I’ve been here a few times. The food is pretty good but the man taking orders is very rude.

My girls and I absolutely love love LOVE McKinely's for lunch. Wish they were open more, but hey this gives us a reason to have a lunch date! Go to faves are the triple decker and chicken bacon ranch panini. And did someone say dessert? YES - you cannot go wrong with any of them. Cakes, cheesecakes, and cupcakes. No lie, my mouth is watering right now thinking about them. LOL. Keep up the great work guys! Oh, and sometimes you have to wait because they are super busy, but trust me, it's work the wait...just grab a dessert in the meantime! You won't be sorry!

Absolutely the best place to eat in Milton! They have delicious food for very reasonable prices. Such a wonderful experience every time we eat there and we eat there at a minimum of twice a week. There is never a long wait to receive our food. These 2 guys make an amazing team!

It was our first time trying McKinley’s and I’m mad at myself for not going sooner. Without a doubt it will be a regular place for us. Both the panini and wrap we ordered were delicious. And to whoever Lillian is, you make a fantastic Cole slaw. 🥰

Great local place! They are always super polite! They stay busy during lunch, so plan accordingly.

If you're wanting a boujee sandwich or wrap this is the place to go. Nothing I've had there has been disappointing. Definitely recommend trying one of their cupcakes for dessert as well.

You won't get a better sandwich anywhere else in Milton.

We were bike riding on the Heritage Trail. Found McKinely’s Sandwich only 100 ft off the trail. Great selection of meals. We had their Chicken Salad and Buffalo Wrap. Both were fantastic.

Love the restaurant. VERY clean & tidy. Cupcakes are super! 2/1. Had lunch with friends. Food is excellent. Love the location.

The best of Milton!! Everything I have tried is delicious! Chicken salad on various breads, gourmet roast beef sandwich, turkey sandwich, beer soup & desserts are all fabulous & I crave them!

This place is only open for lunch or until they run out, so it was a couple of years before I managed to give the place a try. Today was my second visit and it was great again. My friend and I shared a sandwich and dessert. We each added a bowl of the tomato basil soup.

Our sandwiches were fantastic. The service was great. Seems like a newer place that needs some booths and some decor. I highly recommend the Ruben or chicken bacon ranch panini.

We visited for lunch after looking at previous reviews. McKinley's Sandwich Shop is a lovely small place for a very generous sandwich using Boar's Head meats. They also offer specials of the day and a soup. The exterior of the building is very unassuming - almost like the building is unoccupied. The window near the door has a small shop name. It also looks like there is great potential for an outdoor garden/bistro area with a vine-covered pergola and string lights. The inside is set up to be a little more upscale and fancier than a typical sandwich shop. They serve wine and beer as well as tea and soda. The menu had a nice variety of sandwiches and paninis. Beside the register is a nice selection of cakes and cupcakes to purchase for dessert. It was really lovely. The staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered an Italian and a Club sandwich both on wheat bread. The wheat was amazingly soft, including the crust. The sandwiches were loaded with meats and toppings! It was way more than Publix puts on subs as a comparison to another Boar's Head sandwich. They came with chips, coleslaw, and a pickle. The price seemed right, and we had a nice visit! I would probably not recommend bringing young children here as this place, to me, is for adults (and older kids, maybe) to enjoy a nice sandwich lunch in a peaceful setting. Will visit again!

Arrived at 1:12 pm for lunch. Hours on the door stated the dining room is open til 1:30. But when we went in, the "Dining Room Closed" was up and we were told we could only order takeout.

This little lunch place has amazing food. I had a chicken on croissant comes with cole slaw and chips for 11.00. They open 10am to 2pm.

Wow, 13.99 for a Reuben! The meat w as s dry and basically tasteless. " Coleslaw" was cabbage. Best part of my meal was the pickle and chips. Jason's Deli has a much better Reuben for less money than this place....also, The counter "guy" seemed a bit arrogant and terse. One and done!

We stopped here because my fiance is obsessed with cuban sandwiches. They were so delicious! I am a coleslaw snob, and this is the best I've ever had. Some ancient family recipe. I hope to finagle it out of the owner eventually. Just go. You will love it. Also lots of tastey cakes and cupcakes.

RUDE server! Stopped in for a sandwich with my wife. Very good Reuben. All was good till we were leaving. A young family came in, no tables were ready, so they were standing near a dirty table. The mom had a child about 1-1/2 years old or so. She was holding him while he was standing’s on the table. While I do realize this is not sanitary, the guy behind the counter was COMPLETELY rude and blurted out “get your kid off the table, that is not accepted anywhere. Board of health will fine me if that’s see that”. The young family seemed blindsided. He then, speaking loudly, said sarcastically “ that is unbelievable “! He could have been at all nice and just asked them not to be on the table. Absolutely uncalled for the way he attacked them. Horrible person! Jerk! Rude!

While their food may be good, their customer service and willingness to serve children is unacceptable. Just stopped in their and while in the middle of parenting my two young kids to ask them to stop banging myself, the shop owner yelled “do not bang” literally cutting me off as I was asking them to stop. He proceeded scurry around the behind the counter and whisper under his breath “I’m going to lose my mind” while making eye contact with me. Only assuming he was referring to me and my children. We proceeded to leave without ordering after clearly not being wanted in the restaurant.

I walked in to experience this place for the first time today with my teacher friend group after teaching summer school, and I walked out without even ordering. I will N E V E R return. I haven’t even tried their food, I cannot speak to that. It may be great, but the atmosphere and service made me leave as soon as possible. They were so rude that it felt almost like a prank at first so I laughed. It was not a joke, they were just that rude to their customers. I have never experienced anything like that in a restaurant. I’ve also never left a negative review before, until now.

Food = 3 stars. Service = 1 Easy enough place for a decent lunch sandwich, especially if you want something filling and warm (not just deli). People at work turned me onto this place and today, as a small group of 7 we came into eat. We were able to get one four top table and had asked if we could put another table next to us. We were told "No, we can't move furniture." Fair, it is a small place and the table would have needed to come from the other section. We were able to add two chairs and sit six of us easily at the four top table. However, we had another friend (the 7th) who had come just to be with us---she could not eat, so we asked if we could put another chair at our table. One person was kind enough to grab a couple extra dining chairs from the back instead of the fabric chairs from the waiting area. One of the workers said, "Your group just needs to split up." The other said, "You can't fit that many at the table." I replied that one of our friends was not eating but we'd love another chair please, and the response was, "Well then, we are certainly not moving a chair for her to sit down." That sealed the deal. Our friend left, and we didn't make a fuss. We finished our food and left. From now on I'll just get a pub sub or sandwich from Subway if I need a lunch sandwich. It saddens me that what should have (and usually has been before) a pleasant experience for some coworkers to have a little lunch together turned into us feeling like we weren't wanted there. Please do better for others, and just because someone can't order something in your restaurant doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to sit with friends they were with. We are adults. Not kids who are out not being supervised wreaking havoc!

This was my first time here. All I can say is WOW! The food was DELICIOUS! We had the CLUB and chicken salad on croissant and the chicken Panini. Yummy!

The food Is really good i had the chicken bacon ranch panini with chips and coleslaw and it was one of the best panini's i have ever had,and the blue barry white chocolate cheesecake was just the right amount of sweet .

I love the food but it's so inconsistent. I've gotten the same thing multiple time but it is always different. Also they run out of items often mid day.

Owners are so incredibly sweet! Best sandwiches, great happy hour, just a fantastic little place.

I had lunch here yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend this place. I would give more than five stars if it was possible.

For an affordable price I grab a sandwich, kettle chips, slaw, and a pickle. Staff is friendly and the cup cakes are on point. The environment is nice, a rich green and black theme I really enjoy, just feels different than every where else. Good place for a couple’s lunch date. This is a wonderful local place. We had the Ultimate Club Sandwich. It's my favorite sandwich to order! I always love to order a cupcake for dessert. The orange dream cupcakes are always amazing! We enjoyed the lemon cupcake for my birthday! The service is always awesome and the atmosphere is quiet and cozy.

Have eaten there a couple of times and food is nothing special. Can get about the same as any other sandwich shop. Main issue is the attitude and rudeness of owners. Very unprofessional and crude. No need for anyone to act the way he did over a very trivial situation. Will NEVER patronize this establishment nor recommend to anyone!

So this was the sandwich shop I rode by it a couple of times and I finally got the chance to try it it's McKinney's sandwich shop good place they're only open from 10:30 to 2:00...

McKinley has been one of my favorite spots for ages but I have struggled with them these past few years because they never have any menu items available when I want to order. For what seem like years they struggled with suppliers, they don't keep staff, or close unexpectedly. For the past 6 months or more they don't even answer the phone to take an order and when you get there at noon (they open at 11am) they are out of what you want to order. I have never encountered a business with these many issues over this span of time.

Great sandwiches salads and soup. Cupcakes were amazing. Wish it was closer to Navarre where we live.

Excellent sandwich shop, the super friendly staff builds a great tuna on croissant and club on wheat set of sandwiches. Stopped by after riding the Blackwater Trail for lunch, well worth the visit after a few mile ride. Definitely recommended, looking forward to the next time I'm in town.

Awesome food, even better customer service

We were here for lunch on a Thursday and they were not really busy. Took forever to get the food and non of our order came out together so some of it was cold waiting on the others to arrive. But other then that it was an OK lunch spot.

Decided to try this place out today, went there for someone’s birthday. So we didn’t come in with any expectations, ordering our food was fine and came out decently quick. However the chicken on the chicken bacon ranch panini was just sliced deli meat, nothing special. And when we asked for plates to eat a birthday cake we were denied and told “you’re not allowed to bring food or drinks in here, so you broke the rules and you’re on your own. If you’d like a dessert we have some for sale.” First I’d like to say if we had seen your sign that is poorly posted at the front door, because no one really looks for no food or drink signs, we would’ve respected that. Secondly, we as a group of 4 had just spent $50+ and tipped. The food was subpar, and the way you treat your customers is extremely inappropriate especially when you say things like that loud enough for everyone in the shop to hear. None of us will be back and we will make sure we tell others about our service. I understand restaurants being able to say what happens in their establishments, I’m not arguing that at all. But treat your customers with more respect, don’t just disrespect customers and then run to the back and hide.

Favorite place to eat for lunch in Milton. Great sandwiches and cupcakes. Turkey Pesto is SO good. And I don’t even like turkey!

The sandwiches here are better than anywhere in the area by a mile. Fantastic stuff. They can get a bit backed up as they're not heavily staff (who is right now though), but if you have the time, it is well worth the wait. You genuinely cannot go wrong here, the quality is unmatched.

This place is amazeballs!!! Great experience everytime. The only downside I had would be a few desserts I've had and the ceaser salad. But the owners/staff are so great. The sandwiches are on point!!!!! Love this place!!!!

Gourmet/premium deli sandwiches. I had the Pastrami Ruben which was perfect. Everyone's sandwich was beautifully plated. It was evident to see the food was crafted with care. The cupcakes are decadent. Can't remember the name of the one we shared but it was moist and delicious. The staff was great, the establishment is clean and when you walk in the door the aroma of the sandwich breads, deli meats and cupcakes let you know it's going to be delicious. The painted brick walls inside and vines on the patio give McKinely's a Mediterranean vibe that I just love.

Locals, you folks are spoiled. McKinely's Sandwich Shop is wonderful. We ordered the Turkey and Cranberry signature Sandwich, Balsamic Chicken and Blue wrap, and Chicken and Bleu salad. The wrap had lots of chicken and a good balance of lettuce/veggies and dressing. Very good, I have it again. Salad was well balanced with spinach and romaine lettuce, lots of chicken and big chunks of Bleu. The turkey and cranberry was delicious. If you're a fan of the best Thanksgiving ever, you'll enjoy the hints of cranberry in every bite. On the croissant, it's a favorite. Try it! The sandwiches come with slaw and a pickle... be sure you remember. Once you start on the sandwich it's easy to miss because the sandwiches are so good. The slaw was fresh and light. You can almost taste the sweetness of the cabbage. Not sure how they make it, but it's great. Dessert? Oh my. Cream brulee cheese cake, flourless chocolate torte with raspberry puree! Yum!! Thus far they are open Monday to Friday 11-2pm. Maybe when this covid stuff is over they'll be able to host more hours. Drop by, you'll enjoy.

We picked up lunch the other day and really enjoyed our meal. We have picked up several to go orders over the past few months with the food and service both being excellent.

By far, the best club sandwich that I've eaten in my 45 years of life!! Highly recommended!! Plus, the red velvet cupcake for dessert is to die for.

AH-MAZING!! We ordered the day's special, a steak wrap with cheddar cheese & steak mayo, and the OG pimento cheese BLT. Both were outstanding! The wrap was the perfect amount of crunchy. The steak was tender. And their homemade pimento cheese is always on point. That steak wrap will be my go-to everytime it's available!!

This was the second time I have eaten here. Both times were quite nice. Food both times was great, not much wait for freshly prepared meals, and reasonable pricing! Service was prompt and courteous. I would recommend this establishment for anyone considering a lunch sandwich shop. Both the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and the Triple Decker Club were quite worth the experience!

Sandwiches were quite heavily portioned and included chips. They were very delicious and I will be returning quite soon for another. I had the Pamento-BLT. First one I've ever had and was very excited. It did not disappoint!

What a wonderful little place to stop for lunch! They’re only open lunchtime on weekdays so it’s rare I get to go. I wish they were still open on Saturdays! I love all the sandwiches and salads I’ve had but the cupcakes are to die for!
