Placed an order for 5 items at 6:45. Pickup is from 7:15-7:20. Got my incomplete order at 7:40. The restaurant only had a handful of customers. I would never submit this review if anyone had just said something along the lines of “we are sorry about your wait”.

Amazing pad see eww with tofu. I got it medium and could’ve gotten it hotter for whoever enjoys the heat like me. The veggie spring rolls were thin and longer so it gave an extra crispy crunch!!

I recently had a delightful lunch at this restaurant in Gulf Breeze. The ambiance was pleasant, and the two Thai waitresses were very welcoming and attentive. We ordered the Thai Beef Stir-Fried Noodles and the Beef Noodle Soup. The dishes arrived with an inviting aroma that made us eager to dig in.I had the Beef Noodle Soup, which had a rich and flavorful broth that was truly commendable. The flavors were well-balanced, and it was a comforting dish. My daughter had the Stir-Fried Noodles, and she found the taste to be excellent as well.However, I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement:Beef Texture: The beef in both the noodle soup and the stir-fried noodles was quite tough, making it hard to chew. It would be great if the meat could be cooked to a more tender consistency.Rice Noodles: The rice noodles were not soaked properly, leaving some parts still hard and undercooked. Ensuring the noodles are fully softened would greatly enhance the dining experience.Overall, we enjoyed our meal and the service. With a few adjustments, this restaurant could become a favorite spot for Thai cuisine lovers in the area. I look forward to visiting again and seeing these improvements!

The food here is always absolutely phenomenal! Taste of Thai always has the most authentic tasting dishes. I worked with many Thai people for many years and they cooked for me. This is the closest to their home cooking. Also, the ladies here are soooo sweet and kind!!!! I have a sprained ankle and picked up some food. They were very concerned for me and offered to walk the food to my car. Soooo sweet. I can’t get over how kind that gesture was!!!! This place is the best!!!

We felt bad about coming in half an hour before they closed, but we were coming from Louisiana and were looking for a quick lunch. Still, the staff was incredibly friendly. The food was perfectly seasoned, restaurant was clean and inviting, and the menu even has options for the picky eaters or children who don’t want to eat Thai food!

Been here a couple times and loved it each time. I've tried the pad Thai the basil.. We'll definitely go back again and try others.

Service was great but there aren't any options for vegetarian as all of their curries are premixed with fish sauce.

Come for the food and great service. It's obvious they want to get you good food in a quick time frame. This was obvious a Denny's (or something similar) at one point. They have spruced it up some and added soothing music. The beer and wine is basic, but I'm not here for the beer. I came for the crab rangoon and pad Thai. Both were delicious!

We had the drunken noodle and the pad Thai. They were both good but the pad thai was better. Really good and comes out hot and fresh!

I ordered the drunken noodles. They were good. I also had a Thai tea & it was soo good! We had a large group so I called ahead earlier in the day to ask if we could use the private room & we were accommodated very well.

It's an old IHOP that they turned into a delicious Thai restaurant. It might have been the best Thai I've ever had! It's right on the level with Sawadee Thai in Niceville and Pad Thai in Ft. Walton Beach as the best in the area. Highly recommend, food was cooked to perfection and delicious. Had the steak and pork. The only thing lacking was their hottest level wasn't that hot, I definitely could have used the heat turned up. Highly recommend.

My first time eating here, the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely clean tasting not your typical Asian place and they coach you on the spice level which was very helpful. Will be back for sure💪🏽

This was one of the most poorly managed restaurants I've been to in all of gulf breeze. I needed to pick up an order and it is not a seamless experience by far. Be prepared for it to take 15-20 minutes for the staff to rudely figure out your takeout order when you pick it up! The audacity to run a food business but get irritated by people simply trying to get their food on time is baffling.

We always get takeout. Food is always ready fast and staff is very nice.

What can I say about this place? There were 10 tables waiting. There was one waitress. She was also the hostess. And she was handling takeout orders. Just watching her stress out over all the workload made the experience bad. I felt so stressed sitting there watching someone suffer under such a workload. The food was absolutely awful. I could have gotten better Thai food at Walmart. I regret going to this place. I will never be back.

The food here is amazing. Every time I have come here the food has been cooked well and everything has been delicious. I enjoy the spices they use in the food, but for those who can't handle spice they do allow you to choose how spicy your food is. The only issues I have is that the service can be really slow some times especially on a busy night. Last time we came in to eat it took us some time to get seated. We also were left waiting at our table for a while before we were helped. Then it was a while longer before we got out food. However it wasn't an extremely long wait and the food came out great so it wasn't that big of a deal.

The yellow curry with chicken was delicious. The temperature was nice and hot, and it was rich with flavor. The service was excellent. I would definitely come back here.

As always, the food is very flavorful! (which I'm very grateful for!) But I ordered a yellow curry with chicken and shrimp. And it only had 3 pieces of shrimp in it, and the tails were left on. I had to put my fingers into hot soup and pull each tail off. Yet, still, their food has very good flavor!

This was horrible. This food had absolutely no flavor at all. How do you mess up pad Thai and curry? So disappointing

We had the Panang Curry and Cashew Nut Stir-Fry and they were both really good - better than any Thai food we have found in St Louis and a close runner up to the Surin restaurants in Birmingham. We were also pleasantly surprised by the price after paying beach prices at other restaurants all week.

This is actaully the best Thai in at least 30 miles. The ingredients are fresh and prepared amazingly. Though they don’t trust me when I ask for Thai spicy cause I’m white lol

This used to be our go to place. Never again. Pad Thai was just gross and dinner portion was smaller than I'd expect for a lunch serving. Overpriced to top it off. So disappointing.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area. I go here maybe once a week and it is worth the money every time. I get the pad see ew or pad Thai most times. The takeout is super easy, and I recommend calling ahead to place your order. The portions are large and fit the price, I can’t recommend this place enough. My photo isn’t the best, but I normally eat the food so fast I don’t have time to take a picture :).

I ordered the combo Thai basil stir fry and had it delivered. There was barely any food. It cost me with tip 33$. I got a New Ginger in for $33 delivered. I have enough food for my wife and I’ll eat three days. Very disappointing.

This is my first time eating here and will definitely be my last! Probably the worst thai restaurant i’ve been to!!! Our rice was old , gross and stale. We also ordered massaman curry and it tasted old. Potatoes are mushy!! Just disgusting and a waste of my money!! Also terrible customer service 0/10 don’t not recommend!!!

I’ve been going here for years, before they moved. I came in to pick up my order, waited for 5 min while girl behind desk finished phone call and then went to back. During this time about 4 people came in behind me. When girl came back out she gave meals to the 3 people behind me, that came in after me, without even acknowledging me. This is rude and unprofessional.

Pretty inauthentic. The rice used was regular American rice and the curry was more like soup than anything. The curry's flavor was stir fried vegetables and then a splash of coconut milk. And those spice levels were a joke. Overpriced and underwhelming.

Go here at least once a week, never had a bad time. Friendly service, and food comes out nice and hot. Thai basil with tofu is amazing. 10/10

What a nice, clean, and friendly place with great food! I really like this restaurant and I'd go back anytime. The only improvement I'd make is on the portion size and the price. Their lunch portions are a bit small for the price.

I've eaten Thai food around the country and also in Thailand. I can easily say this was the most underwhelming dish. The flavors were dulled and tasted as though almost out of a can. The scrambled egg in the dish has a sulphuric flavor, and the pork tasted as though previously frozen. It took a while to receive our meals, and the presentation was also not particularly appealing. The first table where we sat had small ants.

My first visit, and the red curry with coconut milk was delicious. I will definitely go back.

Pork fried rice was mushy with no flavor. Cheese ragoons no flavor and a odd taste. Spring rolls not good. Very disappointed.

Exceptionally mediocre. Bland, with flavours that aren’t Thai at all. Overtly salted and cooked hastily with little care. Not terrible but if you love Thai food you will be disappointed.

Enjoyed eating here a few months ago! However this time my takeout order of spicy chicken noodles was not very nice. Noodles & veg were mushy & fairly flavorless all around! Our crab rangoons were cold & tough to chew. And we were not late picking it up. Lot of money to have to throw into garbage. Very dissatisfied Won't be back.

Please keep in mind that my wife is Thai and at home we are very picky about Thai food. We ordered online so this review is just on the food itself. We ordered Pad Thai Chicken and Tom Kha Chicken. Wow! The taste of both were on point! The label of spicy was just what we ordered. Tom Kha is not a hard soup to make, but nonetheless we have been to many places where they don’t get it right. I could taste the Tom Yum and the coconut. They didn’t over do it with the coconut, it was perfect. The only thing the Pad Thai was missing was bean sprouts (I’m being picky), but the taste was a perfect mix of spicy, sweet and sour. The noddles were cooked perfectly, not mushy, and not hard, just right. Taste of Thai in Gulf Breeze does it right. We will definitely come back here to try other dishes.

Food is very good but the portions have become very small over the last several months. My young son got the ramen and it barely filled half the plate. I got the rice soup and the size was disappointing. We both had to order more food. For the price I would expect plentiful noodle and rice dishes.

The servers were supper nice especially Dao and the food was so amazing and full of flavor. The pineapple sticky rice was my favorite dish. I really recommend this restaurant to anyone that’s looking for something to eat.

I ate lunch at Taste of Thai on Highway 98, (which is east of Garcon Point Bridge or Hwy 281) on a Saturday afternoon. The crowd was small, the restaurant was clean and the booths comfortable. Plenty of parking. The food was perfectly prepared. We got three different appetizer for a wide variety of selections! The service was very attentive. I'd go back again.

Yellow curry was just spicy enough. Clean comfortable dinning area. Quick service. One of the better meals we had in Pensacola

I walked in and ordered takeout. The woman who took my order was very friendly. The basil fried rice,steam dumplings, and Thai iced tea were all tasty! The food was done so quick that I thought she was telling someone else their food was ready. I will definitely go back if I’m in the area again.

Their Pad Thai is to die for and Pad See Ewe is also divine. I had Tom Kha coconut soup which was absolutely delicious and a very large serving! My entree was Thai Basil Tofu which I ended up taking home and was even tastier the next day :)

I used to eat here twice a week minimum but the food quality has went downhill and the servers care more about money than quality.

I love taste of Thai but they have moved all the way down into the old IHOP building I love the chicken fried rice because of my boss man but now they want you to pay $13 for chicken fried rice that barely has no chicken in it And people wonder why they cannot keep customers with everybody's skyrocketing their prices then skimping on the food

This place has great flavor, but if you order combination chicken and shrimp, expect there to be very little chicken and maybe 2 to 3 shrimp for $17/ per item. There are other places that give you a tremendous amount of chicken and shrimp for that price, after ordering 2 items and spending close to $40 dollars it was lacking tremendously in the amount of protein per price.

I had Chicken & Shrimp Pad Thai as take out, it was good but the chicken was over cooked (better than undercooked though!). I know often times it’s hard to get take out to stay fresh, and not continue cooking in the box, so I still give this place four stars!

This is a great respite from the beach restaurant scene. The food was authentic and tasty. Prices are reasonable, and the entire restaurant is immaculate and clean. Service was good and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. If I lived nearby, I would eat here at least once a week. In particular, the Tom Kha soup was my favorite. I had to pick up the bowl to get every last drop, but I wasn’t leaving it. Thanks for a great experience. To the managers, you may want to add publicly available Wi-Fi since the cellular is spotty, I would have rated you from the restaurant. Keep up the great work!

Excellent, authentic Thai food! Wish we had this in Missouri. Super friendly staff, clean restrooms and dining area, and fresh ingredients. If you love Thai food, this is the place for you. We will be back the next time we’re in Pensacola.

Taste of Thai is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Gulf Breeze. The food is always really good and it comes out quickly! The servers are always nice, and give good service even though they are typically understaffed.

Only complaint I have is, I ordered springs rolls and a side salad and was brought out before my husband's meal . Usually a waitress will ask, is your meal, and will bring it out with everyone s meal.......other wise very happy and we'll be back.

I’m a part time grub hub delivery driver every time I get to the restaurant to pick up an order it’s never ready on time I always have to wait 20 minutes or 10 minutes for an order for one person to be made when the restaurant receives the online order before I even arrive they will say we are sorry for the inconvenience but I had to wait entirely so long just to pick up an order and deliver it and then people get upset that their order is cold when I arrive maybe they’re only doing it just to me because I’m a woman of color I don’t know but I’m just tired of this expect your food to not be ready on time if a woman of color comes to pick it up ‼️

Not impressed. I think their recipes are good but the cheap ingredients and cooks that smoke are what ruins it. The beef in the beef and broccoli was as tough as shoe leather. And I knew the cooks smoked because it was so salty spouse couldn't eat it and sent it back. Also, you get about 5 tablespoons of food for avg $13, 14, 20 for the entres. Appetizer tasted frozen. Pad Thai was ok. A little salty and very tiny portion. I think people are figuring this out as there were very few customers there at lunch. No lunch menu, but then again, they couldn't get the portions much smaller. Their full portions are half the size of most of the other Thai places lunch portion. As I said, not impressed.

Nice new place. Food was great. You won't be disappointed. Good customer service. Facilities are big inside with plenty of room to sit.

My wife had the tropical fried rice, and I had the pad Thai (Thai hot!!). Both of our entrees were excellent. The Pad Thai noodles were cooked to perfection, with the hot spice as requested. The fried rice was full of flavor and the perfect amount of spice. The establishment used to be an old iHop, so don’t let the interior be off putting if you’re into experiencing authentic Thai cuisine. Thank you Taste of Thai 😄

Wish I hadn't waited so long to try this place? The food was great. Love that you can choose how spicy your dish is. Waitress was very helpful in choosing a dish. They also have local brews on tap. Very clean and friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Susan our waitress was amazing tonight ,even tho they were short staffed .she had nine tables and did her best . This was our first time eating at this restaurant the food was delicious. I did notice that some of the other tables were getting frustrated …..BUT we have to be appreciative of the people that actually do want to WORK !

I've loved all the things I've eaten from here. Tom kha is SO GOOD. So is the papaya salad. Yummm! I also love the yellow curry. The restaurant feels odd because it used to be an IHOP, but just ignore that and enjoy the food.
