Natalie made it worth the trip by itself. We had a blast from Rhode Island

We dinned at Nacho Mama’s and enjoyed both dishes! I had the Nacho rice bowl with shredded chicken and it was delicious! Dish was big and can be easily shared (could not finish). The other dish was the 3 tacos 🌮, rice , Beans, and yummy! Run don't walk to this amazing Mexican restaurant with great food , prices and service! Going back to get dessert and will advise then, see you there!

Great food but had to wait. Not sure why wait was so long; even just to get our drink selection. If you're not in a hurry, then it's the place for you.

Food is not bad. But The fried ice cream IS NOT fried ice cream. It's not bad, but it's not fried ice cream. It's ice cream in a fried bowl and toppings.

Went here to eat and the service was horrible! I asked the server to cancel our order because how slow it was. When I asked for that, the food came right out. I noticed that people came in after me and my wife and they received their food right away. It was not crowded, so that's not an excuse for poor service. The food was good, but I will not return back. I would give the service a -0.

Blackened Maji fish tacos were delicious. Place needs updating. Flooring is coming up. I used two different hot sauces and both bottles, around the top, look like they hadn't been wiped off. When I grabbed the hot sauce there was goo on it.

Great fast service for dinner. Even though busy outside, inside was better, more relaxed. Our server, Juan, was great, fast, and friendly. Prices were ok for the area. Steak tacos were great. Good atmosphere. We recommend it.

Margs & food were great, waitress was excellent but finding out in the bill there would be a 3% charge to credit card users left a sour taste - won’t be going back for the dessert our waitress recommended. Beware credit card users in this tourist restaurant.

The atmosphere was kicked back with good music in the background . A great place to unwind. Two of us shared the mamas chicken tacos. The flavor was out of this world. Had their homemade chips and salsa to top it off. Great dinner just a short walk from the beach.

Average Mexican food that takes awhile. Coronaritas are good. Service is slow, and they get away with it as 20% gratuity is already included.

Had a decent meal Asked for chimachanga with extra cheese on top melted got little extra but charged for me not melted. But why is it when they give you a meal and you say leave out the peppers rhey don't give you anything back. But that's all now. I will still go back.

Went here for lunch. Not very busy but they only had one server taking care of folks inside and on the patio. She did the best she could. But we waited more than 30 min for our lunch. We think they only had one cook too. We understand that times are tough in the restaurant industry and that we were there after the height of the season, but wow, the wait was a killer. The food on the other hand was absolutely delicious. We split the blackened shrimp crispy taco shell lunch. Best we’ve ever had. Bottom line, the wait was worth it.

Had very good ground beef enchiladas. Other people in my party didn't receive some sides they ordered, but this was quickly fixed. The waiter was friendly.

Danielle is a great server! We had a 18 people for dinner and she met all of our needs! Thanks Danielle!! We had chicken, steak, and shrimp tacos, coconut shrimp, wings, nachos and more. All was so good. The wings honestly were the best!

This is a great casual options in the plaza. I ate here 2 nights in a row because it was easy for me to get a seat at the bar. The bartender Scott was friendly quick and accommodating. Weird for me to say but this Mexican place has some of the best buffalo wings I've had in a long time. They were big, juicy and cooked well and the sauce was the perfect amount of spice with that classic flavor. I also would recommend the chili rellano, allot of places when it comes out it's just a soggy mess but not here, it was served crispy on the outside with a nice flavorful filling.

Wow, this place has gone downhill. Been coming down to Marco for decades, and I don't know if restaurants are just trying to recoup losses from COVID, but we did not have a good experience. Chips were stale, chili con queso was bordering on cold and tasted like Hormel, and the salsa was meh. All those mediocre apps to start? $24. They were busy, but our server was inattentive even after taking this into account, and when he did come to the table, he didn't clear anything- we had to ask. Empty plates and glasses sat for a long time. Entrees were OK, which redeemed things a bit. Then we got the bill. So for 5 people, 2 rounds of drinks (some of which were soft drinks), some very bland/stale apps, and 5 various taco entrees with rice and beans? $288? Really? Turns out, they added an automatic 20% gratuity. For a party of 8, I could understand. But 5? We checked a menu on the way out, and there's fine print at the bottom of the menu that states, "We reserve the right to add 20% gratuity" and "A 3% convenience will be charged if you pay with a credit card." Um? Automatically added 20% tip? For a party of 5? For inattentive service? And a service charge for paying with a credit card? One of our party asked the owner about the gratuity, who in turn passed the buck to our server- "Well, your server should've told you about that." Riiiiiight. These are horrible fleeces for a very mediocre restaurant. We will not be returning, and we recommend you spend your hard-earned money elsewhere on Marco. Go to Snook Inn instead.

Have been dining here for over 15 years, had food tasted old, server did not know menu nor did he understand when we asked for things, stood around and fist-pumped with all the other male servers and we could not get his attention. I called the restaurant a week later, just to let the owner know this experience was not up to the usual Nacho Mama standards, the owner got defensive, would not let me finish my sentences and rather than listen, she just went on defense. The nachos grande were excellent. Highly recommend the combo of beef and chicken. The guacamole was also better than most Mexican restaurants.

Not the greatest experience but not horrible either. It took a long time to be greeted & order drinks. The server was kind of flustered & stated she had been double seated, so that was the reason it took so long. It took a long time for our food to come out & when it did some items or missing, I ordered rice & beans with my Birria tacos, but didn’t get them until I was almost done. The Birria tacos were the best part of the meal. My husband got the fajita burrito, the chicken was dry & not seasoned. I tasted it & definitely agree. We shared the 3 taco special & again the meat wasn’t seasoned well, so I don’t recommend the tacos. My daughter got the fajita chicken taco & didn’t like it (it was dry unseasoned chicken as well) so we ordered her a Mac & cheese with fries. My son ordered the Mac & cheese and his didn’t have much sauce, so we mixed his & my daughter’s together to coat the noodles better. Overall the only thing I can recommend on the Birria tacos & the rice & beans. Also you do not get free chips & salsa, which I found odd, I’m from Texas so we dine at Mexican restaurants often & I’ve never been to one without chips & salsa. Maybe that’s not the norm in Florida though. We spend about $20 as our bill was $84. Very pricey for the quality and quantity of food in my opinion.

Look, the chiles rellenos were fab and so was the key lime martini. But I asked for one tamale as a side and they wouldn't.

To assume your food and service deserves an automatic 20% tip plus 3% fee for using a credit card is outrageous. I will NOT be returning. Lots of other great dining options on the island that do not do this. DaVinci right next store does NOT do this, nor does Finn Bistro, KJ Sushi, etc.

Chicken soup had very little chicken in it. It was near closing, so I can understand. When I pointed it out to my server, it was taken care of right away. The shrimp quesadillas was very good and nachos grande were loaded.

One of the servers had AWFUL body odor. We ordered drinks and planned to eat, but the smell was atrocious, so we just paid for drinks and left. Gross.

As matter fact, the entire plaza is ran by the same owner or management company. Scammers all around. Pay cash if you can. Waitress tipped herself a fat tip forging the receipt. Thievery at its finest. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Waited over an hour for a table in an empty resteraunt. Then got served the worst nachos I’ve ever had, the bottom of the plate was literally a soup of grease and cheese, featuring wet sopping chips. I then ordered the steak and chicken fajitas which were decent but overpriced. Definitely the best food our group ordered. The bill then had a 20% automatic gratuity which would have been fine if we were served well at all. Ended up paying around 150$ for 3 people to get an app and a meal and a single drink. Definitely better spent anywhere else on Marco. Drinks were the best part of this experience.

Giving Nacho Mama’s 1 star because there is not the option to give 0. This restaurant has the worst costumer service within Marco Island food places. We were put on the waiting list and were told our waiting time was gonna be 30 mins. The two workers at the entrance seem confused and do not have a clue how to treat costumers and do their job. They told us we could seat on the table and wait the 30 mins before we could order. We decided to walk around while we waited. When we returned to the restaurant passed the 30 mins, we were treated poorly by a rude worker who told us we could not seat and that now we had to wait even longer. He started to rise his voice on us and proceeded to kick us from the table. I literally had to come him down. He seemed very irritated by our presence. Our experience was a very negative one. Mistreatment is a deal breaker for me and unfortunately Nacho Mama’s might know how to cook food (not sure) but definitely doesn’t know how to treat people!

Nacho Mama’s deserves 0 stars. The tall white guy (that seems to be the supervisor) treated me and my family like trash, after a 30 min wait. It’s clear that this restaurant only cares about the money but has absolutely no interest in treating costumers properly.TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I got the 3# Taco. I could tell it wasn't close to that. Picked it up and it felt like it was maybe a pound and a half. I've had 3 lb tacos elsewhere and I couldn't even come close to finishing them. This one I ate the whole thing and was still hungry. It didn't have bad flavor but it didn't have a bunch of flavor either. Had to keep asking for a refill. The waitress was nice but not very attentive. Chips and salsa were free with ever but cost for extra after that, also the menu had two different prices for that anf stated free with an entree. We ordered four entrees yet got charged extra for one extra order of chips and salsa. Should have gotten 4 orders with the entrees!

Worst margaritas we ever had. There were 4 of us and each said the same thing. Terrible margarita. Now they brag about their tacos. No way! Taco Bell’s are better. Several of us got the fajitas. I would suggest ordering those as they weren’t too bad. Chips and salsa was great and the service was very good. If you want a basic Mexican dinner as options in Marco are limited give them a try as it could have just been an off night.

The host was horrible. He was training a younger guy and not very well. We were seated and then sat at our table for 15 minutes without anyone even coming over to bring water or let us know a server would be over shortly. We ended up leaving.

Three teenagers, maybe college age tops, either way these three young staff members couldn't figure out the complexities that is the sacred and revered seating chart and in the nave of security they had us wait outside. The bartender was the worst. She didn't seem to want to be there. It took 20min just to get chips and dip. The chicken wings were terrible. There were six, my wife ate two and I ate one. Not good. Since it was happy hour we ordered two house margaritas. She poured them out of a jug. Not good. We paid and left, never to return.
