This place is amazing. We've been trying to find a vegan/vegetarian dim sum place since becoming vegan and we lucked out on our trip to Miami. We got the 8 course tasting menu and were overwhelmed with how amazing each course was. I hope this place continues to expand (maybe to Tampa in the future!) They'll definitely have our business and we'll be stopping here on every trip to Miami.

Minty Z is our favorite spot for dining out, and for good reason! Nikki, our server, is simply exceptional – she's attentive, personable, and makes every visit special. Chef Pedro's culinary talents shine through in every dish, consistently delivering delightful flavors. The food here is always excellent, and the combination of Nikki's service and Pedro's creations makes it our top choice for a memorable dining experience.

Absolutely delicious!!! This is the second location for Minty Z and it is located in Midtown. This is a vegan Asian restaurant. We took advantage of the lunch special (1 appetizer, 1 main and a beverage for only $ 20). Food was so tasty! We had corn wontons, cucumber salad, kimchi fried rice and kung Pao tofu. We also ordered (outside of the promo) sesame bubble balls sundae. It was so unexpected, different textures and flavors that we've never tasted before. A must visit!!!! Service was perfect. Bathroom super clean. Paid street parking available.

I love Minty Z! this was our first time at this location and it was just as good as the Grove location. We did the Spice special my favorite was the scallion pancakes and the sweet and sour mushrooms. The service was excellent. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing vegan food, friendly stuff.

We went there for the Miami Spice tasting menu and we weren't disappointed! We ate all 10 courses and were stuuuuuffed. Our faves were the cantaloupe tartar, Cuban corn wontons, and the sweet & sour mushrooms, but everything was delish. We got to sit outside and the service was lovely. They ran out of beignets which was too bad, but we got a lovely maho sticky rice instead. We'd definitely visit again 😊

We had a wonderful Miami Spice dinner. We chose the $45 menu. Great value. So much food! All vegan and delicious. We love the one in Coconut Grove and had to try this one out. They didn't disappoint. Scallion Pancakes and bao buns were my favorites.

Minty Z is the kind of restaurant where the flavors are amazing and so unique you really have to savor the food and not just scarf it down. Get the scallion pancakes and massaman curry noodles - delicious!

The server was great but I can't say the same about the food. Very small portions & we found the food to be bland. We had bao buns, Cuban corn wantons, & mushroom stir-fry. Everything was just okay. The mushroom stir-fry was very disappointing. I paid $18 for a tiny plate of mushroom (mostly cremini), no other veggies or rice. We won't be back.

The food at Minty Z was super delicious. Best Asian fusion vegan food ive had. Abel and Nicole provided amazing service which made our experience wonderful.

This place was delicious! We loved everything that we ordered but particularly the boa buns.

We came for lunch, and ordered the cantaloupe tarare and classic bao buns- it was incredible!! The service was great, and @Wisty was so friendly and helpful! Highly Recommend!

Great vegan place if you like Asian food! Would definitely recommend for both the filling main course rice and noodle dishes, or the dim sum and appetizer small plates. Service was prompt and friendly and our server Wisty was considerate and knowledgeable about the options. Definitely a place I would return to for future meals!

Delicious food and great service, its located on street level of a residential building in front of Midtown Mall. Delicious flavors, and great lunch specials, will definitely visit again.

I’d give this restaurant -1 stars if I could. I overheard the owner saying that Indian people are cheap and that’s why they don’t tip. food is flavorless, staff is embarrassingly slow and on top of that extremely overpriced !! Stay away from this overhyped place

Such a great surprise!! Best vegan Asian in Miami. The sauces are so delicious and loved the dim sum.

Minty Z is soooo delicious. We tried about half the dishes on the menu and enjoyed each one more than the next - the ube sweet potato bao, truffle edamame har gow (dumplings) and lemon miso yu-chow (a type of sautéed broccoli/bok choy green) were among the standouts. Our server Wisty was attentive, informative and kind! Go check it out. We will definitely be back.

I am from Jacksonville and we have nothing close to this for vegan cuisine. These carefully crafted sauces, lovely sake drinks, and oh my god vegan dim sum! Service was impeccable as well and the staff seemed very professional but friendly. Chef was willing to accommodate a special request as well

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a new vegan restaurant in town, and I was absolutely blown away by the food. The menu features a wide variety of dishes, all of which are incredibly flavorful and satisfying. We started with the smashed cucumber salads, which were the perfect blend of spice and crunch. The cauliflower kimchis were also delicious, with a nice kick of heat. For our main courses, we had the broccoli & cheddar wontons, which were truly unexpected surprises. The wontons were perfectly crispy, and the fillings were both cheesy and spicy. We also tried the bao beignets, which were true delicacies. They were light and fluffy, with a delicious sweet and savory filling. For our sides, we had the lemon miso yu choys and the Cuban corn wontons. Both of these dishes were very good, and we would definitely recommend them. The lemon miso yu choys were surprisingly flavorful, and the Cuban corn wontons were a staple item that we would definitely order again. To finish our meals, we had the pineapple fried rices. These dishes were as you would expect, with a sweet and savory flavor. However, they did leave a bit of a residue in our mouths, which was a bit off-putting. Overall, we had an incredible dining experience at this vegan restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great vegan meal. 5 out of 5 stars

Been a regular at Minty Z over 2 years, love the food and the customer service. We always order the cantaloupe tartare, king oyster mushroom bao, massaman curry noodles, the chow fun in midtown is my new favorite.

I recently went to Minty Z Midtown. I was surprised by how awful it was. I have been to many vegan Chinese inspired restaurants. This place was by far the worst. The food looked pretty and tasted like SAD. I don’t think they specialize in Chinese cuisine, I mean my rice was semi cooked brown rice. Hard and chewy. It needed to be cooked another 15 minutes or so before it should of been served. Brown rice is not the norm in Asian cuisine. The tofu was rubbery and not at all what it should of tasted like. The serving size of the food was small and inadequate. The flavors were just not there. You will most likely leave unsatisfied and hungry afterwards. The prices is to high for the food that is served at Minty Z. The food is inferior. I spent around $150 for 4 mains and 2 sides. If you are looking for Amazing Vegan Chinese Cuisine, give this place a miss. They are not worth the time and money. I give Minty Z Midtown 2 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ One Star for Food and One Star for Service. The service was good and that is the only reason that Minty Z gets a second Star. Parking is paid parking on the street.

One of my favorite places in Miami! The service is excellent and the food delicious. They always greet you with a smile and the people who work there are very good at explaining what the dishes consist of and making suggestions. All the options are incredible but I recommend leaving room for dessert!!

We discovered Minty Z by chance walking in the area. What a delicious vegan place. So much so that even non vegans would love it. It offers a fusion of Asian cuisine that is well worth it and come back again and again. The staff is attentive, courteous, and aimed to please. Wisty was exceptional especially when initially we were somewhat hesitant about any of the dishes. She explained all the dishes we were asking about and even made some delicious suggestions. Great job Wisty! 👏 We’ll definitely be back for more.

Great vegan pan-Asian cuisine, each time we come here we just sit and enjoy all the amazing options Minty puts in the menu. Whether vegan or not, this place is a must-go!

Minty Z is a Plant Based Paradise! As a vegan I struggle finding a plant-based restaurant that I can take my non-vegan friends to, that was until I found Minty Z. And now they have a new location in Midtown, which means I can finally convince my North Miami friends to come to dinner! I love the original Coconut Grove location but sometimes it's hard to get my friends to make the trek. I love the new space too, its super bright with a cool new mural. Located across from the Target, it has great outdoor seating & they have a bar inside too! Their dishes are awesome, my personal favorites are the Massaman Noodles, their Classic Bao & Prosperity "Beef" Gyoza (both made with their house blend of mock meat! These are my go-to orders for skeptic meat eaters) & of course the smashed Cucumber Salad. They also have an Omakase Tasting Menu if you just can't decide and want to try a little of almost everything. The service is quick and the staff are really lovely. The dishes come out staggered so it really is best if you order a bunch and share with the table. Dim Sum style. Like their Coconut Grove location they do $1 ea of their wontons on Wednesdays & one day I will just turn into a wonton! If you haven't been yet, make sure you don't sleep on this place. And now with their new location there is no reason not to check it out!

Minty Z in Coconut Grove quickly became one of my favorite restaurants. I am often near the new location in Midtown, so thought I would check it out. Not only is the food just as wonderful, but this location seems a bit bigger, has great outside space and a really cozy bar. I highly recommend trying it!

Minty Z Midtown is an amazing new restaurant everyone in Miami should give a try! Food for everyone. I promise you will love some of my favorite dishes (I included pictures of them) as much as I do including the MASSAMAN Curry Noodles, King oyster mushroom baos, shrimp shumai dumplings, Cuban corn wontons, Thai curry cauliflower & so much more! They have such a unique decor too! Also, you will notice the beautiful mural in their dining room created by local miami artist Jake DeSalle aka @JMORESUN , who also created the mural at the original Minty Z location in coconut grove back in 2020! You will love this place I guarantee! They have many great dessert options and drinks as well! Try the Cherry Sangria Kombucha which features a label by the same artist JMORESUN who created their murals , how cool?!

The flavors were exquisite, with a perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, and savory notes that left my taste buds dancing with delight. I started with the avocado spring rolls, which were filled with a generous amount of goodness and served with a flavorful dipping sauce. For the main course, I ordered the Kung Pao tofu, and it was a game-changer. The tofu was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, coated in a rich and tangy sauce with just the right amount of heat. The dish was accompanied by a bed of brown rice that complemented the flavors perfectly. Next time I will try King Oyster Mushroom Bao. Excuse any spelling mistakes I may have made

Had dinner here on Friday night and ordered cantaloupe tartare,classic bao, and Kung Pap tofu— everything was delicious 🤤,service is good so as the location! Good place to hang out for sure!

A terrible dining experience. We had to wait for more than half an hour for the final dish, during which time we had finished all the other dishes, but we had to foolishly wait for this last dish!

We didn’t have a good experience here, we went for dinner and specifically asked that we didn’t want anything spicy, the server said he could do that so we ordered and everything was VERY spicy. We didn’t like our server’s attention, he said the food wasn’t spicy but it clearly was. The Argentinian server helped us and apologized. Won’t come again.

Minty-Z in the grove has been on our favorite go-to spots in the grove for vegan cuisine! And now they have just opened their second location in Midtown Miami!!! Spread the vegan love!!! We went as they were still brand new and open for dinner service only, but now as they are thriving and vibing, you can start to see their hours expand for lunch and brunch and even Wonton Wednesday is there too now! Their midtown location still offers the best things about Minty-Z: ambience, wonderful staff and owners, and delicious meals made with love and care! With the open concept kitchen here, you can watch some of the action from your table too! The menu is still just as wonderful and has their classic dishes like their original location. Be sure to make reservations first as they can get packed any day of the week! Congrats to the Minty-Z on the new expansion and continued success!!!

However, still giving five stars bc the welcome and service we received while making our reservations at their other location was top tier. Amazing new place in Midtown! I highly recommend the Broccoli Cheddar Wontons and the Thai Curry Cauliflower. The Bao Beignets absolutely slap as well for dessert.

We had the honor of visiting the cool, new Midtown Minty Z location on their pre opening day and as expected, we were so impressed with the service, the speed the food came out, and the quality and flavor of everything we ate. This is vegan food that when you’re a non-vegan you would happily convert if you ate food like this everyday. The sweet potato bun and matcha crème brûlée are my personal favorite but everything was amazing. everything. pro tip: get the sauces, dip everything in all the sauces. Restaurant is modern and clean, vibe is upbeat and fun. 10/10, can’t wait to come back.
