Can't say enough about Mel's Grill! We hosted a brunch for our daughter's high school graduation party, and they provided three types of breakfast burritos and French toast sticks, all of which were delicious! Both Joe and Rich were incredibly helpful and easy to work with, and everything was ready on time and just as ordered. Mel's Grill never disappoints!

The strawberry chicken wrap was excellent. Service was good, even healped carry bags to car. Only problem was they forgot the soup in our order. We didn't check, so our bad as well. Outside space was nice, maybe a little loud with traffic.

My wife and I got take out. Good quantity for the price. The fries and chicken tenders were dull tasting and were in desperate need of seasoning and flavor.

Thus was a very nice diner with all the classics but trust me the rodeo burger with extra bbq sauce witch was what I got is delicious with a side of fries of course the people were nice enough and the place has a nice cozy feeling in conclusion this is a really nice place for some lunch

We stopped in for a quick breakfast and have returned multiple times now. The waitresses are friendly while being quick to greet, provide drinks and menus, and take orders with a smile. The cook staff are consistent and super fast! Our meals have always been delicious, hot off the grill, and staff check in frequently to make sure we have everything we want and that we are happy with our food. Salads are hearty, full of crisp lettuce and veggies (no need to handpick out any wilted greens here!) and you'll find your favorite in the dressing choices. We are so happy that we found this gem of a diner! We've made this a go-to for a solidly great tasting meal with outstanding service! You will not be disappointed! But, be warned: you may end up driving out of your way to return, again and again!!

One of our favorite breakfast places! They are always friendly and the food comes out so quick. The hashbrowns are always cooked to perfection with a crispy crust and not dry inside. A very solid breakfast choice!

Mel’s grill 2 is a great place for breakfast/lunch. You can never go wrong at either location. The waitress staff and cooks are awesome and pleasant. Their menu has a lot of good food choices to choose from and everything is awesome. The patrons that stop in are regulars, a lot of great conversations and friendship are created. You can always tell a place is good when all the customers are locals that come every day. We were there in the early morning. Service was very friendly and fast. Prices s lot cheaper than expected. Food was fast, fresh and very well prepared and tasty. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

There is no service like you get here. The food is cooked exactly how you ask, even when you order carry out it is perfect. The wait staff is extremely friendly, very service oriented and better than I’ve had at very expensive places. You would think you were paying big money for your meal, which you certainly are not. It’s reasonably priced and always awesome. I wish everywhere we went was like this.

I generally go to Mel’s on Saturday or Sunday morning every weekend to get breakfast. Cannot say enough about the staff. They are super kind and friendly. Food order is always quick prices are good and everything always taste excellent. I always look forward to it on the weekend.

This is by far my favorite lunch and breakfast place to eat. Food is fast, fresh and good. The service is top notch.

Staff is chaotic and the whole order was messed up except for the pancakes. Not one visit for a check up after food delivery. Had 4 different waitresses. Was very disappointed in food service today.

Great outdoor patio for dining under the sun or shade if you prefer an umbrella. There are many options for breakfast and lunch. The service was good, we had one main waitress but it seemed like a good team effort. Different waitresses came around to check on us and fill low coffee mugs to the top. The food was good, one recommendation would be to make the hashbrowns more crispy. The avocado toast has runny egg, so beware if you don't like runny egg yolk.

I'm a trucker who was passing through Clarkston, making a delivery, and stopped at Mel's grill for breakfast. What a find! I sat at the bar and was immediately helped by a super friendly waitress who was happy and smiling, and that is a welcome thing early in the morning! I ordered their carnivore quesadilla breakfast special, which came with hash browns. Food was AMAZING, and a great portion for the price! The waitress even made it a point to wish me a great day on my way out while she was at another table ! I'll definitely be stopping back in next time I'm in town!

This is a small diner with a ConeIsland feel. While being small we didn't feel squashed. It has a better menu than your typical Coney and EveryonE's food was GooD! And there was 8 of us! Very clean.

I was driving through Clarkston for work and I stopped in for a cup of coffee, immediately I liked the atmosphere of the place. I stopped back in later for lunch and had a pleasant chat with Dawn, I witnessed one of the waitstaff have a conversation with a customer in sign language, and I had a delicious lunch (classic Reuben sandwich.) The next week I’m in the area again so I decided to stop back in and the server this time tells me about their weekly French toast special. Get this, whipped marshmallow cream cheese, peanut butter sauce, granola and Captain crunch crusted French toast. It was incredible, I could barely finish a half order (with sausage links of course,) and it didn’t even need syrup (although that would probably be good). Absolutely phenomenal. Anyway, if you read this long I should probably stop wasting your time now. This place is awesome and I highly recommend it.

We stopped by for lunch and didn't have alot of time. They had our order ready and out to us in no time. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I would highly suggest this as a goto place to eat

Diner atmosphere but all was clean. Food and service were tops! After years of hearing friends talk about their love of this local eatery, I was finally in the vicinity during their hours of operation (breakfast/brunch/lunch spot) to sample for myself. My friend had the Baja Chicken Soup (served with "tortillas" made from their house pitas), and the little stock pot serving was a photo I had to take to show my daughter, who loves miniature items and soup!
