphere and people enjoy talking to each other. Definitely try some of the cocktails or authentic Irish beers.

Came for their New Years night. Drinks were decent and the live band was great. For their dinner that was served was disgusting. Everything that was on the plate was from a microwave. I wouldn't take the time to leave a review but the way the proprietor upsold the quality they would provide was way below and they deserve this negative review for it. Irish food.... nah, negative.

Fantastic food probably the best Irish food I've ever had. The service was also fantastic, it was overall a really great place to eat only complaint being I wish there was one near my home town up north because it would be perfect for a cold night. Recommend the fish and chips, the potatoes stew, guinness stew, and the shepherds pie.

Popped in for lunch on Christmas-Eve Eve and found this delightful surprise on the specials menu: call it “Alexis’ Christmint Coffee” — coffee, Jameson Cold Brew, Bailey’s, Creme de Menthe and Peppermint Schnapps! Come on in and order one from Alexis - she literally squealed with delight when we did! Love the staff here, love the food (Babalu sauce on the wings are the best!) and the cozy atmosphere — if you love good pub food and you haven’t tried McArthur’s, do yourself the biggest favor and stop in!

The food is to die for and I love the stunning example of how you can run a successful restaurant without a massive freaking 30% full parking lot wrapped around it. Despite this, I’m not always in a mood where I can tolerate listening to drop kick Murphys song after song after song. I get the Irish theme but it’s a bit much.

We came here for a specialty trivia night and I love the place! The food was so good, and I liked the laid back atmosphere here too. The service was just so-so, we ran out of drinks several times but overall it was a good experience. It was also super busy so I don't hold the slow service against them too much really. Parking was an issue, but I was able to find street parking as all of the lots close to this place had towing signs up and this parking lot is not big. All of the food everyone got looked great, I was really impressed by the fish and chips one of my friends got. I had the paddy melt and it was delicious. Overall I recommend this place for sure and wish I lived closer so I could come more often, but I'll definitely be back!

Great food, great service, best Irish place in town! I've had the Scotch eggs (O. M. G., soooooooo good!), and the bangers and mash (excellent!!!!!!!!) The bread pudding is made with Irish soda bread instead of white bread (outstanding!!!!) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Food was good and freshly made. Delicious soups. Service was good too. Only complaint was the curry was a bit bland compared to other offerings I have eaten there. They get a pass on that as I have never had a bad meal here.

We were looking for a new place to hang our hats on Friday afternoons. This pub is where we landed. Located in the old Babalu restaurant on 4th Street North in St. Petersburg, it offers good food, a full bar, and a great wait staff. We've tried a few things on the menu and can't complain. There are special leprechauns in the kitchen - try the Reuben Rolls or the Brisket sandwich. You will not be disappointed. We sit at the bar, and table options are available.

We had an amazing time! Great atmosphere' great food, great prices and an awesome bartender Estee! She was more than welcoming and made a bad day turn good for us. We will definitely be back!!!

Amazing new bar everyone must visit

I recommend the Irish breakfast & Reuben rolls. If you want to go in eat & drink with not a lot of chatter this is the place for you.
