The shop is the real deal! The flavors were great and the portions were large. It's a small location, but it had enough tables to fit 12 people or so. I would love to try another sandwich and maybe a cannoli next time. The parking lot is awkward and messy - good luck getting in quickly or safely from any direction.

Firehouse get back Subway forget it so much meat in the subs you could make two best sub I ever had my husband loves them will definitely go back my daughter took us there because she loved it and my son-in-law did too we have to eat a lot subs but this is the best sub will definitely want to go back over

We were traveling and tired of road food so we found a local place. Hands down the best subs we have ever had.To bad we don't have this in our state. Because we will definitely crave them. Fantastic Cannoli too!

I had to give a 1 star because when I chewed the meatball sub I had really hard pieces in it that I had to spit out a couple times I’m assuming the meats not properly grinded? Which is concerning especially for people with young children. The meatball sub was below average as well. Also the cheesecake was repulsive taste like old cheese and nothing more. Very expensive for nasty food paid over 50.00 all together 1st and last time here.

Got the cheesesteaks earlier today was disappointed. The meat wasn’t seasoned and had a ton of fat in it, the bell peppers didn’t even taste like bell peppers it tasted like sweet salad cubes, just didn’t taste right. Only good thing i can say about the sandwich was the onions and bread was cooked nice. Customer service was good though, and i don’t know how the other subs are just wouldn’t suggest cheesesteak if you want a good one.

A great deli, it's all I can do to eat the half sandwich! I've tried a few sandwiches now and all have been so good, it is a favorite lunch spot for me.

Ordered a sub for delivery from here which is why I didn’t rate the restaurant atmosphere. The food and service though were excellent. I’m usually leery to put written special requests on delivery orders because more often than not, the instructions are ignored. Not here! The sub came exactly as ordered and it is one of the BEST subs I’ve had in a long time. The bread was fresh and soft, the ingredients were fresh and delicious and the portions are huge. I have 2 days of lunches. Great job guys! Hope you have plans to expand into Greenville county and/or south Spartanburg county.

The Kraken sangwich (yes, I said sangwich, as it should be said for this level of east coast chef’s-kiss delight), might very well be the best deli sub that has ever crossed my lips.

Closest thing to an authentic New York deli around here by a long shot. I’ve tried the Kracken, Terminator, The Don, Capresse, Rueben, and Cuban. Hands down best sub around!! The owner came out and talked with me about our love of authentic pizza and Italian food. They are all from NY and NJ so they know how to do it right!! Had their red velvet cake and it was the best I’ve ever had. 100% recommend you give them a try!!

My only regret is that it took me 36 years of life to find this place. Holy cow what a delicious sandwich. Service was ultra friendly and way faster than I expected. This will be my go to lunch spot in Spartanburg no matter how tricky the parking may be.

My husband saw reviews for this sub shop online and was convinced we needed to drive the 27 mins to give it a shot. Walking into the shop we were immediately excited about the decor and the personal collection of the shop owners! They had all sorts of collectible decor and random baubles. Their menu was full of delicious sounding options but I opted for a favorite which was the Kraken. Roast beef, turkey, jalapeño bacon, chipotle mayo, and cheddar cheese LOADED into a hoagie bun. Holy cow, it was delicious and had the perfect amount of kick! My husband got a meatball sub that was also packed with TWO rows of meatballs, marinara, cheese, and he enjoyed every bite! The owner surprised us with some mini cannolis and some famous Amos cookies for our little one. He was very generous and kind! He made us feel very welcome, as well as the other shop employees. It was a great experience and we will gladly eat there again! Don’t hesitate, just walk in and start ordering! You won’t be disappointed!

Mom and Pop's Diner serves 2 2lbs of meat with your, tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. Crackling spicy is what you should get! If you want a sandwich come this is your place! if you are watching your weight this Ain't your place! But if you want to be full and see where/what, you spent your money on visit here!

This is a restaurant that has NO public restroom! I was so rudely told that on 10/16 at lunch time when I went to wash my hands. There was an older gentleman in the back not wearing gloves making a salad. I ate a veggie sub with extra veggies - only lettuce tomato onion? About 4 hours later I came down with food poisoning which I’m still dealing with. They will never make another dime off of me. I’ve heard they told others the reason for no restrooms is it’s a to go place - then why were there 4 tables full of people eating a sandwich? Make it make sense!

I LOVE their subs. The quality and amount of food for the price is amazing. Every time I've visited, I've been welcomed with great staff. Definitely a treat whenever I want a filling meal.

I read the reviews and gave this place a try. My Philly was absolutely tasteless. I tried to continue eating it but I couldn't. The Italian was a little better but still missed the mark on taste and flavor. Definitely not for me.

If you want a sub with some meat this is the place to go.

Couple of things to know up front. The breads picked up from Charlotte and driven about 85 mi to both locations in the upstate. Next thing to know when they run out of bread they're done for the day, so get there early if you can. Better than Subway, better than Jersey Mike's. Still better than Firehouse too. You know those old hole in the walls that you hear your parents and grandparents talking about. This was a place at the look like the roof was ready to fall in but the food was always amazing. This is one of those places, except the roof is not falling in.

HUGE delicious subs, great value, fast and kind customer service! A whole sub for $14 bucks?! I'm a big girl and I couldn't even eat the whole thing 🤣 love how they package it as two hands instead of the whole sub. It's like they know you can't eat it all!

Thoroughly impressed with the staff and owners. We came in and they were absolutely SLAMMED, took our order without writing it down, got everything correct, and it was quick given how busy they were. There's no excuse to go to any sub shop if there's a Monster Subs nearby.

Yall, these subs are stacked with tons of fresh ingredients and they take both hands to handle. I have inappropriate dreams about The Kraken constantly and I continue to eat an entire monster sized sub in one sitting because I just can't stop myself. ITS SO GOOD.

Had my first sub here, and it was great! Best in Spartanburg.

Arrived at 5:45 doors were locked. Odd since they close at 6. I was totally looking forward to trying this place with all the great reviews. Drove across town for nothing sad days. Their hours of operation it seems are a maybe we will maybe we won't be open.

Our 1st visit... and we loved it! I had the teriyaki chicken, and my wife and son had ham and cheese. The atmosphere seems great, and service was quick. The sandwiches are huge too! I'm full!

The subs are extremely good. If you work out and need a lot of protein, you won't miss your goal of you eat here. I got the chipotle chicken and its real grilled chicken, not that foamy stuff. When you buy a whole sub, they package it into 2 halves, so its easy to take one half home.

Freshly baked bread with made to order sandwiches. Reminds me of the deli markets from up north( Marylander here). Plenty of meat with the right amount of condiments. This place will give you a "Hero" / "Hoagie" fix with great customer service!!!

I travel to Spatanburg about 2 times per month and I go to Monster Subs every time. Friendly staff, great subs with a great variety. Cool little Star Wars informational posters. Love the pickle option.

Delicious!!!! There were several things on the menu I wanted to try if I had 7 stomachs. I went with the Kraken. Very very good! I like to eat, however I opted for the half sub. I probably could've finished a whole but may have felt it. Not like other sub shops where you could finish a whole and a side. Will definitely stop in if I ever make it back to Spartanburg!

I'm a touring musician, who's favorite food on this Earth is Italian Subs. I've eaten more of them than Italy has over my 4 decade career, from sea to shining sea. Today, I tried Monster Subs. I have now journeyed to the pinnacle of Mount Munch. Absolutely a standing ovation. Holy Sheisse.

This place gets the 3 F's. Fast, Friendly and Fresh. Called in a to-go order when I got there it was ready. The staff working were all nice. The sub sandwiches were some of the best we have had in the upstate. We can't wait to go back and try the other sandwiches they have.

Got the kraken sub really good red pepper gives it a little kick but the sub is so good you only taste the heat for a bite or two and full flavor of the sub again probably the best sub i have had in awhile

How many times do you walk in to a place expecting the food served to look like what you saw in the advertisement? You get it…… These guys have it figured out, lots of meat and it tastes fantastic. Small location in a strip mall, but don’t let aesthetics fool you, the place is small but tidy, good customer service and fair prices.

Just moved to the area and was lucky enough to found this place on day one. We have tried all of the speciality and signature sandwiches. Everything has been incredible and the staff has been very friendly as well as helpful when trying to decide what to try. Will definitely be back many more times!

Stopped in today for the first time and they have Amazing food and extremely friendly customer service.. prices are very reasonable with large portions.. I order the Reuben,Cuban and Tuna.. everybody said their food was amazing.. I will definitely be returning and I would highly recommend stopping in and trying one of the many sandwiches they make!!

My husband and I tried Monster Subs a few months ago and have since gone back because we were craving their subs. They pile on a significant amount of meat and toppings. Although the subs are a bit pricey, it's worth it for the taste and amount of food that you receive.

Best sub sandwiches in the upstate if not the state! Not skimpy with the toppings and everything is fresh. You can eat all day off of a large sandwich!
