Hands down the Greek salad to me is the most awesome. And this time I got the shell in which I haven’t had in years. Great. Quite tasty. As doing my review I did see something that another person stated and I didn’t realize it until today. Why is it only the positive reviews get any feedback. I mean granted this review started as positive. But I kept scrolling and sure enough I don’t see feedback for reviews that are not favorable to the experience. My salad is great. Look at it. But I would like to see feedback on all reviews in the sense of fixing the bad issues.

Showmars is always good ,I took my granddaughter there after she had a pretty rough day. Sorry I forgot the pictures I will do better.

Starting going here when i was young, and it was still just as good as back then over a decade later!

I usually go to the University location, but I stopped here because I was hungry. Ordered the chicken salad scoop. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! It was also less crowded than the university location while I was there, which I liked.

Had a really disappointing visit to Showmars tonight as I've loved this chain for over 20 years - still remember eating the burgers on pita when I was in high school. Brought my two kids in (three years and seven months) along with the wife and we ordered our dinner - everything was going fine until my wife bit into an onion ring and pulled out a piece of metal that looked like a staple. We were obviously unhappy but glad it was an adult and not one of the kids. I went to the front to tell the manager and his response was "are you guys OK? Are you hurt?" to which I said "No we're not hurt" and he looked at the metal thing and said "Yeah, it looks like this is a piece of the fryer basket. This has never happened before." Then we just kind of stared at each other for a few seconds before I said "OK well probably should take that basket out of the rotation." A few more seconds of staring and I awkwardly went back to my table. The VERY nice older lady who was cleaning tables asked if the manager had done anything and when I responded no, she rolled her eyes and said "if you ask him, I bet he'll give you a refund." I shouldn't need to ask for a refund (or hey, I worked in the service industry for years, offer me a free dessert or SOMETHING!) but I also should have gotten more of an apology and another check-in from the manager but he stayed away from us the rest of the time we sat in there. Anyway, we won't be back which is a shame because I really like Showmars and this location is by our house. Guess we'll hit the one on 7th Street. Bite carefully at this location, friends.

We came on Saturday (6/1) for a late lunchtime. This is one of the best Showmars I’ve been to. Very clean, great food, but the Team; Incredible. Friendly, fun and very patient. Quality Fresh ingredients. Thank you for a quick, delicious meal during our lunch break!!

Employees are always nice, food is as expected, extra items that are asked for such as sauces are always in bag. This is a huge deal to me because sometimes I'm super hungry and in a rush so I don't want to have to pick apart the entire bag to make sure the order is correct, great job Eastway Showmars. The new Landscaping Crew has outdone themselves this year. If you haven't swung by this location on your way home from work choose this spot, you won't be disappointed with service, food or atmosphere

Stephanie was very attentive and helpful. She truly changed the dynamics of my overall experience. Initially I was unsatisfied with the customer service provided by my cashier. A young non attentive employee.

Even though they were slammed when I went there last, the food and service was great. Great consistency of product.

Great bacon egg cheese pita! Cheap - like $6 bucks cheap. My friend got the home fries and they smelled delicious - onions and potatoes in those bad boys. I'd hit it again if I could. Visiting from FL. Restaurant inside could be more up to date as it took me back to 1990, but great food and the woman that took our order was very friendly.

It's funny I gave the atmosphere of four. But having the place clean in that area was impressive. I had the fish sandwich. It actually was great.

Terrible, terrible service at this location. Also you will notice showmars only replies to good reviews on here. They don't care about improving in the areas they are lacking in. Plenty of other restaurants to go to in the Charlotte area with the same foods as here. Please don't waste your time.

I went there tonight, and the fish, and the fries suck the fish was dried out and the fries tasted old I will not go back there again.

The white girl that waited on acted like she didn’t know what a military discount was and pretended to go get here manager and walked back and said he was gone the food we ordered looked old as hell the fish looked as if it was cooked yesterday the grilled squash taste like it been left out in grease over night and the okra just old . The old black lady yelled my name and stood behind the register wit my order another girl had to take it from her and bring it to me just a showcase of poor service . this is ridiculous how horrible you get treated spending your money in Charlotte

This location is awful. I ordered online, paid for and everything, I come into the store and the lady chilling at the register told me to come up. I told her I have a mobile order. She asked my name and I told her. She was like oh sorry I don't see that name on there. I showed her the name on my phone with the order up and she said she still didn't see it. Then a few seconds later she must have scrolled on her screen and she was like oh here it is ... mind you I put this order in 15 minutes prior. Then I said to her what do I do about the drink I was suppose to get, she says you didn't order a drink, I took a deep breath and said yes I did and I already paid for it, I was firm but calm and I said, do you want me to show you again, and she said calm down - first of all I was calm second of all this lady clearly never got taught how to read or have common sense. She finally said I am going to get it your drink hold on. They need to teach their employees how to read otherwise maybe this isn't a fit job for them. Or teach them better customer service skills. Waste of my time. Seriously forget the food. Find better employees Showmars otherwise you will loose good customers.

For some reason I like this one better than the one on North Tryon.. They're both good but the fish and shrimp at this one keeps me coming back.

CHECK YOUR TAKE OUT!!!! I eat here fairly often, and 4/5 times I order, it's wrong. Today I got a Greek salad with chicken. The chicken is good, but there are no cucumbers on the salad. I asked for extra pita sauce, got none. The salad dressing was in the bag but the lids hadn't been properly put on the containers so it's all in the bottom of the bag, all over the box, and soaked into the napkins. Luckily I have dressing at home, but what a mess!

Went to a different restaurant before I came here but left due to bad service. Glad the service here was much better, thank you! Looking forward to my first time trying Showmars.

I grew up in Charlotte and have eaten a lot of Showmars. It continues to be one of the gotos for my family. We normally drive right past the Eastway location and head for 7th street. Food just isn’t as a good as other locations, burgers over cooked, pita you could use as a frisbee. The service here is consistently bad, incorrect/missing items, staff seems like they’d rather be anywhere but there. “Surly” would be a good word - great if you’re dealing with pirates, bad when you’re just trying to get a meal. We occasionally give this location a chance to check in, since it’s right down the street from us and it never really improves.

I got a salmon grreek salad. It look like they threw the salad together. The salmon didn’t have no taste to, they didn’t give me no tzatziki sauce with my pita bread.

This is my first time eating at this restaurant and I must say my mind was blown!!! Every item that I got from the menu was excellent!!! When I walk through the door they were super busy and I can see why, this place is great! The staff was super friendly felt like I knew them from college! THIS MY FAVORITE NEW RESTAURANT!

I normally give great reviews when they're due highly upset I know me I've been plant-based for 15 years I got the Beyond Burger and immediately my stomach dropped I know it was cooked in the wrong grease or with beef chicken or anything of that matter I know my body and I just think it's horrible that some people don't take it serious I got sick immediately highly upset I wont eat at that one again

I'm at the Showmars on Eastway, I ordered a flounder and shrimp dinner, when I went to pay the machine charge a tip to my card WOTHOUT MY PERMISSION, THE MALE MANAGER DID NOTHINGGGGG TO MAKE IT RIGHT AND BASICALLY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING HE CAN DO......I ADVICE ANY AND EVERYONE NOT TO COME HERE THEY SNEEKILY, AND SECRETLY CHARGE YOUR CARD WITH YOUR KNOWLEDGE!!!!!! I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN.... VERY POOR MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I placed my order online and and asked my husband to pick it up for me, they didn’t give him the drinks. They should double check if the order is complete before hand it out to the costumer. Then when we were eating I started eating my fruit cup and realized one of the grapes had mold, unfortunately my 2 year old had already finished eating her fruit. Hopefully her fruit didn’t have mold. I spent over $30 for moldy fruit and missing items 😒

I ordered the grilled chicken gyro with fries. The gyro had more lettuce than I liked but other than that everything else was great.

Ordered online but unfortunately they don’t have many options for customizing online, so ended up paying for a side of chicken $6 to replace the lamb I didn’t want in my gyro, which made my meal close to $20 for a gyro, side salad and a drink.

Everything about my husband and I meal was horrible. The food was definitely under cooked...the fish and onion rings was soggy, the hush puppies was hard. And the slaw and tar tar came in the form of a soup. Worst $45 we ever spent. Showman's Eastway Dr. has surely seen the the last of the Colvin's!!!

Terrible i wish i would keep the pictures I’m not even joking. Staff disrespectful. Normally they are good. That day was terrible charging us for stuff we didn’t ask for made a corporate complaint still haven’t heard from anyone. Heads up if you see kids working there Run as fast as you can complete disaster

My food wasn’t fresh. “Famous fish sandwich” was dry. Young lady working the front said NOTHING to me as I walked in nor did she say anything to mess she handed me my food. Only thing I enjoyed was the sweet tea.

The reason why I gave a 3 star is because I gor cold fries and my order was wrong. Cashier did seem distracted because she was training what seemed to be a new cashier. The young lady on the floor did a good job replacing my fries. I ate my sandwich even though it wasn't what I ordered. They seemed short staffed. I don't usually frequent this Shomars so I don't know how things usually are. My favorite Shomars is the one on Little Rock Rd or the one in Kannapolis NC

Walked in, a man with a disability was handed his bag of food with a drink. The lid wasn't on tight so the tea spilled on him and his bag of food. BOTH cashiers did NOTHING. He was trying to limp and walk to the trash. I asked could they help him. They put the food in a new bag I STILL had to get him napkins to clean himself up. It was such a lack of care. Now for the food....all American pita on cold tough pita bread. Cherry on top! One of the young girls from the front was sweeping and came and laid the broom in the empty seat at my table....if I could give this store a zero I would
