Mission BBQ is always amazing, and this time was no exception. I get the lean brisket with burnt ends, and it was delicious. They have sauces you won't find at typical restaurants as well. Try their Carolina mustard. And the walls lined with tokens of our country's past soldiers and first responders will strike at the heart of any warm-blooded American. Get there before noon and join in the national anthem!

2024 Update: stopped in for lunch today and it was great, as always. Dani is always such a delight as she speaks to everyone out in the dining room. I tried the Mac and Cheese today for the first time and it was INCREDIBLE. Definitely give it a shot next time you stop in. Super nice staff and delicious BBQ! This is one of those rare instances when a new restaurant is hitting on all cylinders starting opening day. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly and management is super helpful. A sandwich and side and drink combo will set you back at least $11 but the portions are definitely commensurate with the price. Make sure you join the Birthday Brigade and you automatically get a free sandwich coupon immediately! Even at the peak times, the staff operates smoothly and the orders come out quickly. I highly recommend the moist brisket and pulled pork and make sure to sample all 6 of the sauces!

Finally went here for take out. Funky nice atmosphere. I got the brisket w corn muffin. Very expensive and you have 2 pay for any extras! But brisket was really good. Got the lean brisket, yet had a good amount of fat on it. Wish they would cut the fat off before they give it to you. Will be back 4 more though! Would be great 2 include some sides!

I've been to 100 BBQ places across this country over the last 40 years, and lived in Texas and NC, and tried them all including places in Memphis. Bar none, this is my #1 choice. Brisket had a nice smoke ring, very moist and lean (requested), and generous serving. Veterans get preferred parking and a free side when they go. I supported a First Responder program and have a cup to get free drinks. Tyler was out asking if we needed anything and offering free dessert to first responders and Veterans. I am blow away by the experience. Clean, nice folks, reasonable price, generous portions.

This was mine and my sons first time trying out missions BBQ. As soon as you walk-in, you’re instantly greeted with the delicious aroma of the food! Staff members , including Nat were extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions. They have a variety of sauces to fit greatly with your taste buds. The food was amazing! My son is a picky eater and he loved every bit of his pulled pork sandwich and fresh fries! We will definitely be visiting this restaurant again when we are in the area! As my son said it is “1000000 out of 10” 😆

We went for the first time yesterday and it was excellent. Everybody was very kind and the food was great. I would not hesitate to go again and enjoy the food and service. Our son had his 16th birthday and he got a cake. We will be back

I was ordering for my sister & have never been before. Everyone was super nice & helpful...answered all of my questions with a smile. They had a cute basket with Peyton Heart Project on the counter, which I picked up for her & she loved it. She also said the brisket is amazing! Thank you so much 😊

One of our favorite places. Their BBQ is always exceptional. The meats are tender and very well seasoned. Service is impecable from the moment we enter. We probably go at least once a month and totally love them. The only complaint is that we love their peach cobbler but they only have it periodically throughout the year.

I tried their black plate special today, pastrami sandwich. OMG! It was one of the best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had! It was juicy and beyond fork tender. This dish is limited until July 3rd, I will definitely be back before then!!! Thank y'all for all your support for our military and 1st responders! God Bless!!!

Always the best and fresh food. I learned that they have no microwave on the premises and the food is constantly being made fresh...all day long! Love the salmon and tge jalapeño sausage. And the cornbread has to be experienced!!! Yummmmmmmmy The dedication to great food and service, while proudly touting our braches of the military, law enforcement, and fire departments, has to be acknowledged. Keep up the great job, folks.

Love this place. My mom's first time coming and she was surprised on how this restaurant honored all veterans and law enforcement. Food was great, excellent staff. Will be eating here alot more in the future

I wish I could rate as a 4.5, because I'm taking into account my friends meal as well - I had the smoked turkey sandwich, which I thoroughly enjoyed, with thick cut smokey turkey, I was a happy camper. My friend on the other hand had the pulled pork sandwich which she was not a fan of, I tried some too but it didn't do it for me. I would love to go back one day and try some other things off the menu, in which case I may change my rating, but still a great place you should check out. Even the smells walking in are amazing!

I have always felt welcomed from the moment of entering till leaving. As both a Veteran and retired LEO, their heartfelt respect is humbling. As to the food, IT IS WONDERFUL! Generous portions and cooked to perfection. Also the facility is CLEAN! It is always ready for a "white glove" inspection, including the restrooms! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I love the whole theme of mission, and I love that they give back to veterans. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. My only complaint was that they were sold out of banana pudding when I went. Must just be that good.

Mission BBQ was our caterer for our wedding back on March 30th, and their service was ASTOUNDING. The two employees who worked it (I am so sorry but I am so forgetful with names, so I dont remember them at the moment!) Were so helpful, kind, and took such good care of us. They made sure that my husband and I ate and drank to our hearts content, which we super appreciated since we were told a lot of the times the happy couple don't get to eat with how busy they are. We bonded over our love of DnD with the employees, and the food was just magnificent! I highly recommend hiring them as your caterer for any events! 10/10, 5 gold stars!

I love the way they service the men and women who served us in the armed forces. Dani was extremely kind, and Neesha was very informative as to how the food was prepared.

First time here. Was an amazing experience. Mike explained the menu and how they prepare and smoke their meats. Got the 3 meats platter with fries and greens. So fresh and flavorful. The sauces were equally tasty. Brisket and peach cobbler are must have!!! Very friendly and clean. Thanks Mike for amazing food and service!!

I am totally disappointed in my meal tonight. I asked for lean brisket and received brisket that was not lean. I couldn't eat it. My potatoe salad was very spicy. We have eaten here often and after this experience, won't be back.

The food was delicious! We are from Texas and are picky about our BBQ! The manager, Todd was very friendly and hospitable. We loved the “mission statement”. Veterans will feel very appreciated here. We will definitley be back soon!

This was an excellent word-of-mouth recommendation & exceeded my expectations. Very clean restaurant with fast, friendly service. They honor veterans, police, fire/first responders which I appreciate. They gave us a warm welcome and the food was fantastic. I asked the cashier about 2 menu items - the smoked turkey & pulled chicken - he had the kitchen prepare a quick, fresh sample of both items, even serving with a side of a bbq sauce he recommended to compliment the items. Both were delicious. Fries were hot & crispy, meals were fresh and meats were tender with a gentle smoky flavor. Very nice! At each table were 6 various BBQ sauces - all tasty, but more memorable was the incredible horseradish sauce served with the delicious sliced turkey - and I used to despise horseradish. At Mission BBQ, I love it! Can't wait to enjoy again.

Just had another delicious meal here. Portions were generous and price was very reasonable. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The food is great and served within minutes. The atmosphere is awesome with all the photos of people who have served our country to keep us safe. It reminds me to be thankful to those that have served and allowed me to be safe and have my freedoms. I like that because sometimes I can get caught up in little things and forget these important moments. And the music is always pleasant and up lifting. We always look forward to our next visit.

Mission BBQ catered our wedding and they were fantastic!! They gave us a tasting and once we made a decision and then kept changing it they just kept up with us the whole way! I even made a change the day of the wedding and they were able to accommodate! It was so wonderful working with them and the food was delicious!! We highly recommend using them for your wedding!

First time here. Wonderful place to eat. Specialize for veterans and first responders but take care of every single one with very tasteful food, perfect temperature, flavors, fast service, friendly staff, clean area including the kitchen that you can see how it is and how they cook for us. Definitely will return to this wonderful place with my family and friends to enjoy the service and food and excellent prices for the amount of food that you get.

This is my first experience at the Lady Lake store and I need more stars 🌟 to rate Debbie's service and all other employees. I am not a veteran but will keep coming to this wonderful restaurant for the great service and quality and taste of the food.

We love coming here for a casual lunch or dinner. Bar-b-que is delicious! The cheesy potatoes and salmon are amazing! They have different sauces you can try on the table and the prices are great! If your a veteran, active service or first responder you get a little special something :)

We decided to go with Mission BBQ for our wedding catering, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! Joshua, our main contact, ensured the process was smooth and easy. He invited us for a tasting session, which was a wonderful experience where we got to try everything. They even sent us home with a goodie bag filled with leftovers! On our wedding day, the buffet-style dinner and desserts were a hit with our guests. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Our favorite was the peach cobbler! Thank you Joshua and Mission BBQ team for being a part of our special day! :)

Great as always! The green beans have onions and bacon. The coleslaw has a touch of pineapple. The cornbread is not gf. Jalapeno sausage is very good.

The brisket sandwich was all fatty meat and the fries were cold. Disgusting! For $35 I expected better!!

One and done! Call before you go!! They were out of everything! Woman at the counter said they had a mad rush on everything and were out of "EVERYTHING" and wasn't cooking anything fresh.

We used this location to cater our wedding and we were blown away by the service. From start to finish their staff went above and beyond for us and our guests. Everyone was so pleased with the food, and we were incredibly impressed with their presentation and service. From the planning process, setting up a beautifully decorated buffet table, to the clean up, they did an incredible job and we are so grateful for all that they provided. We would highly recommend them for any event.

consistently great bbq. my favorite is the pulled pork carolina style. they have a rotating menu for their sides but i like that because it forces me to try different thing i normally would just opt for something i know i like, but ive never been let down, its all been amazing. rotating deasert menu too. whatever it is i suggest you get it, bc it will be delicious. Besides these guys support our veteran community, so they put good intention i to the food as well, ENJOY!
