My partner and I ordered the three meat/two side plate to share - we got the brisket, burnt ends & ribs with beans and mac, also got a fresh brewed sweet tea. It was our first time & we had drive a bit to try them out. The owner was working & so friendly! He chatted with us a bit up things in the works & we are excited to see those things come to fruition for this awesome bbq joint. The food was incredible! The brisket and beans were my favourite - the beans were truly the best I’ve ever had. Their sauce is amazing. I can’t capture in to words how great this food is & very reasonable for the portion! There was still food leftover because we were stuffed. We will absolutely be making a trip in the future & cannot recommend this place enough!

So glad to have been tipped off about these guys. I was passing by on my way home from work and stopped to give it a try. I got the three meat two sides (which ended up feeding me, my wife and my toddler). I got ribs, brisket, and burnt ends with mac and cheese and beans. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and seasoned perfectly and the brisket was the best I’ve had in the area in a while. The burnt ends were glazed perfectly not swimming in sauce, which I loved. The Mac and beans were also right up my alley. The staff was super friendly and were nice enough to let me check out their setup while we shot the breeze. I can’t wait to go back and keep working my way through the menu.

WOWOWOW!! Meat Candy is the perfect name for this place. The Maple Bourbon Burnt Ends absolutely delivered that sweet, smoky, melt in your mouth experience you dream about. The brisket was maybe some of the best I’ve had. Their white sauce is special too. We enjoyed everything we ordered and had plenty to take home. On top of that, these dudes are kind, thoughtful and definitely take pride in their craft. They took great care of us. Even with the food truck outside, we appreciated that we could enjoy their indoor seating, which had a bar. We’re so grateful that our area finally has some seriously craveable BBQ.

My husband and I ate here while visiting Navarre, AMAZING ribs, brisket, and chicken. So good, definitely will come back before we leave 😋

Best BBQ in the Pensacola, Navarre, FWB area! Wife and I have eaten at multiple BBQ spots across the area and the food here is absolutely delicious. I’ve had the brisket, chicken, ribs, and pulled pork here + all the sides. We enjoy all of it. The brisket is my favorite and the chicken is her favorite. This is our favorite spot. Also the owner and staff are very kind.

My husband and I came by today and wow was this the best bbq I’ve had! All the meats were so flavorful. When we were indecisive they helped us make a decision. We had the pulled pork, ribs and brisket! So good! And their baked beans were AMAZING. Can’t wait to bring my family by soon!

WOW!... must have more of this!!! Ok, being a bit of a BBQ snob I always approach BBQ with a bit of skepticism as I feel I have perfected the art of smoking meat. Saying that this place just hits all the right taste buds and kept you waiting for the next bite! After my wife stoped here on a whim she dared to say this place had BBQ as good as mine! .... what? Well you know I had to check it out. After I ordered every single bite was better than the next. The staff Here was the absolute frendlyist I have ever had the privilege of meeting. If you have the chance to speak to the pitmaster Auggie I would highly suggest it! You can tell he has a passion for his craft and he treats it like art! Great team and outstanding BBQ!!!

Brisket and ribs are super good! Ribs were fall off the bone... And both meats had a nice char on them. Try the white sauce!

Food was legit. A $20 3-meat plate fed 2 of us with leftovers (turns out the wife is a lightweight!) Ribs were great. Good flavor, nice tooth, not quite fall off the bone (perfectly cooked). Pulled pork was tasty, maybe a touch dry, but soaked up the bbq sauce well. Burnt ends were like candy. Pork belly was also candy, but still unctuous with the fat cap. (I see where they got the name Meat Candy) Brisket was just moist and didn't quite need sauce; but sauce complemented it. They had a homemade white sauce. I look forward to trying their homemade bbq sauce when it comes out. These fellas clearly love bbq, talking bbq, doing bbq, and really all things bbq. Add them to your rotation! This is also at a neat location with a deli, a bar, ice cream shop, inside dining area, and 5 food trucks for you to explore your options. Several of our party ordered from other food trucks, but I'll leave it to them to leave those reviews.

The food was AMAZING! From our whole entire vacation this was the BEST meal of we had. The brisket is so juicy & the ribs fall right off the bone! 10/10 !! The customer service was off the charts, so welcoming and friendly. We ordered a little bit of every meat and there wasn't a single complaint with any of it!! The beans are sweet with a little kick at the end, the burnt ends are sweet and juicy! I don't usually post reviews about any food place but this one earned the gold star!!

I've visited this spot twice already, and as a Texan with high BBQ standards, I have to say I'm impressed. The brisket is absolutely top-notch, and the burnt ends are phenomenal. The turkey is hands down the best I've ever tasted. The mac and cheese? Creamy perfection. Plus, the staff is friendly and passionate about their food. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Went today had the ribs, brisket, and burnt ends. The staff and pit master were great, even showed me the pit they run. Food was perfect, no complaints and the pricing is great as well. The only barbecue spot in the area I’ll happily go back too.

I read so many 5-star reviews, so I was excited to try their food. The service was nice, and they seemed eager to help me make a decision on what to order. I ordered chicken thighs, pulled pork, and chopped brisket. My side dishes were coleslaw and mac and cheese. The sides were inedible. Dare I say disgusting? Gross? All of the above. The meats were dry, and no one liked the food. I'm not seeing the hype around this place. Maybe try the meats, but steer clear of the sides.

The food was good and the guy working the register was nice. Ive now tried every bbq place from Fort Walton to here and this is my opinion: 1. The pulled pork is spot on 2. The burnt ends were half good and half unedible. Some were almost rock hard, while the thicker pieces were delicious so maybe just a one off 3 The mac and cheese had good flavor but was dry. Seems like it was held longer than an hour My least favorite. So fresh i bet its banging 4. The beans were good 5. I ordered a 2 meat plate and was disappointed that i got as much meat as my wife did who only got the one meat. Picture attached. I expected two full portions but i also assumed, so probably my fault as only a 3.00 difference probably doesnt justify a full other portion, but i would think more. Overall I was gonna do 3 stars, but chose 4 because it was very slow so I know how it is to hold food and keep it top level when slow while controling costs. So I feel this played a part, but the 4 star decision was because I can tell they got the flavor profile down and the guy at register gave great friendly service so a 3 isnt right. Ill be be back for sure.

The first time here in April was amazing! Had the brisket and pulled pork and I was amazed and in love. Wife and I came a second time and her brisket was 10 times more fatty. Pulled pork was out. So we thought we'd split the brisket because there was so much and it was delicious. Now, understanding that brisket is not the leanest of cuts. But... This time half was just pure fat. Super disappointed compared to last time. But I thought I'd come back one more time to see if I alone could get the brisket (it was that good the first time) but was given 4 slabs of almost pure fat! Not coming back for a while now. That's for sure.

The food was in a word, outstanding. My husband had the chicken and brisket. I had the pulled pork sandwich. The portions were so large we brought what seemed like second complete meals home. I commented I would be stopping to get extra buns and they gave me several to take home. It's the little things that are big. We'll be back, often!

I eat here several times a week and never been disappointed. The bbq is consistently good and tender. I highly recommend Meat Candy BBQ

Picked up a pound of pulled chicken and a pound of pulled pork. It took me awhile to float down off the cloud I was on to be able to write this review. So thankful for a wonderful bbq place so close by that is a five star!!!

My first time here and it did not disappoint! I did a 2 meat/2 side plate with the brisket, pork belly, baked beans, and mac n cheese. The guys were even nice enough to let me sample a rib since it was my first time. I'm usually an extra sauce on the side girl when it comes to BBQ, but everything was seasoned well and I didn't need anything. The brisket was super tender, the pork belly pieces had good fat/meat ratio, and the rib was delicious too! The baked beans are on the more tangier bbq sauce side if you like that, and the mac n cheese hit the spot. I was in the area but live in Pensacola and would say it's worth a drive over for the BBQ!

Put this in your face! I'm pretty picky about my Q and this brisket was locked on... meat was great... crust was an example of meat art...flavor was, well...Meat Candy. Don't be a sucker, get to the candy shop!

Google searched for something good and came to this place for the ratings. Wow.. Did not disappoint.. All the meat I tasted was very good. Brisket had a great bark and was very good! Prices are on point for BBQ. If I was to criticize anything it would be the coleslaw.. It was just OK. But the baked beans were freeken great! Plenty of places to sit.

This is hands down the best BBQ in the Pensacola/Navarre area. Burnt ends are probably the best tasting meat I've ever had, ribs are incredible, and the brisket is absolute perfection. The guys running this food are the nicest folks around and very obviously love what they do. Since they set up at the spot they are I think Ive eaten there at minimum once a week. We live down the street, so we got take out, and it all lived up to every great review on here!! There are also other food trucks and a really cool place to eat inside, with more food choices AND ice cream. There's a bar if ya want a beer with your grub and bathrooms, too. Ì can't wait to eat more Meat Candy and try some of the other food at this new fun place😋

Maybe it was a bad day and it was around 7ish, but the macaroni and cheese was inedible. The baked beans were just ok, but not something I would want again. The ribs and brisket was just Ok, as well in my opinion. Not really flavorful and couldn’t taste the smoke flavoring on the meat. Would I give it another chance, yes but if it’s the same I wouldn’t eat there again.

All I can say is WOW! Recently moved from Memphis so my expectations for BBQ are already High but I can say The Meat Candy BBQ exceeded those! I have been let down with other area "bbq" spots but The Meat Candy is where it's at! Tonight I got the pulled pork sandwich with Slaw, beans and Mac and cheese. The pork had the perfect smoke, moist and great flavor. This is the first pulled pork sandwich I could have eaten without the bbq sauce and slaw and it still would have been awesome. Sides were great and the slaw was on point too! Can't wait to come back for the Burnt ends and Brisket No pics to share because it was gone before I knew it 😂

Just had the pulled pork sandwich as my first meal from Meat Candy today and it was EXCELLENT. I am usually big on using a lot of sauce but the meat had such a juicy, smoked consistency that it was delicious all by itself. Their barbecue sauce was just an added treat. And portions are more than generous. Can't wait to work my way through the menu!

The maple-bourbon pork belly burnt ends definitely qualify as "meat candy," and the coleslaw containing cilantro and no mayo is different and equally deliciousThe bark on their ribs is world class, combined with the deep smokey tenderness of fall-off-the-bone meat, definitely make this food truck a regular stop on my family's takeout menu rotation.

Man those burnt ends were sooo worth the wait!! Not in line in my timing.... melt in your mouth goodness!! Brisket was delicious as well. Read so many 5star reviews, couldn't wait! Went to their truck, nice people. Ordered the 3 meat platter there was so much grease in the Styrofoam it was leaking before I even got in my truck. The meat was cold sitting in greasy mess & Frankly it was cold & flavorless. Burnt ends hard as rock not edible. Sides were average at best! Disappointed especially at over $20 + you expect better. Maybe just a bad day? 👎

Hands down the best BBQ you will put in your mouth. The brisket is juicy and tender the burnt ends are awesome and the wet Mac and cheese is crazy good. Every item on their menu is top notch and not outrageously expensive. Go check these guys out

I am a door dasher and I got a pulled pork bbq sandwich from here and it is honestly some of the best pulled pork bbq I have ever had and I will definitely be coming back.

Oh my word!! We just ate the best bbq The Meat Candy BBQ. We could not be happier with the food and the guys were great. You need to check out this new little hub right there at the end of East Bay. We had ribs, chicken, thighs, and samples of some other incredible concoctions. So good. So glad to have great barbecue this part of town.

The pulled pork was soft and juicy, and the baked beans had a little bit of kick in the best kind of way. You have to try this place out, you won't regret it!
