great food, but haven't seen the truck in a while & the website is down. assuming they closed?

Delicious Venezuelan food! Had the avocado chicken bowl. Nice portions and good flavor. Only wish pricing was on his menu. This is a food truck that stays at this location.

I’m from Venezuela. I really like the arepas in this place. I tried the shredded meat and the Reina Pepiada.

The business should update its hours to accurately reflect real working hours.

Mandatory stop for me every time I am in town. Mike is a cool dude who makes great food. Usually get a bowl and an arepa.

I don’t understand. I tried to go on a Tuesday at 1:30pm and it was closed, hours say it closes at 3pm. Be careful with that.

Holy smokes the food here is insanely good. The Chicken arepa is a savory, tender and moist flavor bomb wrapped in a nicely crisped arepa. The cilantro garlic sauce is creamy, delicious and compliments the arepa well. It’s a shame that I’m just visiting the area because I’d probably stop by multiple times per week if I lived here. Forgot to take photos of the arepa because I ate it that fast oops

The BEST arepa food truck! We’re always so excited when we round the corner and see Moon Frog is open!! Food is delicious! The owner is wonderful and has a great smile! And the location is terrific. Close to a bunch of fun stuff nearby! I’ll definitely be back!

Pretty good food nice guy and I

I didn't catch his name but the tall white gentleman was amazing. I got the pabellon arepa with green sauce (great choice). He crisped up the arepas perfectly and really loaded up the ingredients. It was sweet with the plantains. The arepas were toasted crisp but still soft and moist. Cheese and black beans added creaminess. Pulled pork had a mild spiciness. Altogether it was a spiritual experience.

I have tried many stuffed Arepas from different locations and never have I enjoyed one this good. First off the size and AMOUNT you get for the price is amazing. They are filling and DELICIOUS. From the Bowls to the Arepas you can't go wrong. I highly recommend The Pabellon Arepa you will not be disappointed. TRUST ME.

This has been my go to lunch spot for 3 years now, i'd get the bowls at least 2 times a week. When they closed I was upset but excited to see there was a new owner and it wasn't gone completely. Went and got my regular chicken bowl and I was SO DISSAPOINTED. Does not taste remotely the same. Green sauce is watery, chicken & rice is bland, and the arepa bread is soggy, rubbery and has no crunch. No es el mismo que era. It's nothing like it was. It's edible and not the worst but I don't think I'll be going back as often as I used to unless things get better. Might try again in a few months and give an update.

This has been one of my go to places in downtown for lunch. Actually it was my favorite place for lunch. New ownership began this week and I was hoping it would be the same recipes. I had the chicken avacado salad arepa and I had to throw it away. It had so much Mayo, chunks of avocado, and no flavor. It couldn’t eat it.

Great place to sit and eat. The Arepas was not the best I have eaten. More flavor on the beef is needed.

Thought it was bizarre that they closed soo early every day. Turns out they are just closed completely. Stayed right across the street for 2 weeks and they were closed every day.

I can officially say that I am addicted to the freshness and delicious flavor of these arepas! This food truck is conveniently located on a parking lot which makes it very easy to stop in the middle of Downtown. My favorite is chicken avocado which is so delicately savory. I noticed they added a sweet arepa and plan to try it out soon. This lunch spot is a no brainer - arepas hit the spot like magic! Love to STOP - on National Do Not Call list by for a snack too… it is a husband and wife business and she is from Venezuela - the food is as authentic as it gets!

Amazing arepas. We went twice during our stay! Chicken/ avocado arepa was delicious, as was the beef one. Ordered fried plantain too. Very well priced, quick and delicious.

Wow. Absolutely fantastic rice and beans, plantains, and arepas. Huge bang for your buck. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

WOW! I had a Pabellon on Tuesday and have been thinking about it ever since (it’s Friday now). Just walked my happy butt back over there for a second one. Honestly, just go get one. There’s nothing I can say in this review that will do it Justice. Get the garlic sauce!

So good! Everything was delicious. Highly Recommend the chicken salad arepa. Paid parking very close and a few tables and chairs to sit and eat. We ordered online and it was easy to place the order and pick up.

I really felt compelled to write a review here…I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this truck…the food is incredible…the staff is friendly…the price is fair when u match it with the level of product you’re getting…just outstanding…every time I come to Tampa this is where I eat now haha

The food is amazing (coming from a Venezuelan). It truly tastes like home which is rare to find, specially downtown. I ordered the pabellón Arepa, everything tasted great including the sauce. Great staff, fast service and reasonable prices all well 🙌🏻

By far the best food truck in Downtown Tampa! I always get the arepas and the rice and beans they are delicious. The food is very flavorful, they have delicious sauces to go along with your meal, and the staff is the best! They have amazing service, always a good attitude, and very patient. Highly recommend!

Moon Frog is great food made by great people. The young couple that owns the truck deliver authentic arepas with delicious flavor combinations. The pabellon and patacon are my go to meals there, and since adding the garlic sauce it has only gotten better. If you're in the area and you haven't tried them, you're missing out.
