Loved the atmosphere! Stopped by here while visiting Temple for the day and had such a great time! Great wine, the nicest owners, and lots of sweet animals running around!

It is the best Harvest Host experience I’ve had in the 3 years I’ve been a member. Their wines are exquisite as are the jams. The goatyard is clean and the goats are oh so sweet. The 4 dogs are very well behaved and very loveable. I would come back in a flash! The hosts are such lovely people and their son is very enterprising with the micro plant business he’s starting up. Their daughter is an excellent driver. The buildings and grounds are pristine. Just a piece of Heaven for 24 hours. Love this place!!’ PS The goat ate my receipt. LoL!

My daughter truly enjoyed her visit to the Moose and Goose Winery. She brought me several different flavors to try. Some people might not like fruitful wine, but I only like fruitful wine. The variety of flavor choices are great, not to dry, and the slight aeration enhances the flavors. Most importantly we love to support local businesses, especially when they have a great product.

Can't speak of the wine, because i didn't get to try any. Showed up to the winery 1130a. According to website they are supposed to be open. Gate was open with the open signs up. Drove the long driveway to the property and was greeted by goats of all colors and sizes and a friendly yellow lab puppy, but not a single human in sight. Wandered around the property for about 30 minute, tried opening a few doors, including the building marked as "Moose and Goose Winery", all locked. Played with the goats and puppy, the birds started screaming loud enough to wake the dead. Still no human anywhere. Really wanted to try some local fruit wine, guess they don't really want any more business?!? Disappointed to say the least. Don't waste time and gas driving out there.

Such a cool and fun experience! We were lucky enough to stay at a campsite on their property we loved being a walk away from great company and great wine. They had beautiful animals we were able to see and pet and enjoyed a nice getaway. Beautiful people and delicious wine. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stumbled upon this winery today and so glad we did! Beautiful day, sat outside and each had a flight. Ended up buying 3 different bottles. These will be great summer wines for us. Highly recommend!

Delicious fruit wine and awesome, super chill atmosphere.

Melissa was so nice and helped us choose exactly what kind of wine my wife and I would like. We loved it. And our kids had a blast playing with all the animals around. The goats are so cute!

Owners were very friendly and helpful. The wine was delicious, and we really enjoyed the outside seating and peaceful atmosphere. We purchased a bottle of 2 out of the 4 we sampled. We will be back.

Follow them on Facebook and/or Instagram! Google doesn’t always have the hours correct! They are currently open one or two weekends a month!! Super amazing fruit wines, tons of flavor and a variety to pick from. Dogs, Cats and goats to pet and play with! Very kid friendly & a HUGE outdoor space for seating! Live music and food trucks are always there! 12/10 recommend!!

A fun outing & the owners are great. The wines are a surprise, really good, after I finished my flights I resampled & bought 2 bottles. I almost forgot, I got to keep my glass. If you like wine give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

My 1st time there and it was good. I think 3 1/2 stars is where it is at for now. The wine is good but the place is way out there to get to. Also, the wine tasting area is small but for $10, you can take outside a 4 little glasses sampler. If it was more kid friendly, good seating, and better shade, then 4 stars. I would recommend going out for yourself to try. Again, the wine is good and have decent but delicious variety.

Amazing people and great location! Every wine I've had from them has been great. Love that they are Veteran and Woman owned. Def a must visit!

great atmosphere and great eine

We really enjoyed our visit today. Great people fun place. These folks know their stuff. We've gone to a number of fruit wine tastings and honestly, you never really know what you are going to get. We tasted about 1/2 of their offerings and didn't find a bad wine among them. This is a must-do when you visit Temple and enjoy wine-tasting.

The wine was delicious! Unlike anything I’ve had before, fruity and very smooth. The owners were so nice and helpful. The property is beautiful, lots of space to sit outside. Plus the sweetest animals to pet! Thoroughly enjoyed both the wine and ambiance, we will be back!

I have been going to this winery for several months now. I absolutely love the experience that they provide and I feel welcomed by not only Melissa and John, but the other guests that are there as well.

A truly unique taste - it's wine made from fruit (as opposed to fruit juice with alcohol in it, because who wants that?) One tip: Head down FM 2086 and turn south on Apple Cider road to get to Middle Road. Coming from Temple, you might end up traipsing down several miles of dirt roads. On a nice day that's fine, but if the creeks are rising you might have problems. Look for the big solar panels and you'll know you found it.
