First time dining here. Came as a response to great reviews. The green beans were very good. The fried okra was excellent. The baby back ribs were kind of average. However the star of the show was the sausage! Some of the best we’ve had anywhere! Service was very good and prices were fair. Next visit we will pass on the ribs and have the sausage and try some of the other meats. It was a Friday afternoon around 5pm and they were busy but we were seated and served quickly.

This is the 5th time I’ve ordered take out and they’ve given me cheddar cheese instead of American I’ve been specific every time and they still do it every single time it’s just frustrating.. why even ask what cheese we want if you’re gonna choose it for us?

The food and the atmosphere were great. We were so lucky to get Bryce as our server. He was awesome. He's so friendly, honest and professional.

The food was excellent. The ribs were perfect and the sides were delicious. The service was the best I can remember! Our waitress was right there if we needed to ask about anything and made sure our drinks were always full and we didn't need for anything. Definitely recommend!

My hubby and I stopped in to eat. The food was so good and excellent. I had the full rack combo, corn nuggets, and hubby pulled pork meal. Natalie is an excellent hostess! Very friendly and provided great atmosphere! Please ask for Natie, she is great

Oakwood restaurants have got to be the most consistent restaurants I've ever eaten in I can honestly say after hundreds of meals from their different locations I never have had one complaint and I am pretty picky keep up the good work Bailey and William you guys sure know how to put a good team together

Came for dinner for trying to feel better after diagnosed with cancer and it exceeded all of my expectations and my server was absolutely wonderful and picked up my spirits so much. Thank you all. I don't remember my server name but she had longer hair and was older. Thank you oakwood team for your thoughts and prayers to me.

The place has the feel of authentic southern BBQ the service was great I went on a rib special night and got an entire rack of ribs 2 sides of corn bread and a drink for 15.99. that's a hell of a deal anywhere especially with inflation. I will be coming back again

It used to be my favorite rib place. Last 2 times, ribs were dry, not as mouth watering. I found better ribs at Ruby Tuesdays.

Brice was our Waiter with the warmest, friendliest demeanour..made me want to spend $ more on food. I had the pulled pork which dosen’t need any sauce it’s so delicious. I would pass on the beans..My Hubby & I ordered 2-sweet potatoes & were told only 1 potato was left. I was given a very small sweet potato & 3-mins later tables all around us had big sweet potatoes (my favorite). I did not appreciate being lied to.

Oakwood offers a great combination of ribs, barbecue, and comfort food like corn fritters and mac-n-cheese. I had a really great rack of ribs. The food was served surprisingly quickly, and Lisa gave exceptional service. Prices are reasonable, and the restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend, and I am sure we will be back.

Stopped on just passing by and was very happy with the food and service. Great ribs, superb, hot fries and a great burger. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Will definitely return when in the area.

Incredible food! Long line to get a table, so we sat at the bar for immediate seating! Food was/is ALWAYS amazing!! I got my usual rib special. Portions are huge! Ate half, took the other half home. Employees are friendly and efficient! Prices are average. Highly recommend!!

Well this is the place for excellent comfort food. I can say more but they have something for every pallet. A full rack of ribs falls off the bone. Side incredible and gourmet salads for every once even vegan. LOVE JPGELOI...

The food was delicious and well priced. The staff was pleasant and accommodating.

I’ve been dining at Oakwood Smokehouse for a number of years and this was the first time I’ve ever been disappointed. Got the special of the day, a full rack of baby backs with two sides. Usually their ribs are fall off the bone tender and delicious. When I had so much trouble separating the ribs I realized whoever cooked these had left the silver skin on the back of the meat. This made it very difficult to eat and didn’t allow the seasoning to soak in, which made the ribs pretty tasteless. Okay, the ribs were a washout, onto the sides. All the vegetables were sooooo salty they were inedible. Even the slice of Texas Toast was salty and soggy. I asked why the food was so very salty and I was told the prep cooks did that. They knew about the lack of quality and still served this garbage. I don’t know why I asked for a take home container for my uneaten food, it just went into the garbage can when I got home!

Excellent special of Half Rack ribs, second choice of meat and 2 sides. Plenty of food to take home. Great location and service.

Skip eating all day before you go here. You are going to leave stuffed. The food is wonderful.

Great experience. We both had the Special: Half Rack ribs with a second meat, 2 sides, (I had sweet potato and corn fritters. My friend: baked beans and onion rings.) and garlic toast. Everything was delicious and there was plenty to take home. Service was efficient and friendly. Beautiful pictures of prized fishing.

Absolutely delicious. The corn fritters were OMGGGGGGGG good. The ribs were excellant, Lima beans were good and fries were hot & fresh The pulled pork sandwich was very good and a lot of pork. The coleslaw slaw was very good as were the fries. Did mention the corn fritters were excellant?? Loved it and our server was great

Lisa was our awesome waitress. The food was delicious, as usual but they have stopped serving Cooper Ridge wine. My favorite wine and it’s hard to find…. Please bring it back.

Nice service. Meats were a bit dry. Sauce was good. Waitress was friendly and efficient.

The staff is 2nd to none. They are friendly, courteous, and engaged. The food was very good. They had a great special of half rack and another meat with 2 sides. Our entire party ordered this. The o e knock this time was they had ran out of baked potatoes for the night. It was a great night out.

The ribs are great the service is so fast it's unbelievable and this is a great place to dine.

We didn't eat here for this visit, just a couple of glasses of wine at the counter, interesting to watch the staff and kitchen prepare meals. The guy searing the ribs did more chewing than some of the customers lol, guess if he likes it so will everyone else. Staff is friendly and everything was neat & clean. Will eat here on our next visit and review the food.

A group of neighbor men and I eat out every Monday evening. In October one of those nights we decided to return to Oakwood for their fabulous baby back ribs. Service was as good as it has in the past and the food was most enjoyable. Ending our dinner and wiping our hands and fingers, I had pulled my ring off not knowing it. It got wrapped in the napkin unaware to me. That night, I went to remove my jewelry for the evening, I noticed my ring was gone. Looked over for it with no success. The next day, I called Oakwood, and the wait staff member returned the ring to the manager after it fell out of napkin. Truly grateful and God Bless that person for their honesty. Chic Martin

The food was super yummy!! Portions are large, bring your appetite!! Try the corn fritters...they're awesome!! Service was fast and friendly and prices were reasonable, especially given the portions. However, it's chain bbq. Food was just ok. Not the southern BBQ we had in Pine Mountain, GA in May.

Oakwood is always a good place to eat. Portion sizes are large, and service is usually excellent. Today was on target with a few exceptions. I asked for hot water with lemon. My water was not clear and had floaters of some kind, almost metal like. I didn't say anything to the waitress, I just didn't drink it. When my order came, the fries were extra greasy and mushy. When I asked for fresh ones, I was answered by an eye roll and an okay as she turned away. The replacements were fresh and hot, as they should be. Normally, we are happy to make the trip to Oakwood, and I hope today was not the beginning of their new style.
