Very friendly, excellent food and service.

The place was immaculate. Each place setting lovingly straightened. Service with a smile and quick attentiveness. But the food! Dude the place might have a view of US-1, but the food is hella banging. Naan crispy and beautifully seasoned. All sauces on point! 10 out of 10 dragging the boyfriend for date night.

I went today for lunch and forgot to 6ake pictures. There were 4 of us we ordered 2 orders of samosas, the special cauliflower app, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, chicken Tikka Masala and paneer Tikka masala and of course garlic and plain Naan. Everything we had was scrumptious. We were greeted nicely and welcoming by all 3 in the restaurant. Everything was clean, bright and nicely decorated. The food omg ai have eaten Indian food in multiple places and countries and this was the best tandoori chicken I have had. The whole table agreed it was so good. The samosas were very flavorful with a nice tamarind sauce. The cauliflower app was similar to sweet and sour and was a delight to all of us. Our Tikka Masalas and butter chicken were also delicious with rice and the Naan. It was very great price as well only $30 per person.

They have the best Indian food - no question. I've been to many Indian restaurants around the country and have had my share of authentic Indian foods cooked by friends. You must try this place. We live in St. Augustine and get carry out as often as possible, but dining in is an option too. UPDATE: Still the Best!

Garlic naan is so good! We ordered the butter chicken, the tikka marsala, and the chili chicken and shared it all! So fun and spicy and filling.

THE BUFFET IS CLOSED. The restaurant was empty during the lunch hour, and in spite of that the older Indian lady behind the counter told me that I could not use my credit card unless I have a larger order I told her I just wanted a quick side order and that I did not have any cash on me at the time. I could tell immediately by her demeanor and her very dismissive attitude that she wasn't very friendly so I just left, and she honestly didn't seem to care about hospitality as she never even smiled at the only guest in the restaurant. I see why the place is empty. They used to have a really nice Indian buffet there years ago, but she told me that she closed it.

The food was amazing and a nice surprise. You can taste the heart and soul they put into the food. If you get a chance, try the cauliflower appetizer and the lamb kebab dish, both are out of this world.

Quality of food ok. Very small portions for the price! I had ordered curry chicken, it came with a lot of sauce and little chicken with a lot of rice!

Bad customer service. So disappointed!! The website says they close at 8:30 but when we tried placing order for to-go order @8:20, they were like don’t you understand we are closed… in a rude voice. Like BRUHH. Try to be polite , we are customers… NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT! 0/100.

Fantastic meal! 4 of us shared korma, butter chicken, Rogan Jous vindaloo, papadum, samosa chat and naan, mango lassi…you choose your spiciness 1-10, we took 3/4 for mild curries with a little heat on the back. Each savory dish so different, so luxurious. This is a new favorite stop! Main dishes are <$20

Their food is superb! I had vegetable samosa for an appetizer and lamb sag for my main with pashwari naan. Out of this world!

This very well might have been the worst experience with Indian food I have ever had. Lamb was cold and didn't even look like it touched a grill. Completely raw. When I pointed it out, the plate was taken away and thrown back on the table overcooked and inedible. I was introducing people to Indian food so got the typical chicken tikka masala. That was a big disappointment as was just about everything else we ordered. The owners are very unfriendly and unsociable period food was disappointing. Portions were tiny. I don't see how this place will survive.

I love this place, we've been coming here for almost 10 years! The owners are so kind and make sure you feel at home. They are very attentive and get your order right every time! Everything we have ordered has been superb, and they don't mind cooking things to be more mild for my kids or extra spicy for my husband. They welcome me and my children, offering big smiles and delicious food. One time, they were out of raitha and the owners wife made some fresh for us. You cant go wrong with the lamb, malai kofta, paneer Tikka masala, butter chicken, samosas, and Briyani. They have delicious lunch buffet on weekdays!

If you like spicy this is your place.

Not a higher-end experience (the decor is nothing to write home about)... but you really don't care once you start eating... fantastic food, super friendly staff, and did I mention the fantastic food? Never had a bad experience and highly recommend!

I will say it was clean from what I could see. But come on! Food portions were too small and menu was waaay to expansive with no real help and prices were still steep per person. The overall feeling of the place was not welcoming at all. No wonder it is never busy! This place could be so much better with the great location and great cuisine they do offer! Needs some revamp and some food promos to start.

rude service , mean talk and no proper hospitality and food tasted really bad. But we atleast expected people to talk to us properly, treatment for both americans and indians is completely different and is very unacceptable. very dissatisfied and disappointed.

I was looking for a non-mainstream restaurant here in St. Aug because I am bored of the typical places. Pulled into the parking lot with my friend and thought “let me check the reviews first”, and was set on going in after seeing how stupid the bad reviews were. Ended up having a blast, fantastic food, fantastic staff, half the price I’d normally spend on a dinner around town. Will return often with groups of friends and family, it’s worth it, classy establishment.

Customer service was the worst, the owner or the manager don't know how to talk and was very rude.

Decent food but smaller than normal potion size btw with todays inflated price of $14/dish (saag paneer). Asked for sliced onion (used as a condiment w/ Saag). Would have been no more than 1/5 of an $0.50 onion. Was told it would be $4 because of the high inflation. Overall, an exceptionally bland/meh experience.

I stopped in for take out as I have been missing good and authentic Indian food from when I lived in NJ. I am so happy I did. Excellent is all I can say. Everyone was pleasant. Food was very good and left me wanting more I will be back for sure.

As always, amazing food and amazing service. Restaurant is immaculate consistently, has fresh food that tastes amazing and they are very friendly. You will not be disappointed. Try Samosa Chat appetizer. Garlic naan is a must with your meal. Lamb Sag and Lamb Curry is amazing. Try spice levels low and work your way up in following visits. Wait times or parking is never an issue and food always comes out amazing. Surely will become one of your favorite restaurants.

The customer service was so bad. We asked for light ice and I guess the waitress (assuming is the wife) didn’t hear which is ok. We asked for light ice when she came back and she grabbed a spoon and started scooping ice out of my mom’s cup (???). We ordered a salad which was literally shredded lettuce, canola oil, and two tomato and cucumber slices. The appetizer was ok though. We left right after as we didn’t feel comfortable in the atmosphere, especially after the rude reaction I got from returning the salad.

The food here is delicious! I had the butter chicken and it was really good!

Food is excellent! The owners and kitchen staff are very friendly. This is a mom and pop restaurant. It’s the type of restaurant that draws you in for the quality of food. They have authentic Indian food and they use fresh ingredients. If I could eat here everyday, I would. I invite many friends and many family often. It’s always recommended again and again with everyone enjoying it. Start low on spicy levels so you can learn where your tolerances are. I recommend samosa chat with lamb curry or lamb sag. Naan is a must! Spending about $35 per person between both of us for, appetizer, meal, tax and tip.

I had Lamb Curry, and my husband had Chicken 65. Both are super delicious. The Naan bread was so good! The service also good! Don't have any problem at all! And the place was clean. I can't believe they only have 3,8 stars reviews. I think this is the best Indian food we ever had so far! We will be back and try other item menu for sure!

We went on 24Dec2023 after 5pm,Food was 👍,we ordered Gobi curry ,Garlic and plain Naan,Daal ,Rice.There service was totally rude,No water service,Asked about spicy level 1-10,Which blow my mind,No greeted,No smile.Both owner and service lady was too rude ,told us to throw all your garbage Napkins ,papers ,cans outside the restaurant before coming in.Insult us and other Indian guests in front of other non Indian customer for not giving tips.They never showed where the restroom was!Totally bad experience.Im giving 1 or -1 star only for the food.one of the worst disrespectful experience in USA in any Indian restaurant.I would never recommend to anyone.

Such a worst ever restaurant I had been into the US, though the restaurant says open till 3 PM and we had reached the place well advance around 2:15 PM, and couple of my friend's family reached 2:25 PM. Still, we had been stopped to have dine in with rude attitude with no reason. The person we faced was such an arrogant, resistant to receive us with minimal courtesy. I have never seen a person confronting with us including children so far in the hotel industry. We just came to you to get a taste of Indian cuisines and the way you treated us completely misleading. We would respect your time as well and could have finished our lunch by 3 PM if timing was your problem but you made us to write this such a worst ever review in my life time. Please note, we haven't gone for such a vast orders that made you to spend lot of time and breach your timings, instead we would have gone for available items which makes life easier for both of us but still you're rude. I don't see any regrets from you for my friends review about what was happened on 29th Dec. Simply you are saying "Have a good life". I am wishing you "Have a good life and earn customers credits". Food was ok but Please don’t go. Super rude person at the front desk. Not sure what’s the owner’s intention of running this restaurant. Take a look at how he responded to all the negative google reviews as well.

Food was ok and not that great to mention here.. Front desk is really bad, No Welcome face and each statement with us was Rude. First he asked to order food before taking a Seat inside. We informed that our friends are on the way and he replied he can let them dine only until 2:30pm. Our friends (with their parents and a kid) arrived at 2:20 but he didn’t let them to dine. So our friends ordered To-Go and stayed outside until 3pm and had their food in car even though the Restaurant is Open. And we had our food inside Restaurant.. Very Pathetic. Before we finish our food, they started cleaning tables which literally forced to move out.. what a kind service!! Briyani was served with a small bowl of Curd and when we asked for an extra curd, they replied they will charge $4+

The food was good. But the customer service was dismal. Courtesy in dealing with hungry customers coming to their place at 2:00 PM is something the managing staff don't seem to have. The online portal says they are open till 3 PM, but they will not allow you to occupy a table if you go there at 2:20 PM. They should either change their timings in the online portal or learn to be courteous with their customers coming late afternoon. We choose an Indian restaurant in an unknown town just to feel the sense of comfort and also a sense of pride that our people have a footprint there. People will forget how the food tasted over time, but not the experience of being treated badly. Again, the food is great. I would definitely recommend the food. But if you are hungry and the time is past 2:00 PM, if you want to have a pleasant rest of the day, I would suggest you look for an alternative option.

A delightful change of pace in restaurants here in St. Augustine, Florida. Namaste serves authentic Indian cuisine in a very relaxing & casual setting. The basmati rice is superb and is served individually with most entrées. Diners can specify the degree of spice that they prefer in their menu choices. I had a vegetable curry with mild seasoning. It was fresh and delicious! The next time that I dine there I will order an entrée with a bit more spice just to be more adventurous. I plan to return soon to use the gift certificate that I was given by a dear friend. 😊

To start with my review, we visited St. Augustine for a couple of days with my family to enjoy the Best Time of the Year :) My daughter being a hard-core fan of Indian cuisine wanted to order from an Indian Restaurant and that landed us to this place. I picked up the phone to place my order. The guy on the other side was arrogant to the extent that I think he is in the wrong industry for that matter. I tried to understand their Spice level and instead of explaining and listening to my requirements, as I wanted to order between Mild and Medium the guy refused to provide the details about the scale and the relative intensity of the Spice level. On intriguing further as I didn't want to end up placing a wrong order for my kids, he said rudely it doesn't matter to me what spice level you choose as you have to eat not me!! The story doesn't end here, when I tried to ask his name, he banged the phone to my face. I fail to understand that being in food service industry how can someone be so short tempered and discourteous. I ended up ordering spice level 6 which was too hot/spicy for my kids. If you are having a bad day, then please don't litter it out on your customers as Karma watches and will give you back at some point.

I do not recommend to go into this restaurant. I need to wait 15-20 min for water. Until and unless ask for water nobody is going to provide you water and another main thing, we were told that we need to order items at first time and they are going to serve. I ask another items in mid time they say we cannot order the items. Also I have seen there American people were served water when they came but as Asian we need to wait 15 min and need to request for water.

The couple did seem like they were rude, not gonna lie but I’ve come to believe that they don’t understand the concept of customer service in the United States and they’re still operating at an Indian restaurant level. The food was pretty good! Garlic naan is to die for! We took Gobi “Mansoori”, chicken biriyani, garlic naan and Malai kofta. No complaints about the food. Only confusing part was, the lady asked me what’s the spice level that I’m comfortable with. I said “Indian spice”. She asked me to choose the spice level from 1-10 without giving me an idea of what’s what. I said 8 just to be safe and the food was bland. Should have gone with 10. Entre took like 10-15 mins to come and my stomach was already making noises. Main course didn’t take much time. It was right after the entre. Chai was good too, all gingery and spicy! Main complaint, didn’t offer for water at all! Cutlery seemed a bit old and the dining cloth looked dirty. I mean, how hard is it to change clothes? The owner showed me the bill when we were leaving and asked is it okay? Again, I was confused. Btw, if you arrive around 3 PM they’re not going to let you dine in. Also, you can come after 4 PM and you’ll get a table. Otherwise it’s carry out only!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in St. Augustine. We loved the lunch buffet but unfortunately they stopped having that, but the food is wonderful, the place is very clean, and the owners are great people. We love it.

Do not trust them we called them for order they said we did not have enough space so you can take out. After 5 min called back to confirm order they said we closed for lunch break. This is before 3.00 PM only. Looks like stop attending is also not an Indian.

New to St. Augustine I tried this lovely restaurant. The Naan bread is fresh & so good I took a “to go” order home with me. The Tikki Marsala chicken was delicious, I will be returning soon!

We just spent $60 on some of the worst Indian food we’ve ever had. We thought we were safe ordering the chicken tiki masala and saag paneer. The masala tasted like canned Campbell’s tomato soup and the saag paneer was unidentifiable (pale green and runny). I want to support local businesses and the people were nice, but this was just plain terrible overpriced food.

We enjoyed this place so much we went back the next day for more. This will now be our new go to for Indian cuisine! My husband loves the chicken briyani and garlic naan and I greatly enjoyed the Chana masala, mango lassi, and chicken tikka masala.

Honestly, the food was OK, but how they stay in business in a not so diverse area blows me away. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there, but if I was in the area I would go there.

Soooo good! The owner was super kind and the food was delicious. I got Paneer Tikka Masala and my husband got Butter Chicken. Both amazing!

Just stopped by to try to get dinner. The place was practically empty…. I parked my truck. Me and my girlfriend walked inside he asked if we were there for pickup… I asked if we could sit in for dinner… he said sure if I could move my truck. I said sure where would you like me to move it… he said “I don’t know “ … i looked at my girlfriend and said let’s go eat somewhere else. He wanted me to move my truck out of an empty parking lot… it made absolutely no sense whatsoever…. I will never go there again. That’s for sure.

My son was starving after a trolley at St.austine, and their website shows they were open. Because of their rating, we drove 20 minutes from our hotel. We reached around 3 pm when we arrived, and someone told us they were closed. So my advice to others is please call them before deciding to go—otherwise unnecessary waste of your time.

Food was not the best and portions were kind of small. Prices are fair and the chai is amazing! Very clean looking restaurant food was alittle under seasoned by fair price for what you get.

The staff was super friendly and all of the food was delicious!!! We got the Cauliflower Mandoori for an appetizer and the chicken tikka masala and the lamb curry for our entree with a side of garlic naan and it was amazing! Highly recommend!!!

I had the lamb curry medium heat. It came with the initial Hot Bite but then blended perfectly into the delicious flavor of lamb curry on rice and garlic nan. I thought just a bit pricey but it was worth every penny ! My 2 guests had other dishes. One consumed all the meal the other brought some home. WE ALL ENJOYED! ! ! See you there.

It's very clean and the service is amazing. I love the fairy lights and decor, it's so welcoming. The food also smells and tastes great. :) I love their ginger ale and the Chicken Tikka Masala and lamb curry are my favorites, I definitely recommend! Enjoyed eating there very much.

Bad place to eat. People were so rude with us. Their fork and spoon edge had mold. Please be careful when you go there and specially look their fork and spoon. Looks like they just want to sell their food and make money without any good welcome to customers. Not the best but not the worst Indian food. Got the mild tandoori chicken. It was tasty enough but the bones where sticking out everywhere. Lot of bones! Minus the bones the same goes for the korma and naan. Not the best but tasty enough to pay for once in awhile. It’s inexpensive and at noon on a Sunday it was empty and everywhere else was full.

I ordered a bunch of items. Chicken Masala, Vegetable Korma, Naan, Lentil Soup, Garden Salad, and Somosa Chat. Everything was delicious. Rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned. Very clean and tidy establishment. Prices are on point, maybe a little underpriced actually.

The only good place for authentic Indian food around. Amazing dishes, very professional and considerate. Never had a bad experience exploring their whole menu. If you like it hot they can blow your socks off with tons of flavor if you tell them over 10 on the heat scale. Absolutely love Namaste.

We ordered so many different dishes and naan and it was all amazing!!

I have always been positive and considerate with reviews. The food was fine. Mine came spicier than what I would have preferred but that’s me not gauging. Ambiance is okay. Service was good until I watched someone treated differently than the way she treats the rest of the customer. That made me uncomfortable eating. I would have given 1 star for overall experience but then I would just be doing what she did. Respect goes a long way. I will not be coming back.
