Very mediocre Virginia style Mexican food with a full bar. Extremely loud when crowded, which is often because they are the only Mexican food in Urbanna.

Great spot to get that Mexican food spot feel. Small place with really good food. Some outdoor seating but it is just in the parking lot. No view.

I don’t usually like Mexican food outside of Mexico. Neither does my partner. Enter this: clean, fresh, tasty, not soggy. You can actually distinguish one dish from the next. Amazing. Great flavors - really! I LOVE their food. Here’s the kicker… they have their refried beans on the vegetarian menu, and it’s been confirmed for me by more than one employee, on more than one occasion, that there is pork in their refried beans. That’s not ethical. If you’re putting pork beans on your veg menu, you’re not only disregarding people’s dietary choices. You’re endangering people. Some people have allergies to pork and this could harm their health or put someone in the hospital. Please rectify your menu so people know what they’re eating. It’s great food. Make it honest food.

Best Mexican restaurant that I've been to in a few years. Authentic food. Great margaritas with fresh lime juice. Fresh salsa and lettuce served with my meal. I had a lunch burrito that was excellent and packed with meat. I can't wait to go back again! Perhaps the only area of improvement from my perspective would be the nachos and the salsa dip served with the meal. Nachos were rather bland and commercial and salsa could have been thicker and hotter.

This is absolutely the cleanest Mexican restaurant I have ever been in my life. I've been all around the world to have Mexican food and lots of different atmospheres. I was honestly say this one Topps it all. Great food great service and the cleanest place in history.

We went for the 1st. time tonight. A great Mexican restaurant in Urbanna, Va. We started with chips and red and white sauces. The chips were hot, I liked the red sauce but, wasn't a fan of the white. I had the Quesadilla Rellana with chicken. It was delicious, tender chicken and the beans were great too. The rice was equally delicious, I ate the whole thing! Mike had the Arroz Con Pollo with extra veggies, he liked his a lot too. It came 3 tortillas. Said he would definitely get it again. Our friend got the Monterray Chicken Tacos. She said they so good! It came with a side of rice and beans. She liked her Margarita as well! Our waiter was great, very nice and friendly!!! If you are out anywhere near Mi Jalisco's you have got to stop in! You will be well taken care of!

The food was good, but not great. Often on the weekends during their rush it’s very noisy because of the small space. During this time the wait staff often forgot to check on us and we were left with empty drinks and having to get someone else who isn’t our server to help us.

Tacos are amazing, actually everything I have tried is excellent. Service is fast and professional, staff are really great.

OVER the moon about the food and service. I usually order the same thing from a Mexican restaurant due to other Mexican restaurants. This one is an exception, I have tried three different dishes and have not been disappointed. This has been and will be our "date night"

Mi Jalisco is absolutely our go to Mexican restaurant. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional, the food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. They remodeled earlier this year and have even more seating so you almost never have to wait for a table and the outdoor seating is comfortable and fun.

My first time eating here. It was great! I don’t like white sauce. But the white sauce here was oh so good. It was sweet but spicy. I got the Combo Dinner #17 no beans, covered in queso Blanco. It was great!!! My new spot after work.

Great food with outstanding staff. Some of the best Mexican food I've had. My wife had a Steak Jalisco which was delicious. Everything was great, right down to the Choco Taco desert. Can't wait to get back there.

The food is great and the staff very attentive. Since the renovation, the room has become rather noisy. The nacho Fajitas were fantastic!

We love sitting outside with jumbo margaritas. Food and service is consistently excellent. Mango Chicken Tacos , Fish Tacos, Fajita Quesadillas are our favorites. We know we can bring guests and never worry about the quality. Jewel of Urbanna restaurants. Highly Recommend.

I'd be ashamed to call myself a Mexican Family Restaurant if I didn't serve horchata. Jalisco doesn't serve horchata. Yes, it's quaint, affordable, and the service is speedy. Great dipping sauces for the nachos. My shrimp tacos were just OK ... they were little more than shrimp rolled in a taco with hard to find tomatoes and a dab of spices. I'll give the place another try and sample a different entree.

If you like Mexican food, you will love Mi Jalisco! Small, out of the way, and simply good food. The service is immediate and the servers are friendly. The food came out quickly and was hot (temperature) and tasty. We each enjoyed taco plates; 3 soft tacos with delicious filings and rice and beans sides. The chips and salsa were delicious and fresh. So, if you're on your way home from shopping and don't feel like cooking, drop into the Mi Jalisco in Urbanna and you will leave full and satisfied. Plus, no dishes to wash when you get home!
