Tony's Cowboy Burger is one of the best burgers I've had in a while!

Love this place! The BEST steak subs around!! Oven fired pizzas are great. Small business, very friendly fast service.We found this place while on a trip about 6years ago and frequently make the long trip just for the Steak subs, they use fresh,quality meats and ingredients. I can't say enough good things about this little gem. Must visit, you won't be disappointed. The only seating is on outside porch so plan on taking home or eating in vehicle in cooler weather.

Tony's has amazing fresh food and made to order food. We had 2 pit beef sandwiches and a wood fire deluxe pizza. The service is amazing and the food is some of the best in the area. They also have a lot of different BBQ sauces and aoli's. There is decent amount of fairly priced meats and cheeses including deli meats, beef selects and chicken cuts.

Great food and great service! We had the Mega Pit Beef and the Steak & Cheese Sandwich with a side of onion rings. The beef was piled high on both sandwiches, and it was very tasty. We just moved to the area and will be back to try more!

Awesome pit beef sandwiches and perfectly spiced hot handcut fries! It would be nice if something "greener" could be used instead of single use plastic containers, like wrapping the sandwiches in butcher paper or cardboard to go boxes.

Mega. Pit. Beef. This sandwich was brought to Tony's by an angel who said, "Go forth, and deliver the most delicious sandwich man has ever tasted!" And there was much rejoicing when the people of the world came to Tony's and ate the Mega Pit Beef. Seriously, this sandwich is amazing, with every part of it in perfect harmony. If you stopped reading here just to get to Tony's quicker to eat the Mega Pit Beef, I would claim you a smart person who is in for a delicious meal. We only ordered sandwiches (two MPB and a ham sub), chips, and drinks on this trip, but I'd be back to sample the butcher meats and deli as well. Steaks looked well trimmed and bright red, with lots of options to choose. Slab bacon was seen and I'd bet it's delicious, especially if smoked in house with that fantastic beef. Has just about everything you'd expect from a local butcher, and probably more I'm unaware of. Staff were helpful and patient as we browsed the menu and the shop. Lots of people were in and out while we sat on the front porch and ate, clearly a favorite of locals. Many came to pick up pizzas as well as bags of delicious meats, so I'm guessing those round creations of love are also tasty. Mega Pit Beef. Change your life forever.

Family owned business with delicious barbeque smoked on site. Big serving! Tidy and friendly people. Lots of different cuts of meats to choose from this deli. Will definitely return.

Every thing is consistently amazing from Tony’s. Great subs, sandwiches, pizza, pepperoni rolls, and of course meats! My family and I have been eating here for years and have never had a bad meal.

Very disappointed - We had planned on stopping here all day, based on a recommendation, and when we showed up 50 minutes before close, were told that we could not order pizza, there wasn't enough time before close. Poor customer service.

Beef sandwich is to die for! Very tender, fresh cut fries are great, just ask for no spice if you don't like spicy fries, ( I like them better without the spices) Haven't tried there other items but looks good! Can get cut steak, chicken to take home

Their hero sandwiches are the best, worth the price. NJ style rolls!! The butchered meats look amazing not I've not tried them yet. Still love love love... I've tried their steaks and chopped beef.. very good.

Wonderful shop, I ordered some pizza from them late in the evening. Super nice and helpful. Inside the store is clean, organized and well stocked. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this business to anyone. Their hot food is wonderful but also the cold deli food is great quality.

Pros: Place was very clean. Staff very friendly Cons: Cheese lovers pizza didn’t seem to have any garlic crust as advertised. Crust burnt and sauce tasted sharp and sweet Regular hamburgers tasted like meatballs, not hamburger. Fries or chips not included. BOTH teenagers not feeling well about 30-40 min afterwards. Stomachs feeling like they want to get sick, stomachs are cramping. Pulled pork was good, hardly any coleslaw, more like a wiping of coleslaw. (which was extra charge). I ate a few bites of pizza as well…. I’m not feeling well now.. about 40min in. Just got here for vacation. I hope we aren’t sick for the few days we’re here. Doesn’t meet a 4.8 for prepared food. I’d give it 3 stars and if we all get sick, it will get a 1 for prepared food. UPDATE: Family feeling better after pepto. With all the good ratings, we must have gotten lucky and hit them on a really bad day. But, we aren’t going to give them another try.

Great local place to eat. Minimal Outdoor cafe seating. Mostly for take out. It is a Combo butcher shop and grill. Reasonable prices too. Flavor of the beef was amazing. Smokey and satisfying! The Pit Beef (pictured) comes with barbecue sauce, sliced raw onions and coleslaw. NICE!

This is great place to buy deli fresh sandwiches. Six of us ordered five different sandwiches and all were thumps up. Good price too skip the fast food for Tony's instead.

Ordered the Gorgonzola and steak sandwich, tots, and Italian rainbow cookie cake. The sandwich was wonderful. The tots were a little too seasoned for my liking. The texture of them was great. But the seasoning they use must have had some cayenne in it, and it was just a tad too spicy—especially paired with the bbq sauce they serve it with. I don’t mind cayenne but I’m thinking it was an issue with the ratio they used with the rest of the spices. Otherwise, they still get major kudos for thinking to season their food well. I appreciate that! The Italian rainbow cookie cake was good too. If you’re into amaretto flavored desserts, this is the one to try. There is no indoor seating but there are cafe tables outside and a bathroom. The deli was immaculately clean and cheerful. And the staff were super helpful and kind. We’re planning on doing more trips across the PA, MD, and WV borders to try out the full spectrum of this menu because southern PA is a food desert.

Love this place. Would’ve given 5 stars but what kind of place that serves dinners, close at 6 through the week. I get off at 5:30 and it takes me a half hour to get there. Would love to see them stay open until 7. Guess they’re making enough money and don’t need anymore customers.

The super pit beef sandwich was amazing medium rare pit beef thin sliced red onions cheddar cheese bacon barbecue sauce horseradish sauce and garlic butter toasted bun. So glad I didn't stop at McDonald's.

Wow! Stopped by Tony's Butcher Block during a recent stay in Berkeley Springs. We were lured in by the "PIT BEEF" sign out front, and my-oh-my, those sandwiches did not disappoint. The beef was smoky and incredibly tender, and the bacon and cheddar cheese on the Mega Beef sandwich was a perfect compliment. The fries and tater tots looked and tasted like they were fresh from the fryer, and even the wing dings were delicious (and I say this as someone who normally doesn't prefer breaded chicken wings). My only regret is not being in town right now to try some of their other offerings. If you're in the Berkeley Springs area, stop by Tony's for some AMAZING sandwiches.

OMG ! Ordered ribs for take out while visiting Berkeley Springs. They were fantastic! Cole slaw and potato salad were good and nicely completed the meal. Pepperoni rolls were delicious! We called ahead a couple of days and ordered our food. Every thing was ready and just like we ordered. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend!!

First time going there this year for our annual hunting trip stopped there to eat on a whim and my gawd it was absolutely fire 🔥 food was amazing fries were crazy good also went back next day dripped a buck off I have processed amazing job as well all vacuum sealed and packaged individually and got all my meat back top notch on that as well one stop shop they also have fresh cuts of meat butchered right there for you to carry out very clean and everyone had mask on thanks again can’t wait til next year to come back

Stopped here on the way through town because I noticed a pit beef sign out front.. It was the best BBQ beef sandwich I've ever had.. They even offer horseradish sauce as one of their condiments.. I know I'll be craving this fantastic sandwich in the future! Everyone working here will welcome you with a warm smile..

I love this place. Everytime I visit Berkley Springs, I always have to stop for a pit beef sandwich. It's so freaking good! Staff is also so nice.

Fast service, Great food & Good People

Pulled over on a whim while passing through the area. Pit beef sandwich was great with horseradish cream, though I wish I would have gotten it with onions also. My friend had it with bbq sauce, slaw, and onions and also reported satisfaction. We split a half order of fries, which were delicious to as well. Thick cut and seasoned nicely. And what a generous helping - can't imagine how big a full order would be! Definitely will stop again next time I'm passing through.

Excellent sandwiches and service!

In the area for 3 days staying at a cabin. We planned to only eat out the first night we arrived for ease while settling in...but we returned every day! It was sooooo good and I don't even personally eat meat. Had the tater tots and fries mixed as a side to food I prepared that I could eat and give them 1000 stars. My family (who all eat meat) also gave glowing recommendations. Even our picky 6yo twins. Ate it all up every time. My partner says it was the best burger she's ever had (and we are avid national and international travelers). Like if Diners, Dives and Drive-in was still a show these folks would be a top nomination for us. To top it off the customer service was good too. COVID-19 NOTES: They are only serving from take out window. About 50% of patrons are wearing masks, almost none are standing in line 6ft apart and most of employees at/near window are wearing masks.

This is one of West Virginia’s best kept secrets/ hidden Gems! It’s like getting the goods straight from an authentic NY eatery. The Italian Hoagie is simply the best! The fresh baked bread is amazing! The pizza is wonderful! BBQ Pit sandwich .... amazing! Well worth the 2 hour trip from VA! Highly recommend!!

This restaurant immediately showed empathy and went above and beyond to help me put together an order. Thank you to the entire staff for being nothing short of amazing and kind.

Best Italian sub in the area. Hot roast beef is excellent. Their meats and seafood are outstanding. I eat there and take home either seafood or steaks for later. I highly recommend Tonys.

A memorable roast beef and horseradish sandwich; one of the best I’ve had. Just enough horseradish to make my nose tingle, tons are great meat and amazing bread. Next time I list my in-laws I’ll be sure to make a visit.

We stopped here on our way to PA for some lunch, and wow were we impressed! We had the meat lovers pizza, and not only was it perfectly wood fired, it was made from scratch (even the dough). The meats on it (pepperoni, sausage, bacon) had great flavor too, as did the red sauce. The people were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We drive through this area a few times a year (and occasionally vacation in the area), so I will not be surprised if this place becomes one of our future eating stops.

I ordered an Italian sub with added Soppressata. The sub was up there as one of the best I've had. Excellent customer service as well. Nice to be treated with respect and kindness as opposed being treated as a burden which seems to be the experience at so many retail establishments. Many thanks for the great food and smiles.

Passing through from VA to PA. Nice deli selection, seafood and cheeses. Ready made salads and subs. Got the pit beef sandwich and was not disappointed. Wish there was more mom and pop places like this. Worth stopping in for sure.

Visiting from out of town and came across this unbelievable local spot. Excellent sandwiches we had the pulled pork and the pit beef! Get the slaw and the horseradish sauce you won't regret it. The staff was super friendly, let us eat on the porch with our dog. And do yourself a favor and buy some steaks and seasoning to take home with you! This was a perfect close to our anniversary weekend..... Steak and ceasar salad for dinner. Plus if you ask nicely they will give you cooking tips on the cut of meat you choose! 6 Stars!

It really speaks volumes when a person from another state relocates to Berkeley Springs and not only has the best food but the best food shopping experience. And that goes for the people employed. little on the high side but if you want quality you'll pay for it if you want subpar you will shop at Food Lion.

Loved the place! After a long drive from Va. Beach we pulled our convoy in and had some of their "Signature sandwiches!" Fantastic! You need to eat here! As soon as we pulled in we were welcomed by the awesome smell of the smoker, go inside and you smell the cheese and meats....yum! Friendly service and great, fresh quality food!

Yup, butcher shop, deli,biestro sort of place . Takebout or on the porch - seating is limited. If youre rushed call first. Its small and thats how they tAke care if you . One at a time. 522 south of Berkeley Springs. The place uses Best quality stuff to make their subs and sandwiches. Yes,you will pay a bit more but just a bit . Lets face it 8-9 bucks for the top tier sandwich meal at Mc D’s and about the same for sheetz. 10-11 for Tonys and there is really enough there for 2 ( avg luncheoneers). Steak and cheese sub is really good (no steakums here) . In fact , ITSALLGOOD. This is carnivore shangrila. I have had one slice of their woodfired pizza and will be going big with that next time. Nice job Tony.

What a gem of a Butcher/Deli in Berkeley Springs, WV. Meats & Seafood are top notch, you couldn't ask for any better. The subs are fabulous since the bread is baked daily.

So happy that they are now open on Sunday & Monday! Warning: if you go on a day that they are cooking ribs (I believe just Friday & Saturday), you might buy the whole place. Whether I’m stopping in for even just a loaf of their bread, a cup of soup or a “deli salad” from the case, doesn’t matter how little I intended to buy, the smell of the ribs is too inticing.

Gem of a find in Berkeley Springs. Full service butcher shop with fresh baked bread in house and a sandwich menu. I've tried almost everything on the menu and everything is prepared so well and fresh. Must haves: Chicken Caesar Salad (homemade dressing is A++) and the Steak gorgonzola sub. Truth be told, you can't go wrong on any of their selections...

After a misty day of hiking in Cacapon Resort State Park, my husband and I stopped at several places looking for a bite to eat where we could sit with our dog or at least keep an eye on him. We finally decided to just find a pizza to go, and made it to Tony's where we were pleasantly surprised to find an ample front porch with plenty of room to sit outside with our big guy. We each got a pizza (well, our dog didn't) and found it wonderfully tasty. Great fresh and doughy crust and fresh toppings. And friendly folks working there, too! Highly recommend!

Tony's is my go-to place for everything for bones for my dogs to the most awesome pizza.... so good to have a quality deli in our little town! We are so lucky to have Tony's. Everyone who works there is super-nice. The fish is always fresh, the sandwiches made with love (try the Italian with everything! It's the BOMB), the hot items like ribs and barbeque chicken are great to grab for lunch or dinner. Tony's is the real deal! I can't believe the person who said they bought a rib roast that was all fat. I've bought all kinds of meat from Tony's, including prime rib, steaks, short ribs and brisket, and it's always been fabulous.
