The food was SO good, especially the ceviche and as a Mexican who likes spicy food, I can never find a restaurant with salsa spicy enough for my liking, if you like spicy I suggest the habanero salsa. The staff was so friendly and explained the items on the menu in detail and were around for any questions even though they were running around. Victor was very attentive and gave excellent recommendations. Would definitely come back!

We have been going to Mojitos for a couple of years now and usually do take out. The food is so soo good! All the workers are always so friendly. Highly recommend!

Absolutely our favorite place to get roast pork. Tried their Cuban sandwich today and it took me back to south beach Miami… tasted just like from a local cafe with perfect flavors…. Loved it!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Seattle! I have been here several times and the food is always delicious, the service is friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming! Their ceviche and pabellón are my favorite dishes. I cannot recommend this place enough, the food is seriously to die for!

I’ve been eating for years I love the good food and the great service. The maduros are delicious. I always order maduros! Excellent food, every single time. We’ve only gotten takeout from here but every time we do it’s so delicious. They always seem to be busy and yet they crank the food out super fast. The Pescado en Guiso is to die for.

I suggest no one orders from this place from Uber Eats. I ordered Pollo a la parilla with rice, yuca frita and tostones. The meal that I received was not only wrong, but the saddest meal I’ve ever seen. I got Churrasco, a single yuca frita and a single toston. When I called to complain, they left me on hold for 10 minutes. And when I called back to see if they had just forgotten me, the call would not go through. It kept saying call failed. They blocked me. No decency to help me out, no kindness.

This place is where you come to be treated like family, eat authentic food that tastes home cooked, and have a strong classic mojito! We stayed at the AirBnB across the street for 5 days while my mom had her open heart surgery near by. Our family circulated through Mojito at least once a day. My nephew basically became apart of the staff, willingly because he loved them so much! Since I tried almost the entire menu, I most recommend the shredded beef empanadas, maduros, and camarones! I absolutely adore the way they treat their customers here and would recommend to anyone for an authentic laid back experience!

Can’t speak highly enough. Anna & Luam made the entire dining experience EXCEPTIONAL!DO NOT MISS A CHANCE TO EAT HERE!

I'm coming from Miami and a Cuban family so I have different expectations. I was disappointed in the congri (seemed to be black beans simply mixed with white rice rather than cooked in it that is seen from the lack of tint) and Vaca frita was under seasoned. Service and atmosphere were great however. And you can never go wrong with maduros.

I just love coming here! The food, the people, the environment. I love how flavorful everything is and the hot sauce.... omg! Absolutely loved it. So much so that they sent me home with a bottle of hot sauce on the house! And the owner, Luam, is such a genuinely good person. Makes the experience even better! Cannot wait to go back!

The arepa with shredded pork was good, the Vaca frita had very little shredded beef spread thin. Overall it was ok but not great.

Wonderful community restaurant. The atmosphere transports you to South America. The staff is friendly and humorous. We had the empanadas, the steak salad and the grilled shrimp. The portions are generous and has lots of flavorful dressings. Great place for a meal or wind down for the evening with a rum or beer.

My wife and I came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary. It was after work so we were looking for something casual and quick. Honestly better than any other restaurant. Every single staff member was so friendly. (shout out to Anna for getting us to get the million dollar mojito) My wife and I are originally from Florida so good authentic Cuban/latin american food in seattle is hard to come by. This little hole in the wall restaurant was a 10/10. Steak was cooked perfectly, it was juicy and tender. Literally everything was amazing. I can’t give them any more props. Again, food was great, staff was great. Thank you guys, you really made our night. An anniversary we will remember forever. :)

We are down in Seattle visiting for the Mariners vs Blue Jays game and on our way out we obviously need to eat. Not wanting to hit a chain we decided to come to El Mojito… the best decision of the weekend! The food, the owner, the genuinely authentic Cubin/Latin experience was just spectacular… and the Pina Colada was pretty awesome too! You gotta eat here! A happy and welcoming place with good service. Delicious main dishes (grilled veggies cooked to perfection) a good empanada, arepa and beans. However, the side sauces did not taste very fresh, the avocado mole was brown and the rice came out cold.

Everything was a great time. The food was delicious the vibes put me in a great mood our waitress Ana was super nice to us and big respect to the chef I loved the food. First time being there instantly made this my favorite spot. The music felt like home. Definitely coming back

This place is fantastic, service, food, aesthetic, it has everything. We ordered the shredded beef arepa, pasillo lunch entree with the million dollar mojito and tucan cocktails. Food was superb, nothing much else could be said. It's impressive how much flavor they fit into something as "simple" as beans, rice, and steak. The mojito was the best I've ever had, the tucan was a bit tart but still good. Finished off the experience with a slice of quesillo and a cortaido coffee to go 👌I'm sure every other menu option is great, looking forward to coming back and trying something else! One of the few times I've felt a 20percent tip was justified. Superb brunch spot, and parking isn't too bad on a Sunday. One of a kind venue, please do yourself a favor and come here!

I had such a great time at this place. I got the Parrilla Mojito (a steak dish) and it was perfectly cooked with very yummy sauce. Of course I paired it with a classic Mojito which was also made really well. We chatted with the owner a bit and he told us his family was helping out with the restaurant. They were so nice, and I’ve already told a few friends to come here. Highly recommend!

Fiancée and I met a friend here for dinner tonight. Both of us got mojitos – I got the Vaca Frita and she got the Lechon Asado, everything was fantastic. Some of the tastiest food I’ve had while living in Seattle. Service is great. The owner Luam took our order and was friendly, funny, and made us feel at home. I will have to visit Mojito more often.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to when rating the whole experience. The food was amazing! The owner was serving tables himself and extraordinary customer service. By the time we left, I felt like we’re old friends and knew each other for years. My only regret is that we were only visiting Seattle and don’t live in the area. Otherwise, I would eat here multiple times a week. This was by far, the BEST part of Seattle.

I found Mojito thanks to a recommendation on The Infatuation Seattle website for go to lunch places and I'm so glad I did. Had a business lunch and we had a great experience. The food was great and, IMHO, the prices correctly tied to the quality of the fare. The Mojito cocktail (went on a Friday) was delicious. The owner (also the chef) was fun, funny, engaging and pleasant. It didn't hurt that it was a beautiful day. And I can honestly say that I can't wait to go back and take my family. Highly recommended!

I’m a returning customer, born and raised in Cuba, currently living in Miami. I have to say that if you happen to be in the area, definitely come visit. The food is great, the staff & service is amazing and the owner, Luam is someone worth supporting. This guy takes care of you and his community.

Best and most fun time I’ve had at a restaurant in Seattle in a long time. Still thinking about that rice and beans a couple weeks later! Can’t forget about the rum either! This will be my new favorite date spot. Full of character in there!

We arrived right when it opened. Both the waiter and the owner came over and spoke to us - both were very personable. After studying the menu for way too long, the owner came over and put it bluntly - "we do beans and rice, don't overthink it!" With that bit of knowledge, we handed the decision-making process over to the owner. The Cuban coffee was amazing, the appy was amazing, and the main course was amazing. What they were, I can't remember, but I am pretty sure anything that arrives at your table will be delicious.

Gem in Seattle! Without a doubt one of the most consistent places to eat. Been coming here for years, and the food is excellent. Options for vegitarians are limited, but very good. Do not miss out having their black beans or a Mojito.

I got the Lechon Asado plate along with the Chicken Empanada here Before I even talk about the food, I have to mention the environment here. This restaurant is really small - only room for a few tables in the indoor seating area, with very few staff on hand. However, it has an incredible feeling - like you're stepping out of Seattle and directly into Colombia, or Venezuela, or Cuba, or other similar places The music playing from the speakers, the art and pictures on the wall, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is quite literally perfect. The owner (whom I recognized because there was a giant painting of him on the wall) even came in and took my plates when I finished. This is all a preface to say that this may be the most perfect Latin food I've had in my life (and I've been to Mexico and the DR) Starting off with the Chicken Empanada, I can't start without mentioning how crispy it was. The crunch on this thing was absolutely incredible - biting into the breading was so immensely satisfying. The inside was also great - a mix of chicken and cheese. This empanada was done Colombian-style, which meant it had cornmeal, which combined to be really good. I additionally loved the guacamole - so much so that after I finished I was just eating it with the few pieces of greens I was given Moving to the main dish, the Cuban black beans and rice (congri) were basically perfect - the beans were sweet and immensely comforting, and the rice was well-cooked, slightly wet with the sauce, and just overall fantastic. I ate this by mixing it with the pork. Speaking of the pork, it was absolutely the highlight of the meal. There was a TON of it on the plate, and it's hard to put into words how juicy, tender, and astoundingly flavorful it was. The roasting and marinating process worked to absolute perfection here - as it was so satisfying to eat. The flavor profile of mixing the pork, rice, and beans was just all-time good. It was difficult to eat the last piece of pork, because then I knew I'd be done with the meal Lastly, the two other things this came with were the fried yucca and tostones. These were both an interesting complement, and I really loved the sauce that was slightly sour and slightly mayo-like that came as a dip with this In terms of price, I would say this was a pretty good amount of food, although the total was slightly on the expensive side at around 28 dollars. Still absolutely worth it, in my opinion Overall, an all-time good plate of food that provides a diverse combination of tastes and a wonderfully compelling flavor combination. 10/10

All foods are delicious! Virgin mojito is a must to try! The staff there are funny and friendly! The desserts are really good that we have to finish them even though we had the huge main entree. Definitely will visit next time!

The food here is really good. The flavors blend well and it tastes fresh. It is not quite like any cuisine I'm familiar with. It is Caribbean but not like other Caribbean food I've been exposed to it also definitely has a Cuban influence but again not like other Cuban food I've had. There are only a couple of vegetarian options on the menu so I can't give the food a 5. The jojito i had was small but good. There is outdoor seating but it is very close to a busy road.

This place made us feel like home. We all came here on lunch and they got us in quickly and efficiently. We came during restaurant week and their lineup was so good. We had empanadas, sandwiches, and ended with the tres leche. The chicken was my favorite empanada, the veggie sandwich had great flavor. The orange hot sauce was so good with the perfect amount of kick. They made us feel like family in the 45 minutes we were here. I’ll definitely come back. Word on the street is they may move towards maple leaf soon but come here until they move then send all your friends to come here too!

Just wow. What a marvelous experience dining here. The server, staff, and owner went above & beyond to make sure we were more than happy, it was incredible. Cute and small with absolutely delicious food! The dining room had various instruments around that were being played raucously by some children. Service was fairly prompt. Staff was nice and friendly. The food was so good I ate pretty fast (not my usual). I will definitely return for more Vaca Frita again and again, while attempting to convince myself to try something different on their menu at some point.

A wonderful locally owned restaurant! The food is incredible, and after getting to talk to the owner, it was clear they take a lot of pride in its quality. The staff is also incredibly kind, and regularly cook meals to donate to local charities. I absolutely recommend the Quesillo for dessert.

I searched for a good restaurant to have dinner with my family, and I found mojitos, their food is excellent, the taste, the texture, the portions were great for each dish. Mojito had the warmth of a summer campfire, was as vibrant as the Las Vegas skyline, and welcoming like your dog when you’ve been gone all day. After having a bite of my peballón I made eye contact with my girlfriend (who had the vegan pinchos below) and told her this is the best bite of food I’ve had since moving to Seattle. Then we reflected on the other top bites we’ve had in Seattle to confirm that this was the greatest. If you’re reading this review, stopping reading and go to Mojito, thank you. Shout out Ana and the rest of the incredible staff.

Warm, welcoming, lovely people. With wonderful drinks and delicious food. We had stopped in around 7:30. Clean table and had two yummy Pina Coladas in just a moment. I had shrimp she had steak both great and in the current environment on value and prices. Very reasonable. 10 out of 20 will do it again.

This place is the best. Cuban food is something that’s woefully hard to experience in this town — except at this place. We’re vegan so the Mojito Platter with tostones (fried, smashed young plantains), maduros (fried ripe plantains), and yucca frita is a staple for us. The garlic mojito sauce and the hot sauce (watch yourself!) are perfect. But the Berenjena en Coco (asstd. vegetables braised in coconut milk sauce) is INSANE. You need this. The congrí (rice and black beans with a coconutty thing going on) is perfect. Also try the pinchos vegetarianos. Think veggie shish-kebabs from Cuba with more of that rice and beans action. Cannot miss. The rest of the menu looks beautiful too but I can’t attest to its deliciousness. Make sure you order at least two mojitos. They’re the best you’ve ever had and you’ll feel just right after about 1.5 of them. The owner is the coolest guy who always has a smile and a joke for you and might sometimes surprise you with generosity. I live here in the summer time and go here to pretend it’s summer when it isn’t. Oh, and it’s super colorful. Literally.
