My husband, children and I eat at NYPD at least 1x a week. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and professional. Anytime we have family visiting we always bring them to NYPD and they love it. They always request coming back every time they return. We will always recommend your #1 pizza in Navarre!!! 🍕

We have been here numerous times and the food and service is always spot on!!! Even on busy Friday nights Shannon is always the best and takes care of us!!

I would have given them a much higher rating had they not rushed us out. They close at 9. We arrived 820. The restaurant was quite crowded. We ordered right away (1 calzone & 1 meatball sandwich). Meatball sandwich came out pretty quick. Calzone arrived at 850. Just started eating and the waitress came over saying she needed to take the cheese shaker. We asked for refills she told us they shut down the soda machine already. Clearly dessert was out of the question (although we would have loved to try the zeppolis). They were sweeping around us. If the restaurant wasn't willing to complete a full dinner service they should have never seated us This was a very uncomfortable dinner service.

We are on family Vacation, we called due to 2 of our 5 kids under 14 years have celiac disease and lactose allergy. They said over call they could accommodate. State no wait once we got in we asked for a booth they said the waitress for all the both couldn’t help us bc not their then, this seems odd what business wants to lose money because of this excuse. We have two children under 5 so we ask for booth when we go out for this reason due to we can keep the kids inside the booth and not having them wanting to get out and walk around the entire time also, I am a disabled veteran who has some medical issues and the cushion on the booth are more comfortable then chairs. Once we said I guess no one wanted a good tip we left to load our kids up to go somewhere else, I went back in to ask for a manager phone number and or owners, I was asked why I said due to we own our own business back home and this excuse was no reason not to serve a family or anyone, then they state after talking that it was due to the booth could only fit 4 people only and it a fire code issue. So the story then changed, I then left the owner a voicemail at least that what I was told with the number I got from the restaurant with no call back assuming it correct number then maybe owner don’t care neither or just busy. Either way I guess one less place to go while we take Multiple trips to this area. Update due to owners response: Curious of why the host didn’t say fire hazard at first, a host should have known this then, those booth could easy fit 7 of us when your talking two parents and 5 kids at the age of 14,13,12,5,2 I eat out a lot in Florida when we come multiple times a year and this is the first time of this issue with booth sitting, as a person who has worked in all type of jobs to include waitress and now owning my own business the story changed multiple times, that is odd but again I’ll take my money else where. Thanks

My kind of place! Been several times and have had pizza to pasta. All great. Stop in and try them out. I know we’ll be back in the future!

Stopped in based on a recommendation from a good friend! Walked in and it smelled delicious. We had a group of 6. There was a group of 6 seated who had received their check shortly after we arrived. The hostess said since that table received their check that party be leaving soon. However, they chose to stay and associate with one another! Rightly so! We has asked to have two tables put together. (There were two booths and three tables empty. There were servers standing at the end of the bar.) The hostess said the servers said no. We asked if we could just sit at two separate tables. The hostess said the server didn’t want to do that. We waited al lil longer. That one table that would sit 6 was still enjoying each other’s company. Which was great. Thats why we eat out! So we asked if we could just order now and when the table came open we wouldn’t have to wait longer. We were told if you order but didn’t have a table we would have to take it to go! It seemed obvious they were not willing to accommodate us, so we opted to go somewhere else which is a shame because we received great reviews and this place came highly recommended.

It's a loud fun place to take big families and the pizza is so so good

Very good NY style pizza. Perfectly sweet sauce, big folding slices. Toppings were great. Personally, I prefer just cheese to really taste the pizza and let the true colors shine, but being overruled by my family, we got multiple toppings, but that didn't take away from the pizza. Was very good and perfect if you live in Navarre or if you're on vacation there and need a break from the daily seafood.

We went with a group on Monday. Only had to wait a few minutes for a table. The service was great and the food was delicious. We had two pizzas - kickin' chicken and pepperoni. The cheese was stringy and melted, and the flavors were on point. We hadn't had the chicken, and I think my husband and I liked it more than the standard pepperoni. I love the crust. It's a must try when in Navarre.

If extra cheese isn't enough, you can order triple cheese and they take the request very seriously. The staff is friendly and fun. Just wish it was open later

Just moved here and thought we'd try this spot out since alot of residents say it is great. I've had great new york style pizzas this is not the place. Waitress actually told me that nothing was made in house other than the assembling of your food with previously frozen everything. The service was good and it's a nice looking place, just couldn't get on board to come again.

Highly recommend. Great food and great service. Nice atmosphere too. Food was quick. We had cheese garlic bread and meatball appetizer. Both were spectacular! We also had a pepperoni pizza and a deluxe pizza. We really enjoyed our pizza and will be back whenever we are in Navarre!

Pizzas are massive. Well made and affordable. A 20" was enough for 2 people.

Food always excellent and delicious. Order Takeout and they said it would be 35 min. It took 1hour 15 min just for small pizza and sandwich. I notice dine in guest got there food 1st after I place Takeout order prior.

The pizza was top notch. I had the Bella's BBQ specialty pizza and really enjoyed it. My wife had the Greek pizza. The waitress was extremely helpful and kept our drinks filled.

We ordered online for pickup and was given 1 hour. Arrived and went inside and was told it would be just a minute. After 15 more minutes was told sorry we forgot one pizza. After another 15 minutes was told sorry we will give you a free desert. We are feeding 8 people LOL. So 1.6 hours later we got our order.

I called at 4.10 to place a pick up order and be ready at 6pm. They said I would have to prepay and they couldn't guarantee my food would be ready! Now if you call for a pick up you don't need to prepay. They said people sometimes don't come pick up their food. It's the same as calling in a pick up and they let you know how long. It's a shame I've been coming here since they open. Horrible Horrible customer service!!!!

You just can't miss here! The pizza is always good and fresh. There are lots of places to find pizza but this is our favorite. My family owned a pizza parlor in upstate NY and I'm picky!

Outside of NYC it’s pretty good, I enjoy taking my kids there. We always have left overs and the prices are pretty good.

Great place been here twice and I love the pizza! A very sweet lady bought mine and my sons dinner one night and whoever you are thank you and god bless you!

We came in with 9 of us. The server was fast, food fast. 9 people in and out with made to order pizza under an hour is impressive. Our first visit 6 months ago was bad, but they seemed understaffed then, this time way more staff and better overall. Will be back. Glad to see the improvement.

I think the pizza was delicious but..... It should be the New York ish Pizza district. I've eaten a lot of pizza in New York and a lot of New York style pie all over the country and this wasn't New York style. It's sorta of was.

I'm shocked that this restaurant didn't get better reviews than it did. We were first timers to Navarre this year, and we're pizza lovers so thought we'd try it out. I'm a huge fan of the New York style so it was right up my alley. We were in Navarre 8 nights and ate this pizza 3 times. We had the NYPD Club, Patti's Pesto, Margherita, and Cheese pizzas. All the times the pizza was exceptional. Perfectly crisp crust and great toppings. Although they all hit the mark for us, the Cheese was one I could eat every day. I have literally nothing negative to say. Staff was also very friendly. We enjoyed the Zeppoles with the chocolate sauce for dessert. Highly recommend for anyone that loves a good pizza.

Only thing was they didn't spread topping around I got the Margarita Pizza in a lot of the seasoning was all in one spot

One of my favorite places to eat to get artichoke and sausage pizza. They also have spinach and feta pizza.

Very tasty pizza (I had mushroom, red onion, and artichoke hearts) served with a smile in a casual rustic atmosphere. I enjoyed it very much

I waited 45 mins for my food and when I got the notification to pick it up and they gave it to the wrong person.

Really good garlic knots and pizza, meatballs were great too! Solid service, my only gripe is that the complete lack of noise suppressing design elements. All interior surfaces are hard and reflect noise like crazy, some ceiling mounted baffles would do wonders for the noise level here :)

Pizza and other food is pretty great. The atmosphere is not the greatest. The acoustics inside on a busy night are mind numbing. Service is what you would expect for hiring local youth. Pretty mediocre. I give the low rating for the absolute insane food prices. I got two 18” pies and a Stromboli. $77 dollars. That’s absolutely ludacris. I dont care if it's a beach town. the rent in NYC is higher, pizza is better, and cheaper. I think Im done with this place on the upchage of a simple pie.

The pizza used to be Top Notch...not anymore...not worth the drive to Navarre; hopefully, they straighten out and make a comeback!!

Best pizza in town. Took a gamble with something new, the gyro pizza, and it was great. Crust is fantastic and cooked perfect.

Excellent Pizza! Visited Navarre in 2021 and in 2023. Both times we went to NY Pizza District. (They changed locations from our first visit). Pizza was excellent and we went back at least twice during our stay in Navarre. The alfredo pizza was excellent!! Atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Wish they had a location in St. Louis! Would return to Navarre just for this pizza lol! :)

Today my mother and I had dinner here, and as usual the food was excellent, the best part of our visit though, was meeting our server, Xander! What a joy he was! This young man made our whole week! Thank you Xander. We will pay your kindness forward. See you soon!

Good food but take out service is terrible. It's taken over 2 hours previously to get a pizza for takeout before. This past time ordered takeout, and they said 30 minutes. Showed up about 35 mins later and wasn't ready. Waited around for almost 45 minutes before my order was ready. The real kicker was when I walked in, there was a large party that just got seated. They got their pizzas before my takeout order was ready, even with a 30+ minute lead time.

We always prefer to support local. And while the food is good, they are terrible at getting food out on time. We've ordered for pickup multiple times, and it always takes far longer than what they say it will take. One time, we waited 2 hours for them to finish making 1 pizza. Another time, it said it would be ready in 30 min. We show up to pick it up at that time and then waited an additional 40 minutes. The worst part is that people came in after we arrived for our pickup, got seated, ordered, and got their pizza 30 minutes before we got our pre-ordered pizza. Sorry to say, but we won't be ordering from them again.

Little loud but over all good $$

Usually the food is pretty good but the last couple times it didn’t seem as if they cared for being at work that day. My pizza had basically charcoal stuck to the bottom of it and u can tell it got smashed against the oven. and it was large chunks. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

Took some family that was visiting here and they loved it! This is one of my wives and mine favorite places to eat. The food is always great, no matter if you get a salad, pizza or calzone. Try this place you won't be disappointed.

10” NYPD Club 🍕 $15 after taxes. Very good size cheat meal for one person. 14” Stuffed 🍕and Chicken Parmigiana $53 after taxes. Definitely more than enough for 2 people. Fire, bussin, gas. One of the best pizzas I ever had. Also outside they have a nice waiting area with Jenga! Unsuspectingly romantic on Valentine’s Day.

Of course, we had pizza! The crust is one of the best I have ever had, thin! The sauce has a great flavor, and the toppings are how you want them! Mine could have had the toppings spread outwards more, but not much of an issue! Give it a try if you are in the area!!

I returned to NYPD and ordered the Margherita pizza with anchovies and to be honest it was nothing like the same pizza we had about 5 months ago. I am guessing that the management or pizza chef has changed. I was really looking forward to the pizza. My previous review is below. You can see the difference. The picture posted is from the visit 5 months ago. Previous review: I really liked this place. Pizzas are great. Had the Margherita with anchovies and it was really good. The beer was only $7 per pitcher during happy hour. This was my first time here. I will be back.

A local gem. Great service, delicious pizza. Dine in or take out. Try the meatball and pepperoni, our personal favorite. And the crust is among the best you'll find anywhere. Enjoy!

This place is great! We enjoy watching the dough being thrown in the air. The atmosphere is nice and a perfect NY pizza feel. The staff have always been very nice.

This is our "local" go-to spot. Family friendly, yet, fantastic food options for all and a variety of quality drinks for the adults! Friendly staff, everyone is human and has their off days now and again, they are willing to make something different or off-menu!

First time visit. I'm definitely returning in the future. Very good pizza 🍕! Small and quaint but bold in flavor. And it's a little off the beaten path. But definitely a diamond in the ruff. A must visit from Great pizza.

I have never been disappointed here. The food is always delicious and freshly made. I typically order online take-out and the quality and service is just as good as dinning in. Best pizza and Stromboli in Navarre by far.

Simple they're the best game in town

I’ve ordered pizza for pickup three times from this place, and unfortunately, I’ve encountered significant issues with their online ordering system on two occasions. The first time, my order through the app didn’t go through, which I only realized after arriving to pick up a pizza that wasn’t prepared. This resulted in a long, unexpected wait as I had to order again in-store. Most recently, on December 1, 2023, an order with an estimated wait time of 65 minutes ended up taking an hour and 40 minutes. The manager attributed this delay to an “unexpected order” and offered a 25% discount, which was appreciated but didn’t fully compensate for the inconvenience. This delay disrupted my tight schedule at home. It’s crucial for the business to improve their online service and perhaps provide additional training for the management team on this system. While the food quality has been excellent, the online ordering experience has been disappointing and needs attention.

I guess this restaurant makes too much money…can’t order online, can’t order over the phone…was told (over the phone) that I “have to come in and order a takeout”…really not understanding this.

Love this place. Food tasted amazing. The Alfredo pizza is delicious. Side note: tastes great, however both times my husband and I got a stomach ache. IDK why.

Nice pizzeria that has great food without charging an arm and a leg. Very reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly too. We've been here before and we will definitely be back!!

EDIT: I am not sure what has happened to this place over the last year but man have I been disappointed in the food the last 7 to 8 times I have been. Also the cleanliness is not being kept up, the windows are filthy, there is a electric flyswatter being kept at the bar for all the flys, food on the floor, and not to mention receiving a dirty plate. We went three nights ago and I got the wings and we ordered a pizza, the wings were disgusting!! They tastes like they thawed the wings in a dirty sink with water before cooking them, they were wrinkled and soggy on the outside and rubbery in texture, they also changed the dressing you get with them and you get less now. The crust on the pizza was not cooked all the way either. I do not typically write bad reviews but I am hoping the owner sees this and makes a dramatic change to whatever they are allowing to go on. It almost feels like there is no real management anymore which is ashame because we loved coming to this restaurant in the past and were regulars but I feel the time has come where we need to take our business somewhere else. Original Post: This is the BEST pizza anywhere around! Oh yeah lets not forget the service is always on point as well. This is the happening pizza place all week and definitely on the weekends so I suggest getting their early. Their wings are also delicious!

NY STYLE PIZZA???? Ummmm no!!! Pizza was not good couldn’t eat it!! The tiramisu was actually almost edible although I opted to save my stomach and just not eat it after the first bite! Totally not worth the price of five dollars for something the size of half of my palm!! Our server, Ian, on the other hand was absolutely amazing and so wonderful he needs a raise!!

Over the years we found the PIZZA is the top food! Never the small but atleast the medium or bigger! They just come out better! Salads are huge! Place can be a little loud and noisy! We prefer LUPPER time over lunch or dinner times! We have found that the pizza pie is one of if not the best in Santa Rosa County! But again go with the bigger pizza pies! Oh yeah make sure you get some hot garlic knots and hot cinnamon sugar powdered ZEPPOLEIS!

Stuffed Pizza was great! My Girlfriend and I ordered the pizza for pick up. When we got there we noticed the restaurant wasn’t busy so we asked if we could just eat there. This must be a real issue at this restaurant because you woulda thought we were asking for free Pizza or something!?!? We were turned away and I made the statement that we would be getting drinks which would require a waitress and more money for the establishment not to mention a tip for the waitress. The Gentleman was very firm on this rule. I can see why a rule like this would be in place when the restaurant is actually busy. Just really threw me off as to how you turn a customer away when they are willing to spend more money? Guess this place must do so well they could care less if you return. 1star for atmosphere since I didn’t experience it.

If your heading East from Tiger Point and you want good pizza it’s a must!

If you want New York style pizza in the fort Worth area this is a place. We went twice while we were down there and it was delicious both times. The garlic rolls were heavenly! And the service was great, especially Ian, he was super sweet and on top of it!

We're on vacation from Memphis in this place was absolutely amazing the ravioli was wonderful!

I absolutely love NYPD. Where else can you get two large slices of pizza for $4.99?! Great food, great service and they did a fantastic job with the aesthetics of the building. Wish we had one in Gulb Breeze! (hint, hint)

I’m a New Yorker, and I appreciated the atmosphere of this place. Feels like NY! The pizza was good, the crust was like good NY dough, but the pizza as a whole is not what I would consider authentic NY pizza. We got the Bianca white pizza and the Margherita, and garlic Parmesan wings. I hate to say it, but everything lacked some flavor. True NY Margherita pizza has lots of marinara, sliced fresh mozzarella, lots of garlic and basil. This one is basically a cheese pizza with diced tomatoes and a little basil on top. No marinara, just pizza sauce. It was ok, but not the Margherita I miss! The white pizza was good, but def. could have used more garlic and ricotta. The wings were cooked well, but surprisingly lacked flavor. We covered them in parmesan. As far as pizza goes in the area, it was better than most. The crust was great and the ingredients were good, it just wasn’t the authentic NY pizza I was hoping for! I’m leaving this review because I hope my feedback is valued and I really want to come back and love this place! We will order something different next time and see how it goes. The service was excellent :)

We, 4 of us, shared a dinner salad and the Tuesday specials. BOGO 14" pizza and a pitcher of beer. Hands down best brick oven cooked pizza, coldest beer and largest salad. And AWESOME waitress 😀.

We've been getting our pizza from NYPD since we moved here (from NY) 9 yrs ago. We did try 2 or 3 other places, one time each, but that was a waste of money cuz no other pizza place even comes close to NYPD pizza. It's consistently good, always delicious, and never greasy. It definitely tastes like real NY pizza that we used to get in NY. We also like that they are now a bit closer to us since they moved & have a larger eat-in space. Love this place❣️
