The food and service were fantastic....again! The surprising thing is not the the food, service and atmosphere were terrific. The surprising thing is that it's always terrific! We've never had a bad time at McGuire's Pub. Go today you won't be disappointed!

We went to McGuire’s to celebrate a birthday for someone in our group. Stuart was our waiter and he was excellent. He knew the menu very well and made excellent recommendations to us as it was our first time there. He anticipated everything we would need for our food that was ordered. The food was exceptional and was more than we could eat. I had the fish and shrimp ad chips. The shrimp was cooked perfectly as was the fish. The atmosphere was exactly like an Irish pub should be. Elizabeth in the gift shop was excellent as well. She knew all about the product that were for sell. If you are in the area you must try this place out . It was worth the drive from Orange Beach.

My wife and I came here with a friend after our wedding this morning, and the service and food were both amazing. We arrived and were seated quickly which was surprising for a Sunday morning. Food was awesome, and affordable and our waiter Edward was very attentive and did an awesome job.

Expected a small tavern/restaurant, pulled up and place is gigantic. Service was great, food was even better. Tons of burger options, all we got were delicious. Had "trash " for appetizer, and could have had full meal of that because so delicious. Definitely check this place out if in the area!!!!!

We go here a few times a year while here for work, the filet, garlic mashed, asparagus, and to top it off the pound of cheese cake, if your in the area, Don't pass it up, the food is amazing

Steak was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The hot plate kept every bite hot until the end. Irish wake pares well with the Ruban egg rolls. Megan B was absolutely amazing! Ask for her!

Michael Brandon is on top of everything to make your experience superb. The Wed fried chicken special is so delicious! I love the chicken, greens, and potatoes. Always on point.

Our personable waiter Sean was excellent and upon his recommendation I tried the Shepard’s Pie lunch special, yummy! Great French onion soup. We also had the combination appetizer platter and took home 2 to go boxes full of leftovers. Left with 4 to go boxes including half of my husband’s huge Reuben. Always great food, service and atmosphere at McGuires!

Love their bread pudding pudding so much had it as my entree. Come once a year maguire is a must.

10 members of our family celebrated our parent’s 60th Wedding Anniversary at McGuires last night and Dillon was our server. Not only was Dillon extremely professional and wonderful at his job, but he succeeded in matching our energy (we are a crazy crew) and celebrated with us with enthusiasm and quick wit! He is an asset to your team!

Hadn’t been here in about 8 years. Seems like they expanded the place for more tables but the food was still great and service was FAST. My waiter, Eddie, took care of my party of 8 with ease and was attentive despite his busy section. I had the lamb stew and sampled potato skins from a friend. Had a great time and I’m so full from the large portions!

The food here was awesome, our waiter Stewart I think was how you spell his name. He was such a sweet person and he was so lovely to us. The food was plenty for the amount that it cost. I had a Reuben sandwich, it was really good. For a good 10 to 20$ you get a pretty good amount of food and drinks. We left feeling really full and good about our experience. We will definitely be coming back. And thank you Stewart for giving us such a good experience here.

For 21 years I have visited this place and every time is 10/10. The menu is huge and I have probably eaten half of the dishes. None of them ever disappointing. They have live music regularly but never too loud to talk over. It's such a great place, visit here if you're in the area.

I came to see what all the hype was about, and the experience was way better than expected!! The food was absolutely delicious. Our amazing waitress Lydia, suggested the pork chop dish, which I am not usually a fan of eating, but this was the BEST pork chop I have ever eaten in 50 years. My son got the best Prime Rib he has ever eating in 30 years. The service was top notch. We couldn't get enough of the Irish Boxty, fried mashed potato balls stuffed with cheese, appetizers. We had to take the gigantic bread pudding desert home. I will most definitely be back to try the other dishes. They have a tradition of guests writing on $1 dollar bills and stapling to the wall or ceiling throughout the restaurant.

Just ate at the Destin , FL location. Our sandwiches were delicious! They were Texas size Our server Jenn went above & beyond for her service! My sister uses a cane her right side is paralyzed. Jenn escorted her to the ladies room and had another server escort back to the table. Kept out glasses full. Truly a Wonderful experience ❣️. Many thanks for your Kindness

I have to start with the Filet Mignon dinner which is the best steak we have ever tasted with a wonderful sizzling presentation. Filet can be difficult to create flavor but this steak was perfectly cooked medium as requested and had tremendous flavor. I had the Big Daddy Burger which is a good burger wonderful meat flavor but it was a little unmanageable but I should have expected this. The restaurant brings in the crowds and turns tables without making patrons feel rushed. Overall great experience with great service.

My absolute favorite place to go, the food is always delicious! The best steak I've ever tasted and don't even get me started on the boxty balls and cheesecake, not to mention the service is always on point, we had Jay taking care of us this evening and he done an outstanding job! The atmosphere is amazing, I love hearing the bagpipes! Thank you for always giving an amazing experience!

We had Kim (m) and she was so sweet and ready to take great care of us. We’re visiting from Ohio, and she made us feel at home even 800 miles away. We can’t wait to see her on our next vacation! Also, the Reuben egg rolls are stellar, 12/10!

The customer service staff, Mr. Stewart, was a gentleman and had a very good customer service that matched the atmosphere of the store. The atmosphere, live music, and food were all delicious and satisfying. I understand why it's so popular! It was worth coming all the way from Japan to visit.

Fun atmosphere, good music. Went at a not too busy time which I would definitely recommend. Our server Ceail was lovely and super knowledgeable and very patient as we took a hundred years to decide what to order. Recommend the shepherds pie (easily enough for two people) and the root beer float.

5 stars all the way across. McGuire's is a must stop for our family when traveling to Pensacola Beach! My go to is the bean soup and medium rare ribeye.

Meatloaf lunch special with mashed potatoes and green beans for $9.99 was absolutely awful.

Some of the best food we have ever gotten! I got a steak and my wife got salmon. It was amazing and worth every penny. It was one of the most tender and perfectly cooked steaks I’ve ever had and is comparable to some I’ve gotten in NYC. Worth every penny! 10/10! McGuire's is a MUST when visiting Pcola. The atmosphere was so creative with the money hanging from the ceiling to the dim red lighting to the Irish music in the background. It's such a vibe & the food was really good. If you do order the Big Mac.. I recommend sharing with someone ! 🤣👍🏼

McGuire's Irish Pub is rightfully an institution in Pensacola, FL. Everything on the menu is excellent and the variety is impressive. Service is top-notch and wonderfully well trained. Personal favorites are the Shepherds Pie & the Tuna Steak served rare-sushi-style (dinner menu only, but delicious). Traditional Irish dishes are a-plenty and true scrumptious examples of their kind. The atmosphere can be more chaotic than some prefer depending on how busy it is & which room you're dining in. Highly sensitive souls may find themselves a bit overwhelmed. Nonetheless, McGuire's is a restaurant I recommend everyone enjoy at least once (and more likely, many many times!). It has the quality of the most posh restaurant without the highfalutin excess of a linen-on-the-table experience. It earns my highest possible recommendation.

Really conflicted on what rating to give this. We live here, not tourists and fell in love with McGuire’s. The food is exceptional and the service has always been great. Last time our waitress recommended the Reuben egg rolls and we loved them so we ordered again tonight for takeout. We picked up the order, three chopped sirloin meals, two orders of the egg rolls, and one kids meal. We assumed and didn’t check the bags because there was 3 bags - which is totally on us, but got home to find the kids meal, egg rolls, salads, mashed potatoes, bread, and even the sauce/gravy they include with the steaks was there but not the steaks themselves. We had condiments and utensils. Everything except the steaks. We called to let them know and see what could be done. We got passed around a bit and put on hold but it’s a busy Friday night. We finally speak to the right person and were repeatedly told they were in there and to double check. I have everything laid out on my counters. My kids are eating what we do have already. They are definitely not here. They asked us to count and count again. Just kept implying that we were lying. They offered to let us come pick up more steaks but we have half a meal here about 20 minutes away and after the ride there and back, we’ve ruined this half of the meal to go get the main part. We suggested that they could send them here. They use DoorDash and could send them through DoorDash cheaper than a refund. We did not immediately jump to refund. They said they “don’t do that”. Meaning they won’t pay for that, because the menu actually tells you that you can use DoorDash. They offered a partial refund or for us to come tomorrow. But I have one 17 year old boy and two adults left with still needing to fix it for tonight so I’d rather you just refund my meal and no harm no foul instead of me paying $115 for an incomplete meal and needing to go spend more OR having to drive 40 minutes round trip again OR coming in tomorrow after you’ve acted like we were trying to scam steaks. But mostly the sarcastic and rude attitude was just wholly unnecessary and left me really sad and disappointed bc I freaking love their food. It’s so common for to go orders anywhere to have mistakes that it’s just not absurd or unheard of that they made a mistake instead of jumping to it being that we are lying. We were eventually offered a full refund, which is great bc this was an impressively expensive salad and side of mashed potatoes and egg rolls otherwise. So in all fairness they made it right, reluctantly and made us feel shitty in the process. But the attitude was beyond atrocious and I will never order takeout from there again. Honestly, I really hate that the food is so good because I dont want to give them my business in the future and it’s just a shame for both of us. My recommendation is don’t order takeout. It’s not worth it. And if you, CHECK THE BAGS. Probably check them again. And expect to be made to feel like a criminal for their very simple and easily fixable mistake. Dine in was absolutely always lovely though so do with that what you will and those Reuben egg rolls are very good. So disappointing. * edit to add that it was David we dealt with on the phone. Was not going to name anyone but seeing SEVERAL other reviews mentioning his problematic behavior, I thought it best to come back and edit. Perhaps eventually they will take care of the problem in house and I would be happy to patronize the restaurant again at that time.

This is our FAVORITE place to eat ever. It’s consistent and fast every single time, we literally come here any chance we get. One of the only places we can bring our kids because we know we will be in and out and it’s fun! Danielle is one of the best servers but all of them are amazing! Idk how this place doesn’t have 5 stars, whoever complains about it is insane. Great business!

We were visiting from Chicago and we decided to stop in to McGuires for lunch. We had a great experience with Nathan being our waiter. The food was good. The service was great and I highly recommend stopping in if you’re visiting Pensacola.

Let me just say that McGuire's has ruined me. They have THE BEST steaks. I mean, everything is EXCEPTIONAL. I love the smoked prime rib. I dream about it. It's 1:44 a.m., and I am in Huntsville trying to find something close to it, and there is nothing here. Please open a location here and send the Pensacola chefs!

We just left Mcguires and i have to say it was the most incredible eating experience we've ever had. Ally made the dinner so wonderful. She was attentive to every need we had. Always checking on us and i have to say was the best server I've ever had. Thank you thank you thank you!

Today was our first time at McGuires and overall we weren’t disappointed. The food was good.. specifically the Reuben egg rolls & the amber red beer! The bread was also really good! The server recommended a few different options and we ended up getting the Pineapple Hawaiian burger (6/10) and the French dip (4/10). I think the French dip needs a lil something something…like a sauce or spread? Idk. I was trying to be “different” and order something I usually wouldn’t order and I was quickly reminded why I don’t do that 🤣 Our kids’ meals were basic and they enjoyed it. The service was good. Very nice waitress! Helpful too. The atmosphere is different. The dollar bills are cool to see! But, it’s very red and dark. Fits the vibe of a pub for sure. I would 100% go back to drink some of their alcohol beverage menu and have some appetizers.

The food was great and the server Ally, was amazing! She took very good care of our party kept our drinks full and fresh and overall just made the whole night for us she definitely deserves a raise!

This is our goto place every time we are in Pensacola. Make sure you make a reservation on Yelp on Friday and Saturday night. I had the pork chops this last time and they are the best pork chops I have ever had.

Amazing as always! The best prime rib I've EVER had!! I come to Pensacola to visit my brother a couple of times a year and McGuire's is a mandatory stop every time. We had a new server tonight and he was fantastic! Kudos to Eddie for making us feel like royalty. I am completely stuffed as I write this review. I am absolutely miserable! Every single bite was so delicious and we are all happily stuffed! Spinach dip is a must. French onion dip…oh my!! Steak and mushroom pie is another favorite. Matthew was an exceptional server and pointed us in the right direction on everything. The burgers are good, but go for the Irish fare!!!

While the food was pretty good and priced enough to get real full I enjoyed most getting to talk with a fellow brother is Christ, Michael Brandon, who’d done a great job serving and an even greater job caring beyond his job as a waiter! 😁😄

Michael Brandon was an amazing waiter! He made the time we spent there for lunch. I’m very happy we ran into him as our waiter. The food was really good and great priced but just as much was I happy about talking with a brother in the faith and sharing that fellowship with him. He seemed to care beyond the work job.

I'm particular about my steak, often opting to grill it at home rather than ordering it out. However, McGuire's steak was an exception—easily the most delicious I've ever had. I've dined at both their Destin and Pensacola locations, and without a doubt, the Pensacola spot stands out as the better of the two. I 100% recommend it.

Wonderful food, incredibly helpful and friendly staff! Our waiters were Stewart and Joshua - Very kind, quick and efficient service. Our orders were all perfect, no mistakes made and when asked for different utensils and drinks were given them immediately. The food was spectacular and incredibly filling, plenty of leftovers to take home as the portions are very large. I cannot sing the praises of the staff enough, such wonderful employees and incredibly kind people!!!! Highly recommend! <3 :)
