I have been going to Sal's since he opened this restaurant in Navarre. I have never been disappointed The staff makes you feel very comfortable and all of the staff are friendly. Cooks make my food exactly as I like it.

Their phones didn't work so I couldn't call in a takeaway order, but I went in person and walked out with 2 apps, 2 pizzas, and a drink in under 20mins. Great service, they were apologetic about the phones and were very professional. The pizza was pretty decent, I'd probably return for more.

The pizza was great but the crust is fantastic. And the service made the dining remember.

This place used to be amazing. But their ingredients have changed and sadly isn't as good anymore. Some of the wait staff have animosity towards eachother-I dont like that at all save it for the parking lot not infront of our table. My family and I have been coming here for years. The nostalgia is unreal. But I wish the food was the same and some of the wait staff weren't so rude to eachother.

I had a great first trip to Sals today for lunch. Ordered the ham and ricotta calzone with a side salad and unsweetened tea. Everything was delicious! Service was great as well. Will definitely be back to try other items from the menu!

My husband and myself had such a wonderful time at Sals. Our waiter Gage was phenomenal, very courteous and professional. We will ask for him the next time we go. The veal parm was spot on and the chicken Cesar salad was delicious. Sal's did not disappoint.

From Louisiana and this place was recommended to us. Food and waitress was amazing.

Pizza is my favorite food and I'm always looking for a new pizza to try. And I can say from Pensacola to Fort Walton Sals is the best. Always generous with their topping and crispy crust is truly crispy. Another thing, respect any restaurant where the owner seems to always be there as Sal has been there every time my wife and I stop in. Can't recommend highly enough.

This is a true pizzeria. It feels like a family-run, local spot. They had great pizza & wings. I was blown away by the tomatoes on the Margherita pizza- they tasted like they were straight from the garden. This said to me that they actually care about their ingredients. Our server was great. Highly recommend this place

Price of a small bowl of spaghetti is ridiculous

Idk if we went on an off night but the food was aweful the jalapeños tasted jarred the fries tasted freezer burnt the cheese on the pizza tasted bitter my husband said MRE s taste better then the pizza the sub was filled with flavorless cheese we both left feeling nauseous the pizza cheese was peeling from the crust the pizza was so greasy a sub and personal pizza we had to wait 40 min and they were super slow a few at the bar and 3 tables in the place

We love this restaurant. The food is always very good, and the family atmosphere reminds me of Italian dinners at my Grandmother’s. Last week, we had Jameson as our server. He was attentive, but not overly so. He was also quite funny. It’s not a fancy place, but very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend! (Price spent per person includes adult beverages)

Stick with pizza or some type of roll. Stay away from subs.

The Pepperoni calzone and Shhrimp Alfredo were fantastic! Jameson was our waiter he did a great Job!!

Food was good but I will never recommend this business solely based on my first encounter eating here. Me and my co-worker stopped there as I was highly recommended this place. We sat down and my co-worker, who brought his own lunch, let the waitress know immediately and she did not tell us that he couldn’t have it so he chose to eat it after we leave. When I get my pizza, the manager/owner or whoever the lady brings me the pizza in a to go bag, drops it on the table and tells me I can take the pizza and eat it elsewhere as my co-worker brought his own lunch. Now, I ask for clarification as he did not want to be nuisance and was not eating his food out of respect for the business because they did not clarify and would rather be confrontational instead of just setting expectations on the spot. She continued to argue as I explained I was planning on eating here and did not appreciate the hostility over something so simple, and I get it, it’s a business and they want to make money. She just kept smiling creepily like she one upped me, just a super bizarre situation so I paid and left. I’d highly recommend the owners/managers to air any issues they have because ultimately I’m never recommending your business. I’ve legit never ran into any restaurant and had such a bizarre encounter and I work in a B2B role where I work in this vertical and understand the etiquette for outside food/drinks.

I was there for an early dinner. I got a sub and fries . All I could taste on the sub was lettuce , tomatoes and onion. Very thin slice of meat. I didn't not even taste it. Next time I will read to see what is supposed to be on what I order at any restaurant. And not to mention $24 for no more then I got for one person. Kinda pricey.

Had calamari while waiting for Togo order. Just delicious! Red sauce is so savory and fresh tasting! The calamari was crispy and delicately breaded and fried. Simple and tasty. Pizzas were made as ordered and confirmed in delivery to table. Crispy chewy crusts and savory toppings. Really really great— way better than big chains. And soooo big! Everything was great—one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long while!

Sal and maria 🫶🏽aglio li o , bellisimo. Family owned. The restaurant is so clean, they care about their business.

It’s nice to have a good Italian restaurant down the street from my house! ! Good spaghetti with delicious meat sauce and meatballs ! Their chicken Alfredo pasta dinner is delicious too but wished it had broccoli with it too. Good garlic bread .

I had a good time at Sal’s Pizzeria. The crust was the best aspect of the pizza. It was not the best pizza I’ve had, but it is far from the worst.

Sals was a great place had some amazing pizza. We came in super late at 8:30 and they still served us beyond 9pm. They also have the most excellent waiter i’ve personally ever had at a restaurant. If you get this young man just know he’s gonna be good.

This has become my favorite pizza place, Cory from vinylbros suggested and I can see why. The bread, sauce and toppings are amazing. Have had it 3 times already in last two weeks. Definitely quality and great service, can't say enough good things about Sal's.

Love the pizza and Husband loves the pepperoni roll. They need to offer spicy dipping oil which would make it perfect

I tried this place a few weeks ago, when I was in town for work, and loved it. Wonderful service, yummy food and quick. Looking forward to going here again!

At first when i arrived i was greeted very kindly but as i sat down i realized something was a little off, but i couldn’t quite pin point what it was. Upon my foods arrival the worry in the back of my mind ceased. But after about my 3rd or 4th slice of pizza the worry started to set it again, but i wasn’t sure if it was fret, or just the delicious pepperoni pizza. i figured, okay i’ve had enough i’ll just ask for my check and see myself out. so i paid and awaited my receipt, but something was different about this receipt. there was some cryptic informant message. so i went on google translate and typed in what seemed to russian text. the text spelt out, “the back awaits your greetings”, hesitant i looked around, trying to reassure myself that this must be some kind of mistake. But sure enough there stood my waiter gesturing to me to hurry over.i was confused but i was sure it couldn’t be anything bad, just a mistake on my order or something. but two men in coats and masks came out from behind the waiter and ushered me into the back. it wasn’t violent or anything just surprising and confusing. once in the back what i saw still makes me wonder if i was dreaming or not. in the back there was some type of monkey or primate, it was running on a treadmill. the primate seemed to be somehow or someway keeping the lights or electricity going with his running powers. good pizza tho 5/5

The pizza was boring. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Margherita pizza. The Marg was like eating a basil salad. It was just not good. The pepperoni was fine, but nothing to write home about. If this is Navarre’s best, then Navarre doesn’t know pizza.

I'm a long time local here in navarre. Been to sals a handful of times in the past and was mildly satisfied. Not many Italian restaurants in navarre so me and my fiance decided to slide into sals again. This time around it was NOT a disappointment! The pizza was delightful! It was served piping hot with just the right amount of toppings but the crust underneath the whole pizza was slightly crunchy pairing so well with the melted cheese and topping of our choice. We got the margarita pizza. Every time I took a bite it made me smile from ear to ear. Thanks sals, felt like I was dining in a hole in the wall pizzeria and a big city.

I don't write too many reviews but this one deserves it. Been wanting to try this place as pizza is my favorite food by far. Having been well traveled, I've had great pizza and calzones at some of the best joints in and out of America. But this place....I don't think I've ever been to a place where I couldn't even finish my food. Calzone cheese should not be gritty and have the texture of bubblegum that has been long over chewed. The "meat" on the pizza looked and tasted like it was something Bill Gates is trying to push. I'm fairly certain they didn't even cook the peppers with the pizza and just tossed some chopped up peppers on top. When your Italian exchange student is put off by the pizza, there might be a problem, especially given the fact she is okay with literally every other pizza joint in town. If they are trying to resemble Italian, they failed. If they are trying to resemble NY pizza, maybe those $1 pizzas found on the every corner. This wasn't just the worst Italian I've had around here, but the worst food I've had around here. Not sure the appeal, but then again, given the lack of choices in Navarre for good food, people tend to settle for mediocre.

Long time ago I went it was so awful I never tried it a second time. Eggplant was disappointing. The location I believe has played a part of their longevity nothing close by to compete.

Everything was excellent, Cannolis are a must try!

Severely undercooked Supreeme pizza to go. Cooked it 10 more minutes the next morning until the crust was cooked and it was very good. It's too bad. They have good pizza apparently but cook it with plan to reheat it for slices.

Went to Sal’s for lunch. First visit in about 7 years. We are always looking for good pizza and Italian without having to drive to Pensacola. Sal’s did not disappoint. The pizza was very good and had an outstanding crust. We also had a Greek salad which was very good with a homemade dressing. Lastly we had an order of spaghetti and meatballs to check out the pasta dishes. The meatballs were good but the sauce was totally nondescript. Go to Sal’s for some really good pizza!

My wife and I tried Sals for the first time spur of the moment. We sat at the bar and chatted with Gio, who ends up being Sals son. We learned all about Sals pizzeria and how it got started which was an awsome experience to get to know. Gio proceeds to inform us that the pasta is made by hand and his mom makes the meatballs. As temping as it was we decided on the pizza. We have eaten a lot of different pizza in differnt areas and this just has something special, not too much sauce, not too much bread ,but perfectly balanced. Will definitely return and support this family ran and owned pizzeria. The bufflos wings also looked very good as well as the alfredo, Stromboli, and calzone. Too many choices for someone who loves to eat to choose.

Had a great experience other than we sat there for about 30 minutes waiting for a server. While those that came in behind us were being served. Got the impression that there was a little girl in there that didn't want to wait on our table and she didn't think she should have to.

Sal's Pizzeria, was very welcoming and sight for sore eyes... has been three years since I have eaten here. Was pleasantly surprised by the great food, excellant service, and friendly locals and neighbors enjoying there dinner with Sal's too. We were a party of 5 each with are own likes and dislikes... we are all in agreement the Sal's will be a welcoming addition to resturants we frequent. In closing, if decide to check out Sal's start with the Ceasar Salad... well worth every bite.

Food, service, and atmosphere were great! The host was friendly and sat us right away. Alice was very personable, attentive, and friendly throughout our dining experience. My pizza was delicious. The crust was crispy, and the toppings were fresh! 😋 We will definitely be back 😀 P.S. Sal, I will give you 10 stars if you add higher end wine to the menu 🍷 😉

Pricey for the amount of food you get calamari very expensive for the amount you get very disappointed 14.99 and this is the amount you get…. I guess in Brooklyn, NY I for sure get more then this … the pizza was ok not very much like traditional NY

I moved from NYC and so far this is the closest thing to NY pizza. Strongly recommend it!

No sauce on pizza. Greek salad but no Greek dressing. Just pay 25.00 for inedible pizza. Better off ordering cheese bread, bring home, add sauce and Turkey pepperoni. No sauces, no spices. Used to love it, now it is a zero. Order extra crispy- you still bring it home and cook it to make crispy. Regardless, it’s not edible.

We were served by Julie who made the experience awesome! Super nice and knowledgeable about the menu. She was funny and personable, she t was like talking to a friend. We order a pizza (1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 suprime) and the chicken parmigiana. Pizza was hot, cheese melted and crust was PERFECT! The chicken parmigiana was amazing!! The homemade marinara tasted great, chicken cooked perfect! Julie was attentive with the drink, beer was a big but perfect portion. Once finished with the meal she insisted to box our meal. Food was AMAZING and service was OUTSTANDING for these two reasons it will be our forever pizza spot!

Sal's is my go-to place for Italian. I haven't had anything I didn't like. It's a small place, but it has a nice, casual atmosphere inside. All the staff are always smiling and friendly, and their service is really good. I highly recommend Sal's if you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine.

Great local spot. The calzones and Stromboli are fantastic; stuffed dull and the crust is crispy on the outsideand fluffy in the middle. The calamari is perfectly breaded and crispy. Servers are friendly.

Sals is absolutely consistent with great service and amazing food. The wings remind me of the wings I would get in local dives back in New York, and the pizza…. Perfect amount of toppings, the crust is always perfectly golden and flakey, and just the right amount of crunch when you fold your slice. Can’t wait to order again!

We called in and ordered two pizzas. They were ready within 20 minutes and they actually called us to let us know they were ready and the food was delicious the members there were very polite and very welcoming and the restaurant is super cute inside!! Will be back for some fried ravioli!!

They have the BEST calzones I have ever had iny life and as a fat guy who has sought out pizza & calzones from New York to San Fran and Milwaukee/Chicago to Miami, I have eaten hundreds. They use fresh ricotta and the amount of toppings do not disappoint. The crust is super crunchy. I recommend eating them there or at least poking holes in your to go box for maximum crusty goodness. Honestly, they are even delicious cold the next day!

This place is incredible! They have perfected their pizza crust and everything tasted amazing.

The order came wrong the waitress forgot the appetizers we told her we didn’t wanted the appetizers with the dinner. Two tables that came 10 minutes after received their appetizers and food before we did. Food came over and no plates we had to ask for them. A definite never to come back here what a disappointment food is bland.

If I could give no stars we would. My husband and I have lived in area over 5 years, an tried Sals when we 1st moved here, an didn't like it, but thought we'd try it again yesterday. We orderd the fried cheese as appetizer. Then waiter came back to get our order an I asked for the Margherita pizza without the onions(I am very allergic to all onions), and I told the server I'm very allergic to onions, and he said its in the sauce, along with cilantro, an some other things. I asked if we could get it without that sauce an just use olive oil, and he went to ask an came back an said No, so we asked if we could get a cheese pizza with olive oil an no "pizza sauce", they call it. An artichokes, cheese, an fresh basil, He went to check, came back, an again said NO. We can't have tomatoes due to the acidity, so that means either nothing they make is fresh, and all premade, frozen, etc, or they don't care about people's allergies, an health issues. etc. Then we asked about the sauce that came with the mozzarella sticks, he went an checked, came back an said it has onions in it. As wed already eaten it!!! So they served me onions, when i told them at begining i am allergic!! We only like, an eat fresh food, an in this whole area, Navarre, GulfBreeze, an surrounding areas, and anywhere close, is hard to find restaurants that serve good fresh food. Italian is our favorite. Bella Lunas makes all their food fresh, so does DaMatteos(amazing), an NY pizza. So AGAIN SALS, have lost us forever this time!!! We go out to eat alot, an friends an family come to visit us often, an we go places an recommend places, and will not ever be going back to Sals, yuck!! An uncaring an uncomidatting restaurant!!

Absolutely AMAZING! Has the areas most picky 5 yr olds approval, she nearly ate half of large pizza alone! I'm born and raised in the area and never had pizza so good. Reminded my other half, he's from PA, of pizza up north. Telling ya, will not order pizza from anywhere else!
