The month of February, they have a special going on. Five 2 ounces pours for fifteen dollars every Thursday. They also allow you to bring in outside food. I am just loving Thursdays now.

We had a surprise birthday party for my wife and couldn’t be happier!! Kathryn and her team were amazing from start to finish!! Everyone enjoyed the food and wine. The trivia game was great as well. We will definitely be back!!

We loved the location and wide wine selection however upon sitting down we wanted to create a high to top for three rather than two. This was because the table top for four was crowded in the corner and we wanted more room to enjoy ourselves. Please understand there were over 20+ chairs and only TWO other customers in the entire winery. Unfortunately the rude sever stated “that high top is for four” and did not allow us to move a chair from one table to another. I understand on a busy weekend being unable to accommodate guests requests; however, when business is slow and there truly are more than 10+ table open making customers feel welcome and comfortable should be priority. I was completely disgusted with the unwelcoming attitude upon entering this establishmentP for the first time. Please go to Unwined winery on van dyke and 21 mile for a much better experience. Not only are their wine prices cheaper the staff makes you feel at home. I will not be returning to this establishment and encourage others to avoid it at all costs unless you want to feel uncomfortable during a wine tasting.

I usually come here for Thursday night Trivia. At first the service was great then as I started coming here every Thursday for Trivia we would come here have the same server. The service was horrible. She didn’t come around to refill our water but to ask us a few times and then at the end of the game for us to pay. I didn’t want to go back. I found out she recently quit and I went back for another Trivia night and the service was a lot better. She came around to refill our water and to see how we were doing.

The wine itself was amazing! Unfortunately, my husbands ID was triple checked due to it looking “too small”. It made our experience a tad uncomfortable although wine is always a good cure. It wasn’t our first time and won’t be our last, just hoping for a more friendlier environment next time.

This was my first time at this time establishment and I had a good time. I'm not a wine drinker but my companions were. Two of them ordered a sampler of three different wines which they said were good. I opted for an orange cream soda. The wait staff was friendly and fast. To add to the atmosphere, a man was singing and playing his acoustic guitar.

Amazing. Nathan was more then helpful, the wine was delicious and we wound up buying a bottle of what he suggested for our tasting. Awsome experience

Adorable and fun little tasting room with knowledgeable staff, lots of seating, and a small patio for outdoors. Great selection from six featured wineries, including the delicious tasting Rove Estate in Traverse City! Close to Hall Road (M-59) and had some delicious snacks. Tastings were a tad too pricey for Michigan wines at 3 for $15, but definitely a fun quick date away. Note: each location of Michigan By The Bottle features different Michigan Wineries. We went to this one JUST for Rove Estate (one of the best in Traverse City). Wishing they featured Shady Lane like the Auburn Hills location or Blackstar.

I've been going to MBTB for years, and will continue to support this business. Cort and Shannon are incredible people, and they support so much goodness. The wine selections are great, the people are great.

Had a great time this past weekend. Service was great and it was a nice relaxed atmosphere. I think a nice option that they should look into are aerators when pouring directly from the bottle.

Pleasant atmosphere, decent wine but not great. The samples were just dropped off at table without being told which ones they were so of you liked one you didn't know which one you were drinking. Very difficult to buy a bottle to take home when you don't know what it's called.

Best Michigan wine around for tasting

Always a great place to go. Husband had his free flight today as we belong to the sipper club. Many perks to joining but it is always optional. The staff is knowlegable and friendly. Great wines and snacks available.

Wonderful staff! Everyone is so nice and very knowledgeable. The wine selection is fantastic and there is a large variety of locally made foods available to pair with your wine. The staff always go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and the owners are wonderful.

This location is just ok. Seems like service is great if you're a regular, if you're not it's very slow (I'm not). I've been here twice and both times I was unimpressed. I've been to the Auburn Hills location and really enjoyed the environment, staff and food. This location just didn't measure up.

Staff is great and kind.. they are extremely informative. I didn't know a single thing about wine and the waitress took her time and explained each type of wine to me.. they also have live music on friday's great variety

1st time here and really enjoyed the wines and apps. Knowing they only serve Michigan wines is great, allowed us to get some wine from traverse city that we can't find anywhere else. Nice to have a local tasting room supporting local wineries.

Wonderful Michigan Wine, Michigan snacks (cheese, crackers, chocolate, and more) served by a super staff that are friendly, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. It has become a favorite place for us to be and we have meet do many new friends here. Years later... it is just as awesome.

Our host Nancy was an absolute angel. She answered all of our questions and made the intimating world of wine very approachable!

Great place for wine newbies. Had no idea what I was doing the first time I came in, and the staff asked me about what I like, and picked wines for me. That was almost a year ago. Now, I spend entirely too much of my money here. The staff is awesome, and I haven't met a Peninsula Cellars wine that I didn't like yet.

Wonderful service wonderful wine had an awesome flight of wines which were accompanied with wonderful variety of cheeses and the coop to Degraw was the variety of chocolates at the end. They had a one-time discount to buy the bottle of wine of your choice which was a really good deal.

My husband and I stopped in for Sweetest Day .The Sweetest Day package was awesome .The staff was great very friendly , helpful and educational. We had a blast. Looking forward to returning soon. If you're looking for a great place with a wonderful atmosphere you must drop in well worth the money.
