This restaurant needs a serious renovation and so does the food. 😝🥴🤬 The egg roll was tough and greasy. The vegetable lomein or whatever you call it was just horrific as if it was made with old noodles with some kind of brown secret sauce poured over it !!! I see why they don't eat what they serve other people!!! What a waste of my time, gas, and 💰!!! Drove to another place to get something else. Damn, I've got to choose better places. 🧐 🥵 Won't be going back to this hole in the wall.

The food is fabulous!!! If you receive what your order. There is a young female who takes the orders and has no customer service skills and is rude and disrespectful. She gives you whatever she wants instead of what you order. So frustrating. She needs to find another job position.

Stop going to this establishment always no beef dishes not even beef fried rice . No won ton soup food is ok but service and availability is the worse don’t waste your time .

Freshly cooked to-order. This is truly a hidden gem. Great prices + Generous portions + Great taste. Highly recommend the Kung Pao Chicken. Worth checking out if you haven’t already!

I am giving this place 5 stars because the food was amazing! Our daughter has been recommending it to us for years and it's a bit farther than we go to pick up food, but totally worth it. Fresh, hot and NOT greasy like other Chinese food we have had. I can't wait to go back hoping to try Shrimp rolls, etc because their fryer was down when we visited. We ordered 2 of the Lo Mein house special which has Chicken, Pork and Shrimp. It was loaded with shrimp and the pork was like char sui with crispy red edges. It came with fried rice. We received 1 full Styrofoam clam shell of each and it was more than enough for 4 hungry people.

This’s my third time it’s awesome. Great taste portions are good enough for the price. Egg drop soup, fried rice, lo mein, broccoli beef are super good.

I will order from them again. Lo Mein is 👍 good. Beef was tender and tasty. Love supporting good local family owned and run business.

Food was undercooked and salty. Orange chicken was the worst ever. 1st and last time there.

Order general TSO chicken and sesame chicken but they had no sauce to them and were dry with little flavor the rice was cooked thoroughly but lacked flavor as well sort of bland the crab Rangoons I think was trying to make up for the entrees becuase the Rangoons were pretty good would order this again.

I've been going here for lunch almost every week for close to a year now. Food is always great. Worst thing that happens is that sometimes they run out of items. Small carry out restaurant that actually has good food. They have 2 tables inside to dine in if needed but I've rarely seen them used.

After eating here I experienced the worst stomach ache I have ever had , it kept me up all night cramping pains. This is the second time it has made my stomach ache really bad but I figured I would give them a second try just in case it was something else I ate. Absolutely never again

I absolutely adore this restaurant. Easily the best Chinese food I've ever had. If they're closed, I don't even get Chinese from anywhere else in the area because it doesn't hold a candle to Mei Garden. Combo plates are super worth it. Favorites: twice-cooked pork, beef with black bean sauce, and hot & sour soup.

Decent Chinese take out. Rice and chicken wings lacking flavor. Wing skin a little too thick not enough meat. Sesame chicken tasty but crunchy as if it was just fried breading. 3/5 not the worst but not the best. I'd go back for the lo mein. Skip the pork egg rolls, so small thought they were lumpia.

Read Update below-I know most people love this place but I got takeout and I found that the food was not very good at all the rice was tasteless the chicken I got I’m not even sure it was chicken or just mushrooms looked like there was just alot of mushrooming and not much else going to give them Another try today maybe I’ll try the compound chicken if not goodbye Okay I have tried the food again and it was very good indeed im beginning to think covid and taste > the chicken with veggies is great, as the kun pow and the egg rolls are very tasty beef and broccoli is great

I ordered the chicken with mixed vegetables in a brown garlic sauce. Wonton soup and an egg roll. WOW!!! Finally a Chinese place here in town that gets it all right! The wonton soup must of had 12 wontons in it! The brown sauce was to die for. Sooooo much food!! It was my first time trying this place and will now be the only place that I order Chinese from here in town. Great job guys!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😁😁

The food here is amazing this place is a hidden gem. If you're Puerto Rican it's very similar to Chinese from the island. I highly recommend.

Been looking for a good chinese spot around here because I recently moved to the area and been living in Orlando for 5 years. Asian food is my favorite, so I did my research about good chinese food spots, and so far I had 2 that were my go-tos... BUT let me tell you, the food was SO GOOD AND TASTY, i’m so happy I found this place. Will definitely come back. Really liked that the kitchen was open and I could see how clean everything was. The food was exceptionally tasty. And the owner was really nice and respectful. 10/10

Singapore Chow Mei Fun noodles are my favorite, minus the pork. The owner is very friendly but her English is very hard to understand. Great portions as well.

I always order takeout by calling in my order. Usually ready in 15 minutes unless it's a Friday or Saturday night. Then it's about 45 minutes. The food is always prepared hot. So it's fresh. I've been eating here since 2017 and I've never had a bad meal here. The staff are always pleasant.

As I was looking for chinese food, this was one of the only chinese restaurant that was available in the area for pick up only during this pandemic. I made the right choice. The food was very fresh and tasty. It was ready at the time they promised. I want to thank them for remaining open and will definitely come back.

03/22/2020 YUM! SO FRESH! WORRIES??? NOT!!!!!! This chef has been too busy cooking & raising 3 kids here for the last 6-10 years that there has been no time to travel anywhere! Hello!!! Use the brain God gave you! Enough said! Back to the review. 2 Fridays ago I spoke to one lady coming out with 3 huge bags & asked what she had. She said, (H. 10) "7 STAR AROUND THE WOON. I want to try other dishes, however, I always order this one! THIS DISH IS ALWAYS YUMMY!" For the 3RD TIME LAST WEEK (Yes, I admit I would rather have this chef cook.) The (#80 Shrimp & Snow Peas ) so fresh & good! I wish I had a picture to share, however we were so intent on eating this great food that I did not think about it until it was all gone. :) The broccoli tastes fresh picked! As well as ourselves, Another Satisfied Customer Came for his favorites 3 Or More Times Last Week Too! (#CP 33 Spicy Chicken with Garlic Sauce, #80, #100, Veggie dishes are my Favorites and the (# 78) Beef Curry is a family favorite! Our neighbor gets Grub Hub, or Door Dash to deliver. Go to the delivery company site & order. Honestly, the chef at Mei Garden Chinese Restaurant, 3760 Howell Branch Road Winter Park, FL could beat any celebrity chef hands down. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT COOKING CONTEST!!! GO There, (It is way faster) Order, & get some fresh air. Simple! Each order is cooked to order and if you want less or more spice it can be done. ENJOY!!! PS I hope they have to hire more help this week!

We recently moved nearby and decided to try Mei Garden. Their food is some of the best Asian food that we have tried in the area. They only have one or two tables, so the food is best taken to go. Friendly staff, fair pricing and relatively clean environment. We will certainly be back!

Really good food and huge portions

Decided to try mei garden because they were close to the house. Got chicken fried rice, chicken Lo mein, and beef and vegetables.. Literally all 3 plates were probably the best Chinese I have ever had. Looking forward to ordering from there again.

They always have good food here. This is a family owned establishment with enough seating for a few people. The place is definitely not fancy but the food is always good and you can't beat the price. I have seen them coming from the store with fresh produce on many occasions to cook am order. The food is delicious, plentiful, fresh and very reasonable priced. Plus I love being able to see them make my food and the care that goes into every dish. They are not fancy but they aremy favorite neighborhood spot for carryout. If I'm hungry and don't know what or where to order from I usually end up ordering Chinese from here and am always pleased.

I’ve tried a few Chinese places so far in the winter park/casselberry area and hands down this is the absolute best! 10/10 will be eating here again

OMG! I saw the reviews but wanted to try it myself. I e been looking for a good restaurant in the Winter Park area. This place has great prices, huge portions, and yummy food! I bought the $6 lunch special and it was so huge I had to save some for tomorrow! Definitely coming back 🙂

This restaurant is the definition of "family owned" and "one-man show" at the same time. The food is great and the portions are large with prices that are wonderful as well. Although it can be more of a wait when they are busy, I will not deduct any stars for that since it really is usually one person working. Although the English language may not be #1 priority, the food is.

Food is unlike any other Chinese restaurant They have things you can’t get anywhere else Also they are not cheap with the portions or ingredients... if you order shrimp anything you get a good amount of shrimp... place may not look like much from the outside but dang can they cook! I’m obsessed with (Singapore rice) which is the fried rice version of Singapore mei fun... I eat allot of Chinese food.. I’ve been everywhere... and I’ve become picky as of late.... this place never lets me down.
