Delicious, delicious and cheap authentic Greek shop. The guy running the shop is very handsome and friendly. I hope to come again if I have the chance.

Seems like the owner is too busy responding to 1 star reviews so much so he forgot to change the time his shop was open to. Walked 20 mins around 12am looking forward to a gyro, only to be met with a "closed" sign on the door. The pictures and most of the reviews seem good. Will try again if ever in town, but I'll go earlier lol. 1 star cause I'm hungry and pissed... 3 stars cause the walk gave me some needed exercise. I'll meet in the middle and give a 2 star review.

Quick food service. The Gyros taste amazing. It’s my first time ordering anything from here. They have an upstairs lobby where me and my friends watched the hockey game. It’s definitely our go to spot when we are in town.

Authentic Greek Food. Loved our Gyros, fries, Greek salad. Counter delivery, food delivery to table. Casual atmosphere, we set upstairs, very private and quiet. Will definitely be back.

Music is obnoxiously loud. Good eh. Don’t bother going.

I placed a takeout order on valentines day around 8pm for a total of $14.20 and an employee has committed fraud by updating the price later to $18.46. I did not tip this establishment. I called to address this matter and a young lady who said she was the manager told me “i know who was working that night and I will have the owner contact you” it has been a week and every time I try to contact someone regarding this matter, they are either closed or no one answers the phone. the mere fact that I had to leave a review to hear back from you is crazy. secondly you as an establishment is not taking accountability for an employee stealing from customers. Secondly its not about the amount , it is the principle that employees are falsely reporting amounts on the tickets they close at the end of their shifts. Finally, I have disputed the charge for the entire amount.

Nefalies has become my second home, and my first place for amazing greek cuisine. The employees like Gus, Luca, Jay, Tito, and the other guys that constantly get me to just the right buz after a busy work day. Can't go wrong by spending you time here.

Ok, this place is a total dive with some of the best gyro ive ever had, crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. Theres something extra in the grape leaves, the spice is fantastic. Decent drinks, most of the shelf was mid tier and above liquors. The guy behind the bar, im assuming the owner, was attentive and friendly. Really wanted some baklava but its also a bar. They have/are opening another location with pastries, hopefully theyll bring some of that over in the future.

The lemon pepper chicken and Greek platter were SO GOOD. A great crisp on the meat and such flavorful sauce for the lemon pepper chicken and delicious homemade salad dressing. Roasted potatoes were piping hot and yummy! Also, service was fabulous and they went above and beyond to help me with an ice bag after I rolled my ankle while walking there! Thank you so much, y'all brightened my night!

If you are out at 1am, Tacos are amazing! A little pricey but Amazing!

Love Nefelie’s! We had them cater a party this weekend for a wedding celebration and everything was delicious. We did a pita bar with gyro meat and chicken with hummus and tzatziki (so good!) and other toppings. Amazing flavor. Our guests all raved about how good the food was! 10/10 food, quality, and service!

Updated Oct 2023, first off if the Panthers are playing a home game they are open at about 11 ish to 11:30. I hate to tell this out as it is really easy to order food (at the Bar) and then go upstairs to the dining area and wait for it. I had the Nefelies Pita and the wife had the Lemon Pepper chicken. The food was hot and tasty. The review below was over a year old and still stands. I will say the music was a bit loud for us but a younger crowd would probably be ok with it. The dining room upstairs, in the section with the tables is quite as there are no speakers in that section. Stop here on the way to the Panthers game. The bar was slam packed so we went upstairs to the dining room. One other couple enjoying a nice quiet atmosphere shared the entire room with us. Have ate here before so we kinda knew what we wanted. I ended up with the Lime chicken and wife had the London broil. Sides were greens, friend potatoes, Okra, and rice. There are other side choices also. Food was quick, hot and very good. They specialize in Greek gyros. Will have to try those later. Update from month ago, had the steak and roasted potatoes. It was good and had a nice side dish of spinach greens. Food rated as previously. One big caveat. If coming here on a night where the Panthers are playing (or the Knights for that matter) expect it to be a little slow due to the surge crowds at the bar and outside in the Latta Arcade. Allow at least an extra 30 minutes.

The pork souvlaki in pita was amazingly authentic and tasty! The garlic aioli sauce complimented the flavors even better than traditional tzatziki. My wife enjoyed the classic gyro. Both highly recommended! The owner, Loukas, welcomed us with smiles and promptly took our orders himself. We would definitely return and recommend to others. Challenges: the place is small and the atmosphere is bar-like, where seating is a bit of a premium, as is parking in the area.

Worst place !! They charge you for an extra sauce. When I asked the manager I spend all this money and you are charging me for extra he almost fight with me. Don’t waste your money. The food is not that good.

This place is the bomb, bar tenders are so nice, Josh Hayley and Chris are wonderful people with such good customer service! The food is great as well hats off to the chef as well amazing job cooked to absolute Greek perfection. As a fellow Greek I approve of this place’s way of making the Greek food it’s like eating back at home. Bar back is jus so good too, very handsome. If you ever come please tip these hard working people a very good tip because they deserve it and more.

The wings were pretty good. Its not alot for your money. I felt like there wasn't much room for dine in. They had seats next to the bar. I just preferred not to sit there.

Was in town for business and wanted some late night food and they were open. Had some amazing Greek gyro pizza. Would go back next time I come back.

The worst customer service I’ve ever had. I literally just ordered fries and I asked for some olives to put on top and I was told “you’re so picky”. The service here is trash and I will never come back here nor advice any friend to visit this establishment. Can’t be sure if it’s the bar itself or the bartenders, but I’ll never come back.

Nefelies is the place to go. Here's why. Bartenders are super nice and full of smiles. One of the bartenders came back and opened up the bar to help me look for missing car keys on his day off! That's the kind of people they are. 5 STARS!!

Absolutely amazing experience, got the original gyro and lemon pepper chicken. Very cozy small vibe with quality food for cheap prices. Really friendly bartender as well!

I've been a fan of Nefelie's for a while, but always ordered through Postmates. I finally decided to visit on a Friday evening. The upstairs dining room is only open during lunch hours, so my only indoor seating option was the bar or one of only two high top tables. The Lemon Pepper Chicken is my favorite along with the feta creamed spinach.

Hayley at Neflies is awesome! I forgot something on my Doordash order and she made it work. She is a godsend. Best Gyro in the city!

Quick service to place your order and get food. But watch out for lunch hour rush, food quality suffers, and your drink stays empty.

Nearly authentic Greek gyro. They do not sell/serve Greek beer. They do not give discounts to veterans.

Came here after being out late for pictures and was met with kind service and a decent gyro. Usually late night bar food is garbage but here I ate the whole thing. The late night ambience is always entertaining with drunk people. The interior has no decor. It is a dive which is why everyone was sitting outside. Local parking is limited so i suggest getting an Uber.

The food was bomb! I got the Poseidon and my bf got the lamb gyro we both loved it! We did take out. Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is bc the lady who took our order and gave it to us in the store was pretty rude and had an attitude but we will be back regardless! This was our first time. They also need to update their menu on their website. Postmates is correct but their site has things they don’t have anymore according to the rude lady.

I got a special for only 9 bucks including tax . It was stuffed chicken with spinach and two sides. The sides were spinach and fries. It was very good and worth the price . They have specials each day too . I'd definitely recommend it .

Stopped in for the lemon pepper chicken lunch special today. Glad I did! I will definitely be back to try their other lunch specials. It can get a bit crowded at lunch, so try to get here before 12 if you can. If not, it's still worth the wait!

Fresh homemade Greek and American food. The Burgers are a great deal at lunch, and the traditional Greek Gyros and Entrees at dinner always satisfy. Full bar upstairs and downstairs with patio seating in Brevard Court.

Havent been to Latra Arcade in awhile. Met a friend there for lunch and we found this little gem. Long climb up the steps but well worth it. Nice menu moderately priced with lots of great options. We both chose the special thay day which was spinach stuffed chicken. It was amazing. Check it out.

Small, no frills, diner-like experience on the second floor of a century old building. Food was good, solid, Greek fast food. Prices are standard (10 bucks for a gyro and fries, table service), but take out counter service is available as well. Atmosphere was really dark and sombre, could use a little livening up, or order take out and eat outside!

Small upstairs dining area with bar on bottom floor. Wait staff are friendly and attentive. The food came out super fast and it was incredibly delicious. The prices are so inexpensive and they give you a ton of food! I'm so excited about this place. I can't wait to try a different item on the menu. 🤗🤗

Nefelies is absolutely the best! Bartenders are super cool. Plus their gyros are seriously some of the best food I’ve ever had. Best gyro I’ve ever had hands down. If you’re in the area try them out, you won’t regret it. I visit Charlotte almost every weekend if work allows it and I almost always stop by for a gyro. They’re that good.

A quiet little Greek restaurant tucked inside a busy lane of interesting restaurants. Had lunch here and it was good. The food was good. Portion was big and very good value for money. Quite a good entree n sides. The Oakra fries tasted great. Friendly staff. Overall a good experience.

This is one of my favorite places to go to for lunch uptown. Although I’ve been many times, the Lemon Pepper Chicken is what brings me in. It’s so good. I always place my togo order upstairs at the window. It’s quick and painless. There is a bar to sit at while you wait. If you go during normal lunch hours, expect there to be a lunch rush and the order could take a little longer, but it never takes a long time. I’m normally in and out within 15 minutes. I normally get the same sides when I go too. I order the roasted potatoes and the fried okra. With the lemon pepper chicken, I always get the sauce on the side and use it more as a dip. I find that the sauce can be a little over powering if it’s poured onto the chicken. This way I can flavor it as needed. They have specials Monday - Friday, so there is always something on special to try out. Monday is Lemon Pepper Chicken day :) I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to try out a new place uptown without breaking the bank to do so. There are so many restaurants uptown now, it’s a little hard to make it to them all, but if you are on the Wells Fargo side, it’s worth the trip for sure. If you are in a hurry, go after 1 PM.

Intrigued by the alley as we passed by and stopped in at Nefelie’s for lunch. So glad we did!! The falafel pita with tzazeiki was really really good and another member of our party loved the gyro. Servers so welcoming and helpful. Do yourself a favor and stop here afterwards consider walking further up the street keeping up the street(the opening to the alley on your right) turn right at the next corner and walk a hundred feet to Parliament coffee on the right. So yummy! Have fun in Charlotte!

The seating is upstairs and at small tables. A little smokey inside, but that just added to the mood and ambiance. Server was nice and helpful. Will go again.

This place has awesome food for the price. The spinach and feta side is my favorite! the Greek fries are good and every entree I've gotten is great. The saganaki was not my favorite, but I believe they stopped selling it. Nefelie's is a blast on Greek nights. Really feels like you're in Europe--just super fun and definitely a change from the norm in Charlotte.

Why can't they get the order correct when you order through the apps? This is the second time I ordered through the app and didn't get my correct order. Its not DoorDash or Postmates fault is the restaurants. I know .... because I deliver as well. They have a good quality of food. But I will eat in if I ever order from here again.

I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and legit the Greek food was. We stopped here for drinks, ended up getting several food dishes. They have a decent selection of craft beer to top it off.

Food was decent, but the server upstairs forgot we were dining in, then proceeded to run her mouth about our table from the host stand (where we could easily hear her). Well order to go from now on if we ever come back.
