Tried this place for the first time on Monday. I got a, Newk's Club Sandwich with a side Cobb Salad. My husband got a, Prime Dip Sandwich with a side of Potato Salad. We also tried a side of Pasta Salad. Everything was delicious, except for the pasta salad, which was too dry. We were so impressed, that we went back yesterday, and ordered 2 pizzas to takeout. The pizzas were also delicious! The only complaint I have is that a plain, cheese pizza is not offered. I wanted a pizza with just mushrooms and onions. You have to pay for a pizza with other toppings, and then remove the not wanted toppings and add what you want. To me, that doesn't seem right, to pay for toppings that you're going to remove when ordering. Other than that issue, everything was delicious, and we will be coming back here to eat often!!

Love this place for a quick lunch that isn't a burger and fries. ♥️

I just ate at Newk’s for the first time yesterday. The salads were fresh, bountiful and delicious. I was thrilled to see they have so many different salad options including a build your own option. This will be my new go-to restaurant.

Taking a dive. They got rid of the wonderful condiment bar. The serving size is getting smaller. Ingredients aren’t the same quality. It’s so sad to see our favorite decline like this. We asked. The employees said it’s a corporate thing.

Newkshas a great menu, but we specifically went for some salad. We love Newks and we need one in Navarre, FL.

Food is good like the other locations but every single table is disgustingly sticky. Wish we hadn’t already paid or we would’ve walked out! Then I found a hair in my food…

I drive for DoorDash and Uber. EVERYTIME I come in to pick up an order for a customer, the drink cups are empty. This restaurant expects me, a courier AND someone without a food handling license or training, to fill up customers drinks upon arrival. This is a huge food safety concern and this restaurant doesn’t seem to be doing their job in their end. At the end of the day, they’re paid to make customers orders and I’m paid to pick up and drop off customers orders.

Great lunch! Great service! Kids eat free on Monday and Tuesday! Can’t beat that the way things are right now.

I got lunch from here today and the food was pretty good.

The server was rude and disrespectful and was cleaning counters and then handling food without washing her hands. She basically slammed the food down and walked off. I thanked her and she just walked away.

Is really good, but they removed the pickle and garlic serving bar so it is just a basic sandwich place now.

How about putting more than the tiny soap dispenser in the womans bathroom( thats sitting on the sink).it has been there for a week, and doesn't pump out soap...you guys can't afford soap?

Our order wasn't correct but fixable. Restaurant was very chilly.

I left this rating a year ago and since then have ate there 3-4 more xs. Each time the food was ready quickly and delicious. I've tried sandwiches and have twice gotten their margherite pizza. This time I added chicken and both xs I added xtra cheese. The price is very reasonable as well.

Problem with the sewer. Bathrooms.

It's mediocre sandwiches half filled. My half sandwich was 3 inches long and the fruit bowl had 1 piece of soft watermelon, 4 blueberries and a handful of grapes. It was $10 with a drink. They market as fresh and healthy which is why it's so expensive.

The food was fresh and delicious!! Very clean place with many reasonable food options.

Overall good experience, fantastic fast service. I will say the restaurant wasn’t the cleanest on the inside. I got half a Cheesesteak and Macaroni and Cheese. The cheesesteak was pretty good, however, the Macaroni wasn’t the best I will mention though.

Great sandwiches, salads and soups. Our favorites were the ultimate salad with the chicken tortilla soup.

Ordered take out, food was brought out in a timely fashion. Chicken avocado half sandwich was a new deconstructed version that I didn't know was an option and the fruit cup side tasted like it sat out for a week or more. Dining area was dirty and it wasn't busy. You've fallen so far Newks 😔

Very kind staff and great manager. We arrived 5 minutes before closing due to us not knowing actual closing time. Despite it being so close to closing, they said they could make meals for us and even offered us to sit down to eat. We chose take-out. Ate the food back at Hotel and the three dishes we ordered were delicious and very filling.

My first time coming here with a friend. The service was kind and attentive. The food was really, really good! I got the philly cheesesteak with a side of Mac and it was bomb. The Mac and cheese was super cheesy, creamy and packed with flavor. The philly was pretty good. It even had a hint of sweetness, which I love.

Best pimento cheese sandwich I've ever had. And my mother used to have a secret recipe! Great Customer service!!! The girls here are always so friendly and welcoming! The staff is fantastic!

I mean all around just a rough experience. We ordered online for pickup which is fine. I walk in, nobody will talk to me and most employees are hiding far enough away from the counter so they can’t hear me. Food is below average. Probably won’t go back. Corporate should do some type of quality control. Employees didn’t seem to care. The register situation in this store also doesn’t make any sense. In addition there were only 2 tables sat for dinner at 7 P.M. on a Monday night so maybe I’m not the only one who isn’t crazy about this store.

Whoever they're getting their lettuce from is horrible. You pay 10 or $12 for a salad and the lettuce looks like it's 10 days old

I’m new to Pensacola, I’ve been to all the Newk locations in Jacksonville, FL and this is by far the cleanest and well put together Newks I’ve been to!

It's a cute place, don't get me wrong. But I had an avocado turkey sandwich, and something about it was absolutely FOUL I don't know if it was the tomato or avocado but it was downright awful. It tasted like acid. The Mac and cheese was okay, but it just tasted like plain Velveeta. Atmosphere is a ten, food leaves a lot to be desired. 😥😥😥 Also GOODNESS it was expensive for what you get. I'd say you're better off heading to Panera. The server was very nice.

C’ mom Newks, we didn’t drive across town to get two salads full of soggy, wilted brown lettuce strategically buried under otherwise tasty toppings. So disappointed. This was clearly sub-par, yet was served to us anyway. The soup was pretty good and Mac n cheese was tasty, but I doubt we will come back to this location

We ordered a kid pizza, some soup, and salad to go. When we arrived home and opened the pizza there were 2 slices missing. We called to ask what happened, and we were told "That's how we do it." Seems suspect. We won't order here again.

i normally really like eating at newks, but this time i decided to try something new and get the turkey avocado sandwich. there was 1 piece of lettuce, 1 1/2 piece of avocado, and no swiss cheese like it said it would.

We drove by and realized it had been a while since we been at Newk's so we decided to stop. I am not a fan of the stand in line and look at a board to order my food. That is my only complaint about the place and it's not even a complaint really. I had the Italian with a side of pasta salad. I also got a pepperoni pizza to take home. My oldest got the lobster bisque and my youngest got an order of mac and cheese. I am not sure why so much time had passed since we ate there but I am sure it won't be long before the next visit.

It was expensive.. and honestly it wasn’t good . We ended up leaving our food and going out to another place

Food is good but a much smaller version of what it was before. Service is lacking very much.

I ordered the cup of soup and the half sandwich. The bread is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Plenty of condiments. Lots of choices and you get your food quick.

The food and service is good, but the portions are far too small. Pizza has too much crust, despite tasting good.

The food was okay, didn't get to try what I would like, but for $16 a pizza soup and drink I felt was pricey. The staff was super friendly and the main downfall was the old lady patrons without patience, but that's out of their control.

If you're looking for something different this is good. Not something that was on the WOW factor. The cheese steak sandwich was alright but I've had better. My Broccoli and Cheddar soup was good. My son got the Shrimp PoBoy and I gave him my cheese steak instead. He also had the macaroni and cheese which wasn't good. He said the shrimp PoBoy had no flavor that he could only taste the tomato and lettuce. Sorry to say but we don't be coming back. For the price of $37 I was expecting much better. For this price we could've went across the street to Olive Garden and had better. We were trying to find something light and good for a good price. We didn't find it here unfortunately. The appearance was nice but the taste was lacking. Oh well. You won't know until you try it yourself. This just wasn't something that we would want to come back for again.

It's an enjoyable experience. It clean and professional and the food is good.

My wife and I wanted to try this out for about a year now and we finally did yesterday. Not impressed, small sandwiches and salads for fifty bucks. Not one to complain, just lesson learned. Staff is not very helpful and have to go find them if you need anything. Not sure how they stay in business honestly. Looks like maybe a lot of catering. Very disappointed we wasted fifty dollars at Newks.

Good. Changes a lot, some days I will get more for my dollar and some days ill get less when I order the same thing. It is a gamble, depending who’s working. Also, there are free crunchy breadstick things. Very cool. I have tried most things on the menu, so here is my least favorite and my favorite things in every category. Salad: The shrimp and avocado salad is not worth the money as the highest priced salad on the menu. Not enough to justify it, and the dressing is weird. The Southern salad is the greatest because it is the second cheapest salad on the menu and has a lump of chicken salad that tastes pretty okay. You can ask for an extra lump of chicken salad for about $3.50, which trumps all other additional additional proteins in price and grams of protein. Sandwiches: Chicken pesto is my least favorite. It wouldve been nicer if it wasn’t so dry. : ( The newks Q is pretty good. It has bacon, what more can I say? Pizzas: I’m not normally a fan of pizzas, but I especially disliked the BBQ chicken pizza. It was sweet. Why was the pizza sweet. No. The Mediterranean pizza is pretty good. It has a lot of stuff on it, but this seems to be most affected by whoever is working there at the time. Sometimes its full of the tasty stuff, other times its 80% olives. Hit or miss, but still yummy. Sides Soups: Their new cheese broccoli soup is not very good. Normally cheesey broccoli soup is pretty good, but this one was just mediocre at best. Very thick and very forgettable. The chicken tortilla soup has the most nutritional value in terms of protein, but the calories are pretty low. It is very fun to eat with sandwiches, it acts as a great compliment with good flavor and a bit of spiciness. Mac n cheeses: There are only two kinds of mac n cheeses: pimento and normal. I began eating here before pimento was added to the menu. Before then, just not too long ago, they would put their mac n cheese in these metal bowls, and it would always come out hot and the cheese would be all crispy on the sides. I don’t know why they got rid of this, but now it’s just plain bowls. The pimento sounds all fancy, but it really isn’t worth the extra money and calories. It is a let down. Its just a glorified plain mac n cheese with some bacon bits. Please make it fancier. Sides: This is relative. I cant rank sides. It depends on what you’re eating. Teas: Sorry, but I only ever drink sweet tea. Sweet tea is fine. Nothing to talk about here. They have a whole tub of splenda sweetened tea which is very thoughtful for those whose tummies do not like sugar. Additional proteins: I think it goes without saying that it is a horrible idea to buy a steak from a deli restaurant to put on your salad. Also, if you’re going to get additional shrimp, ask for it hot. Unless you like your shrimp cold, weirdo. The chicken sucks. Dry, and there’s barely any. Not worth the price at all! The salmon, although expensive, is honestly the tastiest option. You probably get more protein with this than anything else. Get the salmon. Desserts: I am not rating desserts because they make my tummy hurt. Thank you for reading my review. I hope this was helpful for your newks experience.

Great place for sandwiches, soups, salads, and pizza. They have a large variety on their menu so it's great for a family where everyone wants something different. Clean and spacious inside.

They messed up 2 of the 4 orders we made. The chicken tortilla soup was awesome. Their cheese steak was extremely bland. It definitely wasn't worth the $50 I paid.

My husband and I had soup and sandwiches and a salad to share on the side. I loved my tomato soup, it was delicious, my sandwich was yummy as well. It was just what we needed after having colds over Thanksgiving. I highly recommend

I was so excited to go back and get my favorite sandwich, Farmers Market. It is no longer on the menu. Went with the shrimp and avocado salad. Should have read it more clearly. All of the greens were arugula, which I like, but not ALL arugula. My husband wanted the salmon salad, but they were out of salmon. He went with the Mediterranean pizza. It was decent. Had come out of the oven messed up, so they brought it anyway and offered to make him another. That was nice and appreciated.

Very good food. A bit pricey but you get the money's worth of food.

We honestly had no idea what to expect from a place called Newks Eatery. It's a soup/salad/sandwich/pizza place. I can now tell you from experience it has superior soups and sandwiches. I will havevto rate the salads and pizza another time. Give it a try!

This is a great eatery. They strive for friendliness and service and have quality food. They have sugar free southern sweet tea! You get good reusable cups to take home too. Pizza crusts are a bit crispy but have really good taste.

The food is always great, with a lot of choices to pick from. My only recommendation is to put more meat on the sandwiches; I ordered a half ham & Swiss but there wasn't a lot of ham on it but it and the chili were good.

Waste of money! During inflation I refuse to spend my money like this. NOTHING had flavor and it was bland. It's like they didn't wanna offend anyone so they didn't use anything. Driest chicken ever. Overpriced, skimpy, small portions. The shrimp sandwich I had was inedible. The root beer didn't have the syrup in it and had to dump it out. The dr pepper tasted like coke. It was just awful. $30. What a waste of money. My first time here and my last.

The pepperoni pizza tastes like that of Chuck E cheese back in the days their pizzas had basil and Roma tomatoes, today the lobster bisk looks old taste old and not enough dressing in the chicken Caesar not even enough chicken Everything has changed at this restaurant and corporate is to blame according to management I don't know if it's true or not but the quality of service and food of this restaurant has gone down hill and wanting to give our business we think otherwise to go somewhere else. The employees look down and are not attentive to customers calling for assistance is crazy in itself. The service was amazing 👏 when Amber was here back in 2018,19,20.

Newk's rarely disappoints. Even when they are busy the food is fresh and delicious. There are a lot of choices when you have family or friends at Sacred Heart or shopping. This is a stop that's always consistent on good food, excellent service, and friendly staff. And most customers are friendly too (let's keep it that way folks). Mediterranean pizza and The Newks favorite salad. Yum Returned for the Newk's Q pizza. Great balance of jalapeno, bacon, and chicken. If you like a little spice, here's a good joice. Mediterranean pizza is always delicious too. Two pizzas with leftovers. For the win.

We LOVE this place!! Personal pizzas are excellent. Service is great & it's always clean. They have a lot of choices too..sandwiches, soups, salads, pizzas, etc. Plus, they give veterans a free drink! Try it -- you'll love it too!!!

First time here and my husband and I loved the food. We both got the Italian sub with the soup of the day (which was chicken and sausage gumbo) it was so tasty. We will definitely come back again!

I'm not sure which part of the visit bothered me the most. It was either the fact that my chicken caesar salad was totally drowned and dressing to the point I could hardly eat it or the bus boy with the sagging jeans showing everyone his red underwear. All in all I would have much rather have gone to Olive Garden

Started out across the street at Olive Garden where we were kindly greeted and seated by the hostess. Then... NOTHING. Noone came to say hello, kiss my bumpkiss, nothing. So we left and came here. In half the time it took us to Not get served across the street, we were greeted, order taken, paid the bill, seated and served here at Newks. Neither restaurant is busy. Thank you to the staff at Newks. PS Newks food was Awesome!

No one smiled. Not the cashier. Not the workers. They didn't act like they cared whether we walked in the door or not. Very disappointed. It has been a few years since I've been back home yo Pensacola and brought my grandsons here. I use to love this place and come here weekly because it was happy and friendly. Now, it's like nothing I ever visited. Covid has nothing to do with kindness. They are no longer kind.

We had the chicken pesto sandwich, chicken salad sandwich, and loaded potato soup. The food was made fresh while we waited. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was pleasant. Everything was delicious, as always.

Delicious food great atmosphere

This place has gone downhill in the last year, mostly likely due to a management change. They've replaced the enthusiastic college kids with older women who call everyone "honey" and "sweetie." On our last visit there were three dirty tables adjacent to us, and no one attempted to clean them. There was ice and water on the floor near the beverage station, and when I pointed that out to an employee, she put out a "wet floor" sign and disappeared. When we left 20 minutes later, the floor was still wet. A slip-and-fall lawsuit waiting to happen. Last week we were in the mood for Newk's and drove 45 minutes to the one in Spanish Fort, AL. No problems there.

Meh, it was ok. Wife ordered pepperoni pizza and was given a sausage pizza without any cheese. How do you forget to put cheese on a pizza? Had to go up to the counter myself to get her replacement one. My sons kids mac and cheese wasnt hot, shredded cheese in wasnt even melted.

Friendly service with fresh food. We did the grab and go salads and ate outside and it was very pleasant.

First time here. Saw the internet add and ask my wife if she had ate there? Her work orders fro there and she said it was good. So we ordered two Q’s and Mac to go. I also picked up a whole red velvet cake for her birthday (stay tuned for that update). I can see this becoming a quick, delicious, evening meal.

Restaurant is great but this review is a special shout out to Dasia! She handle herself very well when a patron was being annoying irate over a minor inconvenience. I’ve never seen a younger associate handle themselves so well and the situation so promptly. I’ve worked customer service as a manager for 15 years and I want her on my team! Watch out Newk’s!

One of my favorite places to go with friends. Everything is always fresh and colorful. Always delicious! Today, I had the Turkey Avocado Sandwich, which did not disappoint, and the Spinach-Feta Soup, which was unique and different.

Food was great as usual. I think that there thermostat must have been broken. It was about 60 degrees or colder in the restaurant and the employees were all wearing jackets. Ridiculous. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Great place to eat. Not fastfood but, you get your meal pretty quick. Sandwiches and salads are fresh and fantastic. I never had the pizza but heard they were good. I would definitely recommend this place.
