Every time we come to St. Augustine we go to Ned's. It's our favorite. Fabulous meals. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The service today was extraordinary as usual. Sandra made our dining experience so much fun! She was right on it AND Kayla (God bless her) had the uncomfortable task of telling a patron their dog was not welcome inside (I mean jeepers, I saw the dog lick the table for heaven sakes!). Both ladies were incredibly personable and professional - even when Kayla had to tell the SAME patron, no you can't smoke! The place has a very small town feel, with a relaxed, take your time atmosphere. We had a wonderful time and all 3 of us had an excellent meal. Highly recommend!

Ned's is my favorite restaurant . They have an extenive menu, all the food is great, and the servers are cordial., and efficient. I have never been disappointed with anything about Ned's.

Food is amazing and big portions

I ordered meatless nachos with extra cheese when I got home. All of the chips were pretty much burnt. It was obvious it was overcooked, and there was extra cheese. I was hard-pressed to find that. Won’t go back

Omg was the baked ziti out of the world! Stayed hot till the very last bite and was so delicious. Super nice people too! Definitely will be a returning customer!

Always amazing food!! I get the Southside "burger" (but with grilled chicken instead of the burger). Everything about that sandwich every time is consistently awesome and tastes excellent! I crave the food and recommend it to everyone!!

As an out of towner and even worse - a Airbnb renter, I always get a little nervous going to restaurants that are clearly for the "locals". I am glad we went to Ned's however. Caprese appetizer was delicious. Took our servers recommendation and ordered the southern chicken and it was delicious. The interior looks similar to a diner, but this place could serve their food in a upscale setting and charge $10 more a plate and people would still go. Service was excellent. My wife's meatloaf was good.

Think Mamaw’s kitchen table, great food and caring service. The kind of place where you can get comfort food or a chef-inspired special. I love this place, always leaving happy and satisfied. Highly recommend.

My husband and I were vacationing in St.Augustine in June for the first time. We picked this restaurant after a Google search of the menu. I try and look for restaurants that serve flounder because it's my favorite fish. Well let me tell you this place did not disappoint!! We ate there twice while we were in the area because I wanted to go back and get more flounder. And the sun-dried tomato basil butter on top of it was out of this world!!! My husband got the liver and onions the first night and the philly cheesesteak the second night. He said both were very good. If you go here you will not be disappointed.

One of the true local food gems in Saint Augustine that’s not in a tourist area. Been enjoying the great array of food, salads and soups for years. The quality is top notch and always fresh. The house dressing is so good that you will want to put a straw in it and take a drink. The salads are delicious and so big it’s impossible to finish it in one sitting! The staff is friendly and the parking is plenty. Was worried that quality would go down with the new owner a few years ago, it didn’t! Think everything got a touch better. They offer an order on line feature and a pick up window. The colors are vibrant in and on the building and it just makes you feel welcome. Highly recommended and Florida Man Approved!

Ned's Southside Kitchen is a good place to dine! The food is good, with a menu that gives a good amount of options. Its an ideal spot for a date night. However, be prepared for it to be pretty crowded. Despite the crowd, the service remains good, with friendly and attentive staff. I recommend to check it out!

No more neds for me. 3 strikes and your out. Ordered the chicken parm 3 times. First time, didnt realize the noddles didnt have marinara, my bad, I Figured you were like every other restaurant out there with chicken parm Giving you spaghetti on the side. Nope.. Ok second time. Asked multiple times for marinara on the spaghetti. The same lady take in the order Said they'll put it on the side. I specifically asked to just put it on the noodles not in a separate cup. Didnt do it. Gave it one more shot, Still won't put the marinera on the noodles. I am done. I'll go elswhere.

I'm so glad we found this little restaurant! Great food, great service, good family atmosphere. Great food selection with adequate proportions. I ordered the Seafood fra Diavolo, which I think is Italian, but has a low country Creole spicy taste. Delicious! Iwas impressed with the cleanliness of the dining area and the restrooms. We visited again last night (4 days later). Again, excellent food and excellent service. My wife had the Flounder Olivia and I had the Chicken Parmigiana. Very Good! I am giving this place a 1 star because of the owner of the restaurant was inconsiderate of service dogs. Had been a loyal customer for years but he gave me a attitude about giving my service dogs a drink. It's a hot June day. The food is good there as is the surface of the waitress.

We ate here our first night in St Augustine and were so satisfied that we came back the next day as well. Menu provides something for everyone and portions to please us big boys.

Good food at a fair price. They are the chicken and fish crusting experts, one can never go wrong with one of these. Always tasty and perfectly cooked. The prime rib is slow cooked for hours so that any gristle had become soft. Their nutritional yeast house dressing it's lick-the-plate-clean delicious. And the fried shrimp is oh-so-sweet. My wife and I go here at least once a week. It can get a bit crowded during tourist and snow bird season, but the wait is worth it.

Chicken parmigiana was delicious! Beware the kid’s spaghetti and meatballs come in a regular size plate. Chicken strips were tasteless, we had to ask the server to fry them a little more and still not good. Our server was nice and friendly

Usually the food is really good but this time it was very bland. Maybe a new cook!? Eggplant parmesean. NO flavor green beans and pasta with no flavor or sauce.

Every food dish here has been delicious. We love the calamari, red drum Rockefeller, flounder, shrimp Jackson, and seafood French quarter.

Shrimp was really good but IMO it is quite difficult to get great hush puppies anywhere. These were excellent! Done in the middle but not overcooked, just crispy and so good.

My first time here, after my friends continually told me I had to try it. Ned’s was everything and more than I was told. Although the place was packed for lunch, the server brought two orders of appetizers out in three minutes! Our main courses were not far behind that, and were HUGE. I will definitely be back many more times in the future. What another fantastic place to eat, here in Saint Augustine.

Came in for the lasagna special this week. Food was good, and served hot. It was our first time having Sandra as our server. She was awesome! Very friendly and attentive! She brought me a bigger bowl for my house salad, which I requested because the salad always overflows out of the smaller bowls they're served in. I told her she was one of the best servers we've ever had there. Well done!

The Spanish bean and rice with chicken and sausage dinner is a must try. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, the food is tasty and delicious, the restaurant is clean and organized.

It was my first time having lunch at Ned’s Southside Kitchen and it was a 10/10 for me. I had the Portabello Melt and the house seasoned shrooms were incredibly delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try something else on the menu. It all looks good.

The food is consistent and reasonably priced. The service is usually very good. Restaurant dining is a little loud during peak times but mostly pleasant and their takeout window is convenient.

$30 Prime Rib Special (Thursday - Saturday after 4pm) - Prime Rib, mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans, garlic bread, purple cabbage slaw.. Took myself out for an early dinner and I'd heard good things about the $30 Prime Rib Special. I was informed the meat is only served Medium temp and above but I would have preferred it Medium-Rare. It was a good size piece of meat but unfortunately a 1/4 of it was pure fat.. I got the hard, chewy butt end piece of the garlic bread which is just my luck.. Ordered a side of Hushpuppies and they came out ultra hot, crispy, and greasy fresh from the fryer. Too bad they were actually undercooked on the inside.. The green beans and carrots were soft and bland and the mash was flavorless. No butter or seasoning or anything like that. At least they had salt on the table which I used liberally.. The owner made the rounds doing meet-and-greets at each table but skipped over me which I thought was odd but no offense taken. The clientele was mostly seniors at this hour and I was the youngest customer by 20+ years.. The best part of the meal was the Galleons Golden Ale beer brewed locally.. I might give this place another try someday or I might just go somewhere new.

We eat at Ned's every time we're in St Augustine. Great food. Large portions at a fair price. It's not fancy, but it's a diner, after all. They have a pet cat, and the owner is a great guy.

Nachos were really good, and much perfer this place if youre looking for a nice good lunch to eat at. Wait time was around 10 minutes, and it was hot and ready when it came out. Overall rating, 5/5.

Very impressed! Our server Michelle was fantastic and the food was delicious. The tropical topping for the fried green tomatoes made me wish they sold it! Chicken parm dish was perfect 👌 and hubby loved the fish n grits. 😋 Everything is from scratch and it tastes like it ❤️

Food was very good and yes large portions. We went for the prime rib.we Our waiter told us it was going to be medium with slightly pink. We asked about other dishes as we like medium rare. I have to say he was not friendly to us. We felt rushed. . As we were waiting for our food the table next to us received their prime rib came and it was medium rare. I questioned and he just brushed it off. Disappointed as that is why we came. He asked other tables how was everything as he just passed us by. I asked about how the key lime pie is. His response was “ I don’t know I don’t eat pie” and rushed off. He rushed back and said he heard it was good before rushing off. We opted not to have after that Overall we would return just to try other dishes. They have many to choose from and all looked delicious Just a bad experience with our waiter. I would say he was just having a bad busy day, however he treated other tables different than ours. Like I said definitely go try the food.

After years of good food this week it was tasteless, left most on our plates. Disappointing

I come to St Augustine once a year to visit family. We always enjoy going to Neds Southside Kitchen but what a horrible experience this time. The food was great, the service was horrible. Not just inattentive but actually rude, I have never experienced anything like it. There’s many other option with good food and pleasant staff. Needless to say we won’t be back.

In the area visiting and Ned's was recommended. Our server Tommy was great! And food was delicious.

Great experience at this cozy place. Portions are big, food is tasty, service is friendly and fast. I had liver with onions and it was cooked to perfection, however I would suggest putting less gravy and more onions.

Great restaurant where the locals eat. The potato crusted chicken and the veggie burger are excellent. We always love coming to Ned’s when in town. The Dixie Chicken & Bang Bang Shrimp are also favorites. It’s always good to see the famous Milo the 🐈 cat. He is a rockstar with shirts and all. #milofanclub

I was asked to leave when I finished my meal as there were other customers waiting to be seated. As a long time customer I was very disappointed. Have never been asked to leave a restaurant in my life.

Friendly local cafe. Menu is quite extensive offering multi cuisines. Reviews said despite that they did a great job. Overall it was middle of the road food. The portions are generally large but, in my opinion, rather bland. The fried fish sandwich came with 2 large pieces of fish but the breading needed seasoning. The reuben had plenty of corned beef but the rye bread was smaller than normal and very mild rye taste. It needed more thousand island dressing as the sandwich was rather dry. I ordered pasta salad instead of fries and the salad was loaded with too much sundried tomatoes (an unusual take on pasta salad) and also had black olives. Didn't finish it. With all the good reviews was hoping for better. If you eat all they serve you won't go away hungry. As I said, portions are large.

Restaurant and food were fantastic. Especially when you’re celiac. We dined in, service was prompt and suggested gluten free items. Suggest you try the prime rib special!

Wouldn’t serve because I asked for kids plate because of baritic surgery and would serve my husband and not the only restaurant that wouldn’t serve me a child’s meal. The older waitress was very rude and uncompromising. So we left most restaurants understand but not her.if I can’t a big portion I can’t eat a big portion I eat what I can . It doesn’t bode well with us to be treated like that the bad service left with a bad taste in our mouth no pun intended.you said I neede a medical card about my surgery she didn’t ask I’ve never been asked before did think I was lying about my poor experience there. Do you think lie about surgeries they have it’s very discriminating.

We were a party of 4 tonight and we all were glad we chose this restaurant for dinner. Our waitress, Constance , was excellent! Her recommendations were on point. Very friendly and efficient. I recommend you arrive early. The prices are very reasonable, portions are substantial and food was good.

I have eaten at Ned's more times than I can count, with various friends and family. The staff all go out of their way to make sure we have everything we need, and more! The food is ALWAYS sensational! It truly feels like a home away from home for my family! Thanks for the many years of loving care and fantastic food!

Found them on Google and decided to give them a try. I'm glad we did. They have great choices on their menu for every taste. We had the conch fritters for an appetizer they were great. For dinner, we had the meatloaf and burger. Both were very good. Tony was our server, and he was very attentive and friendly. We came down from Jacksonville and will be back

Awe man!!! This was so good! We usually go to Gypsy, and this was the first time here! We will definitely be back. There are enough items on the menu to never have to eat the same thing twice. Nachos - amazing! Gypsy Chicken (it's not called that here but I forgot the name)- amazing! Service - amazing. Had a little wait, but it was worth it.
