A relatively new addition to Flagler Beach; outstanding. Beautiful contemporary decor, impressive eclectic menu with something for everyone. Fabulous mushroom soup, salad, truffle fries and pan fried salmon. Do you really think I forgot to have dessert...creme Brule with berries and fresh whipped cream 😋. All served by a wonderful gal, Beth along with many suggestions.

A great place for a birthday celebration with your golf girls. Food and service were EXCELLENT. Our new go to place!!!!

We had been trying to come here since they opened, but there's always an hour and a half wait. Since we actually had a day off, we were able to visit earlier in the day without a crazy wait. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the seafood pot pie, which tasted like a clam chowder (with 3-4 pieces of shrimp in it) and topped with a lobster claw. We sat outside so we could have a view of the ocean. Plus, I'm not a fan of the layout of tables on the inside. The bench seat against the wall with regular chairs across from you reminds me of a banquet hall. There is no privacy since you are literally sitting next to the party next to you. They could have done so much more on the inside, but I still love this restaurant and highly recommend it. I will definitely be back to try something else on the menu. That is...if I'm able to order something else besides the pot pie. Every since I left I've been craving another one! ❤️

Great atmosphere. Sweet staff. Amazing food! We tried the Filet, Fresh Catch, and Spaghetti Squash plates. All were incredibly flavorful! I asked for a drink recommendation and our waitress suggested the Champagne Pear Martini (pictured). It did not disappoint- light and flavorful!

First visit after a Google search for seafood near Palm Coast. What a great menu selection of seafood, pasta and French courses. Top it off with a delicious dessert. You can’t go wrong.

One person in our party has a severe allergy to bell peppers. The chef & server went above & beyond to ensure there were no bell peppers in the food & no cross-contamination. Kudos to the chef & server!

Was exploring the beach and stopped in. The food was the best meal I’ll had in a long time. The drinks (lemon drop martini) was perfect. Plan on going back for my birthday dinner this Friday.. Hopefully I can get a table

Great Vibe, great food and cocktails. We had the Crispy Duck lettuce wraps, Filet Mignon Carpaccio and Tempura Colossal Shrimp ( gone before we took pictures). Drinks were fabulous.

We waited about 40 minutes after ordering our food. Even though the place was fairly empty. Our server was gracious and the atmosphere nice. The food was mediocre at best.

While the wait time at this location is forever long my experience was great and the food was good. The atmosphere is welcoming , cozy, and relaxing. I love the openness of the layout and the outdoor seating area is well designed in my opinion for the Flagler beach location. I also like how you can pay for your food at the table and the waiter does the transaction right there in front out you. Furthermore, the food portions are generous and yes, it’s a bit pricy $$$ but for an every once in awhile outing, I think you will enjoy yourself. The only suggestion that I would give is that the business should be more alert to the wait time that people have to wait to get a table and maybe offering water and having some outdoor fans in the entrance area for waiters and your staff can create a more pleasant dining experience.

We have been long time customers of the Golden Lion and recently heard about a new restaurant “next door”. Try as I might I couldn’t get anyone who had the pleasure of patronizing this upscale establishment to tell me the name, other then it was “next door” to the Golden Lion. Well lo and behold it is next door and it is called Next Door….Beach Bistro! Lovely vibe, pretty decor,cool crowd,great food and service. Thank you Christian for taking care of us at the bar,this place is going to be a winner. Steve….Next Door has become my wife’s favorite restaurant in Flagler Beach and so we returned last night to celebrate her birthday. However this time we brought her parents to join us as first timers. As usual everything was sublime including the surprise birthday cake. A special shout-out to Craig the manager,our server Ana and Kelly at the bar all of whom went out of their way to see to our wonderful night. Thank you all.

Really cute place and definitely feels 'fancy' considering the other places on the beach. Fancy doesn't describe the prices though because these cocktails were GREAT and the pricing was excellent compared to cocktails we've had all over the country. Sat at the bar and all the bartenders were awesome. Loved the old fashioned and espresso martini in particular.

What an amazing addition to Flagler Beach. The atmosphere is appropriate for being on the beach and enjoying a wonderful meal. The staff is pleasant. The restaurant is very clean. The food was outstanding and the prices are fitting for the amount of food you receive. The drinks are also very good and full of flavor. I love the jalapeno cucumber drink it is amazing.

Drinks....Martinis served in Coupe glasses...epic fail! The fact that they do not have ANY Martini glasses for $13+ Martinis is wrong. Ordered a Dry Tanqeray Martini with olives, 1 Tanqeray $9.00 Martini Up $4.00 .... served in a Coupe glass. Expresso Martini... $13.00 served in a Coupe glass Bar service 5 star, food excellent... Being cheap on stemware is ridiculous 🙄

Amazing food and fast service. We driver over 30 minutes from Daytona beach to eat here and are considering going back again. We had the catch of the day and filet and everything was perfect. Great espresso martini made with real espresso!

This is the gem of Flagler Beach. Every time we've been it's been superior in every way to other bars and restaurants. Beautiful decor and amazing service. The food and cocktails are the best, be it a little pricey. You're paying for the atmosphere and service. Big shout out the bar maids and tenders. They do amazing work.

We decided to stop by for dinner on our way home from a road trip and glad we did! We had seen the restaurant on one of our many visits to the area and wanted to change it up a bit. It was a busy weekend and there was a wait but it was worth the wait. The restaurant is nicely decorated, modern, open with inside and outside seating with a bar area. It overlooks the ocean and what could be better than dinner with a view? We sat at the bar while we waited for our table and they had a good selection of drinks and wine. Our server was attentive and happy to answer any questions or make suggestions. We ordered the lobster bisque, cesar salad with chicken, steak and fries and the fresh spaghetti squash with salmon (our server told us it was available even if it was not listed on the menu, but it was a bit pricey, but very tasty). We will be back for sure next time we visit the area.

Seafood pot pie, filet mignon sandwich, quesadilla for appetizer and sticky toffee pudding. All delicious ! Will definitely be back!

At the price point Next Door asks, all stars should be 5. Food is generally great, but the occasional cold fries or misplated order should not be tolerated. Do they have someone on expo? There is a core service crew that are consistent but the fringe servers bring something to improve upon. Restaurant is a good concept and generally hits 5 stars with us but the occasional bad meal should be fixed because we dine there 1 or 2 times per week.

I love going to this place. Our recent experience was a little disappointing. My husband ordered the Alfredo ($11), but he added shrimp, making it a $29 plate. Knowing they serve Argentinian shrimp, he was looking forward to it. When his late arrived, it only had 3 medium sized shrimp in it. I don't think we've ever paid $6 per shrimp before. It was a rip-off. We didn't want to complain since we were with some friends. Just be careful if you order this that you're getting what you paid for.

The food, service and atmosphere was real good but the flies were bad. We had anywhere between 5-10 flies on our table and food at any given time and we were seated inside. Outside I understand. We spent most of our time waving flies away. Get that under control and it will be a great experience.

Most part food is excellent, roast chicken, Steaks, pork chop ,seafood, but, Bouillabaisse. Little short on seafood also could remove shells on seafood because its messy. It our favorite place, Wish they add duck breast, lamb chops & few others. Our weekly place. Great

By far the best restaurant in Flagler Beach. The restaurant itself is a new build out and very modern looking. The menu was pretty diverse and all of the food was just great. I found the prices to be low for the quality of food that they had served. I would have expected to pay more and would have. Service was also great, attentive and friendly.

Went here for the first time with dear friends. Everything was wonderful. From the lobster bisque to my spaghetti squash entree. Everyone in our group live Everything. Cooked to perfection. From the moment we were greeted coming in to Craig welcoming us to our seats till we walked out the door, we felt special. If you are on the fence, give them a try. You will not be disappointed. They know how to run a restaurant. ♡

Wow. Flagler beach was missing this place for way too long! My family dined on the patio on a perfect breezy evening. We sipped on the champagne Pear Martini and shared a lobster bisque to start. Blown away by the flavors! Our servers Were Beth and Tamala. They were attentive and knowledgeable. Some of the best we’ve ever had for service. I ordered the duck lettuce wraps and my husband the steak and fries. These dishes were fantastic! The duck was crispy along the edges and the steak cooked to perfection. The meal was top notch, unlike anything Flagler beach has to offer. The ambiance was nothing short of spectacular. Don’t pass this place up. We will be goin back over and over again.

Good food and drinks but the music was way too loud!

We had a wonderful experience here last night. This was our first visit, but won't be our last. We were promptly greeted by the host and requested a table inside as it was a bit chilly with the onshore winds that day. We were told we would have a 15 minute wait. That worked out perfectly as we wanted to check the place out. The central bar area gave us a 360 degree look around and we really liked what we saw. Very warm, friendly and Beach casual. A bartender was quick to welcome us to the bar and got us each a glass of wine. Very nice ambiance. I could hear the music just enough to enjoy both the tunes and conversation. Once seated we had the Filet Carpacio and it was AMAZING! For dinner entrees, I ordered the Duck Frites and my wife had the Spaghetti Squash with pan seared shrimp. Both dishes were expertly prepared and presented. Absolutely delicious! For desert, we shared a Creme Brule and it was also spot on. If you read my other reviews, you will find I am pretty tough to please. I believe dining out should be a special event and I seek out venues that understand and deliver on that theme. The Next Door Beach Bistro did that 100%. 5 Stars all around! Special mention to our server Aryana also. She was excellent! Cheers and see you again soon ND!

Was very impressed a small beach town like Flagler Beach had such an amazing French restaurant with amazing food! Great service with Michelle - loved the Filet Mignon - could cut my Med Rare filet with a fork- best tasting Truffle fries and a perfect pairing of spring lettuce salad with house dressing, great dinner combination! Daughter Laura had salmon and was all thumbs up!! Highly recommend the Lobster Bisque soup- beautiful presentation and delicious taste!! If you go to Flagler, amazing restaurant choices- will now include and -highly recommend eating here❤️

Upscale beachfront bistro … great wine selection … service was excellent. Food was very good. Highly recommend the Spaghetti squash and beet salad.

First time here, Sunday afternoon, tried the tempura shrimp which was delicious, the best thing we had. Also ordered the ahi tuna salad which was "ok" but not as good as the place next door. We also tried the chicken dish with sausage stuffing but it was overcooked and dry. The steak and fries came out well done even though we ordered it medium but they did redo it for us and it came out better the second time but the filet itself was stringy. The shaved filet sandwich was excellent and the truffle fries were delicious. Lastly we tried their sticky toffee pudding . I'd give it a 3 out of 5. It wasn't bad, just wasn't anything special. The worst thing and the main reason for not giving them 5 stars is that we were constantly fighting off the flies. They were relentless and made me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Not sure if I'll hurry back. Location is great, views of the ocean, but the food could be better. Service was good and very friendly.

We usually come here once a month but I have been disappointed the last couple times. Tonight I requested my steak medium rare and it came medium well. When I mentioned this to the server he just brushed it off and said “I’ll tell them”. I wasn’t asking for him to redo it or take it off the bill , but some acknowledgement of the issue would have been appropriate. My catch of the day was over cooked last time. A little more attention in the kitchen is definitely needed.

This my absolute new favorite restaurant in Volusia/Flagler County!! This was our first time visiting this place and I can tell you I am so pleased to see upscale atmosphere, freshly made cocktails , excellent service and presentation of beautifully crafted food! I had pan seared Cobia fish and my husband had shredded filet mignon sandwich. Both were delicious. Will definitely be back

Delicious and local :) with a water view, excellent fresh food, and specials on hand. This is one, if not the only, renovated place in Flagler Beach that my wife and I go back to on regular basis.

Recently, I celebrated my wife's 40th birthday dinner with a small group of friends at NDB . The entire experience was flawless. From making reservations to the delicious food, impeccable service, and exceptional drinks, it has become my top choice eatery in Flagler Beach. Apr 2024: Came in for lunch on a Saturday. Got the lobster bisque, but have had better up north. Also got the chicken entree and Cobb salad. Chicken entree was awesome; stuffing had a lot of flavor. Cobb salad was ok. Drinks were good, I got the Paris night and espresso martini.

We love enjoying a meal at Next Door Beach Bistro. It is our "go-to" spot! The food has been consistently great, which is very hard to find. Service is excellent, and you can't beat the ocean view. We will continue to frequent this restaurant!!

I enjoy the food, but I keep coming back because I enjoy chatting with Gabe at the bar, he always makes me feel welcome and keeps me engaged

The ambience is great, the drinks and food were good but.... to get a top shelf margarita I was charged an above average price in my opinion ($19 for a skinny casamigos tequila) and there we were enjoying our drink that we had left over after having dinner and the manager and server looked at us like when are yall leaving... that wasn't very nice.

I don't want to share how good this place is so I still can get a seat without waiting but it is really a place to get great food and drinks by the the beach and really relax. Can't wait to come back to decide if I want the same thing I had last time (lobster roll) because it was so rememberal or try something else from feedback of the other dishes of others at our table.

We have dined here 3 times and every time the service is awful. The servers are very kind but they disappear for very long periods of time. I think they are just stretched too thin serving too many tables. After we were finished it Took almost a half hour to get our check. And if you want something you have to get up and track your server down.

This was our first visit here, and what a great place to go and unwind, enjoy a delicious cocktail, have some great food, and take in the beautiful beachfront views and atmosphere. We loved the wide open look and feel of this place. Excellent bartenders, great food, and a relaxing place to hangout, what more do you need. We will definitely be back on a regular basis.

Hot on the A1A, Next Door Beach Bistro has a prime location for beautiful ocean views while you eat. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere all sum up the experience perfectly here. This is a more fanciful experience than other bar and restaurants in the area. So be sure to dress nice. There is public parking just south west of the building.

Please be aware that this is a finer Dining experience establishment and the prices are going to reflect that on the menu, With that being said we absolutely loved our time here.All of the food we were served and the service we were provided with. The peel and eat shrimp were to die for😍

One of the best places in the area. The food is fantastic, we usually get seafood, salads, mussels, soups. Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. We usually come with our baby and they’ve always been great about it. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic vegetarian entree! Flavorful, wonderful spaghetti squash entree. The chocolate fondant dessert was amazing too (the bourbon bread pudding, though, had no trace of bourbon)

We have dined at this wonderful restaurant over a dozen times. We rarely eat the same item but are always incredibly pleased with the quality of the food and service. We are fans of the menu and this has become our go to eatery. No matter what we chose, the food and service is always 5 star.

Came here on reccomendation for a delicious lobster bisque. We started at the bar where I had a dirty martini. We were seated more quickly than anticipated. Our server Beth was fantastic from the start, she informed us of how much food would be good for two and had the portions split onto 2 plates so we did not have to split it ourselves. Unfortunately when it came to the lobster bisque it was lacking in flavor, once the sherry was added we found it to be inedible as it tasted like pure alcohol. Beth was so kind and offered to give us a fresh bowl which we declined, and she had it removed from the bill. This was totally not necessary but really appreciated. I liked the variety of entrees. Very rarely is spaghetti squash on the menu and I loved having a low carb option. The service here has me wanting to come back

We recently had lunch at this beachfront restaurant, nearly two weeks ago, and the ambiance was simply delightful. Our server, Amy, truly elevated the experience with her exceptional attentiveness and knowledge of the menu. The food was delicious! I recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a lovely meal by the beach.

Had a friend's lunch with two of my friends and it was outstanding! All three of us ordered the Beet Salad with melted goat cheese ... OMGOSH... the lettuce was chopped perfectly, garnished with nuts and the dressing was to die for... A large portion, I had enough to take a box home. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the ocean. The service was on point as everyone had other appts they needed to get to but perfect spot to take a breath and enjoy the company, view, and especially the food.

Please be sure to ask your server how much the specials cost. We were not told before ordering the special. My partner ordered the sea bass with truffle fries for lunch (their special). The fish was very thin, and not anywhere near filling. The fries were fine. We were thinking, based on the prices at this restaurant, that his meal would be around $30 for a small piece of fish and fries cooked in truffle oil. It was actually $49. I was flabbergasted. This was our 2nd visit. We weren't overjoyed the 1st visit, but they had just opened, so I wanted to give it another try. Sadly, we won't be returning. Between the enormous prices, and the flies/nats taking up residence at our table (w/the doors closed), it makes more sense to go to Breakawayz or the Turtle Shack for lunch. I would recommend Next Door Bistro if you're going out for a fancy drink in the evening.

Amazing spot!! I can't wait to go back. Every single thing we ordered from the drinks to the dessert was amazing. The build your own duck lettuce wraps were out of this world delicious. The duck confit and fries was amazing. I'll be having both of those dishes again for sure. Don't walk, run here! They don't take reservations for smaller parties so show up expecting to wait, or look for a spot at the bar. Either way, it's worth it.
