Amazing service clean bathrooms. Service was fast and friendly

I've been coming to this Showmars for years, and the food is consistently really good, fast and the staff always amazing. I wouldn't not recommend this place. My last order though, placed online, I had a strange interaction with a long time staff member. I ordered extra onions and peppers on a Santorini Chicken Pita, which is a regular order for a few years, and was informed next time I would be charged extra ($1.49 I think she said). She said this has always been the case and she wasn't sure what others may or may not be doing. I was told the app had no way to charge for this and I would be charged in store. I've ordered extra on pitas and burgers even when placed in store and never an issue. I've also never been offered money back when I ask for no tomatoes on something. Maybe I should ask for a discount on the next burger i order? I'm already spending $14 for a Chicken Pita and fries (no drink), and the app certainly has the ability to charge for cheese, just seems weird. I feel trivial and petty, but debating on if I go back, or if I just don't order my "usual" anymore. Not sure. Figure out your app or online ordering or something, and avoid such an uncomfortable in person interaction.

Excellent food that was served hot. Service was phenomenal - food brought to the table in a timely manner. Staff were very kind and checked on us throughout our meal.

I do NOT recommend the new pepper jam pita burger. It was really just a soggy version of the regular pita burger but with a sweet liquid puddle at the bottom of my to-go container. Otherwise, this is a pretty good place in my experience. Every time I place a to-go order my order is always right and ready to go when I get there. For dining in, they keep the place pretty clean too.

Cancelled my order for no reason without informing me.

World's best fish sandwich is always great. Lots of options and something for everyone. You truly can't go wrong with Showmars for lunch or dinner.

Haven't walked into not one Charlotte Showmars that's not very lean and food taste the same , so delicious whichever one you go to.. 😋 😀

The food was near inedible. The condiments were obviously old and bad tasting. The burger was nothing special and my wife said her chicken dish was tasteless. I do NOT recommend this restaurant

We stopped here after a meeting in the area because we all were familiar with Showmars. Love the Fish sandwich with cheese, and tarter sauce combo. One of the servers' was doing some cleaning while we were there, good to see. Showmars Restaurant has a diverse menu. I try to get something different, but I end up getting the Fish sandwich combo. This is a restaurant of choice for me, Showmars.

This Shomars location is excellent. The food is always hot and fresh. The establishment stays clean including the bathrooms. It's a quiet environment. It doesn't matter what time you go there is always tables available and rarely a line. That's the best part. If you love peace along with quality food and friendly staff this is definitely for you. I want to give a big shout out to Payton, Sebastian and the chefs for giving top-notch service every time I eat here. There is another young Queen who takes my order sometimes that I would like to acknowledge as well. I always do my best to leave a big tip because not only do these Queens and King deserve it but I know it's not always easy working in fast food. Please go and support. To me, this is the best location in Charlotte.

I have been to several Show Mars in town and I have never had an oily food, all the foods we ordered are oily. you guys need to retrain your cooks with the recipe, you all use too much old oil, frying fish in the old oil and leaving it longer. in the oil as well. Please retrain them, and I am not coming back here again. Atmosphere is clean and customer service is great just the food is oily

I always love to eat at Showmars. It's the employees that make or break a location for me. The employees at this location are awesome! They speak, they always get my order right, and it's cooked to perfection!! Will definitely head back to this one! Great job, guys, and gals!!

On 02/03/2024 at 12 noon I realized I will NEVER come back to this particular Showmars! A tip for take out???? If I sat down COOL I never mind paying tip and I tip GOOD for good service, but not for takeout??! And its on the credit card machine, that I couldn't get refunded. On Top of that I ordered an old fashion pita burger that comes with chili. I'm like for $18 (including a tip thats shouldn't be asked for on take out) you can put more than a teaspoon of Chilli on the damn thing! I mean "old fashion" is centered around the chilli!!!! Yes!!! I was HOT. Its principle, I work hard for my money and regardless the cost I want my money worth! NEVER AGAIN! I've been going to Shomars over 25 years and they are slowly going down hill customer service, food and all. I may NEVER come back to ANY Shomars!!

Omg...there was so little food that they literally put a pita bread on one whole side of the container. 😡 I thought they forgot my rice, but it was a tiny portion neatly tucked under the chicken. I mean...it should have been a whole bed of rice exactly where that pita bread was. This new norm of charging the most and giving the least is so frustrating. It was good though.

Shomars used to have really good food but lately, not so much! I ordered a fish sandwich combo and it was less than expected! Usually, the Fish Sandwich is filled with Fish and huge! This one had two pieces of Fish was barely warm and the Fries were not fresh or hot! I was disappointed. I do appreciate the care that they put into the No tamper delivery packaging. I just wish the Food had been better!

My Daughter and son in law ate here we dined in, we all had pita Burger meals they had onion rings I had fries but my fries were cold, what's up with these showmars locations serving cold fries, they did bring hot fries out but I had to wait on them, by the time I got the fries my daughter and her husband were just about finished their meal, I didn't want to hold them up so I just ate what I could and left since we were all riding together, that was an inconvenience do better showmar serve hot food all the way not some hot and some cold.

Place order on line, to be pick up at 11:30 am. Got there on time, good wasn't ready

My wife & I were working our way across south Charlotte, heading to Wilkinson Blvd. to hit Hwy 74... and avoid I-85 at rush hour. We were HUNGRY! Saaay... 10 years ago when we lived in this area... I remembered a Showmars at this location near where I had worked. So... before we headed back home to the mountains, we stopped in here for a fast... and filling meal. Good golly... I haven't had a gyros plate in a lonnng time. It was SO GOOD. I'm glad we stopped here to have our dinner enroute back to Hendersonville.

Came here for their 40th year anniversary special of the 40 cent fish sandwich. Haven't eaten at showmars in over 15 years. Was pleasantly surprised at how good their fish sandwich is. There were 4 to 5 pieces of lightly breaded flounder in this sandwich. Coated with the right amount of tartar sauce. The bread to fish ratio was great, I never felt like there wasn't enough fish like some of the other fish sandwiches I've eaten. Will try their spicy fish sandwich next time.

I've never had a bad exspirience at any of these restaurants! Very good food, worth every penny.

Simple menu, with a good twist on your Pita. You can get a decent meal for under $10 here and there is plenty of seating if you are trying to beat the elements. You can order, sit and stay, or order to go at the window inside (Rebecca is a fantastic Hostessl) or their app (discounts anyone?). Got the Original Pita Burger and a side of fries. This hit the spot. So curious to try the other items. Can't wait till next time. Bring friends and family. It's a clean place with a calm atmosphere.

Poor service or no service at all.

The gyros I ordered were ready quickly and tasted delicious. Pricing is ok but not exceptional. Same goes for the service most days, although we didn't dine in on this occasion. Be careful when leaving the parking lot via the Arrowood Rd exit: it's just after a blind hill, so turning onto Arrowood during high traffic times can be difficult or even dangerous.

Food was great. Customer service was great. I ate in. Table was sticky on top and dirty around sides.

Food ordered online and delivered was average at best. I cannot say anything to elevate this. It is what it is. Looks like they are putting their effort in it. But, the final result is just not there. With delivery, the price is not worth it,

I was really disappointed in the portion size of the chicken souvaki it was two tiny tooth picks of meat and a piece of pita bread I payed 13.00 for this I had to send it back and order a pita burger showmars has started cutting corners I have experienced this before but I had hopes of improvement on the upside the restaurant is clean .

Edit: Grilled chicken and cheese on my hummus salad -- ummm yeah. Enough said. The service at this location stinks on Fridays. Going to try a different location in the neighborhood. As a vegan, I love this place. Hummus and salad with pita bread to boot. My favorite! They have a great selection and amazing customer service.

The staff was AMAZING!! The food lacked flavor and heat. We had the souvlaki the fish and shrimp platter and small greek salad. Tons of lettuce but 1 slice of cucumber 2 rings of onion...etc... Not worth the money.

I am giving this restaurant a rating of 2 stars. There is this awfully rude lady. I also noticed that she licks her fingers and bags orders. we are in a pandemic and this is very unsanitary. I don't think I will be coming here again.

whoever the old white lady is with the noticable drawn on eyebrows is very rude. was picking up a doordash and she said “hello!?”

Nobody is answering the phone and my order is 30min late already 😒 I want to cancel it but it's impossible to get in touch with them.

We ordered flounder and shrimp dinners and thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter thought the mac and cheese was really cheesy pasta so, she wasn't a fan. The restaurant was clean and the employees provided excellent customer service.

Good food, place was empty but all the tables were dirty. Cleaned our own table. Food was hot and delicious. For around $30 2 can eat well.

I love this place & go each time I am in Charlotte area but am solely disappointed that they have changed menus removing their chicken salad pita sandwich & the Folly Beach shrimp pita. Hope they do not get rid of the original pita burger as it was excellent as always.

Going here was a good overall experience. The food was good and the staff was friendly. I had the hamburger on a pita with fries. The food portion was excellent and maybe even a bit too much. I will certainly be willing to eat here again.

The food and service was good. We got everything pretty quickly,our order was fresh and accurate. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is a because nothing separated it from any other Greek/Mediterranean restaurant I've been to.

I love this place. Good food fast! Everything i try at showmars is a hit! They have the best sweet tea anywhere I have tried and the staff for the most part is friendly. There are some women at this location that are down right unfriendly but I don't let that take away from the food. My favorites are the veggie gyro and fish sandwich and any of their salads and I love their French fries. They only thing i have tried and couldn't eat was the chicken salad on pita. It tasted like it was full of mayo and nothing else. But I did eat the yummy fries. I like that you can choose between white and wheat pita and fries or fruit or salad with your combo. This is my go to for lunch and a sweet treat.

Fast casual chain with a couple of Greek themed dishes added to a prety standard menu. Happened to be out of a couple of items, including a promoted special. Everything seemed fresh except onion rings. Gyro was underseasoned. Tzatziki sauce was kind of bland. Reasonably priced.
